Sarah Hill (@Its_Sal_Queen) reported from Liverpool, EnglandWould love to be able to start work @virginmedia, but the Internet is down.
-
Elaine Brown (@laineypb2109) reported from Birkenhead, England@virginmedia 15% increase, don't think so mate. I'll be in touch via phone shortly with a cancellation notice. So much for long serving customer loyalty
-
CryptoDan2k (@CryptoDan2k) reported from Roby, England@virginmedia I'm guessing they don't work Saturday Sunday, so that will take us from Thursday to some point Monday for a resolution? Would it be quick if I phone up, send me a case ref number or something?
-
Mrs Smith (@SmithysMaud) reported from St Helens, England@virginmedia are an absolute joke. Was told to call back at half 6 and guess what? They’re shut! And again, no engineer visit. Getting cancelled 1st thing in the morning. Over a month of total loss of service, piss take. #avoid

-
Lesley Murray (@les_murray71) reported from Wallasey, England@virginmedia Yes got the update thanks but not helpful receiving a text to say issue resolved, service has been off for 14 hours now, any background to reason why? Its a massive area to be out with no explanation
-
Mrs Smith (@SmithysMaud) reported from St Helens, England@virginmedia No, they just left. Rang your customer service they are now telling me the problem is internal. I’ve had no internet since July, no tv since August. It’s beyond a joke now. 5 visits I’ve had.
-
Mrs Smith (@SmithysMaud) reported from St Helens, EnglandDay 42 of no service from @virginmedia. Engineer meant to be coming again today, think I’ve more chance of a unicorn showing up to be fair. 🦄
-
Chris Wright (@ChrisWAzure) reported from Liverpool, England@virginmedia ..i don't know what manager in any way of life won't speak to a customer! I called back and spoke to another member of the team, who has logged it as a complaint, a manager is calling me today and he is looking what he can do for a 93 year old. Being forced to pay £105 a month...
-
Mrs Smith (@SmithysMaud) reported from St Helens, England@jenwahkiddles @virginmedia Pity they didn’t do it for us, had no tv or broadband for over 3 months and can’t even get the compensation they owe us, plus the direct debits they took knowing we had total loss of service. Shambolic company.
-
CryptoDan2k (@CryptoDan2k) reported from Roby, England@virginmedia No, not really as you have reliability issues in my home which I believe is part the router and part the virgin line coming into my home.
-
Martin Travis (@lurkinhead) reported from Birkenhead, England@BlaggerBly @virginmedia Seems to be Wirral wide at least, and I think Liverpool is affected too. VM should be massively compensating their affected customers for this, but they hide behind their terms and conditions where they only deem it reasonable to compensate if the outage last more than 3 days!
-
Maureen StewartJones (@supergran22) reported from Eccleston, England@virginmedia Thanks. Very frustrating and time consuming. Spent whole afternoon trying to sort it. Twitter not really the best way to resolve issues especially with an 82 year old.
-
Jack Kelly (@realjackoh187) reported from Widnes, England@virginmedia Visit was fine replaced wifi. I was never out of Internet completely like it says only your compensation page, but it was equally as bad since my step daughter had online training to do which couldn't be done at all. My children also were not able to do homework.
-
Tim Jackson (@TimmyJ1972) reported from Liverpool, England@virginmedia Yes I’ve been told this before… yet it never happened when my bill was generated. Let’s see eh..
-
Mrs Smith (@SmithysMaud) reported from St Helens, England@virginmedia Nobody can help me, they just keep asking for patience. They’ve had since august to fix it. It’s unacceptable.
-
Mrs Smith (@SmithysMaud) reported from St Helens, England@virginmedia They’ve been today apparently to do the repull and nothing has changed. Still no service. I won’t be paying this month as I’m not paying for nothing.
-
Martin Travis (@lurkinhead) reported from Birkenhead, England@virginmedia Okay, but with respect, the problem is your call centre say different stuff every time, which inevitably bears no resemblance to reality. Later, VM deny those conversations ever took place and there is no written evidence to back up what was agreed. That's what I am after here?
-
Mrs Smith (@SmithysMaud) reported from St Helens, England@virginmedia I reported a total loss of service on 31/8. It was finally fixed this morning. After no shows, lies and weeks between visits. They have not even offered to cover the cost of my last 3 dd’s which I wish I hadn’t paid as I had no service whatsoever
-
Gary Kilroy (@Gary_Kilroy) reported from Liverpool, EnglandHaving the choice of the awful customer service of @virginmedia or the @bt_uk network which in my area might as well be two tin cans tied together with string is great!

Paul Turner™ (Personal) (@PaulTurner140) reported@virginmedia @1StaceyBowman Don’t waste your time Stacey. I’ve been waiting four days for a proper interaction with them and have sent four “private messages” as requested. They simply ask you to DM them to keep their atrocious service and your full complaint from public view.

GW 🔰🏴 (@GW_Mktg) reportedSecond guess, for @virginmedia… the classic ‘cut the wrong wire’ then a lot of head scratching to work out where the problem was?
-
TubzNetz (@TubzNetz) reported@virginmedia smart move switching from analogue to fibre landlines during business hours, causing broadband to reset, what retard in change control approved that in statement of work?

Ali Dalton (@alidalton) reportedIn 2017 I was the first designer at a UK fintech startup now valued at $100m+, with 500+ employees across 60 countries. It was just me, two founders, and two others in a room in London. The work wasn't a redesign. It was branding and the early flows for a payments platform. Nobody in that room called it design strategy. It was five people deciding how the product should work before there was a product. Then I spent almost a decade in the corporate world. Citibank, Mercedes, NatWest, Virgin Media. Products used by 50M+ people. £11M NPV on one project. That world taught me systems thinking, rigour, how to make a decision that survives fifteen stakeholders and a compliance review. It also taught me that six months to ship a signup flow is not a law of physics. It's a byproduct of the org chart. Most funded founders assume those two things come as a package. That if you want big company craft you have to accept big company timelines. You don't. The thinking travels. The process doesn't have to. I didn't leave because the work was bad. It was the best training I could have asked for. I left because I wanted the room of five again. Take everything those companies taught me and run it my way. No six week kickoff. No deck to justify a deck. A way founders can actually work with. So I started my studio last year. 5+ projects since across Fintech, publishing, agri-tech, and two founders launching their brands from zero. It's graft. But it's my graft now. If you're funded, building, and the product works but the numbers don't - that's the exact problem I spend my days on.

Sam Sheehan (@SamanthaJane_H) reported@virginmedia WHY DO YOUR CONTRACTORS NEVER SHOW UP?! 3 WEEKS OF NO BROADBAND AT THIS POINT AND NO SIGN OF ANYONE FIXING IT BECAUSE YOUR STAFF DONT TURN UP
-
kaz (@girlieb71) reported@virginmedia I've had 2 emails now asking me to verify my identity but it seems I'm being hacked as the person is miles away from me, I've checked my security and it says I set up a passkey last week which I haven't, can you help
