    @virginmedia Yep and no issue with the promotion running out - my issue is the way the email is laid out, basically suggesting the deal will carry on the same only to hide the actual cost (that changes a few days later) in the same print, which is incredibly misleading.

    I swear my virgin media is cursed. Ever since they rang me up and convinced me to change my package to include sky sports it’s been broken every time I’ve wanted to watch a game. 😩 just hung up after waiting on the helpline for over 30 minutes with no response

    @ianbriggs @virginmedia This is why I left them for Sky years ago. They are poor. Been with Sky for 12 years, and they have always been good customer service wise, and rectifying faults quick.

    @MurlocPhil @mainlymono @virginmedia I can cope with the outage (VM mega-fast WiFi still fine so laptop hooked up to TV), it’s the inability to get any sort of response or information from @virginmedia that bugs me. Just an update via tweet, or even just a voice mail message when you ring them, would suffice.

    @virginmedia Thank you for response. The status says my broadband should be fine. The text cancelling engineer from Virgin says visit on hold while a network issue is investigated. This is now 3 weeks and it goes off at 12:15 daily. No other virgin users in my area have this issue. Help 😩

    @virginmedia Finally got through to triage, explained I definitely wanted to cancel as moving to a property with WiFi and they still passed me to retention not cancellation. Managed to cancel contract now but still being hounded by texts and calls from retention!
