    @virginmedia It has just come back on. The annoying thing is your website said no problems, so I went through the usual, unplugging, checking cables etc. only for the website to be updated later. I should have learned by now.

    So @virginmedia won't let me leave our contract despite their service continually crashing or not providing the speed it promises. Ultrafast broadband but getting nothing or 9mb download. Fed up with it now. Avoid them at all costs. #VirginMediaoutage #broadband

    @virginmedia Broadband down again this morning in SE London, got through to customer services and they advised the outage expected to be fixed by 12th April. No compensation offered and I would have to pay a penalty to cancel my contract.

    @jeffsprogress @virginmedia @Hyperoptic I was with Hyperoptic for 4 years, not a single outage I can recall. Swapped to Virgin Media last autumn because they offered a cheaper and better deal. Had nothing but problems since. And now they have the temerity to hike the bills. When I can swap back to Hyperoptic, I will.

    @TfL why is the 4G signal on the Central line underground only around the posh area's of Notting Hill Gate, Queensway and Holland Park? Since @virginmedia stopped their WiFi in April it's annoying that a major metropolis like London has no internet connections on a lot of lines

    Just how **** are Virgin Media...my email was down for two evenings and probably the days as well earlier in the week, and now it's down again. Virgin Media i need to access my emails....this level of service is unacceptable. I'm paying for this crap service! @virginmedia

    @ameehan71 @virginmedia All new and reconnected. 200mb then next day nothing, comes on for a day then drops to 10mb. Talk to customer service and they don't have a clue. They also want over £400 for me to leave. Worst service I've ever known

    @virginmedia No. It crashes every day of every month. Your engineer advised there is a small local fault but 'Virgin will probably not seem it big enough to fix'. No phones are answered. The online help does not fix issues. Shocking service

As I understand it, if you complain to the CISAS/ODR there are various fees associated with that for Virgin Media (around £400), so if everyone who they refuse to provide customer service to follows that route then they will be forced to improve their customer service.

    @virginmedia Diabolical ... we're all down and when a neighbour got through on the phone she was told an engineer would make contact in 4 hours. It is a TOTAL nightmare for those of us who are working from home let alone domestic use. I really wish we'd not joined you in November
