@virginmedia Engineer booked for Tuesday. I spoke to Ezra on your team who was brilliant in fairness. Very apologetic about the level of service and now looks like we need planning permission to dig up the road to fix the cable.🥴 Thanks for your responses and happy new year!

@virginmedia Yes after a 5 hour outage during a key work time did me it came back up. But I’m more disappointed in the delay in customer service response time.

Alex Lewis (@alewis2106) reported from London, England
@virginmedia Thank you for your reply. We had a technician out over 5 weeks ago to check the landline. He told us the cable in the road was damaged and it would take 10 days to fix. That was nearly 6 weeks ago and we have heard nothing since and can’t get through to your customer services.

@virginmedia @JoBurkill It’s the whole street. Please help us. I’ve logged two complaints but no reply. Constantly cutting in and out all day every day. Help! @sbarrett92

-
HK (@harrydotcom_) reported from St Albans, England

-
Matthew Carter (@matthewcarter7) reported from London, England
@Thecarmagdriver @virginmedia 1) ISP hardware is total shite (Virgin in Particular) don’t use it. It is worth what you paid for it £0. 2) Draytek router and Ruckus wifi (connected via Cat6) is what you need to distribute throughout house (a single WiFi point is never going to work)! 3) it will cost money!

Alex Lewis (@alewis2106) reported from London, England
Does anyone know of a service worse than @virginmedia? Our home phone went down 5 weeks ago and we were promised an engineer in 10 days, yet still no one has come. I have tried ringing the customer help number a number of times but after about 1 hour 15 mins it rings off. Help!
-
johngriffiths7 (@johngriffiths7) reported from Hoddesdon, England
@virginmedia Service calls from a wifi router which is misbehaving. It isn’t clear to me that the operators are actually changing the record to prevent further calls. The number called is 01992#411972# but I have been called multiple times from 0161, 01582 and 01494 numbers. College IT told

@virginmedia @CKotselidis No, I looked on the offers and upgrades section of your website after you sent me an email saying Gig1 was rolled out across your whole network.
-
bass axis (@briseglace) reported
@virginmedia For the umpteenth time, I was told someone would come today, only to phone and be told it will be fixed tomorrow instead. AGAIN. Is anyone ever going to come round and fix this? Or am I just going to keep having the same conversations with you over and over?
-
SGPKeating (@KeatiSgP) reported
@virginmedia To be honest I’m not bothered about an investigation at this point, I just want the Maxit cancelled and nothing taken from my account. I’ll cancel the broadband asa I get a new provider and cancel mobile at the end of the contract. Had enough of Virgin.
-
Salman Ghani (@salman_ghani) reported
@virginmedia after rescheduling installation 2 times, you have changed again. There is no planning and organisation in your teams. This is how you treat people sign up for 1GB broadband. By far the worst customer service I have ever seen.
-
lfcnthat (@lfcntha) reported
@virginmedia I was on WhatsApp with the retentions team when he advised me I couldn’t cancel a new agreement as I’d already signed up (10 mins earlier) and I’d be subject to a early disconnection fee if I didn’t get the volt package
-
Andy (@Westlondon7) reported
@virginmedia Thanks for that but it doesn't resolve the issue of why the app doesn't remember my device. It could be reset today but I'd still have to keep replacing a device for the same device every time I log in
-
DavidCF1985 (@Sunbeam85x) reported
@virginmedia Is there issues with your service today? Me and my partner have had very little or no signal all day today.
-
D K (@kln_nurv) reported
@virginmedia @dannyjpalmer It is normal to have *minimum* requirements. Removing the 12 character limit would solve a lot of issues though. Usually such specific length requirements mean the password is stored insecurely. You should refer this to your development team or escalate to the device vendor.

Maureen Hendry (@Smileybyte) reported
@virginmedia Extremely fed up of everyone saying sorry. It really does not help. I would just like the service I am paying for. We both work from home so the internet is critical. It’s impossible to speak to anyone at virgin
