    Get a message from @virginmedia telling me they are raising my monthly cost to pay so they can offer a better service.....internet is down once again... Finally going to look for ANY other options cause I have had enough!!!

    Several hours on and I'm still wincing at the frustrating incompetence of @virginmedia's customer services. I'm trying to go. The only way is by phone. But they cut me off after an hour largely on hold. #FreeDan.

    @virginmedia only way to connect is via my EE yet again I've no service and being kept on hold for a decade ..every month this happens for a service i pay a lot of money for very very disappointed every month I'm told my equipment needs updating..

    Think I am cursed with home internet. All the trouble in India and now a culmative 2 hours trying to contact @virginmedia with no success of speaking to a human back home. All data expired and phone line/TV also not working so we must refresh and start again tomorrow 😳

    @virginmedia Broadband is down. Box is showing solid green base light, solid green WiFi light and a flashing green internet light. Reboot, lower cycling, full disconnection and reconnection achieves nothing. TV service fine (sans network features).

    @virginmedia I don’t have an Ethernet cable. Network status said its fine. Currently being tortured on hold listening to james Arthur. Catch up not working either (error c130). Trying to work from home having to tether my personal data. On my last legs with Virgin

    @virginmedia I wasn't complaining at all, just commenting on how Virgin is on top of its game. My broadband was only down for half an hour, no dramas. And your field tech was very friendly and helpful in explaining what was going on. All good here.

    Update on this; This is a suspected external/public IP address issue, not @Control4 issue. Still awaiting resolution from @virginmedia as to why I cannot access many websites (Captcha issue) or login to most accounts / tunein etc. #Control4 @Control4_EMEA #virginmedia

    @virginmedia I need an engineer to come back to my house, possibly to rewire everything as my tv service doesn’t work properly. The previous one got everything working again recently but said it might break again and if it does we would need to replace the cables coming from outside

    @virginmedia No change after rebooting both boxes (v6/hub). Nothing on the service status page. I’ve been through all of this before and was explicitly told if it happened again the cables would have to be re fitted

    @virginmedia @MoneyTelegraph For last 2 months in the SW16 area VIRGIN TV & BROADBAND services has an ‘outage problem.’ Despite several engineer call outs the issue has not been resolved so no access to internet. Virgin please sort out and provide compensation for lack of service

    @virginmedia Went through the motions of filing a complaint and now that's not showing either! What is the point! I don't have time to call the team because they keep you on hold for hours and I've had to find alternative working arrangements because you've left me without internet!!

    @virginmedia calling to support just says it's an area fault, and there's absolutely no information on what/why or WHEN is it going to be fixed? and then sends me a link to your service checker which says everything is fine. So just wait until it magically gets fixed? 8th day with no info

    So you cant watch Eubank Jr Vs Benn unless you pay for a monthly subscription to DAZN and then pay PPV price on top or you are a Virgin Media customer. I wonder how many illegal streams will be watched for this fight. The DAZN model is so broken!
