Virgin Media Issues Reports Near Bexleyheath, England

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Bexleyheath and nearby locations:

  • SCcrowther Simon Crowther (@SCcrowther) reported from Hackney, England

@virginmedia I am not disputing the validity. I am stating that this is dreadful customer service. You cannot offer a connection and therefore I have no alternative. This is reflective of your lack of coverage. The poor customer service certainly means I’ll never be back. A very bitter taste

  • andypurbrick Huey Morgan Gluten Freeman (@andypurbrick) reported from Walthamstow, England

@LDesesperes @virginmedia Customer service is terrible, no point in making a complaint as they say they'll contact you to discuss but never bother. As soon as an alternative option comes to our address we are leaving

  • West0Lee Lee West (@West0Lee) reported from Croydon, England

@virginmedia You’d think their customer services were good according to their lovely adverts. Automation is only so good when it keeps you in a useless loop going nowhere.

  • SCcrowther Simon Crowther (@SCcrowther) reported from Hackney, England

Terrible customer service from @virginmedia . Don’t offer coverage at my new house and want £250 to cancel my existing connection. Would be happy to take it with me but they can’t offer a service (that should be their issue not mine). #dreadful #avoid

  • dwoodhouse1 Dennis Woodhouse (@dwoodhouse1) reported from Croydon, England

@virginmedia Also box with broken cabinet surrounded by Virgin media hoarding for a year with graffiti not repaired in front of ravenscroft flats Beulah bill se19

  • SCcrowther Simon Crowther (@SCcrowther) reported from Hackney, England

@thealisonedgar I would understand if they offered a service and I was choosing not to take it. They can’t offer a connection in London - it’s not the outer Hebrides. Leaves a bitter taste. Will never go back to @virginmedia

  • jeanrauwers Jean Rauwers (@jeanrauwers) reported from London, England

@virginmedia getting these emails saying “we are sorry you are leaving” but I didn’t cancel my service with you guys. Should I be worried about it?

  • mariobucolo Mario Bucolo (@mariobucolo) reported from London, England

@virginmedia i have an issue on my broadband...just 2 after i complaint against a openreach engineering. what a coincidence!

  • IanBorrett ian (@IanBorrett) reported from Lambeth, England

@Jay_Kay_Pea @virginmedia I've never encountered a company where it is so difficult to speak to an actual person.

  • dwoodhouse1 Dennis Woodhouse (@dwoodhouse1) reported from Croydon, England

@virginmedia @libertyglobal why don’t all your roadsidecabinets identify them as Virgin media with a cabinet ID and location postcode written on them and a QR code link /website to report problems with them hardly rocket science mr fries ceo liberty global is it

  • West0Lee Lee West (@West0Lee) reported from Croydon, England

@virginmedia Hi. I tried the link and it put me through to the chat system. I did all the preamble and then was picked up by Snehasish who basically told me I’ve got an engineer arriving Friday. Let’s hope! Thanks for your help.

  • Ean_I Ean Irwin (@Ean_I) reported from Sutton at Hone, England

@virginmedia 2 minutes to go in the Champions League final and everything has gone down! Expected fix time 16:00 tomorrow. Are you serious!

  • N19Local N19 Local (@N19Local) reported from Islington, England

@virginmedia Virgin Media services - you should treat existing customers as nicely as you do new customers.

  • SCcrowther Simon Crowther (@SCcrowther) reported from Hackney, England

@MartynJohnPR @virginmedia I’m half way through an 18month contract - so it would be slightly more to let in run out. So frustrating as they’re saying it’s a disconnection fee but are the ones forcing me into it as they don’t offer the service

  • West0Lee Lee West (@West0Lee) reported from Croydon, England

@virginmedia This is getting boring now. Contacted customer services to be told a Virtual Technician would ring me by 18:00. I wasn’t holding out any hope. So far been without TV or Broadband for 10 days with so called engineers never turning up to replace equipment. I give up !!!!!

  • feyipuk Phil (@feyipuk) reported from Crayford, England

@virginmedia Signal as a whole; router drops to less than 1kbps and remote IP changes like it's trying to reconnect. A power cycle seems to correct it but think I'll need some watchdog program and remote switch to do that if the signal drops and I'm away from the house.

  • kentsoc david (@kentsoc) reported from Bromley, England

@virginmedia I want a U.K. phone number not 150 where I can talk to someone who’ll actually listen and understand my frustrations snd give me a decent service

  • IanBorrett ian (@IanBorrett) reported from Lambeth, England

Anybody want to hear about how awful @virginmedia are? No, didn't think so. It's old news.

  • kentsoc david (@kentsoc) reported from Bromley, England

@virginmedia I want to speak with an agent in the U.K. The bad line and my hearing make it very difficult to understand your colleagues in other Asia

  • SCcrowther Simon Crowther (@SCcrowther) reported from Hackney, England

@virginmedia As I said, I am aware of the contract - however it reflects very poorly from a customer service perspective. You can’t offer a service to the capital city and want to charge me for your lack of coverage. Shocking business practise. #avoid #ripoffbritain @bbcone

@virginmedia We don’t use a wired connection and we won’t be as it’s not practical. Internet has cut out again this morning. This needs investigating asap please.

  • Ivl5o lvl (@Ivl5o) reported

@virginmedia can you please investigate the issue you are having with connections to the game eve online. many users are experiencing this issue.

  • CCP_Explorer CCP Explorer (@CCP_Explorer) reported

@EvilBarty @virginmedia Confirmed, happening to a number of Virgin Media UK customers and not to other EVE players. Your senior network administrators, Virgin, responsible for peering and BGP need to get involved and work with Cloudflare (and possibly Telia) to find out what's happening.

  • jcant30 Jeanne C (@jcant30) reported

@virginmedia #unhappycustomer I don’t know what Virginmedia was upgrading in our area (N14) on 23rd Feb but since then I am having problems with my internet connection. The network keeps dropping on and off. I never had this problem before this work was done 😡😡😡

  • jasminefaife jasmine (@jasminefaife) reported

@virginmedia And why have we been billed £91.50 when the service still hasn’t been activated? If we’re paying for some kind of service, the Complaints team can do something about it

  • IanMarsdenGB Ian Marsden (@IanMarsdenGB) reported

@virginmedia Also I was told any proce rise would not affect any fix 18 month guaranteed price as I have several emails confirming this I will show you on here now

  • Looby_Lou80 Louisa U (@Looby_Lou80) reported

@virginmedia ...and therein lies my problem. I just can't get through to anyone. I'll try again later

  • Simonbowey1 Simon (@Simonbowey1) reported

@virginmedia Still waiting over 48 hours for a call back. Is it any wonder that your customers are leaving with the service they receive

  • RooPatel82 Roopa (@RooPatel82) reported

@virginmedia Nothing is helping. The connection comes and goes daily. Everyday there is an issue and nothing gets sorted. Awful service. You only send an engineer if the problem is more than 24 hours. How is this possible when it comes and goes. We have done all the tests you suggested!

  • typoRich Richard Penn-bourton (@typoRich) reported

@virginmedia @virginmedia I totally get the process it the process first time was never completed and resulted in people lying about what had happened so please excuse my lack of faith. A little customer respect and understanding goes along way
