  • AdiStaempfli Adi Staempfli (@AdiStaempfli) reported from London, England

    After 10 years with @virginmedia , & after weeks of terrible WiFi & customer service, I asked they equal BT’s deal. Operator could not do that and would not let me talk to manager, nor send a message for call back. I asked x3. Operator terminated call. Poor service!

  • sevki Sevki 💉 💉🎉 (@sevki) reported from City of London, England

    .@virginmedia “we’re really sorry you’ve been having issues since 21st but rest assured we will resolve this by 1st of Dec” On the same exact call that gave a 10 day resolution time @virginmedia: “looks like your contract has ended. Let’s talk through your upgrade options”

  • joozuk Julie Compton (@joozuk) reported from Bromley, England

    @virginmedia absolutely sick of the lack of service over the weekend- trying to watch catch up and it constantly crashes, then doesn’t remember where I was actually up to. This isn’t good enough. What is going on? If it’s not sorted asap I’m off to @skytv

  • pwingers Paul Wingfield BSc CEng MIET (@pwingers) reported from Sutton at Hone, England

    @virginmedia Yes I have but the download speed is fine. The problem is that you peg the upload speeds down to 10mbs. We used to get that over copper cables. It's time to step it up a notch.

  • bultifish Nick Bultitude (@bultifish) reported from Gravesend, England

    Hmm, #Skyglass is looking like a decent option if this #virginmedia outage becomes a habit.

  • pwingers Paul Wingfield BSc CEng MIET (@pwingers) reported from Sutton at Hone, England

    Can anyone tell me why @virginmedia upload speeds are so slow? Downloads are fine but 10Mbs is ridiculous cw my friend's @BT network.

  • TerryF1010 Terry 🦇🦒🦁 (@TerryF1010) reported from Bexleyheath, England

    Afternoon,Placers, although I suspect that we might be a bit thin on the ground today thanks to the Virgin Media outage. And either that bloke is 8' tall or that lady is a Borrower. #APlaceInTheSun

  • pwingers Paul Wingfield BSc CEng MIET (@pwingers) reported from Sutton at Hone, England

    @virginmedia To be fair, the TV is better via Virgin and download speeds are good too (most of the time) but you fall down on broadband reliability, upload speeds and landlines costs.

  • Brad_Rudge Brad Rudge (@Brad_Rudge) reported from Croydon, England

    @virginmedia can you sort out your so called TV service. Keep losing and regaining signal and its not just me either!

  • JeffSalmon Jeff Salmon (@JeffSalmon) reported from Camden Town, England

    @virginmedia @virginhelp I very much appreciate the promptness of your response. Each day but answerphone is suggesting that it’s going to be completed by 3 pm (thats for the past three days) but it never is. In short, I want to know whether the problem’s in my home or “in the area“. Cont

  • JeffSalmon Jeff Salmon (@JeffSalmon) reported from Camden Town, England

    @virginmedia @virginhelp Most importantly I’ll be grateful if you would answer the issue that I cannot get a human to respond. The only time that there is a human option is when one wants to press the button to leave for Virgin.

  • pwingers Paul Wingfield BSc CEng MIET (@pwingers) reported from Sutton at Hone, England

    @virginmedia 100mbs download is fine, but 10mbs upload is silly in this age. It's too slow for uploading to YouTube.

  • EntertainerJoel JoelTheEntertainer (@EntertainerJoel) reported from Redhill, England

    Virgin media services are down my internet is okish! Can’t access to the virgin media websites to find out what’s going on! Only to find out on virgin media tweets that there is a problem everywhere and is currently fixing it as I tweet!

  • AdrianLiard Ade Liard (@AdrianLiard) reported from Bromley, England

    @virginmedia Apart from a pre-recorded message..Any updates on repairs on BR6 0AE..Outage running to about 3hrs!!

    @virginmedia 02038271376 is this one of your numbers been getting calls for 3 days saying there virgin and problem with my internet!!!

  • AdamJT99 Adam Thomas (@AdamJT99) reported from Bromley, England

    @virginmedia Yes. But that didnt stop you charging me for a full month even though i didn't have service for a full month. Your customer service is appalling, I've complained for years and you make no change or comoensation. You don't care one iota for your customers.

  • sevki Sevki 💉 💉🎉 (@sevki) reported from Camden Town, England

    @virginmedia I’m not hopeful. You have given a 10day lead time for a fix. It’s been 6 days and my connection is still unusable. I just had to switch to 5g again. I genuinely don’t get what could possibly cause a 10 day lead time. 10 days without internet when I still have to wfh

  • thomasdmatthews Thomas Matthews (@thomasdmatthews) reported from Islington, England

    @virginmedia no Internet in WC1X? Service has been so shite of late. What's the deal?

  • AdiStaempfli Adi Staempfli (@AdiStaempfli) reported from London, England

    @virginmedia Rather loose a long-standing customer then?

  • 190Colditz 190Colditz (@190Colditz) reported from Sutton at Hone, England

    @virginmedia The Broadband is down in our postcode. Your fault system says there is no fault and asking each resident to log a call out which is nonsense. DM me and I’ll give you full postcode so you can sort it out.

    @virginmedia were having issues with missing channels and an error code but cannot get through to anyone.

  • SueElli40311592 Sue Ellis (@SueElli40311592) reported

    @virginmedia Or the option to upgrade but at the cost of £71 a month. I have paid Virgin good money for 20 years and currently pay £66 a month purely for broadband and a landline and would expect better service

  • lisaxgriffin MOVING ACCOUNTS @iyungblud (@lisaxgriffin) reported

    @virginmedia my landline phones are down in ws2, any indication of when they’re gonna be back on?

  • chrisinspired Christopher Whittaker (@chrisinspired) reported

    @virginmedia @OfficialFPL Hi @virginmedia I was unable to watch the game last night as my broadband hasn’t been working for 24hrs, no outages in my area- I’ve tried reset and reboot, no luck, speeds down from 100mb to 4mb- what do you advise?

  • Meh_Kat KJ Lewis ⓥ (@Meh_Kat) reported

    @virginmedia @JustinTheHobo Hi team I don’t think it’s a connection issue. Other websites are fine, I game online a lot and that’s fine, our household is online all day, doing all sort of things online. It’s your website that has issues, sorry….🙄

  • Sherl06303 David Holmes (@Sherl06303) reported

    @virginmedia Not totally scientific but it appears to be on the lesser sports channels and movie channels when you might expect them to be “busy” (ie when there’s something worth watching). Signal boost/bandwidth?

  • MaisieFennerx 𝐌𝐀𝐈𝐒. (@MaisieFennerx) reported

    @virginmedia Very frustrating for such a large company to have a poor customer service experience multiple times. Hopefully it will be resolved, but I need to dispute my final payment as I have been charged for wifi and a late payment despite trying to cancel my contract two months ago.

  • climatesub arran (@climatesub) reported

    currently in a dance with virgin media who simply *can't* offer me as good a deal as Samsung can on the exact same network they use, apparently

  • lisaxgriffin lisa (@lisaxgriffin) reported

    @virginmedia No nothing, I can’t see any issues on the status website but no issue with the actual phones they were working just last night.

  • GarryLynch15 Garry Lynch (Owner of LTOA Taxis) (@GarryLynch15) reported

    @virginmedia No problem!
