@virginmedia - 3hrs on the phone today to several of your "Managers, Collections, and Tier 1 and 2 staff" No further forward, due to unprofessional calls, rudeness, and staff with a sloppy shoulder approach with no solution, no acceptance of error. Shocking customer service.

@virginmedia Not only that, when pointing out to your CS team that the account holder was a vulnerable person, my wife was advised "what do you want me to do with that?" By the operator. Shameful. Fix her issue and stop cutting her off for no reason!!

@virginmedia Just tried that, still not working

  • AmandaM2282 AmandaM2282 (@AmandaM2282) reported from Alexandria, Scotland

@virginmedia I was advised to apply for the indemnity off a supervisor no one said it would be added on at a later date and the whole reason it happened was because an advisor on the chat told me I would have no charges to pay in feb this is my problem too much Erin info and no one fixing it

  • garydg7 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Gary ScottishEagle 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 (@garydg7) reported from Greenock, Scotland

@virginmedia ... my wife who has authority to speak on her account on her behalf has been unsuccessfully trying to get you to once again resolve the issue. As it stands, we have been advised someone will be in touch within 24 hours. Unacceptable!! My mother in law lives alone

  • robbo_1962 Peter Robinson (@robbo_1962) reported from Dumbarton, Scotland

@virginmedia I just turned everything off at the mains and restarted it all and that seems to have sorted it. Don’t know why I didn’t think to try that before. Thanks for your help and suggestions 👍

  • cocobrown1973 Coco Brown (@cocobrown1973) reported from Dumbarton, Scotland

@virginmedia Yeah I got it sorted however 1hr on a phone line at 30p per minute is not cheap taking a full hour to sort something that is simple is very poor customer service especially for loyal customers

  • garydg7 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Gary ScottishEagle 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 (@garydg7) reported from Greenock, Scotland

@virginmedia Your customer service is absolutely shocking. You have cut off a vulnerable pensioner twice in the past 72 hours for reasons of your own error, leaving her with no means of communication whilst apparently being unable to fix the issue for 24 hours. Shocking! 🤬

  • annemclean66 Anne McLean (@annemclean66) reported from Dumbarton, Scotland

  • ThirdUncle2 Mr Moonlight (@ThirdUncle2) reported

@virginmedia Sort yourselves out! Sick of calls from persons that: 1) I cannot understand 2) are simply looking to sell me something I don't need Try repaying my 15 years of loyal service another way, get rid of these wasteful departments and reduce our prices with the savings?

  • RichStokesy Richard (@RichStokesy) reported

.@virginmedia Next time you guys decide to do "essential maintenance" on my broadband network, during what will likely be an entire workday, can you inform us in advance please? At least then I can make alternative arrangements and not have a whole day wasted...

  • goo Benji (@goo) reported

@vmbusiness is service down again but without warning this time? You’ve got the postal code from last time.

  • fortis_semper Mel (@fortis_semper) reported

@virginmedia Thanks. I also currently have a monthly mobile contract with Virgin but 4G coverage indoors at home and even outdoors is extremely poor - only 1 bar signal and often insufficient to load webpages. (Despite your coverage page stating good coverage) Can anything be done re this?

  • fortis_semper Mel (@fortis_semper) reported

@virginmedia iPhone SE. Since I moved in. It hasn’t been too much of an issue as I have a landline and broadband so I can use my wifi. But as I am going to discontinue my Broadband I will need to use 4G on my phone.

  • anne_irfan Anne Irfan (@anne_irfan) reported

@virginmedia No issue is listed, even though we’re all without internet. Most of us looking to leave virgin ASAP for a service that actually provides

  • ThatsMyWitch 🦇𝔅𝔦𝔤 𝔱𝔦𝔡𝔡𝔶 𝔤𝔬𝔱𝔥🦇 (@ThatsMyWitch) reported

@virginmedia I’ve been on the phone all morning and this is the only solution apparently. Not acceptable as I work from home and now have no way of doing so.

  • okadasiren Deano (@okadasiren) reported

@virginmedia Great response as usual, and please do not suggest resetting it, as if the problem has existed for 18 months it’s probably worth you sending an engineer out and give me what I pay a lot for!

  • gummitch_uk Gummitch (@gummitch_uk) reported

@virginmedia Hi, I'm a customer with one of your basic cable tv set-ups, but there's one tv channel that I object to receiving. Can I request that that single channel be removed from my feed? How do I do that? Is it possible without having to phone and be on hold for 30+ minutes?
