-
Ray Waring (@RayWaring) reported from Liverpool, England@virginmedia Sorry I really don’t get it. A few hours ago I was told that your team would investigate etc. Now you’re telling you don’t have any access so I’m left to hang on with no one from VM being able to update me. Is that it?
-
Graeme Radebe (@Radebreast) reported from Ormskirk, England@virginmedia what have you done to the Sky TV app - its constantly buffering and showing error messages. Just awful service. Please can you get this sorted ASAP please.
-
Capitã Nat (@NatashaVic) reported from Liverpool, England@virginmedia Can I speak to a human, please? It’s impossible to speak to anyone here. I paid for my bill via bank transfer more than a week ago and it hasn’t been registered. Phone service is not recognising my password and I can’t find a live chat.
-
Martin Travis (@lurkinhead) reported from Birkenhead, England@virginmedia There's no point raising a complaint is there, as you won't comprnsate? Other reputable oroviders offer a back-up 4 or 5g device to kick in if their main broadband goes down, to keep the service running. Not VM though - it's just all really poor customer service innit?
-
Carol Rowles (@CallyRaven) reported from Westhoughton, England@virginmedia I seem to be the first one to report them, still saying intermittent problems in my area. Can't get to speak to anyone on phone, I rely on the Internet.
-
Rob (@Robertlfc_) reported from Liverpool, England@virginmedia thanks for the awful internet service, f*cking useless you are
-
Tim Jackson (@TimmyJ1972) reported from Garston, England@virginmedia To be honest, the issue is an intermittent fault. My wife works from home and the broadband just drops out numerous times a day. Then comes back on. It’s only worthwhile doing a remote test if it’s when it drops out. Otherwise all will look fine
-
Carol Rowles (@CallyRaven) reported from Westhoughton, England@virginmedia And our Internet is down again this morning! So because its intermittent we don't get compensation, tried to call, can't get through (have to do it on mobile, our 'landline' is now internet reliant!)
-
Nicola Bates (@Nicolajb87) reported from Liverpool, England@virginmedia can you help my mum and dad they have had no telephone line since yesterday. The internet also went off but that seems to be back on now. It’s vital we get the phone on asap
-
Tom Rushton (@tomrushton88) reported from Haydock, England@virginmedia Don't use this company its disgusting and disappointing the way they treat customers. Been trying to sort my contract out for 3 months now while they rob my money, create contracts that I've not agreed to and cancel complaints that I've raised.
-
Stuart Wilks-Heeg (@StuartWilksHeeg) reported from Seaforth, England@tonymc39 @virginmedia Really, truly shockingly terrible.
-
Mrs Smith (@SmithysMaud) reported from St Helens, England@virginmedia Yes, this has been going on now for months. Was just on to your team to cancel, they hung up on me. I’ve never known a more woeful service. They are quick enough to take payment every month for a service I’m not getting.
-
Jemima (@JemimaCamhs) reported from Garston, England@virginmedia Hi, will this continued investment mean finally getting signal in my area? It’s a central area and the signal is awful. Thanks
-
Mrs Smith (@SmithysMaud) reported from St Helens, England@virginmedia 3 x engineer visits, each time telling me there’s a blockage. Why does nobody fix it? I can’t even get through to cancel my services and get a refund for the direct debits I’ve paid when I’ve had zero service.
-
Mrs Smith (@SmithysMaud) reported from St Helens, England@virginmedia Nobody can help me, they just keep asking for patience. They’ve had since august to fix it. It’s unacceptable.
-

-
K (@Khushal) reported@RizWanKenobi_ Everyone’s on OpenReach lines, but I was with Sky first & their setup alone took 6 weeks cos they’re too incompetent though service was okayish. Now with Virgin Media for 3 years and paying for 1 gig to get a 500 Mbps download speed. Complained repeatedly but nothing happens.
-
UTV1874 (@neiloco76) reported@virginmedia Just wondering,, the people that work for you,,,,,do any of them actually know how to do their job?? I've only had virgin for 6 weeks and your already on the 6th **** up! TERRIBLE customer service, wouldnt know their arse from their elbow #virginmedia #useless
-
Come On You Wands (@craywanderers) reported@Debbo3496361 Not according to my Virgin Media TV listing. But my FreeSat box tells me they are. So, a paid-for service doesn't but a free service does. Go figure (but only if you want to).
-
Chris Whild (@whild13) reported@virginmedia when do I receive my Netflix sign in
-
RoadRunner TX (@FredBra93439257) reported@TheMercianNews I'd like to see mobile phone and internet companies shut down operating in the UK on a single day. Have USN/Seals sever all international fiber into the UK on a single day. SHUT DOWN the City of London Physically SEVER International Fiber from BT/OpenReach, VirginMedia/O2, Vodaphone and the LINX Nework internchange in London. Ideally each line in 2-3 points of varying distance from UK shores to make repair more complex than laying new fiber. Air attack on all the major BT interchanges plus the physical operations of Cloudflare Akamai, AWS/Cloudfront, GoogleCloud CDN and smaller operators like Azure, Netflix, Meta and every source of new fiber either mfg or warehousing Destroy every piece of equipment and then just leave. Make all European govts TERRIFIED of the crazy Americans Destroy the internet as a means of brainwashing the British public
-
Dobbin1957 (@dobbin1957) reported@virginmedia The service status page now says. 17.07 - you also sent a text to my wife who is the account holder at 08.07 today to say everything is fixed. So you clearly haven’t a clue what you are doing and yet you expect your customers to be patient. Time to give Virgin the boot I think.

IFB Media (@IFBMedia) reportedThis is the problem LOI TV and Virgin Media can’t solve on their own. Both have done more for this league in a few years than RTÉ managed in decades. Let that sit for a second. A streaming service and a commercial broadcaster have outworked the national broadcaster on its own game. RTÉ isn’t short on money. It’s short on will. Every household in this country funds that broadcaster through the licence fee. League of Ireland clubs are part of that country too. Yet the domestic game still gets treated like an inconvenience, squeezed out whenever something bigger comes along… That’s not neutrality. That’s a broadcaster showing you exactly where its priorities sit. And it ain’t with covering our Domestic Football teams irrespective of whether it’s home, abroad or both. Other platforms shouldn’t be doing RTÉ’s job for it. They shouldn’t have to. A national broadcaster shows up for the national game. Consistently. Not when it suits the schedule. Until RTÉ treats League of Ireland like it matters, everyone else will keep doing the job it was funded to do. That’s not a compliment to the others. It’s an indictment of RTÉ. This is exactly why Irish football needs a genuine TV deal, not scraps of coverage from whoever happens to show up. The prize money isn’t there. The funding model is fragile. A real broadcast deal is how you finally finance this league properly. Until that exists, moments like this keep repeating.
