  • declan1968
Declan Higgins ☘ (@declan1968) reported from Southwark, England

@virginmedia Oh yeah. Nothing that explains why it keeps happening though. Fix dates are usually meaningless. Feels like we're being rationed.

  • PJacksonClark
#TeamParkinsons Paul (@PJacksonClark) reported from Bromley, England

@virginmedia I've covered all the options; there aren't many. It tells me there are no problems in my area and then defaults to the bot chat.

  • Andrew007Uk
Dr Andrew Fleming 🇬🇧 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 (@Andrew007Uk) reported from Sutton at Hone, England

Listening to the broadband presentation on @itvMLshow with some irony. I pay @virginmedia £79/month for broadband/phone & TV. BB/TV failed in November, after many calls they say it will be fixed in March 2023 😬 Compensation is only calculated when service is restored 😪 Fair?

  • Slatsman
My Football Shirt (@Slatsman) reported from Bexleyheath, England

@virginmedia please provide an urgent update on this lengthy outage and when services will be restored #Virgin #Virginmedia #VirginMediaoutage

  • andy_s_battle
Andrew Battle (@andy_s_battle) reported from East Ham, England

@virginmedia Just spouting corporate line does not improve the situation. No advanced notice, no resolution to problem, appointment missed, but if I am not here for a visit I am fined. This is very one sided for a service that has other companies wanting the business

  • AdamHMatthews
Adam H-Matthews (@AdamHMatthews) reported from Camberwell, England

@virginmedia How does £8.40 a day cover 2 people unable to work for a full day? Still no contact from Virgin engineer or any comment on what the issue is? The time to fix the issue just keeps getting later.

  • Khaled_Miah1
Khaled Miah (@Khaled_Miah1) reported from Poplar, England

@virginmedia very disappointed with the upgrade package in being offered by Virgin. You are offering a loyal customer to upgrade to Gig1 for £51.15 whereas new customers get it for £45 p/m. Where is the loyalty?

  • befitat50
Befitat50 (@befitat50) reported from Lambeth, England

@virginmedia what’s going on again with this internet at sw4? You just can’t fix a problem? Please don’t come up with your usual excuses and fix itttttt..

  • drummerJ83
Jay Bourley (@drummerJ83) reported from Sutton at Hone, England

@virginmedia Hi, the VMGo app is telling me I need to upgrade to watch live tv but I’ve got the right package to have access and have until today watched live via the app. Is there an issue? Tried restarting it etc.

  • Champion3Claire
Claire Champion (@Champion3Claire) reported from Bromley, England

@virginmedia I think you will have to agree this is an unacceptably long time for the repair as it’s already been going on for days?? “There's a TV issue in xxx. Thanks for your patience while we work to fix things as quick as we can. We hope to fix this by 14 March at 16:00”

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • Kilsally_Redux
    Kilsally Redux (@Kilsally_Redux) reported

Virgin Media O2 is gearing up to provide wholesale access to its network to challenge the dominance of BT. But it said Openreach was seeking to “choke” off competition before it had truly begun by luring third party companies away.

  • clairebaigent
    Claire Shaw (@clairebaigent) reported

@virginmedia I will not be sending you a private message because despite repeated calls over the past 2 years you have done nothing to help or sort it out. You’re currently charging a 90 yr old man £160 for services he doesn’t use, so please don’t patronise me.

  • Rouchelle_C
    C Rouchelle 🇪🇺 (@Rouchelle_C) reported

I've been a virgin media customer for a couple of days and already had terrible customer service lol

  • citizen_first25
    citizen_first (@citizen_first25) reported

@virginmedia why have you got rid of Channel 150 that's TV does a price go down on my subscription ? As this is one of the channels, I watch every day very disappointed

  • superpaddiepads
    estevén (@superpaddiepads) reported

@LessGrumpy @virginmedia Exactly that. The quality of the broadband has never been an issue but the customer service is almost non existent. But when you base that offshore it does tend to be the case. Very polite but utterly useless.

  • Ashen33vr
    Ashen (@Ashen33vr) reported

@caulmick @Kerrytara Why are RTE, Virgin Media and Irish Times not reporting on this? Isn’t this a big news story? Shouldn’t the tax funded media be reporting on issues like this!?

  • je_durrant
    James Durrant (@je_durrant) reported

@virginmedia Im afraid I’ve have more confidence if 1. You got my name right, 2. If neighbours 3 doors down, also with you, had also lost service, and 3. As an O2 customer, I could get a half decent reception

  • TheEternalJay
    EternalJay (@TheEternalJay) reported

@TomPickering @EKOcasts @Hyperoptic Virgin Media died on me less than an hour before a broadcast...twice. Forced me to move my entire setup to a different house just so I didn't flake on my commitments. Switched to a different provider immediately after the 2nd incident. Never looked back since.
