@virginmedia Hi, eventually after over an hour of holding(for the third time) got though to someone who asked me to go through everything again for a third time. After 20 minutes of language difficulties got them to agree to send an engineer to my house in Wednesday to try and sort issues

@taff_owst @Twitch @KCOMcare ah. load on the exchange (assuming you're on adsl?) or your isp throttling your downstream bandwidth then 🤔 I know virginmedia were/are doing this once you pass 1gb down, albeit there should still be sufficient headroom to watch streaming with no issues 🤔 bizarre!

@virginmedia Oh the problem has sorted itself out now.. The connection speeds returned almost on cue with the error reporting dropping off on DownDetector.. So I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss them when you see a spike in reports.
