No service in CH44 for 2 days last week, back on for 2, then off again today. No text updates but service status says a fix by 20.00. Won't happen though will it? @virginmedia

  • BLTwitchy Berni Turner 🖤🌹 (@BLTwitchy) reported from Liverpool, England

@virginmedia No I’m not an idiot it was during covid I’ll go back and find it . The chief execs office rang me personally as I’m disabled

  • TheWiganParky Laser Lux, Wigan. (@TheWiganParky) reported from Haydock, England

@virginmedia If my bill went down with my speed, I wouldn't mind.

  • les_murray71 Lesley Murray (@les_murray71) reported from Wallasey, England

@virginmedia @joshyw0shy Its the whole of the Wirral by the sound of it, no statement from Virgin, just telling hundreds of customers to check for an outage, only have to look at their twitter to see how many of us have been told the same thing

  • les_murray71 Lesley Murray (@les_murray71) reported from Wallasey, England

@virginmedia Yes got the update thanks but not helpful receiving a text to say issue resolved, service has been off for 14 hours now, any background to reason why? Its a massive area to be out with no explanation

  • les_murray71 Lesley Murray (@les_murray71) reported from Wallasey, England

@MarkKav15119614 @virginmedia Well my bills ain't getting paid today so will get charges, anything i try to do on apps / chrome not working, twitter on and off

  • JemimaCamhs Jemima (@JemimaCamhs) reported from Garston, England

@virginmedia Hi, will this continued investment mean finally getting signal in my area? It’s a central area and the signal is awful. Thanks

  • timmycooke Tim Cooke 🇺🇦 (@timmycooke) reported from Wigan, England

@virginmedia Both wired and wireless. We've had 8 engineers out, a rewire, new hub and still endless drop outs. Was told finally it was an upload issue from the amp that supplied the box on the street. But still we're having issues. The 150 number is joke, make it simple!!!

  • 111O1O1O11O lloyd #utft (@111O1O1O11O) reported from Wallasey, England

@virginmedia I only worked as a network Ops mgr for nearly 10 years, so I guess I wouldn't understand network issues and connectivity, really. Or service level agreements. Or teaching my grandmother how to suck eggs.

  • lurkinhead Martin Travis (@lurkinhead) reported from Birkenhead, England

@virginmedia Okay, but with respect, the problem is your call centre say different stuff every time, which inevitably bears no resemblance to reality. Later, VM deny those conversations ever took place and there is no written evidence to back up what was agreed. That's what I am after here?

  • les_murray71 Lesley Murray (@les_murray71) reported from Wallasey, England

@virginmedia Thats just an update to say they are dealing with the issue, people want to know what the issue was and why it is taking so long to repair, there is a continuous extension to repair time and your customers at least deserve detailed information

  • laineypb2109 Elaine Brown (@laineypb2109) reported from Birkenhead, England

@virginmedia 15% increase, don't think so mate. I'll be in touch via phone shortly with a cancellation notice. So much for long serving customer loyalty

  • LindzDDub Lindz Devine (@LindzDDub) reported from Wigan, England

@virginmedia @virginhelp I've never had this much issue as I have had today. I'm plugged in on ethernet, I've reset my hub, and checked my area and there is no issue at all. My WiFi is working from my hub but yet its booting me out of Destiny 2 and not just that but the chat parties on PS5 itself

  • andrewjmcgill Andy McGill (@andrewjmcgill) reported from St Helens, England

@virginmedia I have been without broadband all day, a day after you sent me a letter about price increases, an increase for what, even poorer service!!!!

  • cambo691 Cambo (@cambo691) reported from Birkenhead, England

@les_murray71 @virginmedia This and their woeful customer service is why we binned them off mate

  • lurkinhead Martin Travis (@lurkinhead) reported from Birkenhead, England

@les_murray71 @virginmedia Still saying 12.05 on the app Lesley .... have they put that new estimated fix time out elsewhere? 😱

  • DaveMbootlebuck DM 🦌 (@DaveMbootlebuck) reported from Seaforth, England

@virginmedia No. Can’t get through. I’ve just submitted a complaint

  • NaffDaff RWM (@NaffDaff) reported

@virginmedia I have also tried to add the chime manually using the MAC address to connect to the 2.4Ghz only, this doesn't work

  • SteveGinge19 Steve 🔴 (@SteveGinge19) reported

@virginmedia Yah, no outages. We have been here before though, iv complained and you unthrottled it then a few weeks later yous throttle it again. It’s not fair people pay good money for a service and you purposely throttle it.

  • andrewpm1 TheCaptain (@andrewpm1) reported

@virginmedia All I want to do is watch the bloody Grand Prix on the service I have been paying and presumably continue to pay for. I haven’t got the time or inclination to sit in another queue to hear the same ****. Thanks, but no thanks.

  • kropotkin3000 Gregory (@kropotkin3000) reported

@ChampagneDosser Virgin Media. It's horribly overpriced. Reliability can be fine for months and then it can be days of annoying random outages. Customer service has got better in recent years at least. Upload speeds could be better, but that's the UK for you.

  • BarryBscho Barry Schofield (@BarryBscho) reported

@virginmedia Yes it is for the order I placed. The man never came to install the faceplate. The company they use are total incompetents that was the 13th time they promised to come but never did. I have the kit here but no fibre connection.

  • DJDanny88Gaming DJDanny88 (@DJDanny88Gaming) reported

@Cloudx4Omega If it's from Virgin Media or BT; they only care about money than spending it; I mean, their tech could be beaten by O2, and that's just as terrible to use xD

  • JokVape Jok (@JokVape) reported

@virginmedia Estimated fix? I ring the helpline and I’m greeted with the same automated message for the past 2 weeks that it’s a complicated ******* issue, company’s a joke, **** your bills and **** your service! 0 customer support I’ll go elsewhere

  • CrispyHawk mccrispy (@CrispyHawk) reported

@virginmedia I have an intermittent (at best) internet connection & "run a test" returns "You have our new Hub 4. Unfortunately we can't run a diagnostic test on the Hub 4 right now." /This a year after I got the hub/ Solution? " Get help from our Community" WHAT!? WHAAAT!

  • jawaid_mr WRESTLING (@jawaid_mr) reported
