@guill0dean @virginmedia @VirginAtlantic It's a shame cause they've been really good with my parents. Fantastic speeds, friendly staff on the phone, speedy response. They've got nothing but praise for VM! It's one of the reasons I joined them for mobile. Mad how varied their customer service can be 🤔
-
Stacey at In2Events (@StaceyIn2Events) reported from Portsmouth, England
What a shocker, seems @virginmedia are totally inept at any and all forms of customer service, response or acknowledgement, across all media channels. So as a Virgin Media customer essentially be prepared to spend the rest of your life on hold for someone to ignore there too!
-
Jen (@jenrudder) reported from Hamble-le-Rice, England
@virginmedia so, I have run the tests and it is saying I need to book an engineer but the rest of Hamble seems to be down too so it doesn’t seem it is just my issue. Can you please tell us honestly if there is an issue?
-
Chris Puttock (@Puttzthewriter) reported from Portsmouth, England
I would like to tell you about my experience with @virginmedia. With them I have had the worst customer service in my life. Phone calls left on hold for nearly an hour at a time just getting to through to a customer service person only to spend every conversation arguing with...

Marilyn McCubbin (@Bermudgirl) reported from Netley, England
@virginmedia well I have more problems with your ‘goodselves’. My virgin is being cancelled (thank goodness) on 20 Aug 2020. So why have I had a bill of over £100 produced. My broadband outage has been rubbish. Please cancel this invoice and give me any due refund.
-
Jen (@jenrudder) reported from Hamble-le-Rice, England
@virginmedia Can you recheck. We are all getting different times for repair In Hamble. Some even said that they were told Thursday! Unacceptable, do we all get refunds for the down time?
-
Rahim™ 🇬🇧🇲🇦 (@rahim94) reported from Southampton, England
ok, what's going on with @Channel4 and why is the signal going? either @virginmedia is playing up, or this is part of the @DerrenBrown experiment
-
Stacey at In2Events (@StaceyIn2Events) reported from Portsmouth, England
@virginmedia another horrendous customer service experience today. Extortionate fees, vastly inadequate communication, hours on the phone listening to hold music, impossible to even log a complaint..for a company that’s premise is to ‘connect’ you’re doing a pretty atrocious job.
-
Jen (@jenrudder) reported from Hamble-le-Rice, England
@virginmedia Can you explain to me how the rest of the village is having issues and I need to book an engineer? Seriously?
-
GIBBO (@ONLYONEGIBBO) reported from Lee-on-the-Solent, England
@virginmedia So maybe you need to review your customer service protocols
-
Harrison🚴♂️ (@harrisondafydd) reported from Southampton, England
@virginmedia Don't do it. So many hidden fees, shite customer's service & woeful WiFi connection
-
Marc (@spoise87) reported from Southampton, England
@virginmedia I had no internet for a number of days, I was told that for that reason, that would be deducted from my bill pro rata. The new hub was sent free and fixed the issue
-
Raine Lambert (@raine2016) reported from Portsmouth, England
@virginmedia I have done everything your online help suggests, I have done the automated help guide and by text and yet my wifi still doesn’t work properly and you have hung up twice on me after 44minutes each time. Losing faith. #sortitout #ineedanengineer #ineedanewbox

-
Jen (@jenrudder) reported from Hamble-le-Rice, England
@virginmedia We have checked and as I said previously it said to book an engineer. However, the rest of the village says it out also so therefore, I presume it is a larger issue. How do we get this fixed?
-
Jamie Coleman (@Jamie_Lee_C) reported from Southampton, England
@tom_will_banks @PlacesLeisure I had a similar issue with Virgin Media. Cancelled my subscription and randomly 4 months later they started taking money from my account. I got a refund but I just though how sneaky..
-
Gary Hynes (@gazhere57) reported from Totton and Eling, England
I have been trying to get through to @virginmedia by phone since lockdown to cancel all of my subscription services. I just never get through. I have had my new provider in place for months. It just seems Virgin are not interested in supporting customers that want to leave.
-
Clare Old (@enkeli85) reported from Southampton, England
Good thing we are on leave and not trying to work from home. @virginmedia Internet gone down again.... Engineer coming tomorrow so I only hope it fixes itself before then
-
Grace (@GraceMajorx) reported from Locks Heath, England
@virginmedia what a load of crap this company is! Wi-Fi never ever works, it’s down more times than it is on. Get through to customer services after an hour and half for them to say it’s fixed (for the millionth time), then 5 mins later Wi-Fi isn’t working AGAIN! 😡😡😡

-
SaltertonArtsReview (@saltertonarts) reported
@virginmedia I just spent nearly an hour on the phone to your team, and had to explain my issue from the beginning 3 times. I understand technical faults happen, but good service recovery is the difference between customer loyalty and immense frustration.
-
Anand Patil (@anandpatil69) reported
@virginmedia my Asian mela channels & many more channels have gone blurry, can’t watch those channels. When contacted ur customer care, they are asking money to upgrade software/equipment. Is this fair for existing customers?
-
martin horan (@martinh1122) reported
@virginmedia I don’t know. We can’t get onto the internet long enough to look it up but been like this for ages. One minute good next minute virtually not working. Have screenshots of down and upload speeds if you want them
-
Rico Reekz (@rramsey91) reported
@kebabcowboy @virginmedia Fuming man! Trying to work and the thing just cuts off! They better be cutting the bill because this ain’t the service I pay for! Especially when I can’t do my job without the service I’m paying for
-
Paul Norris (@iampaulnorris) reported
@virginmedia It is a V6 box that I’ve had for a few years. The fault has been an issue for a couple of weeks. Upgraded to V360 service last week using existing V6 box with new V360 remote supplied by VM. Recorded programs stutter (randomly frozen) running V360 service as it did before upgrade
-
Mark Hughes 💙 (@markphughes17) reported
@geoffdoesstuff @virginmedia Oh nice, maybe then. Doesn’t look like any provider is offering better than what I have now (which isn’t terrible, I want to leave because my current provider’s service is unreliable, but don’t want to get tied into a new contract just now unless I can get significantly better)
-
Peter 🐈🎸🕹️ (@PeteYourDoom) reported from Hartlepool, England
@virginmedia Checked l the internal cabling and all right etc so hopefully just a lose wire somewhere at the cabinet or something the engineer can easily fix. Is there any refund due to lack of service? I pay £67 a month. Can offset that against my mobile phone data
-
martin horan (@martinh1122) reported
@virginmedia I wouldn’t know what it was but why are you focussing on me when there is a wider geographic issue?
-
martin horan (@martinh1122) reported
@virginmedia I did and it says no issue but trust me the level of speed inconsistency is so bad it’s virtually unusable and especially at peak times like just before and just after school
-
martin horan (@martinh1122) reported
@virginmedia I cant log in to my account. The sign in process takes too long and the internet drops out during sign in. Plus, it doesn’t affect just us. The facebook posts about Virgin are numerous. I spent a good hour yesterday rebooting everything
