@virginmedia @pgee91 No, the team on the phone have not told us anything except an engineer is on site to fix issue. Meanwhile the ‘Fix estimation’ time continues to go up, and ‘An engineer is on his way’ - is he coming from the call centre in India too as has taken hours...

@virginmedia This letter was never received. No attempt to contact us was made. was initially told by Virgin that they thought the account holder had called to have the account disconnected. I have since tried to rectify the situation by calling Virgin to request our account be reconnected.

@virginmedia Yes, I did. I said that in both my posts. Three times even before and after I rebooted my router. Other people in postcodes near me are reporting the same problem. It reports back that all is well. But there’s no connection to the internet.

@virginmedia This is not account specific data. There’s a Service outage in a large area. Updates on service areas such as mine e8 service area 15. Are not sensitive. Other utilities say there seems to be an outage in your area. Call or chat for detailed information.

@virginmedia I reset my router at least four times a day. If I was to ring every time my Internet dropped out I'd constantly be on my phone. This isn't and can't be 'a fault', the service is just absolutely crap!

@virginmedia someone was meant to call me back an hour ago as I have lodged a complaint that my broadband isn’t working. Your call centre could not help and I urgently need engineer as I work from home. I will need to have compensation for taking a days leave otherwise.

@virginmedia Is shows no problem however I have had to switch the box on and off repeatedly today to make it work. If the problem can’t be resolved soon I will simply move to a different company because I am fed up with spending money on a less than adequate service.

@virginmedia Our set up day was this week then you told us our street doesn’t have virgin so it would be delayed slightly. You delayed it almost 2 months. Then when I tried to cancel you said it could be installed next week but that was lie. Then you kept calling to sell another deal

@virginmedia I have paid various amounts of money over the last few days. I keep getting cut off again! Every time I speak to a customer service advisor they tell me that I need to pay more money. I pay the extra amount then a few hours later my services are restricted again!

Well that's my Virgin Media contract cancelled. Kinda got the impression they felt threatened by this new company. As soon as I told them the price I was paying for the speed, he spent the next 20 minutes **** talking the company. Not a good look, made cancelling so much easier.

@virginmedia Cables are firmly attached. Reboot has marginally improved connection after only being able to conduct a BT wholesale speed test at around 350-400 Mbps (ookla gives a soicket error). This is still well down.

@virginmedia Hm. It gave me the option to sign in with my email and password, which it did, then asked if my device was registered. Doubt it, but I hit yes and it let me in. I’m all for top notch security on bank accounts, but this is just the bill for the telly!

@virginmedia It has, it's at least a weekly occurrence, not good when you are trying to work from home. Due to be fixed by Friday 4pm? Really? Then again last week after it came back on we were still getting texts to say the 'engineers are working to fix it' days afterwards.

Hey @virginmedia moving chat to whatsapp so that you can take almost 3 hours to respond isn't better customer service, it's a disgrace. I'd move like a shot if you didn't have a monopoly on cable.
