  • Rob_Garvey FlippedAcademic (@Rob_Garvey) reported from Bromley, England

A question for @virginmedia Is it more important for an engineer to a) resolve a customer's service problem b) get to next appointment because the engineer is measured on appointments attended rather fixed? You have one unhappy customer #poorcustomerservice

  • MrGarySmith Gary Brian Smith (@MrGarySmith) reported from Dartford, England

@virginmedia By all means better start reading up on the #badcusyomerservice I’ve had since 2020 about March? Virgin still hasn’t fulfilled it resolution agreement mad back in Nov 2020 and have had to chase and hound you with up to 7 calls as staff which should be able to, can’t get it right!

@virginmedia Internet is down in BR76HH. Engineer allegedly coming Fri as it’s only one house at fault. Now a neighbour is saying that there’s outage in the whole area & 30 June is meant to be the day we get our internet back. Any advice on which VM advice to believe, please?

  • kec1964 Kate Crisp (@kec1964) reported from Grays, England

@virginmedia hi I have 2 WiFi boosters that I’ve never used and would like to return them but can’t face hanging on for hours to speak to someone on your helpline. Is there an address you can give me?

  • Gavarnos Gav Mac  (@Gavarnos) reported from Croydon, England

@PaulbernalUK @virginmedia I had multiple dramas with mine last year/18 months while they were doing the network upgrades, having to resort to 4G. Annoying. Once all the pain is done & you get gigabit broadband using your own router/mesh system & the superhub as just a modem it’s staggeringly good.

  • MrGarySmith Gary Brian Smith (@MrGarySmith) reported from London, England

@virginmedia Yeah and speak to a snr complaints Mgr which I’ve attempted 3 times, been promised a call back in 48 hours and each time never got one… seems like they’ve not been trained to use your own phones! #saynotobadcustomerservice

  • MrGarySmith Gary Brian Smith (@MrGarySmith) reported from Dartford, England

Beware anyone thinking of joining @O2 they’ve just hiked up their rates and limited free data total usage when in Europe #ripoff also just merged with @virginmedia so expect the service to fall of a cliff when the call centres are rerouted to virgins Singapore call centres

  • citigirly lisa sibley (@citigirly) reported from London, England

  • MrGarySmith Gary Brian Smith (@MrGarySmith) reported from Dartford, England

@virginmedia YOU USELESS #***** two years of problems, of no shows after no show, today was to be the day it was all sorted yet you manage to ***** up a simple install job. You confirmed to me what was to be installed yet the engineer wasn’t told! #fuckwits

Virgin Media Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • Baggzee1 Baggzee (@Baggzee1) reported

@_Ludachris @virginmedia Yes, they are resoundingly bad but consistently so which is reassuring in today's world unless of course you need Internet for work and then you'd like to chill with some Netflix later. They consistently lower the bar and still consistently fail to reach it

  • runningupprofit . (@runningupprofit) reported

@virginmedia Where's your customer support? It's been nearly a week without contact from you and 2 days of activily trying to get through to a real person to deal with my issue, that your company has created

  • ChrisMooreRDP Chris Moore (@ChrisMooreRDP) reported

@virginmedia Ringing that number is a nightmare! I could wait for an hour to speak to some one who tells you you’re through to wrong the department so you’re left hanging for another half hour…then Virgin just hang up and you start again. No thanks. Can someone not ring me?

  • AdamHoweStop Adam Howe (@AdamHoweStop) reported

@virginmedia CW, I have called that number 4 times this week. Your team don’t have the means to help me. They keep saying another team needs to call me back, which doesn’t happen

  • g_hamilton10 Mr H (@g_hamilton10) reported

@virginmedia Not just that. The quality of internet service and the frequency of which I have to put up with no internet at all is not worth £15 a month let alone £150. Daylight robbery

  • mattburton72 Matt Burton (@mattburton72) reported

@virginmedia Ok just to follow up that the issue has now been resolved. 5 weeks after I phoned to sort it out. Numerous phone calls, sitting in queues and I had to complain to get any response and escalation to a senior manager to solve a 5 minute problem.

  • httpabbs abby🐝 (@httpabbs) reported

My internet is gone cause virgin media are AWFUL and my data only works in my sitting room so I’m having a deadly Friday

  • SamBarn88705209 Sam Barnett (@SamBarn88705209) reported

@virginmedia - part 2 - after all that they can’t book the date. I ask about complaints & they don’t know anything on complaints. Not great for a new customer purchasing your “Ultimate” bundle. Resolve my complaint & get me an earlier appointment as oringally advised.

  • DrRison Dr. Stuart Rison (@DrRison) reported

@virginmedia Nope. As far as I know I'm still paying top dollar for a service I'm not using at all. If you could help would be great.

  • smirnoffthedog1 smirnoffthedog (@smirnoffthedog1) reported

@virginmedia Not at all. Regarding terrible customer service. Absolutely aweful. Absolute shite
