No service in CH44 for 2 days last week, back on for 2, then off again today. No text updates but service status says a fix by 20.00. Won't happen though will it? @virginmedia
-
Jemima (@JemimaCamhs) reported from Garston, England
@virginmedia Hi, will this continued investment mean finally getting signal in my area? It’s a central area and the signal is awful. Thanks
-
Elaine Brown (@laineypb2109) reported from Birkenhead, England
@virginmedia 15% increase, don't think so mate. I'll be in touch via phone shortly with a cancellation notice. So much for long serving customer loyalty
-
Lesley Murray (@les_murray71) reported from Wallasey, England
@virginmedia Yes got the update thanks but not helpful receiving a text to say issue resolved, service has been off for 14 hours now, any background to reason why? Its a massive area to be out with no explanation
-
Lesley Murray (@les_murray71) reported from Wallasey, England
@virginmedia Thats just an update to say they are dealing with the issue, people want to know what the issue was and why it is taking so long to repair, there is a continuous extension to repair time and your customers at least deserve detailed information
-
Rebekah Jones (@RebekahP1nk) reported from Prenton, England
@virginmedia soooo what's wrong this time?? You are just about up the cost to astronomical amounts and now the broadband goes down again ..
-
Matt Attwood (@mattwood1702) reported from Liverpool, England

-
Andy McGill (@andrewjmcgill) reported from St Helens, England
@virginmedia I have been without broadband all day, a day after you sent me a letter about price increases, an increase for what, even poorer service!!!!
-
Martin Travis (@lurkinhead) reported from Birkenhead, England
@les_murray71 @virginmedia Still saying 12.05 on the app Lesley .... have they put that new estimated fix time out elsewhere? 😱
-
Lesley Murray (@les_murray71) reported from Wallasey, England
@virginmedia Yes got the update thanks, but not helpful receiving texts to say issue resolved, services been off for 14 hours now, any background to the issue?
-
Martin Travis (@lurkinhead) reported from Birkenhead, England
@virginmedia Okay, but with respect, the problem is your call centre say different stuff every time, which inevitably bears no resemblance to reality. Later, VM deny those conversations ever took place and there is no written evidence to back up what was agreed. That's what I am after here?
-
Berni Turner 🖤🌹 (@BLTwitchy) reported from Liverpool, England
@virginmedia No I’m not an idiot it was during covid I’ll go back and find it . The chief execs office rang me personally as I’m disabled
-
Jamie McLoughlin (@jmcloughlin) reported from Liverpool, England

Lesley Murray (@les_murray71) reported from Wallasey, England

-
Sarah Hill (@Its_Sal_Queen) reported from Liverpool, England
Would love to be able to start work @virginmedia, but the Internet is down.
-
Martin Travis (@lurkinhead) reported from Birkenhead, England
@virginmedia There's no point raising a complaint is there, as you won't comprnsate? Other reputable oroviders offer a back-up 4 or 5g device to kick in if their main broadband goes down, to keep the service running. Not VM though - it's just all really poor customer service innit?
-
Jonesy (@RWBJ1997) reported from Liverpool, England
@virginmedia your customer service team is proper shite. Your router is in the bin outside ours
-
lloyd #utft (@111O1O1O11O) reported from Wallasey, England
@virginmedia I only worked as a network Ops mgr for nearly 10 years, so I guess I wouldn't understand network issues and connectivity, really. Or service level agreements. Or teaching my grandmother how to suck eggs.
-
Lesley Murray (@les_murray71) reported from Wallasey, England
@virginmedia @joshyw0shy Its the whole of the Wirral by the sound of it, no statement from Virgin, just telling hundreds of customers to check for an outage, only have to look at their twitter to see how many of us have been told the same thing

@virginmedia Literally the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. Shielding Cancer patients stuck with no services and the earliest they can send an engineer out is 5 days away. Asked to speak to a manager and not one person would come to the phone. #Shameful
-
dragonfish 🇬🇧🇪🇺🇮🇹 🏏 (@discobabe76) reported
@virginmedia There was a problem with my IP address/drivers... I've since managed to fix it thanks to some seriously geeky actions! Lol Why isn't the number working though? Also my hub is still showing yellow light why is that?

@virginmedia You asked me to contact you to fix an issue but there are no options to do so. Phone number, when I found it, just led to a bot. Poor service.

@virginmedia I’ve just done the test. It says there are no known issues, I’ve run a speed test on 3 different devices. My phone was running at 212mbps, my laptop at 4mbps and my games console at 19mbps. No consistency?

@virginmedia We have done everything possible that had previously been advised by you and even with a booster that u are actually making us pay extra for the WiFi is a disgrace, rather than go round in circles I would like to cancel full package tv aswell
-
DF25 (@DF2517) reported
@virginmedia I submitted a complaint. Your response was laughable. Now send me a letter confirming you can do no more so I can take you to the ombudsman. Disgraceful service
