@virginmedia An engineer has tested it ,it's fine. my partner has same device as me but has Android 07 not 08 and she has the same problem. It was fine till a couple of months ago. I think your hub is the problem ,waiting for a solution! 😡

@virginmedia I rebooted it yesterday and a number of times previously. I’m now in receipt of a Cat. 6 Ethernet cable which has improved wired speeds - I’d suggest these should come as standard - but wireless speeds are still slow and unreliable.

@virginmedia No reported issues. Used the guide before - it’s why I moved the router. Poor signal is because I moved the PS4 5ft across the room. But it’s less than 5m away from the router in a straight line - obscured only by the floor and the tv is sits next to.

@virginmedia @virginmedia engineer has been out done tests everything fine , except the Wi-Fi cutting out . Which you say is because of Android 08 . My partner has same device as me but has Android 07 and she has the same problem. It was fine till a couple of months ago I think it's your hub

@virginmedia any internet/DNS problems going on in Northampton? Me and 2 friends trying to do some gaming and download speed keeps dropping to below 1MB and ping keeps spiking to about 500ms. Not a pc or cabling issue for any of us and all of us have rebooted virgin home hubs.

@virginmedia The Virgin number answers as unobtainable, the PAC code is still valid. NOT happy. Thanks for any help. I intend to go to O2 shop tomorrow armed with O2 confirmation email and obtain new SIM with correct number - unless you can do port with immediate effect - thanks

@virginmedia Suggest you are more careful in future with which business partners you work with. @O2 abject customer service on this- four days to port a number, asking me to mess about changing phones. WHAT is happening please and WHEN will the port happen? Thanks.

@virginmedia Still no further. A lady has put both our mobiles and email down for a area manager to contact us. Did say that someone had tried to ring but neither of us had a missed call or an email. So hoping the team will arrive tomorrow to sort blockage as it is the next date given.
