don mackeen (@donmackeen) reported from Glasgow, Scotland@virginmedia The service checker tells me either nothing, or - as in the screenshot - something completely contradictory. There is no way to communicate with anyone and yet, strangely enough, you still charge me for a service which only works intermittently.
-
Elenita (@Coops_71) reported from Thornliebank, Scotland@virginmedia I sent an email at 10.51 this morning which was delivered without any issues.
-
Karen Sime 💙 #TeamNHS (@Karencrafts) reported from Glasgow, Scotland@MargMarvelous @virginmedia I know. Virgin is down in Glasgow but I still need a new hub as the reset button on mine is broken. I’ve been going in circles on the app and website for the best part of an hour. A simple email address would have resolved it in 5 minutes!
-
don mackeen (@donmackeen) reported from Glasgow, Scotland@virginmedia Service still screwed up, any ideas when this will be fixed @virginmedia?
-
Naveed Asghar (@naveedasghar) reported from Glasgow, Scotland@virginmedia @stephenblack32 Shocking to say the outage fix could take up to 5th Jan in Glasgow. over a week with no internet during the festive period is unacceptable. I will be cancelling my virgin fibre today.

-
𝕽𝖚55𝖊𝖑𝖑 𝕱𝖚𝖑𝖙𝖔𝖓 (@rjmfulton) reported from Thornliebank, Scotland@virginmedia hi, just wondering if your support staff are trained on identifying and handling complaints properly? So far “to express my dissatisfaction” and “I would like to complain” haven’t worked.
-
Alexander Adair 🌙 (@AlexxAdair) reported from Glasgow, Scotland@virginmedia It wont even let me run a speed test. When I go to status check it says no problem found but when I call I says intermittent issues??

-
Holly McCormack 🏴 (@Hollz2012) reported from Paisley, ScotlandIt seems I made a good call using the OVO priority link this morning and not one through virgin media. Joined a virtual queue of around 12,000 that took half hour and although would like to have been lower down at the gig, I can’t have many complaints. #peterkay

Virgin Media Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
David Taylor 🏴 🇪🇺 (@gm8arv) reported. @virginmedia Is the web-mail still broken? It wasn’t working earlier today (Monday).
-
Pro-Irish🇮🇪🍀🏴 (@IrishBlackOps19) reported@virginmedia The worse broadband company ever. I’ve been a customer for nearly 10 years and just lately the broadband is shocking. It looks like I’ll be going to a new company and never coming back to virgin.
-
Chris Ohanians (@COhanians) reported@virginmedia genuinely shocked and appalled by virgin leaving my 80 year old father in law without broadband for a week. No o2 signal so was uncontactable by family fo such a vulnerable adult. We live a couple of miles from him and we had intermittent broadband too. I went online
-
Diplo (@loldiplo) reported. @virginmedia can you explain why your servers are down again. It’s pathetic constantly happening and conveniently falls on a bank holiday weekend so most of your customers will be without service for 2 days. Disgrace of a company.
-
vincent_van_gopher (@GopherVincent) reported@virginmedia Trying to contact VM but 150 number and Live Chat link not working.
-
Dan (@UKDan86) reported@loldiplo @virginmedia Every time you reply, it just further confirms that you truly are stupid. I don't talk to stupid people.
-
SJL (@lambypies) reported@tom550993 Haggled Virginmedia down to £50 a month for decent broadband, one set top box for live TV and the middle TV package. Now TV and Netflix still trials less than £75. If I could get a decent reception with an aerial I would ditch the box too.
-
Ben (@BenjaminEHowe) reported@ndabas @TLRailUK More interesting IMO – the IP address 80.0.1.0 belongs to Virgin Media (as part of 80.0.0.0/13). I wonder if the PIS uses VM, or if they're just using public IP space on a private network and hoping for the best?
-
Dippy | Brig Content Creator (@Itsdippylive) reportedHey @virginmedia. Honour what your own self-service flow committed to when you took my £111. Build the written-channel route to Payments your Resolutions Team has admitted is needed. Default it in payment SMS for every customer.
-
Debzy G 🦅🐦⬛🦉 (@brummiedebz) reported@virginmedia Right, I’ve tried calling these things. None worked Which suggests it’s an app issue.
