    So @virginmedia have said a broadband outage since last night will be fixed by 12:25, 17:00 now by 20:10! Very disappointed. Going to be paying extra for my mobile data to try to get some work done! #N4

    @mac1882thfc @SkyHelpTeam @virginmedia Been with @virginmedia in the past & had loads of issues with them in my area unfortunately & the hiking up on charges was not helpful despite being a loyal customer of 16 years & poor customer services attitude.

    Predictably depressing experience calling @virginmedia to cancel contract this afternoon. *On hold for several mins. * Offered £2 off contract monthly by automated answer phone message when I navigate through phone menus saying I want to leave. Say no on touchpad.

    @virginmedia Thanks but that’s not much help. I think another provider is the solution. Your customer service dept know about this feedback but don’t use it to invoke change. I’ll be voting with my feet and leaving my 20years of custom with you. There is power to change, but not the will.

    @virginmedia Its okay. I got through and was told would have to wait another two weeks minimum to get a team back out. Contacted @bt_uk and within an hour I had a new deal and it was extremely professional. I will in touch once I get an install date to cancel my contract. Sad it came to this

    @virginmedia So thinking this through. There is a wire come undone somewhere in the exchange. How come it takes so long to find it and connect it again? I worry that since there are not many people affected in the postcode area it isn’t a priority. Poor customer service.
