Virgin Media Issues Reports Near Marchwood, England
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Marchwood and nearby locations:
-
Craig (@Danzy92) reported from Southampton, England@virginmedia Yes, I’ve checked everyday and despite signing up for text updates about this issue, I’ve heard nothing despite being 48 hours after the date it was supposed to be fixed. Not even a further text so confirm a delay. Could you provide any update to the SO15 postcode issue?
-
Mike Walker (@MikeWalker2012) reported from Fareham, England@virginmedia Honestly, I tried contacting customer support & they didn't care, so I don't think there's anything further you can do, the functionality of 360 is hopeless, doesn't come anywhere near as good as the old TiVo box. I just need to dump the overpriced VM service as soon as possible.
-
SM (@southnorthener) reported from Southampton, England@virginmedia No service is SO17 postcode, either TV or internet. Is there an issue?
-
Rahim™ 🇬🇧🇲🇦 (@rahim94) reported from Southampton, EnglandOh it's broadband price hike time again!! You can almost guarantee @virginmedia will try and increase the broadband prices by more than the CPI figures, then drop it back down as soon as you phone up and mention the word "Sky" EVERY. BLOODY. TIME. #MartinLewis
-
Sarah-Jane Finch (@formula1girl) reported from Eastleigh, England@virginmedia Im only unwilling to use the chat as after today’s conversation by phone with the 2 departments I got told could sort out my issue & they couldn’t I am emotionally broken.
-
Rahim™ 🇬🇧🇲🇦 (@rahim94) reported from Southampton, EnglandYeah I'm just gonna point out that I couldn't give a **** about the boxing Boxing is a sport that's become corrupt like the Brazilian government, money driven like a Latin American drug lord, so yeah, I'm not paying £25, on top of the £126 I pay to @virginmedia every month
-
Andrew McAlpine Ⓥ (⧖) 🌱 (@Maritimegeek) reported from Locks Heath, England@MFletchxo @virginmedia I feel yr frustration especially if your trying to sort out a problem for yr mum. We have everything with them but seriously considering cancelling in the new year after this shambles. Hope you get your issue sorted.
-
Sarah-Jane Finch (@formula1girl) reported from Southampton, England@virginmedia I cancelled in July (which apparently you have no record of) so I contacted you in Sept when you threatened to cut my service off, that I wasn’t using anymore, and told you I’d cancelled. I’m not paying this!! Absolutely ridiculous!!

-
Tom Weise (@tw17_09) reported from Locks Heath, England@virginmedia cut off by Jack. 1 hour spent on hold today, 3 online conversations dropped. Told I am allowed to cancel for free, then I have to pay to cancel. Told my price is going up, told it isn’t. Which is it? Get in touch with me. I don’t want my next call with @Ofcom instead
-
Andy Rowlands 💙 (@CoachZen) reported from Fareham, England@virginmedia please explain why you send "we've fixed the phone problem in your area" text messages when you have not fixed it.
-
Rob Mcgimpsey (@Rob_Mcgimpsey) reported from Romsey, England@virginmedia After waiting 24hrs for a response on WhatsApp I’ve once again been told I need to talk to another department. I waste more time waiting to speak with the “correct” department, only to be told they can’t help because of a third party completing the work. Absolute joke
-
Craig (@Danzy92) reported from Southampton, England@virginmedia wifi issues for over a week. Run test every day for it to just say there’s some issue in your area. When will this be fixed? Costing me money to commute somewhere where I can get wifi and disrupting my work.
-
Sim Dendy (@SimDendy) reported from Romsey, EnglandApologies if you can’t get hold of me - @virginmedia have ‘blacklisted’ my phone even though I am not a Virgin customer. After many hours/phone calls they are still unable to explain why & have said I need to write a letter (!) to escalate further 🤯 - any better ideas out there?
-
mark wilson (@obcans) reported from Southampton, England@virginmedia I've have said my Internet drops out my TV my laptop witch are connected via ethernet cable drop out its not good enough I have always had this problem I just want it sorted out
-
Marls 🐝 (@Beaumont296) reported from Bursledon, England@virginmedia I have not looked on my account but I will. Your service is a complete joke. Meanwhile I’m paying the top level price for internet speed! It’s unbelievable really. My monthly bill is £139. At least **** Turpin wore a mask when he robbed people. @richardbranson
-
Rob Mcgimpsey (@Rob_Mcgimpsey) reported from Ampfield, England@virginmedia Well you said that on webchat you can’t do anything but raise a complaint for me. I called the pre-installs team again who have once again left a note for the area install manager to call. This note has been left several times, and of course - he doesn’t call. This is stuck.
Virgin Media Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
mike gorman💙 (@MonsterMikeyG) reported@JamieGBarry @virginmedia I cancelled @virginmedia after 15years last week as my bill hit £200. They offered me a decent package but I said no. Phoned me over 6 times over the next 2 days before I answered only for them to offer me a worse deal than the one I turned down. Madness
-
racenerd2 (@racenerd2) reported@virginmedia @JamieGBarry @virginmedia This really is a terrible response. The price goes up because the price goes up. Seriously? We were with you for years, but got sick of the constant increases and the depressingly asymmetric customer interface... trivial to move to a higher cost contract, but reducing the cost involves sitting on hold then speaking to an overseas call centre. This business model screams desperation. It's customer hostile. Please, wake up and pack it in. We're now with Toob, £29/mo for 900M+ fibre. We ported our phone number to a VoIP service for about £2.99/mo and don't miss the ad-stuffed cable TV channels at all.
-
Jack (@WFC_Jack04) reported@virginmedia Your WiFi is AWFUL
-
Daniel Casey (@DanielCasey7) reported@virginmedia @JamieGBarry @virginmedia we shouldn't have to move through three call centre departments, 20 requests to cancel the contract only to be hard sold a more expensive contract, eventually the cancellation request is accepted, then the retentions dept can actually offer a fair deal.
-
andrew varley (@andrewvarley) reported@virginmedia @JamieGBarry Idiots I left and will never go back rip off merchants!
-
SJA505 (@SJA505) reported@virginmedia @PeteUK7 3months to update an auto send template. Media savvy VM at the cutting edge of tech and customer service.
-
Pauliebwillcox💙 (@pauliebwillcox) reported@virginmedia I upgraded to Virgin360, it's been a nightmare- 4 times the box has reset & lost all our recordings, it fails to records things and its been impossible to get any help - we've been with you with no problems for decades, can you get me some help before I move to Sky?
-
Dr Stuart Woolley (@FractalDoctor) reported@PeteUK7 @virginmedia Had exactly the same situation last year with a close relative. Complete shambles that took many mails and waiting on hold on the phone to resolve, then sending back boxes of crap that would no doubt go into landfill. I'd recommend avoiding them at all costs, for anyone.
-
WeHearYou (@WeHearYou2020) reported@virginmedia @rafthemaster They offer an awful service. When there was a national outage a fee weeks ago our main box coincidentally went off and stopped working. Spent nearly two hours on the phone waiting and then trying to explain our problem. We were promised a new box. Still waiting. Shocking service.
-
WelshVilla (@Welsh_Villa) reported@JamieGBarry @virginmedia Once our contract is up we are off from virgin media. Terrible company
