@jmtb18 @virginmedia @Virgin_Victoria Issues in Burnley too. It's been up and down like a yoyo. TV box light keeps flashing too.
-
David (@dave6018) reported from Leyland, England
@factuk @SkyUK @virginmedia @Facebook Thanks just annoys me, I pay for full tv service and idiots reselling mean I have to pay more for my legal services
-
Stu Nicholls (@stu_nico) reported from Walton le Dale, England
So the lack of response and the fact there is no online option to manage my BT Sport subscription means I have no option to choke up the call lines.. So much for easing the burden and stress on the customer service teams you employ @virginmedia @Virgin
-
Alison Boardman (@aboardy) reported from Walton le Dale, England
@virginmedia reported slow speeds on Sunday. Promised a call back between 2 and 4 hours. Not received. Not getting the minimum guaranteed broadband speed yet paying in full. Proving difficult to speak to anybody. You appear not to care. #poorcustomerservice
-
D J Bowers (@djbowers14) reported from Great Harwood, England
Moved from @skytv to @virginmedia after 8 years and being a VIP customer with Sky. Poor service and a huge increase in price. Lost a longstanding customer. Now to try Virgin Media and see how this goes.
-
𝕄𝔸𝕋𝕋𝕐𝔹𝕆𝕆𝕊ℍ (@MATTYB00SH) reported from Burnley, England
Switching broadband providers from Virgin Media to Sky is proving to be such a bad decision while trying to work from home these last 5 weeks. Multiple connection drops every morning. It's a poor situation when tethering to your phone data is far more reliable. @SkyHelpTeam
-
scott mitchell (@scottburnley) reported from Colne, England
@virginmedia can someone please get in touch with me has your broadband after 7pm is absolutely crap and I've totally had enough of it now
-
Hol (@HolGaffneyx) reported from Blackburn, England
@virginmedia Still nothing, we were told 24 hours and they would call but still no call, wondering if you can tell me how long this will take? Cause I'll cancel and go elsewhere
-
nevynxxx (@nevynxxx) reported from Rawtenstall, England
@virginmedia I understand your call centres are suffering, but 2 hours for text chat support and a phone line that 4 menu levels deep hangs up is not good enough. Massively annoyed and time wasted.
-
Sam McCartney (@SamMcCartney) reported from Rawtenstall, England
@Craig273 @virginmedia No. I just want to cancel sky sports as for £31.75 a month I don’t get the use out of it. I was lied to saying it would affect my package discount. I already get BT sport for free and if Amazon will be streaming more it’s pointless
-
Emily (@EmilyMc767) reported from Blackburn, England
@virginmedia It’s a media account, but it was more about the quality of the call. It’s not the way to treat a customer. Thanks
-
Alison Boardman (@aboardy) reported from Walton le Dale, England
@virginmedia spoken to your “customer service”. Advised that promises for call back on live chat cannot be traced and nothing they could do. The call centre apparently has no record of live chat conversations. Advisor seemed to blame me! For a media company very poorly connected
-
officialBtown (@btownofficial_) reported from Rawtenstall, England
@virginmedia why is it taking so long to sort out the fifa issue it’s *************** everyone who are on VM and want to play futchamps why can’t you give us a time scale on when it should be ready @NepentheZ @Itshaber @Marshall89HD
-
Moose And Me (@mooseandme1) reported from Great Harwood, England
@virginmedia you’ve sent me an outrageous bill with £35 in charges that you said you were waiving. Non of your call centres are open (undertandably) I cant get text support & there’s no other help available. You are going to bill me £120 for a £50 service and I can stop you.
-
Alison Boardman (@aboardy) reported from Walton le Dale, England
@virginmedia also run tests. All came back fine. Significantly below minimum guaranteed speed. Average 20mbps. Disappointed that I was promised a call and never got it. Been on hold too long. Appalling service.
-
Jim Ewart (@ewart71) reported from Leyland, England
@virginmedia It’s not fixed yet @virginmedia still intermittently losing internet won the wired connection also on demand still not working without dropping out and encountering errors - get it fixed as we are sick of paying you top end broadband for nothing
-
Nicky (@NickyRobbo80) reported from Blackburn, England
If 2020 was an Internet provider it would be @virginmedia Solve the problem of losing IP address by restarting router. It was restarting the router that caused it. Restarted anyway and now the router won't connect to the Internet and all devices say no IP address #stressed

𝑺𝒖𝒃𝒉𝒂𝒏 🇵🇸 ⏱ (@subz_1) reported from Accrington, England

-
Tariq Mahmood (@mrtariqmahmood) reported from Burnley, England
@virginmedia lnternet very intermittent. Router fault. But you won't send replacement so I am changing to Vodafone. Sick to death of the awful service I get from Virginmedia.

@virginmedia very poor of you
Virgin Media Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Andy Gibson (@gandy) reported
@virginmedia Can you confirm whether you are caching any Youtube content via your network? The most plausible explanation I can think of is that the Virgin network is preventing direct access to the source files, and the intermediary system isn't working properly.
-
LUFC is Life ⚽️ (@Carlianleeds) reported from Leeds, England
@virginmedia // my credentials. But without her, you can’t do anything 🤔 I’ve reported the faulty router, I’ve told you explicitly that I WILL NOT engage with my ex. Yet your telephone persons tell me I have to…. You claim I have a mobile contract with you? I don’t, I never have//
-
Danny (@alfieboy85) reported
@virginmedia A few times and had 3 engineers out. All advised the issue was sorted. Last engineer advised that we may have a problem with the upstream coming into the property.
-
Midnight 🏳️⚧️ (@midnighttmo) reported
@virginmedia , or any other excuse. Your hardware is the issue, it is literally the only thing causing fault.
-
Jon Dixon (@jon_dixon77) reported
@virginmedia I have no idea. You sent me an email to tell me the complaint was closed, even though you hadn’t spoken to me before closing it. I have given you the complaint number - please can you pass this on to the relevant team to contact me - as was promised by your call handler
-
LUFC is Life ⚽️ (@Carlianleeds) reported from Leeds, England
@virginmedia Thread: you NEVER give me my own account details. I’ve repeatedly told you that the account was set up on my now exes email address. Without her, you won’t talk to me, but you have no problem taking £55 a month just for WiFi…… just WiFi! I’ve repeatedly asked you to update//
-
AlSah Him (@alsahhimgul) reported
@virginmedia Still not working
-
Jon Dixon (@jon_dixon77) reported
@virginmedia I have given you a call and was told someone from the resolution / complaints team would call me back within 48 hours. That was last Wednesday.
-
Anthony Cassidy (@AnthonyMCassidy) reported from Llandrindod Wells, Wales
@virginmedia I have been told it’s a fault within the area although your apps say there is no fault. I was told it’s an external issue and the best estimate I was given was “could be up to a week but may be sooner”. It’s not good enough. Haven’t heard anything from Virgin since I called Fri.
-
Da La (@YoungSigmund) reported
@virginmedia Complaints were over the phone. I have recorded most of my conversations with your customer service as it is very bad. If you want me to write a legal letter I can got to my solicitor and write a legal letter to your legal department. This will invite cost to you
