Can anyone tell me why @virginmedia upload speeds are so slow? Downloads are fine but 10Mbs is ridiculous cw my friend's @BT network.

@virginmedia Yes. But that didnt stop you charging me for a full month even though i didn't have service for a full month. Your customer service is appalling, I've complained for years and you make no change or comoensation. You don't care one iota for your customers.

@virginmedia Yes I have but the download speed is fine. The problem is that you peg the upload speeds down to 10mbs. We used to get that over copper cables. It's time to step it up a notch.

@virginmedia absolutely sick of the lack of service over the weekend- trying to watch catch up and it constantly crashes, then doesn’t remember where I was actually up to. This isn’t good enough. What is going on? If it’s not sorted asap I’m off to @skytv

@virginmedia @virginhelp Most importantly I’ll be grateful if you would answer the issue that I cannot get a human to respond. The only time that there is a human option is when one wants to press the button to leave for Virgin.

@virginmedia To be fair, the TV is better via Virgin and download speeds are good too (most of the time) but you fall down on broadband reliability, upload speeds and landlines costs.

@virginmedia 100mbs download is fine, but 10mbs upload is silly in this age. It's too slow for uploading to YouTube.

@virginmedia The Broadband is down in our postcode. Your fault system says there is no fault and asking each resident to log a call out which is nonsense. DM me and I’ll give you full postcode so you can sort it out.

@virginmedia I’m not hopeful. You have given a 10day lead time for a fix. It’s been 6 days and my connection is still unusable. I just had to switch to 5g again. I genuinely don’t get what could possibly cause a 10 day lead time. 10 days without internet when I still have to wfh

After 10 years with @virginmedia , & after weeks of terrible WiFi & customer service, I asked they equal BT’s deal. Operator could not do that and would not let me talk to manager, nor send a message for call back. I asked x3. Operator terminated call. Poor service!

@mikelarwood @virginmedia I have to incline to disagree there is enough cable there to re-connect and terminate ready to split if services were decided to be taken out again bud, the reason they would of been cut in the first place is so there isn’t any open ports causing disruption on the line.

@virginmedia I don't think there's no pattern. throughout the whole day, it seems like to have a mind of its own, and does things when it wants to. It's very unusual. We've experienced this issue for the first time, so it's unlikely there's something in the house that's causing it
