Hi @virginmedia I wonder if you can help me? I'm looking to access the subtitles on a movie I have just paid to download...that essential service doesn't seem to be available? Thank you 🦋 #Deaf #deaf #HearingLoss

@virginmedia Same message that I always get. “Working to fix the problem” no indication of time. But my neighbours don’t have any issues

@virginmedia There are no issues in my area supposedly. So why I’m I told that there are issues when I call. Nobody else around has a problem. My account says everything is working. Who’s telling the truth? Feeling very vulnerable here

@virgin media every week I am having problems connecting to my tv because of the internet, can you supply me with a new router because the one I have now is so old?

@virginmedia An intermittent problem in the area (we appear to be the only one). It’s not intermittent as it’s not working. It’s beyond a joke now. Costing a fortune in data usage

@virginmedia Over a week to fix it seems ridiculous

@virginmedia We agreed after 2 years of slow service you’d upgrade my 2 TiVo boxes to V6 and bring 3 pods to cover dead zones agreed in Nov last year and after 3 missed appointments and you calling me 3 days to confirm the work to do & you still **** it up. #fuckwits

@virginmedia One of your agents said they would send across a WiFi pod (which never happened) and then we were informed that he didn’t have the ability to send them after a further call 1 month later. We were also advised they would send us a hub 4 to try and get rid of the existing hub 3

@virginmedia That’s absolutely fine, but again like mentioned before. I should not be receiving contrasting information from your employees. I can understand one isolated incident but having 2 incidents for the same issue highlights a form of incompetence somewhere

@virginmedia YOU USELESS #***** two years of problems, of no shows after no show, today was to be the day it was all sorted yet you manage to ***** up a simple install job. You confirmed to me what was to be installed yet the engineer wasn’t told! #fuckwits

@virginmedia I’ve hammered my mobile data since the internet has been down it’s costing me a fortune. I’m not even sure that the site will benefit me.

@virginmedia I don’t mind speaking to technical support and them trying to troubleshoot, but what I absolutely hated was being told contrasting information by all the different staff members in VM

@virginmedia We can’t go for a week without this. Disabled person heavily reliant. Home security compromised. Not acceptable. Nobody else has the problem. This complaint is going to escalate

@virginmedia @VirginVoyages Beware they Virgin operate and tell you one thing when you call customer services you may end up on on a 2 week cruise on the Woolwich ferry

City of London, England
@virginmedia And then told that they couldn’t do that either, all whilst being very rude on the phone for an issue with the equipment which frankly I believe is not an acceptable level of service ( I don’t expect 100% reliability - but something better than no service would be nice!)

Now going to look at changing to Sky. Absolutely unacceptable delay by @virginmedia for a week. Trying to work from home. Definitely time to go. We pay a lot of money for a service that we’re not receiving. Don’t use them

Virgin media 2nd line support have got to be one of the rudest and worst customer services I have ever ever ever spoken too. Contemplating just cancelling the service. @virginmedia

@PaulbernalUK @virginmedia I had multiple dramas with mine last year/18 months while they were doing the network upgrades, having to resort to 4G. Annoying. Once all the pain is done & you get gigabit broadband using your own router/mesh system & the superhub as just a modem it’s staggeringly good.

@virginmedia WiFi down again, told there is an issue with router and need to monitor it for up to 7 days - working from home and my employer (rightly so) won’t accept that. Paying £70pcm totally unacceptable. Please call me back.

@Garyw_ @LisaForteUK I personally left Virgin Media after finding out they store passwords in plain text and consider this something that doesn't need changing. I would wager that if people lost something they cared about then reputational damage would occur.

The Virgin media wi-fi system on the London tube is embarrassingly bad The network engineers should be kneecapped for crimes against the internet world

@zeinanao @EE @virginmedia is O KAY, but when they stop working tell them if you expect to be compensated. They'll be there providing no service for hours/days giving no compensation unless you mention it. They are good while they are working though. Can handle HEAVY use.
