@virginmedia you claim to have restored the WiFi problem, not according to everyone around the country… your service over the last couple of weeks has been diabolical!

  • Rob_Mcgimpsey
Rob Mcgimpsey (@Rob_Mcgimpsey) reported from Romsey, England

@virginmedia Several complaints have been raised. I’ve been calling most days since October 2nd. Come someone please help?

  • FinolaSloyanPR
Finola Sloyan - Brand building PR for B2B (@FinolaSloyanPR) reported from Portsmouth, England

@virginmedia Oh for God’s sake, @virginmedia , I’ve already done this 3 times, the latest time last night with your technical support, the same person that arranged for a technician to come this morning, then cancelled because you erroneously believe the breakdown is resolved.

  • Rob_Mcgimpsey
Rob Mcgimpsey (@Rob_Mcgimpsey) reported from Ampfield, England

@virginmedia The installation is still not complete! That’s the problem. Virgin was ordered on 2nd oct. First install was planned on 17/10 and then cancelled by Virgin. Virgin have cancelled 8-10 times since. It’s now 08/12! 52 days and counting

  • DIZZYDJC
Daniel John 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇪🇺 (@DIZZYDJC) reported from West End, England

@virginmedia It's both. I have been doing some digging and it's the upload speeds. They are not getting anywhere over 2MB /sec which is not good enough. It has been very slow over the last couple of days

  • formula1girl
Sarah-Jane Finch (@formula1girl) reported from Southampton, England

@virginmedia Your resolution to this is for me to pay you money for a service I don’t use as I cancelled it. How is that a resolution? You are just not listening to me.

  • rahim94
    Rahim™ 🇬🇧🇲🇦 (@rahim94) reported from Southampton, England

Oh it's broadband price hike time again!! You can almost guarantee @virginmedia will try and increase the broadband prices by more than the CPI figures, then drop it back down as soon as you phone up and mention the word "Sky" EVERY. BLOODY. TIME. #MartinLewis

  • sae_dew
Shannen AE (@sae_dew) reported from Hill Head, England

@virginmedia my internet has been down for over an hour and I’ve reset and rebooted it many times!!! It says service is fine in this area… but it’s not.

  • simonnewby
Simon Newby (@simonnewby) reported from Southampton, England

@virginmedia I do have a reference bit this is exactly the standard (or total lack) of service I have received for the last 4 weeks, hence the open complaint. Not one person from Virgin has contacted me in any way in that time, despite at least weekly promises like this one.

  • ghm67
    G 67 🇬🇧🇺🇦 (@ghm67) reported from Portsmouth, England

@virginmedia seems to be down in PO2 area??

  • Jeff_Otton
Jeff Otton (@Jeff_Otton) reported from Portsmouth, England

@virginmedia Plus I’m paying for poor service- why on earth would I take up any marketing incentives?

  • mayonnaise65

  • crumblechris
chris (@crumblechris) reported from Winchester, England

@virginmedia Can you update the website to stop giving out false information? If you know there are ‘some issues’ can you tell me what they are - that alone is a helpful update….

  • Rob_Mcgimpsey
Rob Mcgimpsey (@Rob_Mcgimpsey) reported from Romsey, England

@virginmedia I guarantee you they cannot help. I call every day, usually spending over an hour on the phone. The pre-installs team only promise me a call back from someone who can help, within 24-48hrs. The call back never comes, despite further requests for this to happen. Explain that?

  • Jeff_Otton
Jeff Otton (@Jeff_Otton) reported from Portsmouth, England

@virginmedia why it it that you can call me twice a day with some new deal? Why is it that no one in customer services believes me when I say my router is awful? I explain this to your telesales and they hang up. This is exactly why I’m leaving. Very poor customer service.

  • vinnie_davis
Vinnie Davis (@vinnie_davis) reported from Portsmouth, England

@virginmedia so not only do you cut off vunerabule 90year old lady cut off from all her friends and family. potentially putting her in harm's way, not having any emergency access. You then take away her phone number, cancel her account without contacting her.

  • formula1girl
Sarah-Jane Finch (@formula1girl) reported from Southampton, England

@virginmedia I have just spoken to collections team who told me they cannot deal with my issue. They passed me to cancellation team who said they cannot deal with it only collections can. The issue is that I cancelled in July but you have no record of my call or letter.

  • Rob_Mcgimpsey
Rob Mcgimpsey (@Rob_Mcgimpsey) reported from Ampfield, England

@virginmedia Further to this, my install date has now been pushed back to 13/12. A quarter of a year later than quoted. This is unacceptable and the joke is, it won’t even happen then! It’ll get pushed back again. My partner is pregnant and Virgin are seriously letting us down. Shameful

  • JFeathjav
James Featherstone (@JFeathjav) reported from Southampton, England

@davenevin @virginmedia Luckily their customer service is excellent 🥴

  • vinnie_davis
Vinnie Davis (@vinnie_davis) reported from Portsmouth, England

@virginmedia me again. To be clear after you canceled my 90 year old mother's contract and cut her off without warning leaving her, isolated from emergency support and assistance, are you going to repay the credit of her account or adding theft to company policy. @Ofcom
