bill osmond (@billosmond) reported from Camberwell, England
@virginmedia Just to update you. Engineer came round on Monday and informed me there was a local issue with broadband that @virginmedia were aware of and was surprised I had not been informed. The last engineer who came round seemed unaware of this!!! How do I get compensated? Anyone know?

Paul Ferrer (@paullferrer) reported from Harrow Weald, England
Virgin Media is down again why are phone and broadband networks regularly crashing far more than they used to, is it over demand for infrastructure issues networks aren't big enough for their customer base as ITV Hub crashed on Monday during Oprah and Disney+ during WandaVision?
-
ian (@IanBorrett) reported from Lambeth, England
Guess what? Yes, @virginmedia is down again. I have no idea what I have done to them but they are treating me like I'm a c**t. Since 12 Feb I can count the days of adequate service on one hand. What an embarrassment of a company.

@virginmedia broadband has been absolutely dire in the last few weeks. Phases of outage or sun 2mbps speeds. Anyone else experiencing similar in SE26 area? Remember it was around cold snap it got bad - maybe affected the infrastructure.

Paul Berry (@bazelrock) reported from Tottenham, England
@sainsburys Update, it might be @virginmedia with the problem.
-
Channy (@walshChanny) reported from London, England
@virginmedia Yes I did, a VM agent went through the whole event and resolved it for me. There are thousands of VM customers in a FaceBook group suffering similar problems it is called Virgin Media Customer Service.
-
Lynette Szeto-Martinez (@LynetteSzeto) reported from Islington, England
@virginmedia Yes I have this app, have scanned. Sometimes coverage is bad.
-
Channy (@walshChanny) reported from London, England
@virginmedia That is what happened. If it didn’t happened to you it is even more strange. Do you want me to do it again and record it? In the meantime, I was contacted today and agreed a way forwards to stay with VM. It is quite hard to have to deal with bad customer care while grieving.

5th visit in 20 days from @virginmedia today to fix my broadband. Am I confident they'll actually give me the service they charge me £112.50 a month for? Am I hell. Can I actually get thru and speak to a virgin employee? Don't be ridiculous.

Tony Wiseman (@tonywiseman1976) reported from London, England
@virginmedia Don’t tell me what to do. I want this tedious issue RESOLVED!

@virginmedia Done a service rest of area, say no. My router diagnostic says there is a problem.
-
Ricardo Motti (@RMotti) reported from Richmond, England
@virginmedia They can't give me any credits or any reduction in price while engineers can't visit to change the box location. Only way not to pay for the TV service would be to downgrade my bundle, but that means I'm not eligible for 'new client discount', thus I don't save anything. 🙄
-
Adrian Miles (@Adrianmilesarch) reported from London, England
@virginmedia Service status says no known issues but when I call over the phone an automated message refers to intermittent problems last two days and that engineers are taking a long time to fix complex problems. Currently ok but recently every day there is a long period of issues.
-
bill osmond (@billosmond) reported from Camberwell, England
@virginmedia Just tried that. Endless waiting and ended up exactly where I started. Just can’t speak to a human and explain my specific issue.
-
ian (@IanBorrett) reported from Lambeth, England
@virginmedia without a doubt the worst company I've dealt with. But they have a great person in Stefano, an engineer in the SW4 area. He has actually gone above and beyond to provide some customer service. I hope Virgin notice this, but they probably won't.

Subhendu Dey (@subhendudey) reported from Kingston upon Thames, England
@virginmedia Please train your CSA's. Why they are so rude... Aren't you paying them.

beech (@beechmoore) reported
@virginmedia Thanks for replying. It is annoying though. To sign up I just click a button. No simple button for cancelling though and then if I do get through on the phone, I'll be subjected to interrogation about why I want to cancel. Please, I just want to cancel.
-
Skye フローズン (@Ehviiate) reported
@virginmedia did it and now again i have to wait the 24h for the fix so I can't book an engineer yet
-
Luke Treadwell (@treadybrek) reported
@virginmedia I don’t recommend agreeing a new contract with a customer, then sending them paperwork through with the wrong service that costs 50% more. And then when they call up to fix it, hanging up on them twice 🙃
-
Scott Allan (@scottallan76) reported
@O2 I'm an O2 customer and thinking about moving my broadband from @SkyHelpTeam to O2 Volt. What would happen if I moved to a non Virgin Media area, would I still be liable for the full term?
-
Shona Adams (@ShonaAdams86) reported
@virginmedia It’s very slow and sometimes the sound goes off or it freezes. Things that can be fixed by turning off and on but it’s frustrating and I am a very loyal customer! Perhaps nothing can be done but if you don’t ask….
-
The Obtuse Muse (@rudyobrien21) reported
@sixfor2 @OmazeUK I looked into it 'cause I am curious. CTax: Band H - £4,217.78 = £421 @ 10 months Water Rate: avg home: £470 - 490 per year = avg. £40pm Virgin Media £20/m, 54Mbps. If Omaze gives you £50K to move in = £2,000 pm for 26 months. If anyone cannot live there, they have money issues

Carl Kent (@carlnottsoutlaw) reported
@virginmedia Yes, I am a customer of yours, It's as though I've ordered it recently, even has an order reference 100001713765735, the email has your logo and says my order is winging it's way.

@virginmedia Busier than usual is short hand for “we cut our staff during CoVid and our employee proposition is so naff we can’t recruit or retain staff and ergo our service is rubbish” #MoreReasonsToSwitch
