@virginmedia Why are you telling people who have internet problems to use the tv go app or check the status online. Just shows how clueless you are.

@TheRegister looks as if @virginmedia have a major outage affecting most if not all of Hampshire and into Dorset. Status page says all is good but tweets to them indicates otherwise.

@virginmedia It is no good stating what we already know - ‘We are aware of a problem and our engineers are working to resolve it’ BUT what is the problem AND what is the time scale for resuming service. Keep customers informed!

@virginmedia had enough of paying £44.50 for internet that is terrible and goes down far too often. Either lower the price or I'm leaving.

@virginmedia tv service was down on Friday & again today, so I assume the issue was not correctly fixed on Friday. Feeling rather frustrated. Hope this is not going to be an on going issue.

@virginmedia @vinceverrier Yes they can do a deal for you. Option 1 is pay loads and get a rubbish service. Option 2 is pay less and get a rubbish service. Difficult choice I know.

@virginmedia Hi John/Virgin Media I can grudgingly accept service issues but I can’t accept poor Customer Service advice, e.g. going on My Virgin Media & constantly being told there isn’t a service problem. Thanks for update at last. Paul

@n_quests @virginmedia What most irks me is they're gonna send me this phone stuff and waste emissions and **** to get it delivered and "activated" (whatever that means) and I will never even open it

@virginmedia I was a former broadband engineer over 10 years ago. Turns out I'm still better than what you call technicians these days. No one has the proper equipment to carry out works to your network. Leaving customers totally frustrated and thinking of leaving altogether.

@virginmedia Hi John, yes, we have had intermittent service for many weeks, a technician came out, download speeds of 5, up load speeds near maximum 50+. Still working but needed a new cable pulling, really it was a damaged temporary fix to my cable before the omni box. I fixed it my self,

Come on @virginmedia! If you are going to do planned engineering works that run late morning and all afternoon, perhaps do them late at night or early morning. Millions now working from home being let down by your increasingly unreliable broadband. Consistently poor.
