Virgin Media Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Chris L (@CDPL1) reported@virginmedia what a joke of a company. I need my broadband point moved. Cable through the frame of my front door will be cut next week when a new door is installed. I will be without a service until 13th July which is the earliest an engineer can attend.
-
Prettyflyguy (@Prettyflyguy77) reported@KaiGWatson Have a look at Cityfibre providers if your area has it. You'll get Virgin media speeds but with a much better reliable service.
-
Sam Ed (@iam_samedoho) reported@OgaHans MTN is one of the biggest network operators in Nigeria. EE, Virgin Media O2, Vodafone, and Three are the major network operators in the UK. EE coverage is very good because BT owns and operates it using its existing infrastructure. Most of the smaller network operators are resellers. They bulk-buy wholesale - network minutes, texts, and data at a heavily discounted rate from (like EE, VMO2, or VodafoneThree) and resell it to people. Their coverage isn't good because they are limited. They are only competitive on price, not on coverage.
-
Dan Stevens (@DanStev14730264) reported@virginmedia What a joke I will not be waiting 10 days for your service to come back on, thanks for ruining the world cup for us all. I want compensation for this it's outrageous
-
Hesaga (@Hesaga_) reported@TOBZYNWA @sweenus987 @Thafnine YouTube doesn't really count for live yet. but it'll be the same has having sky in the uk or virgin media and never watching bbc but still having to pay for tv licence because the option is there to watch it so you need to pay.

IFB Media (@IFBMedia) reportedThis is the problem LOI TV and Virgin Media can’t solve on their own. Both have done more for this league in a few years than RTÉ managed in decades. Let that sit for a second. A streaming service and a commercial broadcaster have outworked the national broadcaster on its own game. RTÉ isn’t short on money. It’s short on will. Every household in this country funds that broadcaster through the licence fee. League of Ireland clubs are part of that country too. Yet the domestic game still gets treated like an inconvenience, squeezed out whenever something bigger comes along… That’s not neutrality. That’s a broadcaster showing you exactly where its priorities sit. And it ain’t with covering our Domestic Football teams irrespective of whether it’s home, abroad or both. Other platforms shouldn’t be doing RTÉ’s job for it. They shouldn’t have to. A national broadcaster shows up for the national game. Consistently. Not when it suits the schedule. Until RTÉ treats League of Ireland like it matters, everyone else will keep doing the job it was funded to do. That’s not a compliment to the others. It’s an indictment of RTÉ. This is exactly why Irish football needs a genuine TV deal, not scraps of coverage from whoever happens to show up. The prize money isn’t there. The funding model is fragile. A real broadcast deal is how you finally finance this league properly. Until that exists, moments like this keep repeating.

🇰🇪 (@MrLewisVuitton) reported@NtantuNow @virginmedia Switch to @Plusnet . Haven’t had a single outage in 2 years sine watching. With Virgin it happened twice in 6 months of joining lol
-
Andy (@andy_treadwell) reported@youfibre Your updated privacy terms catches the eye: "When we may share information with trusted service providers and partners;" If I start getting spam from youfibre 'partners' = bye bye & that is on top of virgin media buying you (many of us are refugees from virginmedia)
-
𝕯𝖊𝖆𝖓𝖔𝖇𝖆𝖌𝖎𝖔 (@Deanobagio) reported@virginmedia And now its down again. This is constant.
-
Duncan Waugh (@waughzone) reported@virginmedia Your customer service is a disgrace. I have had intermittent broadband for 4 weeks but you make it almost impossible to get it fixed. I finally managed to connect to a human on a chat who was next to useless and then sent me an email to say everything was resolved.
