  • nevynxxx
nevynxxx (@nevynxxx) reported from Rawtenstall, England

@virginmedia I understand your call centres are suffering, but 2 hours for text chat support and a phone line that 4 menu levels deep hangs up is not good enough. Massively annoyed and time wasted.

  • MATTYB00SH
𝕄𝔸𝕋𝕋𝕐𝔹𝕆𝕆𝕊ℍ (@MATTYB00SH) reported from Burnley, England

Switching broadband providers from Virgin Media to Sky is proving to be such a bad decision while trying to work from home these last 5 weeks. Multiple connection drops every morning. It's a poor situation when tethering to your phone data is far more reliable. @SkyHelpTeam

  • suziealderton
#hellomynameisSuzie (@suziealderton) reported from Silsden, England

@virginmedia absolutely rubbish service since we left @skytv and went over to you. Tv/broadband/phone off again on the whole of our estate-not much help to people working from home. Wont be renewing our contract with you, and will be checking how soon we can cancel!

  • ianlumsden
Ian Lumsden (@ianlumsden) reported from Burnley, England

@virginmedia I have been trying to get through to customer service for the past two days, the call is usually immediately rejected or I am told the call waiting time is an hour. I have had enough and as soon as I get through I am cancelling my account. 😡

  • seanyseanysaeny
Flying Officer O’Connor🇬🇧 (@seanyseanysaeny) reported from Silsden, England

Just bought Rocketman from @virginmedia don’t waste your money. It won’t play or even open £13.99 wasted... #crap #rubbish #terrible

  • gazbullsfan22
Gareth Rider-Smith (@gazbullsfan22) reported from Keighley, England

@virginmedia Service even worse you demand full payment and then will credit our account for your error and breach of contract! Your customers service staff rude! Demanding money before we can speak to anyone well I wonder what a solicitor would have to say with copy of the breached contract.

  • SallyOdonnell
Sally O'Donnell (@SallyOdonnell) reported from Burnley, England

@virginmedia Hi thank you however a good start would be you to know your client base. Some of us are just not tech savvy and being talked to like an idiot is not the way to win hearts and minds let alone customer loyalty. Felt very undermined and very disappointed.

  • SamMcCartney
Sam McCartney (@SamMcCartney) reported from Rawtenstall, England

@Craig273 @virginmedia No. I just want to cancel sky sports as for £31.75 a month I don’t get the use out of it. I was lied to saying it would affect my package discount. I already get BT sport for free and if Amazon will be streaming more it’s pointless

  • wightpie
Wightpie (@wightpie) reported from Blackburn, England

@virginmedia So why then a) does it specify postal and b) not provide a field for mobile number. At best it’s misleading and at worst incompetent

  • braysoj1
Jonny Brayson (@braysoj1) reported from Keighley, England

    @virginmedia internet gone down bd22 6hn

  • LaurenceBoom
Laurence (@LaurenceBoom) reported from Colne, England

@virginmedia for the past 2-3 weeks I have had issues with on demand content, and the broadband. When I try to play a sky cinema film, the audio plays; but no picture. BBC iplayer is the same! The router is next to the virgin box, so dont understand what is going on.

  • SmartCoffeeOff1
Dave R (@SmartCoffeeOff1) reported from Blackburn, England

What do a pay for, I'm trying to watch football on now TV and losing Internet all the time, pay for a top package and **** service, @Virgin #internet #virginmedia #broadband

  • jaswinburne1
James Swinburne (@jaswinburne1) reported from Silsden, England

@virginmedia No one has offered a resolution. I have the same conversation time & again.... “I have reset your router”

  • Sam_yates4
Sam Yates (@Sam_yates4) reported from Old Laund Booth, England

@neilayates @virginmedia I believe they were the "3rd Party" that also caused the Microsoft 365 outage which killed our session yesterday!

  • gazbullsfan22
Gareth Rider-Smith (@gazbullsfan22) reported from Keighley, England

@virginmedia You haven’t applied the contract you sent out and the balance on our account is double the contract charge and your advice said pay in full to speak to someone if not it tough. And then said it would then be credited on the account. Your advisor are no help.

  • dwb89
Danny Bolton (@dwb89) reported from Altham, England

Yet again @virginmedia having technical problem on the payment line what a joke this company has become 14 years with them think it’s time to change. And still no word on bill reduction after the down time last week

  • dejkirkby
'Motivated And Confident' Mags (@dejkirkby) reported from Burnley, England

@WilfSauce @WrestlingJebus @Archiebald_C I have Virgin Media, so haven't had to use TVPlayer personally, but I know of people who have and it's worked perfectly fine. I believe there is a rolling contract for the service of £6.99 after the event so make sure you cancel afterwards.

  • dazzle961
andrew day (@dazzle961) reported from Blackburn, England

@virginmedia I haven't been able to sign in to my Virginia media for years so complete waste of time Time to sack you lot off

  • MATTYB00SH
𝕄𝔸𝕋𝕋𝕐𝔹𝕆𝕆𝕊ℍ (@MATTYB00SH) reported from Burnley, England

@virginmedia Yes it works on my phone browser, but not on laptop, so I'll just continue using that method, thanks. One more question; Why do your customer support agents ask for a security password that I use when speaking to an agent, despite being a new customer and haven't set this up yet

@virginmedia I have an engineer visit booked but it’s not showing on the app. I’ve raised a complaint about that but my complaint isn’t showing on the app. I started a live chat and was asked to move to WhatsApp’s, but didn’t receive any comms. How can I get a response from you?

  • BurnNotice85
    Burn Notice (@BurnNotice85) reported

@VirginMediaNews Note to Virgin Media : stop platforming that religious zealot and fantasist - even at the opportunity cost re: a young journalist's tv screen time & professional exposure. He's on his way back to prison when another warrant comes down from the bench, in coming days and weeks.

  • JHNaismith
    James (Jim) Naismith (@JHNaismith) reported

Usually optimistic on technological progress so disappointed broadband speed being > halved to 67Mbps next month by @bt_uk. @virginmedia can’t fix their “blocked duct” at front door, not good advert for uk infrastructure, I live in Jericho, central Oxford, not remote Highlands.

@VodafoneIreland I’m getting virgin media tomorrow morning **** Vodafone keeps dropping out and went off like this the other day aswell ****** wankers

  • O_E_W
    Our Electric World (@O_E_W) reported

@TheEvEngineer @gigaclear @MartinSLewis I used to get the same with Virgin Media when it was our only option. Simple solution is to swap and change to the cheaper deals. I got an Orbi mesh router a while back. It should help simplify our next swap as it keeps the same network name whatever company we’re with.
