Virgin Media Issues Reports Near Waltham Cross, England

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Waltham Cross and nearby locations:

  • drewerydyke Drewery **** (@drewerydyke) reported from Hackney, England

@virginmedia Tx. What is reason for London N16 collapse of service? Your team must know that it exemplifies routine unreliability & less-than-promised bandwidth; calls into question willingness / ability to deliver service. Time to switch?

  • Mostons Paul Moston (@Mostons) reported from Enfield Lock, England

@virginmedia Fastest UK broadband. That’s a maybe, but what you fail to say is that you will suffer regular outage and won’t be able to work. But that’s ok because you’ll pay £16 compensation for hours of lost production.

  • benhollinsworth Ben Hollinsworth (@benhollinsworth) reported from Ilford, England

@virginmedia internet outage two weeks in a row. What’s going on!?

  • jon_warburton Jon Warburton. (@jon_warburton) reported from London Colney, England

You, an idiot: Darren Grimes Me, an intellectual: Virgin Media

  • scottyboy1973 Scott Brindley (@scottyboy1973) reported from Ilford, England

@virginmedia Broadband down in multiple homes on my street. I was told by your support you don't monitor your endpoints? Shocking if true!

  • jamescun James Cunningham (@jamescun) reported from London Colney, England

@doismellburning @danpalmer I have a self-hosted box with DigitalOcean in London. My use case is isolation from local networks and ISP privacy (I know I’m just moving the problem, but I trust DO more than Virgin Media). For those cases, VPN providers are a haven for data collection, so no.

  • Robertjp0121 Robert Józef (@Robertjp0121) reported from Ealing, England

@virginmedia issue with Router (wifi) — no internet and intermittent connection; pls fix this bloody issue!!!!

  • JB_CFFire John B 💙🤍🔥💥🚴‍♂️⛷⭐️🇪🇺💫☄️ (@JB_CFFire) reported from Hertfordshire, England

@Paulos_the_fog @virginmedia Because of home working I upgraded to 350mbps package and was getting that until a few months ago measured using a variety of apps - now it’s down to 80 consistently.

  • sumnjam Medan (@sumnjam) reported from Hackney, England

@virginmedia It doesn't work , now I have lost home phone service

  • RogerHighfield Roger Highfield (@RogerHighfield) reported from London, England

@virginmedia l have lost the internet - any issues in Greenwich/area 21/SE10 and, if so, when can l get my life back!?

  • damienk11 Damien Kelly (@damienk11) reported from London, England

@virginmedia broadband service in Greenwich London is shocking, hasn't been working for 1 week now and when I've rang customer services multiple times, all they try to do is up-sell me on their other more expensive packages. Terror to think we pay for this service!!!!

  • jim_dawes James Dawes (@jim_dawes) reported from London, England

@virginmedia WiFi is down in the London SE7 area yet again - that's the 3rd time this month. What's the 'engineering fault' this time, eh? Is it incompetance, apathy or a combination of the two? When will my service be resumed???

  • ChaTheGrace Charlene, RN 🌻 (@ChaTheGrace) reported from Tottenham, England

@talk2GLOBE really? even if I am here in London and my service provider is VirginMedia? Lasing ka o bangag?

  • Mostons Paul Moston (@Mostons) reported from Enfield Lock, England

@virginmedia So customer services are baffled by daily outages since July - you should advertise a “not a fault free service” expect months of business disruption , and forget working from home. Just fix the problem.

  • eatcheeselouise MarshmallowMedia (@eatcheeselouise) reported from Camden Town, England

@virginmedia This has been escalated for 5 months now. Your escalation team dealing with emergencies doing nothing. Can anyone else help on this matter ?

  • JB_CFFire John B 💙🤍🔥💥🚴‍♂️⛷⭐️🇪🇺💫☄️ (@JB_CFFire) reported from Hertfordshire, England

@Paulos_the_fog @virginmedia Yes, that is a problem but I may be able to log into the router. Thanks for your help.

  • shaspi Sharon Spiteri (@shaspi) reported from Tottenham, England

@virginmedia There’s a problem in the area apparently which is due to be fixed by 3pm. Thanks for checking.

  • drewerydyke Drewery **** (@drewerydyke) reported from Hackney, England

@virginmedia I called to register the fault but that is not an option that is available. So Virgin recognises a fault; customer just cannot register it. Flawed, no? #virginmediadown No wonder #VirginGalactic can thrive. Clever.

  • drewerydyke Drewery **** (@drewerydyke) reported from Hackney, England

@virginmedia That is the box that appears *after* clicking to register loss of service. See top line:”problem registering loss of service”. System apparently designed to avoid and flaws being found in it. Old capitalist adage:”the provider is always right”😜😎

  • NikLane7 Nik Lane (@NikLane7) reported from Hertfordshire, England

@TheStevieG123 @virginmedia I had a similar issue with EE (plus the phone wasn't a good enough upgrade for the money!) I sent it back within 14 days and got a sim only. 5g prob won't be worthwhile over here for some time yet

  • zekepictures Joe MacQuarrie (@zekepictures) reported

How is it NOT ILLEGAL @ConsumrRightsUK that @virginmedia provides no online form to cancel one's contract? I have been on hold, with chatbots, been disconnected several times? Going on 18hours now trying to cancel? WTF?

  • Evergreenbooce evergreen (@Evergreenbooce) reported

@virginmedia It didn't help, like everything else that has been suggested, the only thing I haven't tried is gluing my phone to one of the 3 masts that are around half a mile away

  • craigimore Craig More UK/California (@craigimore) reported

@virginmedia Thanks but that’s the problem it isn’t a form - it’s just a chat but that can’t help and then just disconnects after waiting for an agent - it doesn’t work

  • raaleh Riley Coin (@raaleh) reported

@virginmedia I'm afraid not. I just get taken to the normal customer landing page.

  • JerryFrostbite Jeremy Allen (@JerryFrostbite) reported

@virginmedia please stop reporting that there are no major issues in the GL52 area. Broadband has been mostly out for over 24 hours and TV is intermittent. Your phone help line says there is a problem but your website reports no problem - consistency would be great!

  • Retro_Kitty79 Kitty. No Alt text = no retweet ♿🦓 (@Retro_Kitty79) reported

@virginmedia I’m afraid not, as I don’t have a secure Internet connection at present. I’ve written to your office in Sunderland so hopefully that will sort the problem. Thank you.

  • EdwinDa18453545 Edwin Daniel (@EdwinDa18453545) reported

@virginmedia This link has nothing to show. As i said my complaint was closed by the agent promising me a settlement check. Which has not yet come. I had a total of 10 days service and 50 days of total loss of service. initially the customer reps said all will be auto compensate then backed
