  • damawa42 Daniel W (@damawa42) reported from Camden Town, England

@virginmedia What app? I'm talking about tube WiFi. I've never needed an app for that before.... And I shouldn't need an app... I'm talking about the sign in page. In the past I only had to put my username and password in once in a while; now it's EVERY station.

  • damawa42 Daniel W (@damawa42) reported from Camden Town, England

@virginmedia Ha, had to be sure because in past I've had responses about tube WiFi telling me to restart the router etc... It's pretty lame that I would need an app. I really can't see how that will help, as you can't surely expect all of London to download your app just to use tube WiFi?

Virgin Media Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • terakopian Edmond Terakopian (@terakopian) reported

@stuartfreedman @virginmedia @zeninternet Good to know. Thanks. To paraphrase, Virgin’s response a couple of days ago, was akin to, we’re just as bad as the others!!!!

  • SamPlan16007005 Sam Plant (@SamPlan16007005) reported

@virginmedia Called them twice already, was told it had been escalated but heard nothing back. Also submitted a complaint. General outcome you never take any action just waste my time.

  • terakopian Edmond Terakopian (@terakopian) reported

@virginmedia Alas, third time this week, the #virginmedia #broadband is down. Unacceptable failure rate.

  • Dotts1805 Paul Dotter (@Dotts1805) reported

@virginmedia Getting about 125Mb D/L and 25Mb U/L wired (paying for 500Mb) and where I can get a wireless signal about 70Mb down and 10Mb up. Wireless dead spots in places that were fine 12 months ago with no router changes or movement and no new devices added.

  • nanoukacabra No, Nook (@nanoukacabra) reported

Jeez, the @virginmedia website is awful for checking and reporting broadband issues. It's literally just told me that there's a known issue that affects multiple customers in my area, so instead of letting me to log that it also affects me, it's asked if the router is plugged in

  • Tim80422961 Tim (@Tim80422961) reported

@virginmedia Reset yesterday evening. Ping this morning is 2.12mbps download and 22.71mbps upload. Looks like the problem is further upstream? Download has been particularly poor lately and we are not doing anything different.

  • nanoukacabra No, Nook (@nanoukacabra) reported

@virginmedia Yup, that's showing, possibly because I've reported it. The issue is that to get to the 'report an issue' stage, I need to cycle through at least two iterations of 'turn router on/off', which only serves to discourage customers reporting genuine faults

  • ALBuff1 Amy Buffone (@ALBuff1) reported

@virginmedia And how do you propose I do that when I have no signal??

  • Kevinj86 🅺🅴🆅🅸🅽 🅹🅴🅽🅽🅸🅽🅶🆂 (@Kevinj86) reported from Harlow, England

Getting bombarded with calls from someone saying they work for @virginmedia and I have a problem with my broadband - five times this week! #nightmare @Ofcom

  • pjmckee Pete McKee (@pjmckee) reported

Genuine question @virginmedia. Why might it take "between 2 and 48 hours" to reconnect a service? I'm not trying to be clever, I'm genuinely curious as to the process
