@ianbriggs @virginmedia This is why I left them for Sky years ago. They are poor. Been with Sky for 12 years, and they have always been good customer service wise, and rectifying faults quick.

I swear my virgin media is cursed. Ever since they rang me up and convinced me to change my package to include sky sports it’s been broken every time I’ve wanted to watch a game. 😩 just hung up after waiting on the helpline for over 30 minutes with no response

@MurlocPhil @mainlymono @virginmedia I can cope with the outage (VM mega-fast WiFi still fine so laptop hooked up to TV), it’s the inability to get any sort of response or information from @virginmedia that bugs me. Just an update via tweet, or even just a voice mail message when you ring them, would suffice.

@virginmedia Yep and no issue with the promotion running out - my issue is the way the email is laid out, basically suggesting the deal will carry on the same only to hide the actual cost (that changes a few days later) in the same print, which is incredibly misleading.

@virginmedia Yes, it’s just a rather archaic procedure to use having to argue/negotiate with a bot who wanted to keep piling offers on me when I tell it 10 times quite simply what I want. You’re losing a loyal customer

@virginmedia 30+ minutes of no solution, I didn’t. I did get connected with the manager we outlined the situation but then was disconnected, perhaps he wasn’t able to resolve the quagmire either and decided to leave it to me to resolve. Where do I send my invoice for my time?
