@virginmedia There was a fault- already checked. Need to know why this keeps happening - paying £63 a month for a service that hardly ever works!

@virginmedia Looping this conversation back into noisy, bottomless support channels and forums isn't gonna cut it. I am fed up from wasting my time waiting on hold for 45-90 minutes only to be told "we've already told you engineers are coming, bye." This is infuriating.

******* typical. Self isolating & my @virginmedia Internet & TV have gone down due to some issue in the area. Had just started working my way through season 8 of #SilentWitness.

@thealisonedgar I would understand if they offered a service and I was choosing not to take it. They can’t offer a connection in London - it’s not the outer Hebrides. Leaves a bitter taste. Will never go back to @virginmedia

@virginmedia are you actually kidding?? Service down for #LineofDutyFinale (and not going to be fixed until the 5th May)

@virginmedia There's always engineering work. It resolves a drop in the bucket when there are reported outages every. Single. Day. Not being hyperbolic. We were told we need to call and document every issue. So we do. Every day the automated message says engineers are coming. It's a joke.

@LDesesperes @virginmedia Customer service is terrible, no point in making a complaint as they say they'll contact you to discuss but never bother. As soon as an alternative option comes to our address we are leaving

I love @virginmedia ‘s new initiative to get customers to reduce screen time and experience world. As a customer you will be connected to Virgin Media wireless whenever available and have absolutely no data at all.

@virginmedia Considering I’ve experienced multiple internet and TV issues over the last few weeks (whilst trying to work from home) it would be appreciated to see some compensation on next months bill

@virginmedia As I said, I am aware of the contract - however it reflects very poorly from a customer service perspective. You can’t offer a service to the capital city and want to charge me for your lack of coverage. Shocking business practise. #avoid #ripoffbritain @bbcone

@virginmedia Yeah, there are outages. Every single day. I can't remember a day WITHOUT an outage. The only reliable part of my wifi is that my colleagues expect it to be painful talking with me. It's embarrassing. Contract ends in October. You're gonna charge me £250 to leave. I've tried.

@virginmedia I am not disputing the validity. I am stating that this is dreadful customer service. You cannot offer a connection and therefore I have no alternative. This is reflective of your lack of coverage. The poor customer service certainly means I’ll never be back. A very bitter taste

Terrible customer service from @virginmedia . Don’t offer coverage at my new house and want £250 to cancel my existing connection. Would be happy to take it with me but they can’t offer a service (that should be their issue not mine). #dreadful #avoid

@MartynJohnPR @virginmedia I’m half way through an 18month contract - so it would be slightly more to let in run out. So frustrating as they’re saying it’s a disconnection fee but are the ones forcing me into it as they don’t offer the service

@virginmedia Conversations with the customer service department are painful, the last time I was passed around 4-5 people and cut off several time when they couldn’t solve - so I would prefer to sort without having sit on phone for hours.

@virginmedia after having maintenance carried out in our area which resulted in our internet never coming back online, we have to wait 48 hours for an engineer? As a network engineer I understand things go wrong but if I told my customers they need to wait, I'd get a kicking!
