    Hi @virginmedia, my dear old mum has been on the phone for 20 minutes because her broadband has gone down. Your advisors keep saying to reset the hub and disconnecting before it's sorted. Any ideas? Still using the crap one you sent years ago despite her recontracting

    @virginmedia Hi Just to let U know I got a automated Landline phone message 2day from Phone number 020 7097 1695 Saying to press Option 1 Saying That my internet provider service will disconnect my services within 24 hours it’s a scam I didn’t even attempt to press option 1.

    @virginmedia I want to cancel my contract as it is at the end. Twice now I have been kicked off the chat whilst waiting. This is unacceptable. I can't ring at present so the chat is ideal to run in the background. I just want to press a button that says end the contract!

    @VirginMedia Received message. Now not accepting my email address. I have one only. My problem is with the remote control which is activated by pressing 2 buttons when they light up. Have had nothing but trouble with one remote for one TV. Your communication us not helpful.

    @virginmedia @virginhelp We have just signed up for a broadband/phone package. We were recommended by a friend. They never gave us a code though as they are a pensioner. We were told to simply give her details in but the operative would not accept. Can we still get a code after?

    The scammer who just rang our landline, claiming to be from "Virgin Media" and saying there was a problem with my internet may have just received the full force of my wrath and ire. And, genuinely, no ***** were given.

    @virginmedia To be honest, the issue is an intermittent fault. My wife works from home and the broadband just drops out numerous times a day. Then comes back on. It’s only worthwhile doing a remote test if it’s when it drops out. Otherwise all will look fine

    @virginmedia Hello, my broadband was supposed to be installed on 6th Sept but your engineer only did half a job and ****** off. When I call up to find out when you're coming back to finish my installation, I can't get a straight answer and nobody calls me back! Shite service!

    @MartinSLewis The only effective way to haggle is to just say you're cancelling. With car insurance particularly it's an annual timewasting ritual where they hike the renewal for no reason at all, you call to cancel and they immediately fold and come back with a better offer. Also works with Virginmedia when they make a tiny change to packages and hike them.

    @virginmedia Yes. It was the bereavement team that have the most awful and length process. So I’m doing it online. But I still had to wait on the phone and have the cancellation of contract spiel even though we aren’t cancelling. Just a poor process and no consideration for the customer

    @NaomiRedman4 @O2 @virginmedia I had this problem I put in my email address & password which I use but it failed so tried again email then clicked forgot password once I reset that and was sent a verification code once I did that I was back in maybe try that.

    @virginmedia That just doesn't work. It is hugely painful ringing you up or playing blind darts to see which one of 20 accounts a text relates to. Just change things and start putting a postcode or account number or part account number in your texts
