@virginmedia A member of the family has dementia and now gone into care home so need to cancel the policy, we have power of attorney which should be noted from last time we sent it to you but they wouldn’t help as they said they can’t deal with us for this situation

Awful customer service from @virginmedia. Sent a letter recorded delivery on the 11th to close my account but it’s still not been processed! Operator I spoke to today says they can’t verify I did this so charged me notice from today. What a joke! Glad to be leaving!

I wonder what would happen if I hadn’t called today to check the status of my account? When would they process it? Would it been in another month’s time, charging me even more? Poor service from @virginmedia - very hard to close any account & really feels like money grabbing.

@virginmedia No not at all. They should’ve be obliged to fork out for phone calls from their pension that you don’t have the staff to answer. Do you have an email address we can contact please? Otherwise we’ve no choice but to cancel by mail and that obviously could cause problems itself.
