@virginmedia wi-fi down yet again for about the 5th time this week. Constantly going down over last few weeks as well, absolute shambles.

  • Andrew007Uk
Dr Andrew Fleming 🇬🇧 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 (@Andrew007Uk) reported from Sutton at Hone, England

After a mammoth session on the phone to 6 of your departments to arrange interim broadband given your service failed in Nov. & won't be fixed to March I spoke to a helpful chap called David in the Customer Care Dept before I was cut off. Can you help reconnect me @virginmedia 🙏🏻

  • befitat50
Befitat50 (@befitat50) reported from Camberwell, England

@virginmedia Guys it seems to me @virginmedia is the only one that has problems? My neighbour who uses “talk talk” has never ever had a problem.. I am tired of @virginmedia excuses and I will leave, had enough of it thou..

  • discobabe76
DragonFish 🇬🇧🇪🇺🇮🇹 (@discobabe76) reported from Sutton at Hone, England

@MayorofLondon Shame they provide the most terrible customer service and treat you like they've got you by the short and curlies! Pay £400 a year for a service, custome service agents are like robots and stuff you for days when it doesn't work with no alternative offered! @virginmedia

  • Phil_Swallow
Philip 🦅 (@Phil_Swallow) reported from Croydon, England

@redheadlass1402 @virginmedia We’ve got the business service but it’s no better. They don’t seem to have any proactive monitoring or fault prevention and pretty much don’t care. They have a 3 hour service level that passed 12 hours ago, totally useless bunch of money-grabbers

  • Andrew007Uk
Dr Andrew Fleming 🇬🇧 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 (@Andrew007Uk) reported from Sutton at Hone, England

@PaulWelsh_UK @virginmedia There is no service. 26 November reported - 6th March earliest date for works. I was past to no less than 6 different teams before finally getting somewhere and then being cut off. Anyway welcome home my friend - hope you have more luck than me!

  • Andrew007Uk
Dr Andrew Fleming 🇬🇧 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 (@Andrew007Uk) reported from Sutton at Hone, England

@virginmedia Though I am dyslexic I have painstakingly done this on multiple devices and have photos to show It - not posting them publicly but it does not recognise that password 😢 A search on line suggests the problem is not unique. I have one hour to call the manufacturer if you advice.

  • Boubs1985
Kerry Vaughan (@Boubs1985) reported from Addington, England

Aint it funny how my Internet was good as gold until @virginmedia tried to convince me to upgrade. Now its absolutely terrible 🙄

  • illymus
Illy Mus 💙 (@illymus) reported from Camberwell, England

@virginmedia so you hike our prices up and then the Internet has been awful today. Left home at 6am, just got home and still the same issue. Our landline relies on Internet and so does my 83 year old mother who uses it. Remind me what I am paying for???

  • macon1375
Mark Connolly (@macon1375) reported from Crayford, England

@virginmedia They advise they would send a signal to router, I then turn off after 5 mins, for 10 mins and when back on all will be working! Well it didn’t make a difference and my speed test shows my downloads dropped from 236mbs to 36. The issue is uploads tho at 0.5mbps. On hold again!

  • nicktippett
Nick Tippett (@nicktippett) reported from Croydon, England

@virginmedia Might I add that the last handler in pre install stated he was a 'senior' and he was incredibly rude, talking over me and trying to tell me what my problem was!

  • markrhorney
Mark (@markrhorney) reported from Lambeth, England

@virginmedia again really???? I just signed up to a flipping contract and broadband goes down again! Worst mistake. Should have went with another provider. My Plex and my security system is down. Thanks for nothing virgin. 🤬🤬🤬

  • Keldavey
hippychic (@Keldavey) reported from Bromley, England

@virginmedia @YogaBear2 Some? Everyone I know With a virgin account in Bromley having problems today including myself. Not worked all day. What's happening, have you been hacked?

  • markselondon
Mark 🌈🏳️‍🌈 (@markselondon) reported from Blackheath, England

@virginmedia Broadband down again this morning in SE London, got through to customer services and they advised the outage expected to be fixed by 12th April. No compensation offered and I would have to pay a penalty to cancel my contract.

  • nicktippett
Nick Tippett (@nicktippett) reported from Croydon, England

@virginmedia Pre install was yesterday with technician linking my house to virgin and ever since I've had no Internet from my current provider. spoke with pre install last night, and today, total of 4 handlers then cust. Service with no resolution and nobody wanting to deal with it now!

  • markselondon

@ttastev @virginmedia Website is down also I can’t get anyone from virgin media, looks like whole of U.K. is down.

  • Phil_Swallow
Philip 🦅 (@Phil_Swallow) reported from Croydon, England

Shockingly bad experience (again) from @vmbusiness @vmbusinesshelp - “upgrade” yesterday has wiped out my Wi-Fi - engineer coming next week. Couldn’t make it up, these cowboys really are the worst

  • declan1968
Declan Higgins ☘ (@declan1968) reported from Southwark, England

@virginmedia Oh yeah. Nothing that explains why it keeps happening though. Fix dates are usually meaningless. Feels like we're being rationed.

  • declan1968
Declan Higgins ☘ (@declan1968) reported from Southwark, England

@virginmedia What does an area outage mean? I pay Virgin about £150 a month for services. This is over the odds but I thought I was getting a reliable service and so went with it.

  • Weaverfooty14
Michael James Weaver (@Weaverfooty14) reported from Blackheath, England

@virginmedia is there a outage in woolwich Se18 my broadband isn't working and I can't even load up your website to try and get help?

  • MCCsboy
    Me. Iam...... (@MCCsboy) reported

@skytv has the WORST customer service possible - I advise everyone against using this service. Choose @virginmedia. Told @skytv agent x3 times to speak to manager - request refused! Rubbish products that do not work! Cancelling the lot!

  • asher_pr1nce
    Elliott (@asher_pr1nce) reported

@virginmedia my app says we're out of contract, I have tried 4 times to renew it with the same package, for cheaper and it says I'd get a email but, I've never received one. With my bill at £115+ now, I want this sorted otherwise I will shop around for better options.

  • tiger20004
    Paul Phillips (@tiger20004) reported

@nufcrichys If you are a Virgin Media customer, all three finals are free on Channel 526; no HBO or TNT subscription is needed.

  • MykeJD1
    MykeJD (@MykeJD1) reported

@saltyy_savage Virgin media personally as much as they annoy me with their prices, they have always been the most reliable, they have issues now and then but generally it works. Recently I was paying around 90 odd for gigabit, all sports, all uhd managed to get 500 now keep all sports for 72

  • IamCarrieagain
    Carrie (@IamCarrieagain) reported

@virginmedia No, you absolutely don't understand. Leave me alone. Maybe I will be well enough at some point in the future to sort this. Maybe not. Your treatment of disabled people and your withholding of key information to a customer is disgusting. I'm cut off now, thanks.

  • screwy73
    Carl S (@screwy73) reported

@virginmedia I no its not a fault free service but your faults are very regular as i said 3 to 4 times a week compared to once in a blue moon on a BT line , and when i do a check nothing wrong with my line , so it must be my router which works fine till you have a fault 🙄

  • richardsusskind
    Richard Susskind (@richardsusskind) reported

Anyone got any advice on how to get @virginmedia to help solve a problem? My WiFi and TV have not been working since Thursday and I am told the outage in the area may not be fixed until Tuesday. Hard to accept.

  • TS7319
    786 (@TS7319) reported

@Benleo @virginmedia Virgin Media couldnt fix my internet broadband after 3 engineer visit and they broke my wardrobe and i switched to EE which is better

  • IamCarrieagain
    Carrie (@IamCarrieagain) reported

@virginmedia You turned off my router remotely and you can turn it back on until I am well enough to deal with trying to set up the new one. Thought of indirect discrimination under EA 2010? How about the fact your were not up front about your service changes/consequences too?

  • scoobiesue82
    Suz (@scoobiesue82) reported

@virginmedia It is default to audio descriptive so I change it to Original Dolby Audio both via the context (…) and pressing down and along to audio & subtitles but it’s not changing anything even though it appears to select what I want
