Switching broadband providers from Virgin Media to Sky is proving to be such a bad decision while trying to work from home these last 5 weeks. Multiple connection drops every morning. It's a poor situation when tethering to your phone data is far more reliable. @SkyHelpTeam

If 2020 was an Internet provider it would be @virginmedia Solve the problem of losing IP address by restarting router. It was restarting the router that caused it. Restarted anyway and now the router won't connect to the Internet and all devices say no IP address #stressed

@virginmedia Yes I always use the service status tool... But still signal is constantly dropping, which results in resetting the router . Not happy to say we pay £45 a month for just broadband alone and can hardly get online most of the time... It's frustrating

Moved from @skytv to @virginmedia after 8 years and being a VIP customer with Sky. Poor service and a huge increase in price. Lost a longstanding customer. Now to try Virgin Media and see how this goes.

So, apparantly, if you sign up to an 18 month agreement with @virginmedia where you agree to pay a certain monthly service charge for 18 months for your broadband, then it is not actually a fixed price, and they can (by notifying you) increase it during the contract term...

@virginmedia Doesn't help, the only option on there I haven't tried was sending a letter. I've talked on chat, I've called multiple times, and submitting a form requires an account which I don't have. I've gotten no response from anyone, so my only recourse now is a police report.

@virginmedia Shame that you couldn’t do anything for such a long term customer as me. Have had to cancel my tv package right down to the min and even then it’s more expensive than I was paying. No reward for loyalty at all.
