@virginmedia It’s technical issues with the broadband and network stability issues. No one wants to help, I’ve spoken to 3 technicians and no one has offered a resolution. Joke

@virginmedia absolutely rubbish service since we left @skytv and went over to you. Tv/broadband/phone off again on the whole of our estate-not much help to people working from home. Wont be renewing our contract with you, and will be checking how soon we can cancel!

@virginmedia There’s absolutely nothing wrong with the phone, I can travel to different areas and get 4 bars on my phone and it works no problem, the problem is in the area I live. The reception always used to be fine but for quite some time now it’s been awful, I currently have one bar.

@virginmedia I have been trying to get through to customer service for the past two days, the call is usually immediately rejected or I am told the call waiting time is an hour. I have had enough and as soon as I get through I am cancelling my account. 😡

@virginmedia Yes it works on my phone browser, but not on laptop, so I'll just continue using that method, thanks. One more question; Why do your customer support agents ask for a security password that I use when speaking to an agent, despite being a new customer and haven't set this up yet

@neilayates @virginmedia I believe they were the "3rd Party" that also caused the Microsoft 365 outage which killed our session yesterday!

@virginmedia So why then a) does it specify postal and b) not provide a field for mobile number. At best it’s misleading and at worst incompetent

@virginmedia Also given that link is for postal marketing how exactly does that help with phone calls? As it stands your systems are non-compliant

@Jennnnnn_x @virginmedia If they can’t provide the service when you move is this not a frustration of the contract because it is impossible to perform the service therefore in your rights not to pay anything as you would have been willing to keep the contract at your new address
-
Matt Wood
(@playzone1000) reported
@virginmedia Outdoor install not happened because no T junction internal engineer coming Monday can’t do his job and will have no broadband as of Monday beacuse you have put a cease on my SKY broadband and I have spent over 5 hours on hold on and off with no resolution.
-
Laurel Waldron
(@LoveLaurelx) reported
@RanaH004 @virginmedia Yup unfortunately both their customer service and signal are notoriously bad. Had ‘super fast’ installed last summer; was super fast in the room next to the router, zero signal in the rest of the house as soon as that door shut though! Good luck!

@virginmedia What on earth is going on with the service in TW14? It has been dropping out all weekend. I am paying you £57.00 a month and get very little in return.
-
Ian
(@ididitathome) reported
@virginmedia Just tested everything. All is OK. For the min ! But something is not right. The dropouts could be supply and demand. But ? Since the roll out of this City fibre in the area. There seems to be problems. Maybe I am being a little suspicious.

@virginmedia It's back again. But really wasn't happy with how it was handled. I'm coming to expect regular downtime, but to be told it's effectively our problem not an area one and then see on the website that, no, I was right after all is more than a little galling.
