@virginmedia hi guys, can you help send a wifi extender? Since my hub was replaced as part of an "upgrade" to my tv box! Used the connect app, calling support weekly but no further forward.

@virginmedia It's both. I have been doing some digging and it's the upload speeds. They are not getting anywhere over 2MB /sec which is not good enough. It has been very slow over the last couple of days

@sfc_rich @virginmedia You’re absolutely right. Cancelled my account in July yet they’re still billing me claiming they’ve no record of my phone call OR letter. Refuse to cancel my account unless I pay £101.50 which now has gone up to £148.50. #neverlisten #zerocustomerservice

  • formula1girl
Sarah-Jane Finch (@formula1girl) reported from Eastleigh, England

@sfc_rich @virginmedia They literally don’t care. They are my Dads provider too so I’m going to have the same issues when his house is sold. I’ve never, ever dealt with such sheer incompetence in my life!

@virginmedia Not according to the @virginmedia link, ‘looks like there are problems in (postcode) etc’ so what you say is not the truth! Perhaps you can communicate with your comms people to be on the same pg? Also, communicate with your customers. I am doing all the work to know what’s happ

@virginmedia what is going on with your internet. Been with you since July + never known a service with so much down time. Went down yesterday, went down again today with a known issue and an engineer out to fix. Back an hour before it drops again and now there's no known issues

  • Jeff_Otton
Jeff Otton (@Jeff_Otton) reported from Portsmouth, England

@virginmedia why it it that you can call me twice a day with some new deal? Why is it that no one in customer services believes me when I say my router is awful? I explain this to your telesales and they hang up. This is exactly why I’m leaving. Very poor customer service.

@virginmedia how do we get a new HBO activation email? We have TNT sports but don't appear to have the invitation email. All the online help simply sends us round in circles and trying to get through on the phone takes ages. Surely this should be quick and simple?

  • MrBazza
    MrBazza 🎬 (@MrBazza) reported

@virginmedia I logged a complaint a few weeks ago regarding mis-sold broadband rate. I rejected your initial offer in writing, then spent over 1 hour on hold only to be promised a callback in 20 minutes that never happened. Please check my complaint.

@virginmedia JAJAJAJAJA that must be a joke. In the complaint, your colleagues said they will train the staff better HAHAHA Train better to make it less noticeable. It is a shame how @virginmedia went from a great supplier to a pathetic one.

@LapChallenge The commentators are the worst I’ve ever heard, just talk waffle. Also see more of them than the actual sports. Where’s the options to watch different events? I thought it was an option but doesn’t work for me at all on virgin media annoying af

  • ScarlettShaw
    Scarlett Shaw (@ScarlettShaw) reported

The one touch switch for broadband might sound like a good idea but here’s something they don’t mention. When you leave @virginmedia , the email address you’ve had for 30 years is deleted. So you have to spend hours and hours changing login details on everything. It’s so stupid.
