Please sort this out. You charge enough, surely we are entitled to a service that actually works??@virginmedia #virginmedia

  • John_Kelly17
John Kelly (@John_Kelly17) reported from St Helens, England

@CruisingTheCut I’ve had very few issues with virgin media - depends if you need TV though. Otherwise I’ve heard very good things about over the air using the three network or EE.

  • les_murray71

@virginmedia Yes got the update thanks but not helpful receiving a text to say issue resolved, service has been off for 14 hours now, any background to reason why? Its a massive area to be out with no explanation

  • 111O1O1O11O
lloyd #utft (@111O1O1O11O) reported from Wallasey, England

No service in CH44 for 2 days last week, back on for 2, then off again today. No text updates but service status says a fix by 20.00. Won't happen though will it? @virginmedia

  • TheWiganParky
Laser Lux, Wigan. (@TheWiganParky) reported from Haydock, England

@virginmedia It says there's no issues at the moment, but I'm only getting 13mbps.

  • NdawanaY
Ndawana Youngson (@NdawanaY) reported from Liverpool, England

@virginmedia They worked on it, or so I thought. I was told they fixed some external connections issue (outside the house)

  • LindzDDub
Lindz Devine (@LindzDDub) reported from Wigan, England

@virginmedia @virginhelp I've never had this much issue as I have had today. I'm plugged in on ethernet, I've reset my hub, and checked my area and there is no issue at all. My WiFi is working from my hub but yet its booting me out of Destiny 2 and not just that but the chat parties on PS5 itself

  • realjackoh187
Jack Kelly (@realjackoh187) reported from Widnes, England

@virginmedia Just wifi, the phones tablets tv all just going off randomly. I have now booked a technician but I have been doing the troubleshooting for 2 days and its saying the issue is being fixed. Its only today they have said to send a technician

  • timmycooke
Tim Cooke 🇺🇦 (@timmycooke) reported from Wigan, England

@virginmedia Both wired and wireless. We've had 8 engineers out, a rewire, new hub and still endless drop outs. Was told finally it was an upload issue from the amp that supplied the box on the street. But still we're having issues. The 150 number is joke, make it simple!!!

  • lurkinhead
Martin Travis (@lurkinhead) reported from Birkenhead, England

@BlaggerBly @virginmedia Seems to be Wirral wide at least, and I think Liverpool is affected too. VM should be massively compensating their affected customers for this, but they hide behind their terms and conditions where they only deem it reasonable to compensate if the outage last more than 3 days!

  • ZachcloseYT
zach close YT 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈 (@ZachcloseYT) reported from St Helens, England

Before covid came you was brilliant @virginmedia but ever since then you have been really **** and if it not sorted by next Sunday we are leaving you it literally 2023 and you still got **** service

  • davetarl
Dave Tarleton 💙 (@davetarl) reported from Wallasey, England

@virginmedia I want to cancel my contract as it is at the end. Twice now I have been kicked off the chat whilst waiting. This is unacceptable. I can't ring at present so the chat is ideal to run in the background. I just want to press a button that says end the contract!

  • EmmaZhaan64
Emma (@EmmaZhaan64) reported from Roby, England

@virginmedia All internet is down, wireless and wired; the hub light is white and it’s a Hub 3.0.

  • lurkinhead
Martin Travis (@lurkinhead) reported from Birkenhead, England

@virginmedia There's no point raising a complaint is there, as you won't comprnsate? Other reputable oroviders offer a back-up 4 or 5g device to kick in if their main broadband goes down, to keep the service running. Not VM though - it's just all really poor customer service innit?

  • realjackoh187
Jack Kelly (@realjackoh187) reported from Widnes, England

@virginmedia Visit was fine replaced wifi. I was never out of Internet completely like it says only your compensation page, but it was equally as bad since my step daughter had online training to do which couldn't be done at all. My children also were not able to do homework.

  • CallyRaven
Carol Rowles (@CallyRaven) reported from Westhoughton, England

@virginmedia I seem to be the first one to report them, still saying intermittent problems in my area. Can't get to speak to anyone on phone, I rely on the Internet.

  • agarnett
Adam (@agarnett) reported from Wigan, England

@virginmedia Is there any way to tell if there are signal issues in your area? This says i should get 4g indoors and outdoors, i dont though i can barely access mobile internet from my house. Last 3 months have been awful

  • sunnysenguk
    Sunny Singh (@sunnysenguk) reported

@virginmedia just spent a hour with 2 advisors who have made me feel like disconnection is the best option with VM, I have raised a complaint but I don’t feel confident that it will come to a resolution after my experience. Shame to end my contract after 15 years as a customer 🤬

  • Irksome73
    Irksome (@Irksome73) reported

@OliverGMcManus @virginmedia They have always been the worst. I had a fault when I was with them in London - due to someone cutting their fibre backbone - 16 weeks by which time I’d reversed engineers their own network and had a solution that worked for weeks.

  • ross_biagini
    London leaver (@ross_biagini) reported

@virginmedia internet keeps going off in Amersham Please fix it

  • MelinaKakoulid7
    Melina Kakoulidis (@MelinaKakoulid7) reported

I staff @virginmedia customer services have taken leave of their senses. I called and the lady asked me how much is your bill every month as part of the verification process I said £27 a month she asked for my email address which I gave and she again asked for my price?

  • carefreeleon
    ۟ (@carefreeleon) reported

@virginmedia Intermittent or no signal in my area for weeks. It's not acceptable to be paying the amount we do and be limited to 10 MBPS. If we didn't have to dig up the driveway to change service, we'd of already done so.

  • OliverGMcManus
    Ollie McManus (@OliverGMcManus) reported

Took five hours and eight minutes to get @virginmedia to uphold a basic consumer right. Contract successfully cancelled (eventually) but have to raise a separate complaint to get a refund for the seven weeks without internet. An ice cold drink is calling.

  • JonnieBoyRacer
    Jonnie (@JonnieBoyRacer) reported

@OliverGMcManus @virginmedia That can’t be right. Send a letter complaining the contract has been frustrated by the lack of service

  • DrBaalt
    ♛ 𝔹𝕒𝕒𝕝𝕥 (@DrBaalt) reported

@footballontnt What’s the deal with TNT Sports and Virgin media and the HBO app. Signed up. But the app doesn’t allow access. And for that reason I’ll be gone in 30 days. This time forever. Such a ridiculous solution. Doesn’t work. So it’s gone and so is my business. Forever.

  • _Alfista
    ... - ..- 𝚂𝚝𝚞 (@_Alfista) reported

@ArrEssVeeTwin @jen_moxon @virginmedia I only signed up last year as Virgin had & still do, the fastest broadband in area & I needed to handle the data, I knew this day would come though with their customer services.

  • MelinaKakoulid7
    Melina Kakoulidis (@MelinaKakoulid7) reported

I think the @virginmedia customer services agents are like computers rather than human beings they are unable to have any conversations and comprehend on what is being said to them by a human being. They are working from a script and are unable to deviate from a script.
