@virginmedia Your customer service is absolutely shocking. You have cut off a vulnerable pensioner twice in the past 72 hours for reasons of your own error, leaving her with no means of communication whilst apparently being unable to fix the issue for 24 hours. Shocking! 🤬

@virginmedia Not only that, when pointing out to your CS team that the account holder was a vulnerable person, my wife was advised "what do you want me to do with that?" By the operator. Shameful. Fix her issue and stop cutting her off for no reason!!

@virginmedia Long story short I was told information that was not correct claimed my money back after being advised to do so the money then has been added back on to my next bill and after endless chats emails complaint forms promises of a call back I’m still waiting to get this resolved

@virginmedia YouTube app on V6 box has had playback issues for months. Used to be black screen flashing up for a second at beginning of every video, today it's black screen throughout video and only audio. Not good 🙄

@virginmedia I’ve done all that and it always says “no issues” but often when you get through on the phone you’re told there are and engineers are working on it. I’m just fed up of having to go through all the tests and restarts every time I want to record something or watch catch-up tv

@virginmedia - 3hrs on the phone today to several of your "Managers, Collections, and Tier 1 and 2 staff" No further forward, due to unprofessional calls, rudeness, and staff with a sloppy shoulder approach with no solution, no acceptance of error. Shocking customer service.

@virginmedia ... my wife who has authority to speak on her account on her behalf has been unsuccessfully trying to get you to once again resolve the issue. As it stands, we have been advised someone will be in touch within 24 hours. Unacceptable!! My mother in law lives alone

@virginmedia I’m paying for 200mbps and sometimes I achieve that, like now, but I still can’t watch @BBCiPlayer without constant buffering. This “local” issue was supposed to be sorted. Seriously considering other options to watch @BBCMOTD

-
David Llewellyn
(@TheDaiLlew) reported
@VirginMedia's argument is that they could only send us the same model router and TiVo box, but given that I'm fairly certain it's age and use that's causing the problems, that would be perfectly okay. I'm now eyeing up @BT_UK, but other recommendations are welcome.

@acrolvm @Thafnine @Caddicarus I work for Virgin Media, this is because the Engineers don't do their jobs properly whatsoever and upper management care more about office health and safety more than server stability. The server rooms aren't looked after properly at all and all Virgin care about is "expansion".

@virginmedia No your service status claims everything is fine, down detector says otherwise. Booked an engineer and now this morning things are seemingly working but I don’t trust it. I’m only with you as you’re the only fibre provider in my area and I work from home.
