Mrs Smith (@SmithysMaud) reported from St Helens, England@virginmedia 3 x engineer visits, each time telling me there’s a blockage. Why does nobody fix it? I can’t even get through to cancel my services and get a refund for the direct debits I’ve paid when I’ve had zero service.
-
Maureen StewartJones (@supergran22) reported from Eccleston, England@virginmedia Thanks. Very frustrating and time consuming. Spent whole afternoon trying to sort it. Twitter not really the best way to resolve issues especially with an 82 year old.
-
Mrs Smith (@SmithysMaud) reported from St Helens, England@virginmedia No, they just left. Rang your customer service they are now telling me the problem is internal. I’ve had no internet since July, no tv since August. It’s beyond a joke now. 5 visits I’ve had.

Jack Kelly (@realjackoh187) reported from Widnes, England@virginmedia So I had loss of service but not complete even tho the service I had wasn't enough to even complete a 15 minute online training. Great. Even though you only have cold water, would you still get a bath? Nah don't think you would
-
Mrs Smith (@SmithysMaud) reported from St Helens, England@virginmedia can someone help me please? I’m about to lose my ****. Never ever known anything like this company. Now telling me lies on WhatsApp. Saying i logged an issue weeks after engineers had already been out to find the fault. Refusing compensation after 4 mths no service.
-
Mrs Smith (@SmithysMaud) reported from St Helens, England@virginmedia I reported a total loss of service on 31/8. It was finally fixed this morning. After no shows, lies and weeks between visits. They have not even offered to cover the cost of my last 3 dd’s which I wish I hadn’t paid as I had no service whatsoever

Virgin Media Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
(Re)Search & Destroy (@TruthAsylum121) reportedTHREAD 9 — COMMUNITY CALLING AND THE MONEY BEHIND THE DEVICES The Community Calling programme gives us another important part of the story. Virgin Media O2 and Hubbub have worked together to collect and redistribute unwanted smartphones. Migrant Help has been one of the organisations receiving devices for asylum seekers and refugees. Then there is the Tech Lending Community Fund. The first phase was worth £400,000 and supported charity partners to establish tablet-lending hubs. The projects included organisations such as Thames Reach, the Kurdish and Middle Eastern Women’s Organisation, Willowacre Trust, Refuge and Leeds Refugee Forum, with tablets and O2 data being made available through the programme. In Swansea, around 700 donated phones were distributed through a Community Calling project, with O2 providing 12 months of free data, calls and texts. Swansea Asylum Seekers Support made 127 referrals to the scheme in 2021. Its records also show £8,175 spent on phone top-ups, covering 1,160 £10 top-ups. There was another £2,400 provided by Hay Brecon Talgarth Sanctuary for Refugees. The funding came through organisations including the Moondance Foundation, Comic Relief/SCVS Emergency Fund and Welsh Government/SCVS Integration Care Fund. This is where the investigation starts moving beyond technology companies. There is philanthropic money. There is council money. There is Government money. There is corporate money. And there are charities distributing the resulting technology.

Caroline (@finn33) reported@virginmedia Why do you want a private message. For what. Just get it sorted. Location is EN3. Private message only hides the info from other users that may be complaining about your shoddy service. I pay enough for this ‘service’ get it fixed.
