@virginmedia I spent over an hour on hold today trying to speak with someone about cancelling. I ended up having to put the phone down. How an earth can I cancel my contract if the only way to do it is by calling and you don’t answer the phone?!

@Thecarmagdriver @virginmedia 1) ISP hardware is total shite (Virgin in Particular) don’t use it. It is worth what you paid for it £0. 2) Draytek router and Ruckus wifi (connected via Cat6) is what you need to distribute throughout house (a single WiFi point is never going to work)! 3) it will cost money!

@virginmedia Yes after a 5 hour outage during a key work time did me it came back up. But I’m more disappointed in the delay in customer service response time.

@EE hi there why has the broadband internet become so poor recently. When I switched a few months back from @virginmedia the signal was always reliable around 50 to 60mbps never dropping out. Recently keeps dropping out to below 2mbps which is the reason I switched from virgin.

@virginmedia right I’ve just about had enough of virgin customer services. Cancelled service on 10 December. Today find out account is live after logging in. On hold four times for over 45 minutes. Latest on hold for 1hr 19 minutes. Call gets answered then cut off! What the hell

@virginmedia I upgrade to v5 router but now need Wi-Fi pods resetting but I need to give serial numbers of pods but a) these are long details b) your call quality from 150 is crap and difficult for either to hear… I tried using WhatsApp comms but no tech available! Any ideas??

Just when you think customer service at @virginmedia couldn't get any worse... proposed a 21.50 a month price increase, yet no one is actually able to explain what they're doing tech-wise to warrant the increase. Absolutely screams greed.

Getting rid of virgin media they want to charge 15 pounds Extra for nothing! the fact you have to haggle them on the phone while they are trying to hard sell you a "deal" **** that, that isn't what @Virgin should be about.
