  • Barchetta66
Helen Pinkers (@Barchetta66) reported from Islington, England

@virginmedia So that’s it. We’re still no closer to solving this issue than we were when it went down at the beginning of the week. Absolutely dreadful service.

  • MannyMontanaro
Manny Montanaro (@MannyMontanaro) reported from Enfield Lock, England

@virginmedia The @virginmedia box has completely broken down since yesterday & we can’t watch TV. My broadband is also affected. I’m a fairly new customer & I’ve had constant issues since moving from @sky I’ve now got to wait until Saturday before a technician can come & repair everything 👎🏼

  • PatricioSimone2
Patricio Simonetto (@PatricioSimone2) reported from Tottenham, England

@virginmedia wifi doesn’t work. It’s impossible to get in touch with them in the phone. The worst internet service I have had…

  • Mrspdyer
Peggy Dyer (@Mrspdyer) reported from Barnet, England

@virginmedia Of course I have. My email is correct on online account. I get email bills correctly. But my complaint file has an extra character to email address and so I’ve never received acknowledgment of my complaint.

  • Editmonster
Stewart Daniels (@Editmonster) reported from Walthamstow, England

@virginmedia got a bit of issue which has been doing on for two weeks and now been told it need to go to Networks Team , is there anyway of knowing when this repair will happen

  • BBLn15
Helen Reihill (@BBLn15) reported from Hackney, England

@virginmedia Please as I have been paying for service

  • andy_s_battle
Andrew Battle (@andy_s_battle) reported from East Ham, England

@virginmedia Just spouting corporate line does not improve the situation. No advanced notice, no resolution to problem, appointment missed, but if I am not here for a visit I am fined. This is very one sided for a service that has other companies wanting the business

  • MiraBur44156853
Mira Burton (@MiraBur44156853) reported from Tottenham, England

@virginmedia It went down about 45mins ago again and came back about 20mins later.

  • kmirandalondon
    carlos miranda 🇪🇺 🇺🇦 no🌍b 🕷 (@kmirandalondon) reported from Tottenham, England

@virginmedia @NatGeoUK "We hope to fix this by 25 January at 16:00" But what's this? Do you really imagine a world where people don't have to work and can stand all your frequent service disruptions? #daylight_robbery

  • elmah69
Elmarie Hahn💙 (@elmah69) reported from Ilford, England

@LutzSchueler @virginmedia worst customer service ever. Orders changed without notification and unable to make contact with a human to discuss problem.

  • stuart_foy
foy (@stuart_foy) reported from Haringey, England

lying in bed and I've just realised I can't turn off my lights because @virginmedia has been down since I got home. this is the future, lads

  • silvergoatish
The waving mechanical roadgoat™ (@silvergoatish) reported from Enfield, England

@virginmedia why can I not get through to speak with your customer services? The 1st time, the call centre cut me off. 2nd time the phone options didn't work. Your online Quick Pay is not working. I just want to pay my broadband bill 🤷🤷🤷

  • angelstorm13
Ella A Cutler (@angelstorm13) reported from Hatfield, England

Virgin WiFi is up and down all the time, but now it's really down and not working. Can't even turn on my Alexa smart lights so stuck in the dark and soon landlines will be WiFi so that won't work either. @virginmedia #noservice

  • MannyMontanaro
Manny Montanaro (@MannyMontanaro) reported from Enfield Lock, England

@virginmedia I won’t hold my breath fir that to happen. By the way, will @virginmedia still send me an invoice even though I’ve had no TV and ultra slow #broadband for a week? I think I already know the answer to that 🤔👎🏼

  • paulstevenlewis
Paul Lewis (@paulstevenlewis) reported from Mill Hill East, England

@virginmedia So you cancel the service months if not years before the 4G replacement is a really extensive alternative, while increasing your prices and telling customers “sorry, but that’s tough”. I understand your team is just at the sharp end dealing with flack, but that’s really bad of VM

  • wesleyddolly
Wesley Dolly (@wesleyddolly) reported from Ilford, England

@virginmedia Done this when I can’t give account or anything they say can’t help you don’t think I tried this first

  • andy_s_battle
Andrew Battle (@andy_s_battle) reported from East Ham, England

@virginmedia But cutting people off to enforce this is unethical, besides no previous communication has indicated this and the solution is not convenient with where they want to do this and no suggestion to reposition my hub

  • marcones87
marco salamone (@marcones87) reported from Tottenham, England

@virginmedia n22 my line is down, this issue is due for the weather?

  • AussieHarj
Have you met Harj? (@AussieHarj) reported from Walthamstow, England

Virgin Media you suck! Going down as England start to choke in the run chase. Switched to BBC/ABC Radio over Sky Go 🙄

  • Griffo2018
RICHARD GRIFFITHS (@Griffo2018) reported from London Colney, England

@virginmedia Now I am told they will send me a new hub as they do think I have problems T the house . That’s why VM booked a engineer it was not me who did it . Time will tell if the goal post moves again today

    DonegalDúnedain 🇮🇪 (@DonegalDunedain) reported

@moefitzpatrick I was expecting less support tbh, but the anomaly that is FFG 90 year old voters whose only source of info is Virgin Media and RTÉ will always upset perceived public opinion.

  • Thundercurrie
    ThunderCurrie (@Thundercurrie) reported

@virginmedia what in the world is up with the wifi in Bournemouth at the moment? No fix until April 15th? I'd very much like some kind of reasonable explanation for that please...

  • AlloquiStrix
    Alloqui Strix (@AlloquiStrix) reported

@virginmedia and another update just received saying it will be fixed today. Honestly, make your mind up. The BB service is excellent when it works. When it doesn't you guys seem to take a trip to the local brewery and drink lemonde!

  • leamingtonpete
    peter davis (@leamingtonpete) reported

@ChrisWales61 @virginmedia I had similar, they promised me a free month when I complained, that never happened. I complained again and they said the offer had expired (huh?) I record all my calls take names and times with suppliers and on threat of ofcom/ombudsman I got my free month promised.

  • LessGrumpy
    GrumpyByName 🇮🇱 (@LessGrumpy) reported

@IanSlaterPhoto1 @BrydonN2 Absurd. One of the reasons I’ve never left virgin media is that they were the only fibre to the door operator round here till recently.

  • vp_matic
    V (@vp_matic) reported

@virginmedia Broadband down since 7am this morning. With a secluded repair date of 2days from now! ‘Register of loss of service In Order to receive compensation’ impossible to locate on your app or any of your web pages? Yet a Price increase this month! Absolutely Shameful!!

  • danielgoble
    Daniel Goble (@danielgoble) reported

@mobily_uk @virginmedia The whole point is to just get you locked into another deal. You threaten to switch and then they lower it and hope you fall for it...all while they try to upsell **** TV packages that nobody wants.

@kingoftheshed @virginmedia Virgin and Sky the Worst of the Worst mate … get on EE

  • simmo1024
    Stanley Percival Simmonds (@simmo1024) reported

@Prosperity_Inst This is a question for parents, and parents should have the ability to enforce their decision. See Virgin Media, they have the ability to block social media. Government needs to force all ISPs, especially phone service providers, do provide the same, and turn it on by default. The bill-payer (e.g. the parents) then get to choose which sites to permit. What is not required is digital ID for everyone.
