Virgin Media Issues Reports Near Waltham Cross, England

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Waltham Cross and nearby locations:

  • andylockran Andy 🏊🚴🏻🏃 (@andylockran) reported from Walthamstow, England

@virginmedia Your phone number just informed me that there is a problem across E11 with expected resolution time of 12.30 Surely that’s information you have available to share; rather than making customers dial in to find that out?

  • andylockran Andy 🏊🚴🏻🏃 (@andylockran) reported from Walthamstow, England

@virginmedia my internet appears to be down, and your status page appears to suggests it’s up. Any idea if there an issue? E11

  • shaomeeng Shaomeeng (@shaomeeng) reported from Walthamstow, England

@virginmedia I made a complaint in Feb 13 to dispute about the undue charges. On Mar 6 and 17, virginMedia claimed to write me a letter and Mar 18 to have emailed me, I’ve received nothin. Now virginMedia is to disconnect me tomorrow for outstanding payment. I requested to cancel just now

  • khem21766391 Khemical (@khem21766391) reported from Ealing, England

@virginmedia internets down again.. is there an outage?

  • CheukRuby Ruby Lau (@CheukRuby) reported from London, England

Internet is down since 1am this morning @virginmedia Reset hub but no use...... My virgin media showing no service outage in my area.......

  • andypurbrick Huey Morgan Gluten Freeman (@andypurbrick) reported from Walthamstow, England

@virginmedia I was told by Mark in your call centre in the Philippines that this was planned maintenance and my connection will be down until 24th - I wasn't informed this was going to happen. I need broadband to work from home 🤷

  • khem21766391 Khemical (@khem21766391) reported from Ealing, England

@virginmedia One of your service providers have just said there is a problem in the area and the internet will be down until the 23rd March... surely this can’t be correct...

  • andypurbrick Huey Morgan Gluten Freeman (@andypurbrick) reported from Walthamstow, England

@virginmedia He also refused to give me another Virgin Media telephone phone number to contact unless I closed a complaint that I wanted to make about this

  • M0BPQ Steve Bunting (@M0BPQ) reported from Walthamstow, England

@virginmedia The VM app says no service problems but I have 8MB download tonight on a 200MB service. Lots of disconnects today too. Calling 150 results in them telling me to wait for it to get better.

  • khem21766391 Khemical (@khem21766391) reported from Ealing, England

@virginmedia Yes, it says I have a good internet speed which is incorrect. As I said before, Iv contacted your customer service and one of your agents said that the internet will be down until 23rd March & that there is an outage in the area. Surely it cant take that long to correct a fault

  • andylockran Andy 🏊🚴🏻🏃 (@andylockran) reported from Walthamstow, England

@virginmedia I’m not paying you for a self-service option. I’m paying for a service you’re not delivering - the onus is on you to fix it - not me!

  • shaomeeng Shaomeeng (@shaomeeng) reported from Walthamstow, England

@virginmedia It was about a complaint made formally on Feb 13. Are you asking me to do something like a dog chasing its tail ?

  • andypurbrick Huey Morgan Gluten Freeman (@andypurbrick) reported from Walthamstow, England

@virginmedia It now says that there's a known fault in my area that will be fixed today. So, why did Mark say it was planned maintenance to be resolved on 24th and why wouldn't he share the number without closing my complaint?

  • jpmcic Jean-Paul Marc (@jpmcic) reported from Camden Town, England

@virginmedia serious issues, getting less than 18Mbps on a 350Mbps package for past 24 hours and connection drop-outs. Impacting my ability to work and very frustrating senior leadership call.

  • andypurbrick Huey Morgan Gluten Freeman (@andypurbrick) reported from Walthamstow, England

@virginmedia How can I speak to someone in the UK to make a complaint? Worth noting I'm out of contract and can switch away from Virgin anytime I like

  • AngusTeee Angus Teee (@AngusTeee) reported from Islington, England

@virginmedia Please can you explain why broadband has gone down in the London N1 area and what you are doing to remedy this? I have an urgent deadline to hit and currently have no internet access ...

  • andypurbrick Huey Morgan Gluten Freeman (@andypurbrick) reported from Walthamstow, England

Morning @virginmedia, your famously unreliable but expensive broadband service is down in Walthamstow (again)

  • jpmcic Jean-Paul Marc (@jpmcic) reported from Camden Town, England

@virginmedia No service issues showing via your website but many being reported. Is 3rd party tracking sites. Have fun the test more than 6 times today so unable to report fault.

  • Murrony Jenny Haines (@Murrony) reported from Islington, England

@virginmedia what a terrible customer service experience

  • shaomeeng Shaomeeng (@shaomeeng) reported from Walthamstow, England

@virginmedia Who can save the customers to save virginmedia? Do virginMedia have someone as supervisors to look into VM complaint team behaviours ?

Virgin Media Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • waveyx1970 Dave (@waveyx1970) reported

@virginmedia yet again my 350Mbps broadband is operating between 20 and 56Mbps. This is causing issues for my daughter’s on line A level lessons now. Virgin this is a joke and no one seems to care!

  • Ayresie_ Ayresie (@Ayresie_) reported

@iambaddiee @virginmedia used a different cable, Im not gonna try fix anything now though, just gonna wait until virgin media see it so I can show proof that its actually **** lmao

  • Ebb1 Eb (@Ebb1) reported

@Jcobleuk @virginmedia Time to vote for Virgin Media customer service. Retweet for a fair representation.

  • tiaralove_uk Jill (@tiaralove_uk) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@virginmedia Been trying to cancel account for weeks, moving house very soon. Do I disconnect equipment when I leave and cancel DD! Appalling customer service, will now not be using Virgin at new house.

  • villa_sol21 James (@villa_sol21) reported

@officialrobert0 @virginmedia Never had this happen to me and my bill is going up again. They also make it hard to find a deal on the website when you already have an account. I'm surprised @Ofcom haven't cracked down on this kind of thing yet

  • Leeds_Demon E K D (@Leeds_Demon) reported

@Keir_Starmer @SteveTheQuip Maybe tech & internet companies can help out a bit more. The Govt, can't force businesses, such as @virginmedia to provide free internet access, although a fair few have reduced prices.

  • ScanlanWithAnA Michael S (@ScanlanWithAnA) reported

Despite cancelling with @virginmedia two weeks ago, we keep getting phonecalls offering to knock the price down. Top tips, lads, if you'd made that offer first time around, we wouldn't have cancelled. Don't make customers jump through hoops.

  • jackodwyer7 Jack O'Dwyer (@jackodwyer7) reported

@AntoCondon That’s it yeah, would much rather be forking out a bit for virgin media broadband at least that works consistently. Eir is brutal and the customer service is non existent

  • iambaddiee 𝗠𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘀 𝙞𝙖𝙢𝙗𝙖𝙙𝙙𝙞𝙚𝙚 (@iambaddiee) reported

@Ayresie_ @virginmedia About time! I hope they fix it lad! Is it only your pc? Have you tried another new cable? Tried that test on your phone?

  • PiersJH Piers #StayHomeSaveLives (@PiersJH) reported

@Ofcom That doesn't apply to Virgin Media's network where I can receive usable speeds. I can't on OpenReach/BT networks. Perhaps time to look into opening up the cable market?
