@virginmedia please explain why you send "we've fixed the phone problem in your area" text messages when you have not fixed it.
-
Steve (@SteveWasteney) reported from Netley, England
@virginmedia Customer service is still the poorest of all the media companies I see. Can't use live chat without it dropping out, can't phone because the menu system doesn't cover what you want to talk about. Do you even have an e mail address to contact. I have had enough!!!
-
Mike Cook (@utarg) reported from Portsmouth, England
@virginmedia again problems with red button on sky sports football - no interactive events on this channel
-
Veteran Locksmiths (@vetlocksmith) reported from Fareham, England
@virginmedia your broadband connection is disgusting, we have called to be told that we need to wait 24 hrs to see if there is an issue. Not good enough this is now affecting my business for my staff !!
-
James Featherstone (@JFeathjav) reported from Southampton, England
@davenevin @virginmedia Luckily their customer service is excellent 🥴

Mark Cook (@Macsaint99) reported from Southampton, England
@virginmedia @TimTastic38 Ok, so if we paid part of the bill as we had a loss of service for part of the day that would be fine too?????

@virginmedia why do I have to wait for 23 hours to book an engineer when my broadband service is poor now?
-
Mike Walker (@MikeWalker2012) reported from Fareham, England
@virginmedia Honestly, I tried contacting customer support & they didn't care, so I don't think there's anything further you can do, the functionality of 360 is hopeless, doesn't come anywhere near as good as the old TiVo box. I just need to dump the overpriced VM service as soon as possible.
-
Andy Mooney (@andy_moo) reported from Locks Heath, England
@virginmedia It was supposed to be yesterday. Phoned customer services yesterday evening but didn't help, phoned again this morning and now finally activated
-
chris (@crumblechris) reported from Winchester, England
@virginmedia Thanks - but that phone line isn’t recognising when I enter digits on the key pad - so is useless.your website still says ‘no issues’ after more than 4 hours of no internet connection.
-
Komal Helyer (@komal_helyer) reported from Waterlooville, England
Why @virginmedia did it take 6 hours to downgrade our package to just broadband on your chat functionality. We got there eventually.. but not after multiple upsell tries and much frustration. It's like the poor person on the end of the chat only makes money when he upsells...

@NewWorldLoading @ODEONCinemas I pulled off the ultimate scam by using the O2 priority app which I now have access to as a customer of @virginmedia following their recent merger 😈 Free ticket at odeon every Monday
-
Veteran Locksmiths (@vetlocksmith) reported from Fareham, England
@virginmedia Just to confirm the customer services on the phone said the issue was your end not the router. This shouldn’t take 24hrs to sort for such a large provider
-
chris (@crumblechris) reported from Winchester, England
@virginmedia Hi - so the fault that is still ongoing, 24 hours+ now, and the fault line said would fixed by 11pm last night. Now the fault line says it’s being worked on - and no update for residents….please advise what is going on and an ETA for the fix? Thanks

Sim Dendy (@SimDendy) reported from Romsey, England
Apologies if you can’t get hold of me - @virginmedia have ‘blacklisted’ my phone even though I am not a Virgin customer. After many hours/phone calls they are still unable to explain why & have said I need to write a letter (!) to escalate further 🤯 - any better ideas out there?
-
chris (@crumblechris) reported from Winchester, England
@virginmedia Can you update the website to stop giving out false information? If you know there are ‘some issues’ can you tell me what they are - that alone is a helpful update….
-
Nicola Foster (@mayonnaise65) reported from Portsmouth, England
@virginmedia Mum has not got a mobile phone. You sent text message to her daughter. Your customer service advisor obviously lied to mum and some of your advisors need to learn to speak clearly and slowly and not talk over the customer.
-
Ryan Stanikk 📸 (@reyewon) reported from Southampton, England
Was incredibly annoyed at service from @virginmedia today. After sending back the old equipment 6 weeks ago, we received an email saying we were going to be charged for not sending it back. I called up 10 days ago and was told the charge would be removed and not to worry...

@virginmedia Had internet issues at 11am today for about half an hour. Experiencing them again and it states things should be back to normal by 3pm. Maintenance and upgrade works should be arranged during out of hours and not when the majority are working from home! (GU11)

@virginmedia You're not sorry to hear it at all through, are you? It's a standard approved repsonse to show you care. But you don't, otherwise these issues would have been fixed MONTHS ago. I wonder if @LutzSchueler ever has wifi issues? And if you do Lutz, who sorts this for you?

@alexaarrose @virginmedia Different problem, I get 5G in 5G areas, just when I’m in a 3G only area I have no internet connection rather than a slower data connection.
-
Julian Armstrong (@Brasfort49) reported
@virginmedia Fine. There are two frustrations for users. The first is a tendency to bias the system towards blaming the user's setup "you have a problem with your broadband".. no, it's YOUR broadband service actually:second a suspicion that lack of investment is root cause of service failure

Fiona Mccleod (@fionamc6568) reported
