@virginmedia customers suffering the usual standard of service from virgin Media again. Denial of service should see customers compensated, customer service appears to be the lowest priority.

@vmbusiness at this current time working from home under so much stress and pressure the last thing you need is your broadband playing up. This is not acceptable we ate paying for a service which is currently nonexistent. Wifi goes down every 5 min. Please can you look into this
-
Scott Carroll (@scottcvrroll) reported from Liverpool, England
@JacobAlderHam @virginmedia Shocking isn’t it mate, I’ve not been able to use streaming devices or gaming devices for a few weeks without constant spikes and buffering. I pay for 200 down and receive about 40... so much packet loss. Shambles.

Skippy Vinyls (@SkippyVinyls) reported
@JR_Dickenson I'd had a Richard Harris bookmark on my VirginMedia box for about 18 months in the hope of catching it. I love how the bad guy is Freddie Jones who would later turn up as weird incidental characters in several David Lynch movies.
-
Rainbow (@RainbowBee7) reported
@virginmedia No I haven’t but my daughter is with Virgin too and having lots of problems too. Today (Friday) has been really bad in Raunds, Northamptonshire.
-
Havster (@the_havster) reported
@_chrismcintosh Similar issues with Sky Q, eventually got someone in to run CAT5 cabling and tuned off WiFi on the Sky boxes. Problem solved until the Virgin router stopped issuing an IP address. @SkyUK and @virginmedia a total joke individually and together a complete ****-up. Shameful !!
-
Steven Michael Macdonald (@NowHearThis1) reported from South Shore, England
@virginmedia Can your company please start putting out adequate information directly to your customers please, instead of assuming we should go looking for answers. Believe it or not people deal with the truth far better than these days would tell us. Why is the network failing?

Been told we will get called back and then refused help from anyone. Advice for future @virginmedia customers. DONT JOIN. Just look at the reviews online. Wish we had. Fix this now.
-
Stephen Hampson (@StephenHampson) reported
@virginmedia Only paying too much for an unreliable service.
-
Bethany Riddle (@hellenicvvitch) reported
@virginmedia is there a reason you physically don’t let customers leave your services. THREE times we have been told it’s done and lied to and charged more when we’ve already swapped providers. Customer service is appalling and your staff have threatened us and hung up on us.
-
Nick McNally (@NickMcNally47) reported
@virginmedia @virginmedia That’s not very helpful. Your service checker does not provide sufficient information. Acceptable customer service would be for you to provide a more specific response to my questions - what is the problem and what are the anticipated timelines for a fix.
