@virginmedia why is it when you request cancellation of service via phone and getting cut off mid call , then sending and email and also trying to chase via web chat which I also sent my request for cancellation and then move out two months later . They keep the account open 🤬

And on top of this I’ve been on a chat to complain about what happened and I’ve been made to wait over an hour for a wait time of “fifteen minutes”. This is a paid service! Never use virgin media for broadband, I’m fuming 😤

@virginmedia I’ve had two lengthy phone calls with your ‘technical support’ people; it briefly got quicker then stopped working completely. On their instructions I’ve changed some settings on my router which apparently may take 48 hours to fully take effect…

@virginmedia Absoutley disgusting customer service today, was sent round the same bot telling me to do the same things for half an hour before getting to a chat where the helper decided to take their lunch break in the middle of it and expected me to wait!!

@virginmedia a text to say there may be disruption to services is not the same as no wifi or TV since 8am and not expected back on until 4pm?! Can’t speak to anyone on the phone either! Not acceptable especially when I am having to cancel important work meetings?! Furious!

@virginmedia I then spoke to someone on Monday who told me to place another order and we’d cancel the original order which I did. That order is now parked and I have to wait for a back office team to call me. I was told that would be in 48 hours but I’ve still not heard anything.

@virginmedia Very long story I placed an order last Thursday, it was due to be delivered Friday but Virgin told Yodel to not deliver as I didn’t answer a call from the security team. I never received a call. Then I had to wait for the phone to be returned before it could be resent (1/2)

@virginmedia Well I’ve been lied to, I’ve been up-sold when I was specifically talking about being overcharged. You’ve made an error, but you won’t tell me what it was. And when I showed interest in POSSIBLY upgrading, I’m offered an inferior product BECAUSE I’m an existing customer.
