    So ever since I told @Plusnet I was moving to @virginmedia due to terrible speeds provided in my area against Virgins 1Gig my internet speed has been throttled that it’s barely useable. Only a week to go of the worst service. #broadband #dontsettle

    @virginmedia Made numerous complaints since last Friday. They are not being resolved. Mis sold the product by agents. Account not been created correctly, wrong hub has been installed. Engineer did not install at point requested and WiFi extenders not provided. Super bad service

    @virginmedia I’ve done all that and it always says “no issues” but often when you get through on the phone you’re told there are and engineers are working on it. I’m just fed up of having to go through all the tests and restarts every time I want to record something or watch catch-up tv

    @virginmedia Stay connected? I disconnect 5/6 times daily. No reason. Raised complaint, 4 failed contacts later I called Liberty Global. Engineer changed hub. Still the same. About 6 weeks later a letter came. Complaint would close if I didn't contact them by... 10 days ago. Please help.

    @uk_domain_names Possibly, tho' all broadband providers apart from Virgin Media use the Openreach local network, and this is the bit that is most likely to fail (cables particularly). Reckon on an outage of around 24 hours per year on average (but could be days). So mobile backup could be better.

    So inevitably my @VirginMedia broadband went down (it goes down with the regularity of a gay guy at the Eagle) but this time I connected to my iPhone and guess what was the first email I got? An email from Virgin Media telling me about all the new TV channels I have.

    @virginmedia --- i an trying to cancel the Virgin media service. Customer service team connected after one hour later she connected but they are not helping. Spent two hours in the call. Later call disconnected. Tried second time now still in the call. But no help so far
