Virgin Media Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • Holty_74 Nick holt (@Holty_74) reported

@virginmedia I had an engineer booked for tomorrow but I got an sms from you saying that youd cancelled it while you investigated a network issue....and that was 6 hours ago...

  • TashaCorcoran Natasha Saint (@TashaCorcoran) reported

@virginmedia Yesterday - was promised another call back by 2pm today & still nothing! We are having to chase for call backs after being promised refunds for weeks, and it just isn’t acceptable. It’s also in my husbands name so I can’t chase! I expected far more from your customer service.

  • RamPillai Ram (@RamPillai) reported

@virginmedia I think I worked out the issue. My VM login is for Virgin Mobile not broadband. Mobile customers are not eligible?

  • 1Parz Andy Parslow - P6 (@1Parz) reported

@virginmedia Tried last night and kept being cut off…the original faults have had complaints raised and the billing issue also has had a complaint raised as we received the emails for this.

  • BlackFluffyR ボッサx2 (@BlackFluffyR) reported

@virginmedia Called already. Then your engineer told me “The estimated repair time is 22 NOV 2021 09:00. Do regret the inconvenience. ——but we cannot guarantee a stable connection until the outage is fixed. I have also registered you for compensation for loss of services. HELPLESS

  • faceofboe Gillian (@faceofboe) reported

@virginmedia It will cause extreme inconvenience. I'm supposed to be presenting in a conference that day. Less than a week's notice of no internet service for a full day is outrageous. How can you think your response represents customer 'service'?

  • jennielees Jennie Lees (@jennielees) reported

@virginmedia Thanks, however I don't feel these fees are in good faith given how your customer onboarding is so well designed to have customers incur them. Will be sending a complaint (by post, gosh, it's 2021!). Not my fault you don't serve my address, I wish you did!

  • VanHelSiingh Bəäŕđĕď Đřåğøñ (@VanHelSiingh) reported

@virginmedia So i basically have to wait until the 22nd with potentially no service, despite being told it will definitely be by 4.15pm, and then may have to wait further given engineer lead times? Actual joke of a service

  • LunchboxLogicYT LunchboxLogic (@LunchboxLogicYT) reported

Another day, another interrupted day of ****** internet thanks to Virgin Media. Tempted to just get rid of my PC for money and **** off streaming and PC gaming altogether. Too frustrating.

  • mikeapollo Mikeapollo (@mikeapollo) reported

@politediscuss @SkyUK As a customer of over 22 years - ironically she's now realised most of her favourite shows are actually free to air anyway. Talked her out of going to Virgin Media, but cancelling Sky and moving to a recordable Freesat box instead seems best going forward.
