Virgin Media Issues Reports Near Waltham Cross, England

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Waltham Cross and nearby locations:

  • shaomeeng Shaomeeng (@shaomeeng) reported from Walthamstow, England

@virginmedia Your agents promised respectively on feb 13 and mar 6 to get back via writing; sadly I’ve heard nothing from them. You are unreliable and time wasting and now would cut off the service again due to another ‘outstanding’ bill

  • casterazucar Caster Azucar (@casterazucar) reported from Hackney, England

@virginmedia hi team, after the latest router update, none of the devices in the house can hold a consistent signal, constantly getting full signal with an exclamation (!) - any ideas on what's going on?

  • tufnelljimmy James Anderson 🏛 (@tufnelljimmy) reported from Islington, England

@virginmedia I’m afraid your service status is wrong. There is a problem and my broadband speed is a fraction of what I pay for.

  • JamesJWalsh James-J Walsh (@JamesJWalsh) reported from London, England

@virginmedia I have been “on hold” since 1851 for a customer service agent. This is kinda cementing my view of needing to leave.

  • shaomeeng Shaomeeng (@shaomeeng) reported from Walthamstow, England

@BruceBa06826486 @virginmedia Why would virginMedia CEO hire the bullying to treat the customers like this ?!

  • bobster76 Robert Beahan 💙 (@bobster76) reported from Hertfordshire, England

Hi @virginmedia, my tv service isn’t working. Are there any issues in the SG14 area, please?

  • M0BPQ Steve Bunting (@M0BPQ) reported from Walthamstow, England

@HavocTechie @virginmedia Thanks. Router has been rebooted and factory reset. I installed a wired Lan in lockdown 1 to solve poor wifi but unplugging that switch and going straight into the router doesn’t work either. Now no service at all. 😩Again.

  • mal_kaur Malkit Kaur (@mal_kaur) reported from Barnet, England

@virginmedia slow internet in NW9 - please help!

  • walshChanny Channy (@walshChanny) reported from London, England

@virginmedia Yes I did, a VM agent went through the whole event and resolved it for me. There are thousands of VM customers in a FaceBook group suffering similar problems it is called Virgin Media Customer Service.

  • Adrianmilesarch Adrian Miles (@Adrianmilesarch) reported from London, England

@virginmedia Service status says no known issues but when I call over the phone an automated message refers to intermittent problems last two days and that engineers are taking a long time to fix complex problems. Currently ok but recently every day there is a long period of issues.

  • Ethanisraelite Ethan Greenwood (@Ethanisraelite) reported from Barnet, England

@patricksturg @virginmedia This should not be posed a question rather a statement of fact. It is the worst customer service.

  • Adrianmilesarch Adrian Miles (@Adrianmilesarch) reported from London, England

@virginmedia broadband has been absolutely dire in the last few weeks. Phases of outage or sun 2mbps speeds. Anyone else experiencing similar in SE26 area? Remember it was around cold snap it got bad - maybe affected the infrastructure.

  • walshChanny Channy (@walshChanny) reported from London, England

@virginmedia That is what happened. If it didn’t happened to you it is even more strange. Do you want me to do it again and record it? In the meantime, I was contacted today and agreed a way forwards to stay with VM. It is quite hard to have to deal with bad customer care while grieving.

  • AdiStaempfli Adi Staempfli (@AdiStaempfli) reported from London, England

I understand it takes time to replace fibre optics. I don‘t understand why @virginmedia sends out messages that are plain wrong. My connection is not working, has not been working ever since Tuesday evening. Is this to avoid having to pay back customers?

  • KBHeadteacher Keith Barr (@KBHeadteacher) reported from London, England

@virginmedia any chance of connectivity @KenderSchool ... ? Any help would be welcomed, please...

  • M0BPQ Steve Bunting (@M0BPQ) reported from Walthamstow, England

I’ve had awful internet speeds for a couple of weeks from @virginmedia . (<10MB on a 200MB plan) Their call centre has said this is due to an upgrade that will take a week to complete. Which ISP do I move to?

  • bobster76 Robert Beahan 💙 (@bobster76) reported from Hertfordshire, England

@virginmedia Thanks. I’ve clicked the link but it only tells me there is no known issue. Is it possible to speak to a human being, please?

  • JKDabrowska Cllr Joanna K Dąbrowska 💙 (@JKDabrowska) reported from Ealing, England

@virginmedia @virginmedia are now denying knowledge of my complaint last month with poor BB speed and no landline for two years. In fact, Virgin deny any comms with me since 2018!! Hello @Ofcom

  • chersvacca Cherstyn Hurley (@chersvacca) reported from Barnet, England

@virginmedia what is happening, disastrous internet today, total outage for hours at a time in North London. #deadlines and #homeworking impossible with this lack of service ? No explanation or idea when it will be restored

  • debnornirn Deb (@debnornirn) reported

For 3 weeks I have been trying, unsuccessfully,to contact Virgin Media to cancel Sky Sports. They won’t answer calls and cancellations cannot be done online, only additions. Should I just cancel my direct debit altogether so that they contact me? #martinlewis

  • Airviewuk Airviewuk (@Airviewuk) reported

@virginmedia Further more none of us asked for speed boosts you decided that’s what we want and then have the nerve to say “we are investing in our network” your missing the last few words, “at your cost” your not investing in anything but greed

  • duck_photo Sophie D Photography (@duck_photo) reported

@virginmedia Only in the room it’s in. Upstairs is terrible where my office is, but I’ve no idea where I would plug in a 2nd booster that would help.

  • ShyyFaun Jazz 🏹 (@ShyyFaun) reported

Had to end my #TwitchStream early tonight because of internet issues. I hope @virginmedia can sort this out soon! Driving me mad! 😞😞😞

@virginmedia after upgrading to your 1G service in dec, I’m intermittently getting 20mbs of service. I have called your centre several times and been told that they can’t do anything. I’m a customer of 20years + please contact me before I move to another provider.

  • clare_jones12 Clare jones (@clare_jones12) reported

  • KathleenBeedles Kathleen Beedles (@KathleenBeedles) reported

@virginmedia its a complicated issue. it's not the fault of the individuals but your companies red tape. If I could cancel or reduce my package online i would, but you don't give me that option. Your staff tried their best.

  • Airviewuk Airviewuk (@Airviewuk) reported

@virginmedia Your commited to giving your customers more? Please explain how giving new customers huge discounts is in any way beneficial to me? Why as a customer am I not important enough to get the same deal? Maybe offset the “improvements” by upping new package prices instead of existing
