@virginmedia Through and then hung up on... This also happened when I tried to ring the Saturday before (although I hadn't asked to speak to a manager)... It had just been a lot of issues and at the absolute most expensive time for them to have happened.

It is probably some kind of shared verification phrase which is used to authorize certain actions on your account when calling customer service. It is usually filled out when first time signing a contract with the company.
