@CruisingTheCut I’ve had very few issues with virgin media - depends if you need TV though. Otherwise I’ve heard very good things about over the air using the three network or EE.

  • RayWaring
Ray Waring (@RayWaring) reported from Liverpool, England

@virginmedia Sorry I really don’t get it. A few hours ago I was told that your team would investigate etc. Now you’re telling you don’t have any access so I’m left to hang on with no one from VM being able to update me. Is that it?

  • elisabethhilto4

Martin Travis (@lurkinhead) reported from Birkenhead, England

@BlaggerBly @virginmedia Seems to be Wirral wide at least, and I think Liverpool is affected too. VM should be massively compensating their affected customers for this, but they hide behind their terms and conditions where they only deem it reasonable to compensate if the outage last more than 3 days!

  • CallyRaven
Carol Rowles (@CallyRaven) reported from Westhoughton, England

@virginmedia I seem to be the first one to report them, still saying intermittent problems in my area. Can't get to speak to anyone on phone, I rely on the Internet.

@virginmedia Can I speak to a human, please? It’s impossible to speak to anyone here. I paid for my bill via bank transfer more than a week ago and it hasn’t been registered. Phone service is not recognising my password and I can’t find a live chat.

  • VirginMediaNews

Prince Harry, Elton John and five others have been ordered to pay an initial £9.5 million to the publisher of Britain’s Daily Mail following their failed privacy case. The group had accused the publisher of unlawful information gathering - claims it denied. The judge found there was insufficient evidence to support the claims and said there was a possibility the reporting came from legitimate sources. The £9.5 million payment must be made by August 28. @virginmedia Yes I have: it says estimated fix time 5.08 which is brilliant as I’m supposed to be working from home!!

  • APTSArchive
    APTS Archive (@APTSArchive) reported

Quick update following my post - I did have a DM discussion with VirginMedia. Apparently all refunds are process via cheque payments and posted to you - and I’ve got to wait up to 45 days - yes 45 days for the cheque. If I’ve not received it by then I’ve got to contact them again and they will investigate why - probably waiting another 45 days. This is disgusting behaviour @virginmedia, despite it being so called company policy. You took £1,070 from our account despite assurance the equipment return date had been extended, causing us to be overdrawn, yet you now hang on to our money for up to 45 days! It doesn’t take 45 days for a computer to print a cheque!

  • GGWilliams72
    GW (@GGWilliams72) reported

@cdavo25 @virginmedia I had Stream Box and Broadband set up yesterday. Neither working today, tried Cust Serv’s on hold over 45 mins and still no answer! These people are as garbage as their services, spend your money elsewhere. I’m going back to @SkyUK 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

  • tessasegal

@CommunityFibre another flat in our building has had CFibre installed, technician back today. Everybody else’s @virginmedia now not working- can you advise what we can do?!

  • MrMoanivator
    Mr Moanivator (@MrMoanivator) reported

@virginmedia My broadband hasn't been working since around 11am today. All week, Virgin has said that work was due to be completed in my area around 11:15am today. It's now saying that the Hub is the problem. I've restarted and reset it, but it's still not working 🤬

  • jhargie4
    john (@jhargie4) reported

@O2 @virginmedia @Virgin CEO Lutz Schueler Deadlock letter has now been received although it completely does not address my actual complaint and the reported resolution is factually incorrect. Just shows the total lack of respect shown to a 20 year loyal customer
