  • YODELhell YODELhell (@YODELhell) reported from Ellesmere Port, England

@virginmedia @Ramsey255Joanne HOW DARE you keep telling customers to contact YOUR chosen courier. The contract is between YODEL and Virgin. YODEL, if they even answer, will tell the customer to contact the sender. YOU chose them. YOU deal with them.

  • DCBlue11 Dave Carson (@DCBlue11) reported from Liverpool, England

@virginmedia @virginmedia engineer has been out done tests everything fine , except the Wi-Fi cutting out . Which you say is because of Android 08 . My partner has same device as me but has Android 07 and she has the same problem. It was fine till a couple of months ago I think it's your hub

  • Lyntrick L҉y҉n҉n҉ K҉i҉l҉p҉a҉t҉r҉i҉c҉k҉ (@Lyntrick) reported from Garston, England

@virginmedia I think it was the bad weather we had last night affecting the signal. The first time I rang up the lady I spoke to was ok then she asked me to get Google up on another device so I went to get it when I got back she had gone. I told her to hang on while I got the device 1/3

  • YODELhell YODELhell (@YODELhell) reported from Ellesmere Port, England

@Loddonbrewery @virginmedia That’s because YODEL’s contract is with the sender, Virgin. They’ll tell the customer (you) to contact the sender. Virgin keeps telling customers to contact YODEL. They know that’s wrong, yet keep doing it.

  • DCBlue11 Dave Carson (@DCBlue11) reported from Liverpool, England

@virginmedia The last time I was talking to a man I explained all that had happened and said it is 1.30am here and I want to get it sorted and he hung up. It seems to be working ok now so that's why I think its the weather but I must say you need to revise your customer support

  • YODELhell YODELhell (@YODELhell) reported from Ellesmere Port, England

@virginmedia @natashaoneill_ We’re getting sick of saying this. It’s NOT the customer’s responsibility to contact YODEL. Virgin hired them. Contract is with Virgin. All YODEL will do is tell the customer to contact Virgin. Stop lying to customers.

  • DCBlue11 Dave Carson (@DCBlue11) reported from Liverpool, England

@virginmedia An engineer has tested it ,it's fine. my partner has same device as me but has Android 07 not 08 and she has the same problem. It was fine till a couple of months ago. I think your hub is the problem ,waiting for a solution! 😡

@virginmedia I rebooted it yesterday and a number of times previously. I’m now in receipt of a Cat. 6 Ethernet cable which has improved wired speeds - I’d suggest these should come as standard - but wireless speeds are still slow and unreliable.

The @virginmedia strategy for retaining customers seems to be not to allow them to cancel. Can't cancel online/ via email & they don't answer phone (on hold for 1 hour plus a couple of times) Wrote a letter to address provided on their website and no response to that either.

  • Quinnaay Luke Quinn (@Quinnaay) reported
