@virginmedia I get the same result hard wired with Ethernet too. It’s not a wifi issue. Also I’m not sure how wifi would decide to ignore an increase in speed and decide to limit itself to the old speed coincidentally. Someone on your end hasn’t enabled the faster speed to my property.

@virginmedia Hi John. Still no resolution I’m afraid. It’s getting closer to next bill date. Which BTW I’ve received two bills for. One at £27.49 and the other £113.00 and a double bill request which is laughable! I still don’t get why the next gen box is influencing my request. Today please

@virginmedia we have been trying to arrange our virgin services to be moved to our new house since 23/11/20. We were supposed to get a call back from one of your guys yesterday to help with a self install - no joy. Since yesterday I’ve spent over 3 hours on hold, been.......1/4

@virginmedia There’s no known issues. I shouldn’t have to spend 30 mins on hold trying to get through to you to have an issue corrected that hasn’t been done as part of my contract agreement. Shouldn’t you be able to call customers when you have an agent free who can make outgoing calls?

@SkyHelpTeam We haven’t been booked in. Following some quick and informative enquiries, @virginmedia can install a new service in 3days; yet, a @SkyUK engineer can’t come out to us for over a week? When we pay a monthly small fortune, this all feels like terrible customer service

@virginmedia The text messaging team that says it aims to respond within 4 hours but hasn’t responded to me since 11am yesterday? Basically I have no option now but to sit on hold in a queue for 30+ mins to fix a problem you’ve created by not upgrading me. Your customer service is awful.

Nearly a week after signing up to a new contract with @virginmedia they’ve still not upgraded my speed to what we agreed to. Their Twitter support refuses to acknowledge the issue and my complaint hasn’t been picked up yet. I guess they don’t care once a contract is agreed.

Great work from @virginmedia, your contract has expired, we want you to stay as a customer, we’ll give you the best deal out there! Give them a call, sorry can’t help, you’re on the best package, but we want to charge you £40 a month more than a new customer! #shitshow

@nickleeland @virginmedia I asked to speak to someone that could help and got “my supervisor is on 14 day isolation”. Ok put him on the phone as I’m guessing he can work from home? Computer says no! Poor poor service!

@virginmedia This is the exact type of poor service I received when I called customer service. The package I am currently on is £89 for a new customer, but £129 for a loyal customer. The response back was “that’s all I can do”. Your response is almost as bad “don’t like it, raise a complaint”

@virginmedia The hold times aren’t the issue. I’d wait happily if I got an answer at the end. The issue is being hung up on after an hour then having a call answered only to have to listen to dead air for over 30 minutes while whoever is supposed to be helping has forgotten to logout ....1/2

@virginmedia ....before going to lunch. Your system is set to terminate unanswered calls after just over an hour. This is much more enraging than having to wait in a queue. We’re British, it’s what we do. We DO NOT HANG UP on people. It is beyond rude. #rude #virginmediasuck #stillnointernet

the shittest customer service award has to go to @VirginMediaCorp @virginmedia @Ofcom how many times do their advisers say they've made a note on the account only not to have done, so you then end up having to explain the same thing to 3 different people the next time (on & on)

@virginmedia The engineer came out as we are getting 2mbps instead of 200. He checked the hub and did everything he could but still couldn't get the speed up and said he would get the outside cable changed. Nearly 2 weeks down the line we're still using our data package as this isn't working

@virginmedia When you click on Virgin Complaints you get a msg “Oh, ******.We can't find that page.Maybe the link you clicked is broken or you typed in the wrong address.Perhaps the page doesn't exist any more.Or maybe it's just a glitch in the matrix.” Good plan to not respond to complaints

@virginmedia No. It is not the case. Perhaps the automated sentence case made it difficult. But the message rolled over two posts was supposed to read “I’m after a refund for services I’m not getting and the problems solved.”

@virginmedia I don’t know what to do to get my issues resolved. Your call centre advisors pass me around all their departments or hang up on me. I logged a formal complaint and your complaints team don’t respond in the 28 day timeframe. Where next?
