Moved from @skytv to @virginmedia after 8 years and being a VIP customer with Sky. Poor service and a huge increase in price. Lost a longstanding customer. Now to try Virgin Media and see how this goes.

Switching broadband providers from Virgin Media to Sky is proving to be such a bad decision while trying to work from home these last 5 weeks. Multiple connection drops every morning. It's a poor situation when tethering to your phone data is far more reliable. @SkyHelpTeam

@virginmedia we joined you today. Upgrade on the wifi and tv. The WiFi is t working properly, the TV channels are not what we ordered. It is a joke. Can’t talk to anyone. Feeling very despondent and let down when WiFi is crucial for us as key workers (teaching) and homeschooling

Try to cancel with @virginmedia, they ask for a password I set up 1.5 years ago, obvs can't remember, have to wait for a letter It arrives - telling me my account number, which I already had, and delaying me being able to cancel for another week 😑

@virginmedia I'm on the phone (total 80 mins so far). Asked to file @OmbudServices complaint and miraculously discovered you're able to replace the faulty router without raising bills as a resolution to that complaint via the retentions team. Will be put thru once he's finished his admin.
