9) Offer nothing in the way of a discount or compensation. Fill the call with long awkward silences until customer hangs up 10) Wait for customer to change to @BT & for it all to blow over. At this point, I'm hoping @richardbranson will be personally installing our @virginmedia.

@virginmedia Through and then hung up on... This also happened when I tried to ring the Saturday before (although I hadn't asked to speak to a manager)... It had just been a lot of issues and at the absolute most expensive time for them to have happened.

6) Technician says nothing he can do & that, despite Virgin promising it was, tell customer their house is not in fact Virgin Media ready. 7) Wait for disgruntled customer to ring them. 8) Tell customer earliest they can get another technician out is 2.5 weeks.

@virginmedia yes it is, I have already contacted your Webchat team and was told it is a known issue that has been ongoing since 24th may. After 25 minutes on the phone (mostly oh hold) after 5 concurrent missed calls in 2 mins after requests to be contacted by email, I am awaiting a call back

@virginmedia ordered new services on Saturday. Result - no updated service, new bill reflects old price and service. Tried to call customer service - too busy to take calls. And to cap it all Internet repeatedly down despite new Hub. Fuming.

@virginmedia We’ve not had a power cut The box has wiped everything on at least 3 occasions where we had only 4 or 5 recordings Also had to contact online help as the box was barring playback of catch up & we often lose LAN internet while WiFi is still operational Our box is temperamental
