  • tomrushton88
Tom Rushton (@tomrushton88) reported from Haydock, England

@virginmedia And the last complaint I raised over this got cancelled because it didn't have any details to the complaint even though all the messages are there to see through your WhatsApp service but the retentions team can't see that or deal with the complaint or help in anyway way

  • davetarl
Dave Tarleton 💙 (@davetarl) reported from Wallasey, England

@virginmedia I want to cancel my contract as it is at the end. Twice now I have been kicked off the chat whilst waiting. This is unacceptable. I can't ring at present so the chat is ideal to run in the background. I just want to press a button that says end the contract!

  • GarethWHughes
Gareth Hughes GBC TV (@GarethWHughes) reported from Roby, England

Has virgin media gone down? #virginmedia @virginmedia

  • Gary_Kilroy
Gary Kilroy (@Gary_Kilroy) reported from Liverpool, England

Having the choice of the awful customer service of @virginmedia or the @bt_uk network which in my area might as well be two tin cans tied together with string is great!

  • supergran22
Maureen StewartJones (@supergran22) reported from Eccleston, England

@virginmedia Thanks. Very frustrating and time consuming. Spent whole afternoon trying to sort it. Twitter not really the best way to resolve issues especially with an 82 year old.

  • CallyRaven
Carol Rowles (@CallyRaven) reported from Westhoughton, England

@virginmedia And our Internet is down again this morning! So because its intermittent we don't get compensation, tried to call, can't get through (have to do it on mobile, our 'landline' is now internet reliant!)

  • supergran22
Maureen StewartJones (@supergran22) reported from Eccleston, England

@VirginMedia Received message. Now not accepting my email address. I have one only. My problem is with the remote control which is activated by pressing 2 buttons when they light up. Have had nothing but trouble with one remote for one TV. Your communication us not helpful.

  • jgrailpics
James (@jgrailpics) reported from Liverpool, England

When will I be able to go just one single day without @virginmedia failing, cannot wait until next year when the contract is over, increase the bills but reduce the service to next to nothing?

  • 92Tevs
Thomas Evans (@92Tevs) reported from Liverpool, England

@virginmedia do you want the prize for the shittiest broadband ever or would you like to fix my internet service?

  • lurkinhead
Martin Travis (@lurkinhead) reported from Birkenhead, England

@BlaggerBly @virginmedia Seems to be Wirral wide at least, and I think Liverpool is affected too. VM should be massively compensating their affected customers for this, but they hide behind their terms and conditions where they only deem it reasonable to compensate if the outage last more than 3 days!

  • les_murray71
Lesley Murray (@les_murray71) reported from Wallasey, England

@virginmedia @joshyw0shy Its the whole of the Wirral by the sound of it, no statement from Virgin, just telling hundreds of customers to check for an outage, only have to look at their twitter to see how many of us have been told the same thing

  • jmcloughlin
Jamie McLoughlin (@jmcloughlin) reported from Liverpool, England

Anyone having @virginmedia issues in Liverpool area? Our TV has been showing static for the past half hour.

  • 111O1O1O11O
lloyd #utft (@111O1O1O11O) reported from Wallasey, England

@virginmedia I only worked as a network Ops mgr for nearly 10 years, so I guess I wouldn't understand network issues and connectivity, really. Or service level agreements. Or teaching my grandmother how to suck eggs.

  • Nicolajb87
Nicola Bates (@Nicolajb87) reported from Liverpool, England

@virginmedia can you help my mum and dad they have had no telephone line since yesterday. The internet also went off but that seems to be back on now. It’s vital we get the phone on asap

  • 1AnneMcCormack
Anne McCormack (@1AnneMcCormack) reported from Billinge Chapel End, England

@DoctorLemma Well done . Always had great service from @virginmedia just cant afford them anymore.

  • Duddydudson
Kevin Dudson (@Duddydudson) reported from Wigan, England

@NigelJTurner @virginmedia Same for me, I can cancel or change my package by the 28th of march then get a 19% increase on my new package on the 1st of April. Only had my contract 5 months.being **** Turpind here!!!

  • ZachcloseYT
zach close YT 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈 (@ZachcloseYT) reported from St Helens, England

  • DaveMbootlebuck
DM 🦌 (@DaveMbootlebuck) reported from Litherland, England

  • cambo691
Cambo (@cambo691) reported from Birkenhead, England

@les_murray71 @virginmedia This and their woeful customer service is why we binned them off mate

  • Robertlfc_

    @PeteUK7 @virginmedia Bad robot.

  • Baggladee
    Margot (@Baggladee) reported

@virginmedia @JamieGBarry It’s a ridiculous business model that a decent regulator would stop. You lost me as a customer because I didn’t play the game. Apparently I should have phoned you to ‘negotiate’ instead of taking your new price at face value, cancelling and moving to another provider

  • mastersdog
    master P (@mastersdog) reported

I had the same problem with @skybroadcasting and left to join @virginmedia early this year.

  • kevwgs
    kevws (@kevwgs) reported

@PeteUK7 @virginmedia Awful. When my Nan died Barclaycard wrote and said she had to pay her bill. I'd already told them she'd died, but rang them again only to be told "we still need to speak to her". I replied "well you'd better know a good Medium because her ashes are in my hallway". Utter idiocy.

  • KellySeven3
    KellySeven 🦘🍁 (@KellySeven3) reported

@PeteUK7 @virginmedia When my husband died @Optus (Australian telco) harassed me for about two years about his bill and phone. Years. Told them over and over and over that he was dead. It was awful.

  • neilheppen
    Heppo (@neilheppen) reported

@virginmedia @GeoffJonners Why should that matter. An existing customers should be offered the same renewal deal whether online or by speaking to an agent. But of course that's not the case - and even the online renewal offer goes up or down every couple of days. Time the regulators got to grips with it.

  • peebthis
    ִ (@peebthis) reported

@Synifx @PeteUK7 @virginmedia saying this is an "edge case" is absolute bad faith. this exact case happens MULTIPLE TIMES PER DAY for a company like that

  • nottslad2
    nottslad (@nottslad2) reported

@JamieGBarry @virginmedia Same here, customer over 30 years, bill up £55,rang them got a £10 of, no way can I pay that. Loyalty means nothing to them.

  • steve1968mills
    Steve1968mills (@steve1968mills) reported

@alisterrussell @PeteUK7 @virginmedia Please name the company - service like that would encourage people to use them.

  • CryptoVecna
    Saviour (@CryptoVecna) reported

@JamieGBarry @virginmedia And how would this be funded exactly? What a stupid take. Let's get free food too, and electric and gas... And petrol because I have to drive to work
