    Just tried to cancel my @virginmedia broadband. Put through to disconnects team twice who have hung up on me, twice. Good system for stopping cancellations I suppose. Yet more top quality virgin customer service!

    @virginmedia So absolutely no help from Virgin Media. My broadband is down. I go on line and it says there are no issues in SO50 6BP. I click on fox my broad band and of course it can’t because I have NO broadband!

    @GeorgeMonbiot @timolarch @VodafoneUK My husband had the same problem with Virgin Media after the death of his father. He was given the number of the ‘bereavement department’ and he phoned, assuming they would help. Instead the woman demanded his father’s PIN and said only he could cancel!

    My internet is painfully slow tonight. Checked my router and it's not that, it's the internet itself. What is going on @virginmedia ? Your status says no faults but I can assure you there is. I am paying for 1GB bb and so far only reaching speeds of about 2.25 mb- explain??

    @virginmedia me again. To be clear after you canceled my 90 year old mother's contract and cut her off without warning leaving her, isolated from emergency support and assistance, are you going to repay the credit of her account or adding theft to company policy. @Ofcom

    @virginmedia so not only do you cut off vunerabule 90year old lady cut off from all her friends and family. potentially putting her in harm's way, not having any emergency access. You then take away her phone number, cancel her account without contacting her.

    @AFCAMDEN Stick with sky for television and Channel selection mate. Virgin's tivo box is very slow compared to sky q, plus you get more channel selection on sky. Plus you don't get certain channels like sky Atlantic on virgin media. Virgin are only good for their broadband service

    @virginmedia I already spent 40 minutes on the phone till I got someone - he wasn't much use. The previous time I tried, the guy put me on hold to find someone - I gave up after I'd been on hold for 20 mins. None of your "customer service" reps know anything.

    @virginmedia Ran a test and it said, "No network issue found". If the router thinks it's constantly overheating I don't suppose it'll be working at full capacity though? Any chance the router can be replaced? I renewed my contract recently and don't want to be stuck with juddery zoom calls.
