@virginmedia No the chat ended and I couldn’t get back into it obviously finished work. I got nothing he was trying. He found the account in question but couldn’t get in with security. And again I’ll add I never set up account so I don’t know password. I’m left hanging again

  • edshots the world's most copied Edward Moore (@edshots) reported from Croydon, England

@virginmedia failed to turn up today for the rearranged date they couldn't make two weeks ago. Just turn up tomorrow, I shouldn't need to call you as it'll be the Edward Moore in Croydon you let down today.

  • feyipuk Phil (@feyipuk) reported from Crayford, England

@virginmedia I'm sorry for the two poor support staff who are trying to sell us new remote controls, routers and O2 sims - for more money - till we hit the nuclear option and say we're leaving to get what we're asking? We're loyal customers; why does it need to get to that?

  • jrseloto Francisco Soler (Jr) (@jrseloto) reported from City of London, England

@virginmedia If you were sorry, this issues was fixed long time ago…

@virginmedia letting know that my installation date is moved just before a day of the original date isn't very professional. When you guys fix yourself???

  • edshots the world's most copied Edward Moore (@edshots) reported from Bromley, England

@virginmedia The next slot was 28th April which I would not be in and so have taken 5th May. A loyal customer of about 12 years this a complete let down after arranging today from a previous cancellation on your company's part.

  • jrseloto Francisco Soler (Jr) (@jrseloto) reported from City of London, England

@virginmedia 11 May - which of course i will cancel today as I’ve had enough of this. too much stress and no TV or internet for 30 days

  • haniehvidmar Hanieh Vidmar (@haniehvidmar) reported from Paddington, England

@virginmedia I need to urgently speak to someone regarding an account! And the fact that you’ve non stop taken money out of the account and refuse to refund as well as cutting the service off when you’ve had payment

  • KikassP kikassPhotography(official) 🇬🇧🇺🇦 (@KikassP) reported from London, England

I've just had to suffer the same 4 songs,1 a poor cover of 'Where my Rosemary goes', on a loop, in 2,45 mins of waiting for @virginmedia to pick up. Within 10 mins of engineer fixing fault, its playing up again. Its also the end of my contract so I want to deal with it.

  • blue_murdock Ritch Zablan (@blue_murdock) reported from Camberwell, England

@virginmedia Hello.. wifi has been mostly down since last week. Been resetting several times a day. What is going on in SE22 area?

  • kevinri00714924 kevin richardson (@kevinri00714924) reported from Poplar, England

@virginmedia So someone fraudulently set up an account in my name. Because I don’t know the password to something I didn’t set up I’ve now spent 5 hours on the phone to 5 different @virginmedia reps and a debt recovery letter. Never use @virginmedia #badcustomerservice #stress

@virginmedia It says there aren't any known issues but we have been struggling with it for the last few years - the service is just getting worse!

  • RobertSSmith66 Robert Smith (@RobertSSmith66) reported from Sutton at Hone, England

@virginmedia any chance you can get your website to work? Change Package Chat does nothing! Links sent via mail do not work! Hyperlink sent by text doesn’t work! Call centre (working from home in India?) worse than useless! Ever heard of Customer Centric design? #Useless

@virginmedia I'm trying to cancel as I'm moving and asked for confirmation which was not provided , the duty manager refused to speak with me when I tried to escalate

  • iamnotthelotus Geoff Low (@iamnotthelotus) reported from Redhill, England

Usual brilliance from VirginMedia, announce via SMS that they will be working in the area on the 13th and internet may be unstable, it was fine all day. Today however....

Virgin Media Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • UKPassivhaus UKPassivhaus.com (@UKPassivhaus) reported

@virginmedia 18 months of regular 75 minute phonecalls complaining about you overcharging, manager finally refunds me as I closed my account. 6 months later? Still arguing regularly with a foreign call centre who apparently never have a manager present. Where's my £168 please?

  • StarmerGone #PreventStarmerPM 🇵🇸🇺🇦🇪🇺 #GeneralStrike (@StarmerGone) reported

@virginmedia If you think I'm accepting a more than TWENTY EIGHT PER CENT increase for the same service, you must be on drugs!

  • bts_views Stewart Walker (@bts_views) reported

@virginmedia - experiencing intermittent broadband, advised outage and scheduled fix is 29/3 - 6 days from now. Pretty poor show esp with price increase imminent

  • jgoldingay James goldingay (@jgoldingay) reported

@virginmedia It’s basically a speed issue and the lack of signal in the rest of the house. We only have the lounge that has signal (where the router is). We are toying with the idea of a mesh system to solve the latter, but only if the first issue is solved

  • UKPassivhaus UKPassivhaus.com (@UKPassivhaus) reported

@virginmedia I am currently in a webchat that is taking a very long time. I would like a phone call from the English manager who issued the refund as I am tired of arguing with people who don't understand what the problem is because English is their second language. I've had 18 months of it.

  • Maria_Manninen Maria Manninen (@Maria_Manninen) reported

@virginmedia I have checked several times today, this is the latest. At moments it claims there are no issues, at moments it gives an estimated fix time but is it has been constantly changing the last two days I don’t have much confidence in what it says

  • JimSymonds Jim Symonds (@JimSymonds) reported

@virginmedia so despite 2 promises in writing from your customer services that the dangerous manhole cover would be fixed by lunchtime today, no-one has even been to look at it. Are you just waiting till someone is seriously injured?

  • Evs74Alex Alex Evans (@Evs74Alex) reported

@virginmedia a 21% price rise?!! Are you sure? And then offer “help” including payment plans or “reviewing” my package. We’re done.

  • HayleyBelfast Hayley Allen (@HayleyBelfast) reported

@virginmedia Can I get out of my contract due to poor service. It’s always been bad but significantly worse/ non existent since change to O2

  • ErichtJohn JohnBoyle (@ErichtJohn) reported

@virginmedia. My parents live in their own home and you provide their landline service (I manage their account because of their age - 97 and 96). I’ve been away but discovered 2 days ago their phone is ‘number not recognised’. I cannot contact you neither can my sister.
