-
Renee Doegar (Cohn) (@ReneeDoegar) reported from Lambeth, England
@virginmedia wifi down in Brixton (SW2). It says you’re not getting it fixed until tomorrow?! Any chance it will be done sooner than this? It’s a pretty vital resource for many of us right now!
-
Shane Pender (@silverback1809) reported from Bromley, England
@virginmedia @virginhelp my other half has had 2 phone calls this morning saying our internet/router will be going down in 4hrs as we need a new box or router? Is this genuine? Also any chance some1 will come back to link us up to our own connection and not next doors?
-
Renee Doegar (Cohn) (@ReneeDoegar) reported from Lambeth, England
@niamhskinner @virginmedia Unfortunately it’s still out in SW2 for me. The time they are suggesting a fix keeps getting later and later. I have no idea how big of an issue it is, but it’s taking a rather long time to repair!
-
Cameron (@camjwall) reported from Lambeth, England
@virginmedia No, unsurprisingly almost 48 hours later the issue is resolved. Would have been nice to receive some communication. Can you provide details on compensation arrangements.
-
Steve Bunting (@M0BPQ) reported from Walthamstow, England
I’ve had awful internet speeds for a couple of weeks from @virginmedia . (<10MB on a 200MB plan) Their call centre has said this is due to an upgrade that will take a week to complete. Which ISP do I move to?
-
Karen Louise 💙💞🌈🙏 (@chinaheart7) reported from Dartford, England
@Matthew_Wright @virginmedia Go to BT. Never had any BS from them.
-
Steve Bunting (@M0BPQ) reported from Walthamstow, England
@HavocTechie @virginmedia Thanks. Router has been rebooted and factory reset. I installed a wired Lan in lockdown 1 to solve poor wifi but unplugging that switch and going straight into the router doesn’t work either. Now no service at all. 😩Again.
-
James Anderson 🏛 (@tufnelljimmy) reported from Islington, England
@virginmedia I’m afraid your service status is wrong. There is a problem and my broadband speed is a fraction of what I pay for.
-
Renee Doegar (Cohn) (@ReneeDoegar) reported from Lambeth, England
@virginmedia Yes there’s been an issue logged in SW2 since yesterday morning at 11. Any idea how serious an issue it is?

-
Shane Pender (@silverback1809) reported from Bromley, England
@virginmedia Oh good just thought it was a strange one as I’m pretty sure you’d email/text that kind of information. Any news on the other issue mentioned?
-
Shane Patrick Cullinan (@musofunk) reported from Lambeth, England
. @virginmedia you need an honest statement about the situation in South London now. For lonely elderly people to lose TV for 2 DAYS is isolating & cruel when it’s possibly the only company they have. Do better. Communicate. Be honest. Get a resolution. #virginmedia #London
-
tim (@t1m1964) reported from Camberwell, England
@virginmedia Certainly, but I would prefer not to in open messages for obvious reasons. Suffice to say, old, ill, no service, cancelled appointment by text.
-
Caster Azucar (@casterazucar) reported from Hackney, England
@virginmedia hi team, after the latest router update, none of the devices in the house can hold a consistent signal, constantly getting full signal with an exclamation (!) - any ideas on what's going on?
-
devanHD (@devanHD) reported from Lambeth, England
**** #virginmedia No Broadband, No Tv and No Landline #SW2. Been an hour already, sort yr **** out or lose another 200,000 customers this quarter! Up To You!
-
The Wing Commander (@philipwallingon) reported from Sutton at Hone, England
@virginmedia Eventually. I had to ask to talk to customer disconnections before I got a satisfactory response. Technician will call on Wednesday which in fairness is probably as quick a box in the post but with the benefit of a human touch.
-
Adi Staempfli (@AdiStaempfli) reported from London, England
I understand it takes time to replace fibre optics. I don‘t understand why @virginmedia sends out messages that are plain wrong. My connection is not working, has not been working ever since Tuesday evening. Is this to avoid having to pay back customers?

@virginmedia Wi-Fi on the underground doesn't work. Fails to work regardless if I choose my mobile provider/use my virgin account. Error returned mentions SSL_Invalid (certificate invalid)

@j_michaelb @virginmedia Also got this issue
-
Dane B. (@Vikingr88) reported
@virginmedia It is connected wirelessly, whilst I understand best speeds are almost always achieved via ethernet, 200kb/s wirlessly is really a poor rate to be regardless. Unreal. And fyi, it still hasn't downloaded. It has been downloading since 0915 today and still not even halfway!
-
