@virginmedia We have. Multiple times. Your agents don't know how to help. Spoke to 3 different people. I'm getting contant update emails. I don't need to check the service. I know its down. This is beyond ridiculous. I work from home, I can't do my job because of your terrible service.

  • embedded_iot Alex (@embedded_iot) reported from Seaforth, England

Hey @virginmedia I’m pretty sure these people have a bot watching your bot and are then messaging all of your customers asking for their information. I nearly fell for it due to the speed with which they messaged. This is about to become a very big problem for you @cybergibbons

  • snathe Him Over There 💙👨‍🚀🚀 (@snathe) reported from Halewood, England

The scammer who just rang our landline, claiming to be from "Virgin Media" and saying there was a problem with my internet may have just received the full force of my wrath and ire. And, genuinely, no ***** were given.

  • CryptoDan2k CryptoDan2k (@CryptoDan2k) reported from Roby, England

@virginmedia Yes, as discussed many a time. Without fail occasion I phone there is a fault in my area and you will not send out a technician. This circle can not seam to be broken. This is why you have failed to get an engineer out to me for months and months.

  • _samhowell ⚒ Sam ⚒ Warrington Hammer ⚒ (@_samhowell) reported from Warrington, England

Also @virginmedia need to remind their call centre staff that customers are not idiots; the guy I was talking to had no idea why the link wasnt working so asdvised me to "Try again after 5, if its still not working call back" wonder if he managed clock out bang on 5?

  • ylilxanoi 🥔 A bean has no name 🥔 (@ylilxanoi) reported from Wigan, England

@virginmedia Internet is down in our area since Monday. I keep getting multiple emails saying it'll be fixed by 12pm tomorrow, then 4pm Wednesday 12pm Thursday, 12pm Friday and now 4pm Friday. None of your call centre staff can help us we've spent hours on hold this week.

  • CryptoDan2k CryptoDan2k (@CryptoDan2k) reported from Roby, England

@virginmedia The issue is I also believe it's my equipment as well. The down time I have you don't seam to log it all. I dont want a router upgrade or anything like that I just want a working router. Everytime I call there is a fault in the area.

  • ylilxanoi 🥔 A bean has no name 🥔 (@ylilxanoi) reported from Wigan, England

@Virgin #virginmediadown Virgin media is an absolute bag of ****, pass it on

  • ylilxanoi 🥔 A bean has no name 🥔 (@ylilxanoi) reported from Wigan, England

@Virgin @virginmedia #virginmediadown #VirginMedia Imagine paying £52 a month for Internet to be down for 5 days. We work from home. I've used all my 4g, had to buy more to do my job yet when you call up they say it'll be fixed by.. and keeps being postponeded. Fix it Virgin.

  • ylilxanoi 🥔 A bean has no name 🥔 (@ylilxanoi) reported from Wigan, England

@virginmedia my interest been down for a whole week. Call centre staff don't know what to say. An engineer has been on site every single day apparently. Can someone fix my internet. I pay £52 a month this is beyond a joke. I've used all my 4g& bought a ****** dongle just to WFH

  • embedded_iot Alex (@embedded_iot) reported from Seaforth, England

@virginmedia You need to escalate this urgently imho and come up with a solution. I’m saying this for your benefit as it’s going to cause mayhem

  • CryptoDan2k CryptoDan2k (@CryptoDan2k) reported from Roby, England

@virginmedia Yes, like previously said this is minimum of once, sometimes.twice weekly then I have to phone yous to split the signal again.

  • jameshughes911 James Hughes (@jameshughes911) reported from Liverpool, England

@virginmedia I would like to raise a formal complaint with the way I have been treated by your team today please. Your so called “Customer Service” is shocking and should be renamed “Customer Victimisation”. It is now my intention to cancel my contract after over 5 years loyalty

  • CryptoDan2k CryptoDan2k (@CryptoDan2k) reported from Roby, England

@virginmedia Are you wanting me to comment in the broadband section? Can you explain the benefits of this as you won't send an engineer out if there is an issue constantly in the area and your tech team are already aware of it, plus I have the ofcom complaint aswell?

  • VeryGrumpyKev Kev (@VeryGrumpyKev) reported from Birkenhead, England

@virginmedia Nah. You’ve got the order number just stop sending **** to me (not that it will get to me anyway). Please note I won’t be held liable if someone else chooses to use this SIM card so I’d advise you to block it here and now.

  • CryptoDan2k CryptoDan2k (@CryptoDan2k) reported from Roby, England

@virginmedia I'm guessing they don't work Saturday Sunday, so that will take us from Thursday to some point Monday for a resolution? Would it be quick if I phone up, send me a case ref number or something?

  • CryptoDan2k CryptoDan2k (@CryptoDan2k) reported from Roby, England

@virginmedia I totally agree, unfortunately this is not something you have been able to arrange for me for the last 3 months either. 👍 What's the solution?

  • CryptoDan2k CryptoDan2k (@CryptoDan2k) reported from Roby, England

@virginmedia No, not really as you have reliability issues in my home which I believe is part the router and part the virgin line coming into my home.

  • CryptoDan2k CryptoDan2k (@CryptoDan2k) reported from Roby, England

@virginmedia You have literally sent me the same link of what I have just screen shot to you to ask me to do the same thing again of the point you have just addressed. 😡😡😡 Fix the bloody problem and get an engineer to my house!

  • lurkmoophy Luke Murphy 🏳️‍🌈🦄 (@lurkmoophy) reported

@psdesignuk @virginmedia I had virgin but the wifi on the hub is pretty terrible. Just upgraded to an eero and went from having 40-60mbps to >200mbps all the time

  • BlueMist_CTID Di MCFC 💙🐝 (@BlueMist_CTID) reported

@virginmedia Just wifi mainly. It may drop out for a few seconds or a minute or two, but it can also drop out altogether, where I have to reboot. It's definitely a VM problem as my brother, who lives in a different area has the same issues.

  • chrisoliver71 Chris Oliver🌳☁️🗽 (@chrisoliver71) reported

@virginmedia This is really unfair as I have been a customer for many years, always paid my full bill on time but never had a consistent full service.

  • Barney666Simon Barney 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇬🇧 (@Barney666Simon) reported

@virginmedia And hereby I start the never ending process of going around in circles..... @virginmedia tell me one thing, Aklamio tell me ANOTHER... 🤬😡 This is why I rate @virginmedia with some of the worst customer service around... #customerexperience

  • tmlnsn29 pete (@tmlnsn29) reported

@virginmedia No. I am desperate to speak to someone in the local pre-install team (area code 22) who can arrange this ASAP. Offshore customer service cannot help.

  • psdesignuk @psdesignuk@mastodon.social (@psdesignuk) reported

@lurkmoophy @virginmedia That's some increase on just the router. Luckily enough, the router we got with our package is fairly decent. Although, I haven't set up my office yet so the signal and dropout will be tested there.

  • jimbuchanan21 Jim Buchanan (@jimbuchanan21) reported

@virginmedia Here we go again! Another day of dreadful broadband service. What exactly are we paying for???

  • Sparkling7up Michelle (@Sparkling7up) reported

@VirginMediaIE Hi Craig, No we arent customers, and we have never been provided a service by Virgin Media.

  • Lee_Mason_ Lee Mason (@Lee_Mason_) reported

@DK1_DK1 @virginmedia 100% agree with you, I also work from home, internet goes off... my contact details are up to date and no notification from Virgin with regards to any 'planned works'? If I had known I could worked from a different location today. Really poor service from Virgin.
