@Satoonerist @virginmedia Totally agree, I've just been pissed about trying to get through to cancellations, I refused technical help and and engineer and I'm going to take a chance that my neighbours are right and Talk Talk is decent these days.

@SkyHelpTeam shocking service. Iwithout any tv for over 30hrs. Technical fault & and no signal.I pay premium rates for this - the Weather is fine golf & cricket being played today most disappointed having left @virginmedia a few years ago and i need to go back to them now

@virginmedia Because that's something you should have offered 4 months ago before the endless hour long phone calls, not something you should have offered only when I went though 3 different people to cancel. I also can't take a day off work for an engineer during August.

@virginmedia There’s no service issue, the engineer had punctured the cabling with a cable tack. It stops the fibre optic cable from working. I removed it but not before having to sit on the phone for 30 minutes after me complaining the other day about your inept installation team

@virginmedia Ah so now you’ve acknowledged there’s an issue in the area with a fix ETA of nearly 3am. So no broadband all evening. This happened last week too. This isn’t acceptable service levels.

@virginmedia I've already spoke to someone on the phone on Monday and was told to phone back in 24hrs however waited over 2 hours on hold throughout the last 2 nights so I don't know what the problem is... Is it possible to have someone call me?

@virginmedia One other question, before we moved house two weeks ago, in a different location, when on channel 101 there was the option to press the blue button on the remote to watch in HD. This doesn't work now for 101 or 104 but it work for other channels, such as 106.
