@virginmedia I’m paying for 200mbps and sometimes I achieve that, like now, but I still can’t watch @BBCiPlayer without constant buffering. This “local” issue was supposed to be sorted. Seriously considering other options to watch @BBCMOTD

@trapdoor456 @virginmedia Definately going to look into them now. Worst part about Virgin is the inconsistent price rises as soon as the contract is up. Had to leave them and join as a new customer pretty much every year just to nearly half the monthly payment. ******* ridiculous.

  • _DundeePerfect_

@robhinds @virginmedia I have never been told I need anything other than broadband.... even if do decide to have a home phone that now plugs right in to the router.

To @virginmedia- Many thanks to your Technician who came out today following the outage in my area. Although I was back online by this time he checked over all the equipment and settings, and also discovered that the router needed changing-which he did - very polite and efficient man. I don’t use my real name on here for safety and security reasons, but if you want to send me a DM, I will let you know.

  • littlechappers
    Mr chappers (@littlechappers) reported

@virginmedia unfortunately I'm leaving you because of the cost of the service was going up to £69 per month but a new customer can get the same package for £24 per month, my disconnection was yesterday Mon 20th July but you still haven't switched it off .

@DeviateDefiant @virginmedia @MoneySupermkt I had a very similar experience with them. They are only interested in new customers and not retaining the ones they already have. I left, pay a fraction of what I used to, and will never do business with them again. Great business model for going bust.
