    @skepticmike @virginmedia Or you could argue that they were trying it on pitching a £97.50 charge and that the unwary would have just paid. Too many companies do this and then back down after a phone call. Real customer care is offering your existing curlers the best deal available by default

    @RogerProtzBeer @virginmedia It means you're with a **** ISP Roger! Try the Martin Lewis website tool for switching. Many offer better service and at a lower cost. Virgin get consistently poor reviews-spend all their time/money on silly tv ads rather than customer service.

    @virginmedia Terrible customer service. My broadband is down until 13/04 but VM can provide no replacement service (like BT) and even worse can't provide me an email to confirm the outage dates for my employer! If you work from home BT must be the way to go!
