Rahim™ 🇬🇧🇲🇦 (@rahim94) reported from Southampton, EnglandSo there's me hoping to watch the #SingaporeGP in full before work then it gets delayed by an hour. **** sake. Thank God for the @virginmedia app. (Dear god I hate working late shifts with a passion) #F1
-
Nicola Foster (@mayonnaise65) reported from Portsmouth, England@virginmedia Mum has not got a mobile phone. You sent text message to her daughter. Your customer service advisor obviously lied to mum and some of your advisors need to learn to speak clearly and slowly and not talk over the customer.
-
Ashley Mason (@masonicus) reported from Portsmouth, England@SkySports I’m a virgin media customer (with sky sports) and I cannot sign in with my virgin id on the sky sports app? Any suggestions?
-
Rob Mcgimpsey (@Rob_Mcgimpsey) reported from Romsey, England@virginmedia The same live date of the 21st still stands. Virgin have repeatedly guaranteed they’ll get it ready for then. Perhaps you can give them a nudge to let them know they have 3 days to get the outside work done. I’m sensing another let down, and I bet you won’t do anything about it!
-
Ryan Stanikk 📸 (@reyewon) reported from Southampton, EnglandWas incredibly annoyed at service from @virginmedia today. After sending back the old equipment 6 weeks ago, we received an email saying we were going to be charged for not sending it back. I called up 10 days ago and was told the charge would be removed and not to worry...
-
Mike Walker (@MikeWalker2012) reported from Fareham, England@virginmedia Honestly, I tried contacting customer support & they didn't care, so I don't think there's anything further you can do, the functionality of 360 is hopeless, doesn't come anywhere near as good as the old TiVo box. I just need to dump the overpriced VM service as soon as possible.
-
Rob Mcgimpsey (@Rob_Mcgimpsey) reported from Romsey, England@virginmedia This has already been dealt with yea, we’re continuing just because it feels as if we’ve waited too long to cancel now. Plus, Virgin are crediting me £5.35 for every day of delay that they’ve caused (55 days and counting).
-
Sarah-Jane Finch (@formula1girl) reported from Eastleigh, England@virginmedia So another 90 minute chat with no resolution? That’s fine I’m going to raise an official complaint as this is NOT good customer service at all.
-
Rob Mcgimpsey (@Rob_Mcgimpsey) reported from Romsey, England@virginmedia So you’re not going to do anything about it, despite knowing it’s destined to let me down. Exactly the same attitude as the rest of virgin. The problem is, it’s taken almost 4 months. This is the issue; deep rooted - Virgin reps don’t care
-
Sarah-Jane Finch (@formula1girl) reported from Southampton, England@virginmedia more of your appalling customer service!!!! Spend over 90 minutes on your chat help “service” trying to resolve an issue and your agent takes a break. When he returns and I don’t reply as I’m getting lunch I get cut off. And guess what?
-
Andy Rowlands 💙 (@CoachZen) reported from Fareham, England@virginmedia please explain why you send "we've fixed the phone problem in your area" text messages when you have not fixed it.
-
Rob Mcgimpsey (@Rob_Mcgimpsey) reported from Romsey, England@virginmedia The call back was organised by your virgin customer services because nobody seems to know what’s going on with my install. I think the hope was that the area manager might know. I’m not even exaggerating.
-
Rob Mcgimpsey (@Rob_Mcgimpsey) reported from Ampfield, England@virginmedia Unfortunately no end in sight. I had to make another call to Virgin today. It took 40 minutes before I was talking to someone. It seems Virgin are not capable to get this over the line without me pushing them onto the next step and following up to make sure things are done. Poor
-
Rob Mcgimpsey (@Rob_Mcgimpsey) reported from Romsey, England@virginmedia You’re not helping. You’re asking the same questions you ask every day. Yes, complaint raised. No, Virgin have given no reason why they keep cancelling. Next you’ll tell me you can’t do anything to help, which is exactly what your customer services say
-
Finola Sloyan - Brand building PR for B2B (@FinolaSloyanPR) reported from Portsmouth, England@virginmedia what is happening in postcode PO5 - no internet since yesterday mid day and your help messages don’t provide a solution. How many times are i going to read ‘try again in 5 hours’ ??!!
-
-
Cliff Emmans 💙 (@clifhard) reported from Portsmouth, England@virginmedia how many more times am I going to lose my broadband connection.Says no problem on service status but when I run test it says there is a problem in your area.Getting fed up 😡
-
Luke Martin (@lukemartin243) reported from Portsmouth, England@virginmedia This is really poor for a large company to have such issues… when will it be back up and running?
-
Leigh Lewis (Taffy) 🏴🎥🍿🍺🏉🎱🍔 (@Tafflar84) reported from Netley, England@virginmedia second time today Virgin has gone down in netley Southampton I work from home and this is very disruptive what the hell is going on
-
Komal Helyer (@komal_helyer) reported from Waterlooville, EnglandWhy @virginmedia did it take 6 hours to downgrade our package to just broadband on your chat functionality. We got there eventually.. but not after multiple upsell tries and much frustration. It's like the poor person on the end of the chat only makes money when he upsells...

Michael Cuddington (@cuddy271) reported@Ofcom I am told there is more strife coming down the line for @virginmedia they have a 360 tv box which customers hate becauseof its many problems and many want out .
-
Iran,Houth,Hez,Hams & Sky/BBC Lies#NeverAgainIsNow (@UFinlay33392) reported@virginmedia why is this issue happening after 3 pm every day ? Now it is really annoying having your service drop out when we are on important work calls
-
Liz Langfield (@liz_langfield) reported@ArturNadol7566 So Virgin Media has to pay a fine of £28m for the deliberate mistreatment of customers. But where does that money actually go? Certainly not to their customer-victims of their mistreatment. As always, fines paid by large corporations and companies NEVER benefit the victims.
-
Diego Kruger (@livingdaylite) reported@Ofcom In other words @Ofcom are informing us about their systematic failings in curbing the systematic failings of criminal cartel that is "Virgin Media" who make BILLIONS by charging extortionate prices and providing s#!t service what a "regulator" you are @Ofcom 🤡
-
Tigrus (@87BabaTigrus87) reported@virginmedia Booooooo you’re ****
-
Kelly Kilner (@KellyKilner) reportedGood. This is the WORST telecoms company. I’m still reeling from the bad service i endured in Nov, Dec 2025. @virginmedia. I have said that I will write to Ofcom but tbh…I feel worn by them. There is a whole industry and profits based on BAD customer service.
-
Andy (@andyosb) reported@Ofcom @virginmedia did exactly the same thing to me back in 2019! It was - and still is - the worst customer service experience of my life (and I'm now 65). I was just so relieved to escape them eventually. They're utter scum. Do yourself a favour & don't go anywhere near this company
-
Rob Heneghan (@robheneghan) reported@virginmedia There is a known issue. But the time it’s getting fixed is changing every few hours. And not for the better. As a laying customer we need to know when it will be coming back on as right now I’m using my mobile data for myself and children
-
Amy McManus (@BluemoonAmy) reported@virginmedia Had no broadband service since Tuesday evening. Service update showed fix yesterday by 16:07, then today at 16:07 and now tomorrow at 16:07. Totally unacceptable. When will this be sorted. M46.

Minute Market (@Minutemarketio) reportedVirgin Media Gets Fined 🫰 Virgin Media was hit with a £28 million, or roughly $37 million, fine by UK regulator Ofcom for repeatedly making it harder for customers to cancel contracts between 2022 and 2024. That is not just a consumer-rights story. It is a warning for telecom and subscription businesses that “retention tricks” can become regulatory liabilities. In a market obsessed with recurring revenue, cancellation friction is now a legal risk.
