@mattytap @Struggling4C @virginmedia @andi_north Exactly, it used to be so much better before they changed the compensation procedure. No service is an inconvenience no matter the period of time, considering the amount of money most of us pay each month 😩

  • planetf1 Nigel Jones (@planetf1) reported from Southampton, England

@virginmedia @brum1985 Why is your status page still broken. Surely you should have updated with some static text mentioning widespread issues. Phone line the same . No issues. We know there is. You need to step up to communicate on those other channels. Poor show currently

  • SCHchauffeur Southampton Chauffeur (@SCHchauffeur) reported from Southampton, England

@virginmedia It is no good stating what we already know - ‘We are aware of a problem and our engineers are working to resolve it’ BUT what is the problem AND what is the time scale for resuming service. Keep customers informed!

  • bertrum Neil B (@bertrum) reported from Totton and Eling, England

@TheRegister looks as if @virginmedia have a major outage affecting most if not all of Hampshire and into Dorset. Status page says all is good but tweets to them indicates otherwise.

  • LisaMFricker Lisa Fricker (@LisaMFricker) reported from Southampton, England

@virginmedia The TV took 3 hours to sort out but fixed now. The broadband was more annoying as I work from home, was off from 1030pm last night until about an hour ago today. Also the service status on your website doesn't work either! Not a good service for the price we pay each month 😩

  • Resqred Resq (@Resqred) reported from Southampton, England

  • langdonpiggott artist with scarf (@langdonpiggott) reported from Southampton, England

@virginmedia Here is an idea ; proactively acknowledge that WiFi connections down for over 12 hours and suggest that the next bill we all receive reflects the loss of ‘service’. Look forward to seeing that!

  • LisaMFricker Lisa Fricker (@LisaMFricker) reported from Southampton, England

@andyphilp @virginmedia I agree, the service lately from @virginmedia is disgraceful and we all deserve a refund

  • SupaScouse53 Paul M. Farmer (@SupaScouse53) reported from Southampton, England

@virginmedia Hi John/Virgin Media I can grudgingly accept service issues but I can’t accept poor Customer Service advice, e.g. going on My Virgin Media & constantly being told there isn’t a service problem. Thanks for update at last. Paul

  • Erindav58339011 Erin davis (@Erindav58339011) reported

  • kissffonzo2 Chris Affonso (@kissffonzo2) reported

@virginmedia Your apologies are just words @virginmedia have no idea how some of their customers have tryed to call and speak with your people. So of you customer service staff are rude and unhelpful and I have made a number of complaints on these matters with no success and hide behind this

@virginmedia The link just says there’s no issue with the connection coming into my house, which I already knew! The problem is with the router!
