@virginmedia I have your smart hub 3, or as I like to call it the dumb dumb 3000. (It's struggles to broadcast a decent connection around a 2 bed flat, so it's been banished to modem mode. (Honestly, it's the worst router ive ever dealt with) 😳
-
TheAspiLawStudent (@LawAspi) reported from Chorley, England
@virginmedia @JTCHANGINGBIZ Whilst they provide a marginally better speeds than competitors their customer service is just non existent, until you say you're leaving..

-
TheAspiLawStudent (@LawAspi) reported from Chorley, England
@virginmedia Yeah, I've done all that (I'm a techy) it's why it's in modem mode and replaced with a capable router. The issue isnt the equipment it's the connection. Without the hub3 I can run upto 900Mbps download and 240mbps upload.
-
TheAspiLawStudent (@LawAspi) reported from Chorley, England
@virginmedia LS, I have and do regularly when ever it seems slow. It varies from 12mbps download to a maximum of 110mbps. However the monthly average is under 60mbps. Which falls well short of my guaranteed speed.
-
David (@DavidWildJnr) reported from Milnrow, England
@virginmedia This is not a fix, this is the ‘fob off’ you have been giving customers for the last 48 hours. This is an a forum and not visible immediately. DO BETTER.
-
David Gardner (@LeylandDavid) reported from Leyland, England
@virginmedia No updated fix time, as it shows all services as green, and can't detect a problem. It asks us to phone you on 151 to do a little more "digging", but the phone line is DOWN. Oh, and the chatbot doesn't deal with landline issues apparently. Now what???
-
Clive Crossley (@CliveCrossley83) reported from Rochdale, England
@virginmedia terrible service!! have been waiting for a response to our request to cancel services since yesterday lunchtime and unable to get through on the phone after waiting over 45 mins Internet constantly going off!!! ridiculous
-
bay (@Baynesi83) reported from Mellor, England
@NadineDorries @virginmedia @O2 Here she is again that glam Nan spouting bollocks that is instantly shot down by ordinary people who seem to actually know facts. She really needs to shut up or just read factual information instead of coming across as an incompetent muppet.
-
David Walton (@Davegas2) reported from Feniscowles, England
@virginmedia When are you going to sort out problem with red button on Sky sports, sometimes on, most times off, ongoing problem.
-
Dean Wainwright (@WainwrightDean) reported from Accrington, England
@virginmedia Thanks for fixing it this morning, I trust given I’d no service for circa 36hrs I’ll see a credit upon my next bill?
-
𝕄𝔸𝕋𝕋𝕐𝔹𝕆𝕆𝕊ℍ (@MATTYB00SH) reported from Burnley, England
@virginmedia Yes it works on my phone browser, but not on laptop, so I'll just continue using that method, thanks. One more question; Why do your customer support agents ask for a security password that I use when speaking to an agent, despite being a new customer and haven't set this up yet
-
David Gardner (@LeylandDavid) reported from Leyland, England
@virginmedia How many more times, the landline is NOT working (no dial tone).
-
TheAspiLawStudent (@LawAspi) reported from Chorley, England
@virginmedia Considering my router is a 1gbps it shouldn't be an issue. However even with wired it'll vary between 15mbps and 110mbps. However our average over a month is 53.6mbps, which is less than half the speed we pay for 😳.

ThirdEyeWide (@awakeandready7) reported
@virginmedia your broadband service in my area has been so poor - over the last month there has been a loss of service every few days. I have complained so many times but your resolutions team are not acknowledging that a DAILY loss of service is not acceptable. Help!
-
Chris Green (@chrisgreen) reported
It has been 11 days since I ported my landline to @virginmedia and they screwed it up, leaving us without a working landline phone. They have done nothing to fix it and won't give us any updates, despite hours on the phone chasing them - utter joke! Please retweet!
-
Michael Bamidele (@BAMIdaily) reported

We were told we needed a new cable installed FOUR YEARS AGO. No one came. WiFi is weak, connection is unreliable. It totally cut out for almost 2 weeks. In that time we had 4 visits from engineers who all reported that they couldn't fix the problem @virginmedia
-
adedamolavictor.sol (@Adedamolavictor) reported
@virginmedia Here we go again telling me to restart the hub. It doesn't work!!!! It's surely not my fault that I am getting 10mb speeds when I paid for 350mb
-
carol (@CarolCarol1971) reported
@virginmedia Yes, it always counts down but when it runs out as in the 24 hours is over. Nothing happens. I tried ringing before but the support staff are still disappointing just like last time.
-
ThirdEyeWide (@awakeandready7) reported
@virginmedia This has been going on for over a month. Repeated faults in the area, with complete service loss for a few hours a day. Why is your complaints team not escalating my 5th complaint about the same issue?
-
Guy Wilson (@Wickywoo79) reported
@virginmedia Your collections team just called me, I asked to speak to someone who could help me, they put me through to the customer retentions team. I explained the situation to them and asked if they could help resolve the issue… they hung up on me. How do I solve this?
