@virginmedia Yeah I did - and I used the ridiculous online assistant. However the problem is my wifi signal is really bad. But because they can’t see a problem their end they won’t help. Plus the queue to try get help is really bad. Your call is in a que because we’d rather employ telesales

  • rahim94
    Rahim™ 🇬🇧🇲🇦 (@rahim94) reported from Southampton, England

So there's me hoping to watch the #SingaporeGP in full before work then it gets delayed by an hour. **** sake. Thank God for the @virginmedia app. (Dear god I hate working late shifts with a passion) #F1

  • formula1girl
Sarah-Jane Finch (@formula1girl) reported from Southampton, England

@virginmedia I “chatted” last week. Your only solution was me paying for a service I cancelled. I “chatted” yesterday to both departments that could apparently help. Neither could unless I paid for a service I cancelled. More chat? Which department this time??

  • rahim94
    Rahim™ 🇬🇧🇲🇦 (@rahim94) reported from Southampton, England

@virginmedia Well... @VodafoneUK also invest around about the same amount of money in their network, and they haven't increased the prices anywhere near as much as you have. And I'm always connected whenever I'm outside the house. No issues with connectivity whatsoever.

  • DragonWILL300
Jason Willoughby (@DragonWILL300) reported from Waterlooville, England

@virginmedia you claim to have restored the WiFi problem, not according to everyone around the country… your service over the last couple of weeks has been diabolical!

  • Rob_Mcgimpsey
Rob Mcgimpsey (@Rob_Mcgimpsey) reported from Romsey, England

@virginmedia This has already been dealt with yea, we’re continuing just because it feels as if we’ve waited too long to cancel now. Plus, Virgin are crediting me £5.35 for every day of delay that they’ve caused (55 days and counting).

  • soverncomfort
soverncomfort 🔴⚪ (@soverncomfort) reported from Portsmouth, England

@virginmedia please can you advise if there is an outage in PO5 area. I've had no Internet from about midnight tonight and also on Sunday night #noservice

  • Rob_Mcgimpsey
Rob Mcgimpsey (@Rob_Mcgimpsey) reported from Romsey, England

@virginmedia I guarantee you they cannot help. I call every day, usually spending over an hour on the phone. The pre-installs team only promise me a call back from someone who can help, within 24-48hrs. The call back never comes, despite further requests for this to happen. Explain that?

  • formula1girl
Sarah-Jane Finch (@formula1girl) reported from Southampton, England

@virginmedia Your resolution to this is for me to pay you money for a service I don’t use as I cancelled it. How is that a resolution? You are just not listening to me.

  • rahim94
    Rahim™ 🇬🇧🇲🇦 (@rahim94) reported from Southampton, England

@evans81uk @virginmedia Get on the phone. Or live chat. Bring that price back down. Normally everyone Virgin bring in a price increase im very quick to bring it back down

  • Rob_Mcgimpsey
Rob Mcgimpsey (@Rob_Mcgimpsey) reported from Romsey, England

@virginmedia You’re not helping. You’re asking the same questions you ask every day. Yes, complaint raised. No, Virgin have given no reason why they keep cancelling. Next you’ll tell me you can’t do anything to help, which is exactly what your customer services say

  • rahim94
    Rahim™ 🇬🇧🇲🇦 (@rahim94) reported from Southampton, England

You know @btsport, it would be nice to watch the match in UHD, if only the UHD channel wasn't so jittery. 🤦 Whoever's problem it is, whether it's @btsport or @virginmedia, sort it out!!! #RANLIV #ChampionsLeague

  • soverncomfort
soverncomfort 🔴⚪ (@soverncomfort) reported from Portsmouth, England

@VirginMediaCorp I'm getting fed up with this. Yet again at 11:30pm my Internet has stopped working. Virgin is closed so what am I supposed to do? I am paying for a service thst doesn't work and you don't have anyone to answer the phones #useless #virginmedia

Oh it's broadband price hike time again!! You can almost guarantee @virginmedia will try and increase the broadband prices by more than the CPI figures, then drop it back down as soon as you phone up and mention the word "Sky" EVERY. BLOODY. TIME. #MartinLewis

  • Rob_Mcgimpsey

@virginmedia This is the second time the complaint has been raised as the first one was ignored. It’s literally a joke and very ironic that I need to complain about the complaints department.

@MelJanie @virginmedia I’ve just left virgin media. Their customer service is abysmal

  • O_E_W
    Our Electric World (@O_E_W) reported

@TheEvEngineer @gigaclear @MartinSLewis I used to get the same with Virgin Media when it was our only option. Simple solution is to swap and change to the cheaper deals. I got an Orbi mesh router a while back. It should help simplify our next swap as it keeps the same network name whatever company we’re with.
