    The problem wasn’t resolved, informed that many customers were phoning with a similar issues with BT sport. Can’t log onto the app as my WiFi is currently not working either! That’s being looked at on Friday @virginmedia

    @virginmedia I've had the issue for several months. Used to have no problems. Moving the router seems to have resolved it.

    @virginmedia I did. This is where this conversation started. The first time I tested using, it claimed all was well. Substantially it simply advised me to restart the router. It was not of any help, hence I moved the router, which resolved the issue & uninstalled the app.

    @virginmedia No. Ever since I've had broadband, the router (of which yours is my third), has been pretty much in the same place. I've had your service for maybe 3 years. The issue is relatively recent. The nearest items are 1) my PC 2) loudspeaker. 1/2

    @virginmedia She was in one location but is now on a coach heading home(UK) but has about 20hrs to go and would like the use of her phone! Her friend (on a different network!!) has worked fine since they set off. It worked on the wayout finding local networks as they travelled...

    @virginmedia Before I moved the router, I kept on losing Internet connectivity in other rooms in my one floor flat on my phone. No issue in my living room where the router is located. I would have to disconnect Wi-Fi on my phone, then reconnect. I moved the router by a about 1 foot. Now fine

    @virginmedia No. The original contract has only now been cancelled along with outstanding payment as I received no service. This is thanks to Ombudsman not VM. VM still not cancelled new contract (created without consent) despite 14 day cooling period and chasing me for payment. Complete joke

    @virginmedia @beverleyturner You can cancel your contract if they put the price up mid-contract, with no penalties. I've just done this. They tried to keep me, but not if new terms mean they'll increase their price every April! Evidently a loyal customer of 13 years, so why rip me off?!

    @virginmedia 10 plus year customer here. I have been informed that as a loyal customer that means I cannot get the best deals offered and have to keep using 7+ year old equipment. It seems my choice is to accept a lower level of service or leave virgin. Have I misunderstood?

    @virginmedia I did it via chat it was for an upgrade, after speaking to a team member on WhatsApp they said it was mismatched data and no other info, I have been a customer for a long time and confirmed my details with the agent. Phone was supposed to be delivered today so I am not happy 😞

    @virginmedia Connections and speeds are fine but the solid green light has been on for 36 hours now but is only supposed to be on whilst an update is taking place and ive actually never seen the green light before.
