@MartynJohnPR @virginmedia I’m half way through an 18month contract - so it would be slightly more to let in run out. So frustrating as they’re saying it’s a disconnection fee but are the ones forcing me into it as they don’t offer the service

@tonydixon59 @virginmedia Thanks for your reply. No improvement - I have rebooted the box and checked all connections. Seems to have coincided with the recent wet weather, and could the fact that another customer in TW2 is having similar issues suggest water in the works?

I love @virginmedia ‘s new initiative to get customers to reduce screen time and experience world. As a customer you will be connected to Virgin Media wireless whenever available and have absolutely no data at all.

@thealisonedgar I would understand if they offered a service and I was choosing not to take it. They can’t offer a connection in London - it’s not the outer Hebrides. Leaves a bitter taste. Will never go back to @virginmedia

@virginmedia getting these emails saying “we are sorry you are leaving” but I didn’t cancel my service with you guys. Should I be worried about it?

@virginmedia Virgin Media services - you should treat existing customers as nicely as you do new customers.

@tonydixon59 @virginmedia Same here, also in TW2. Was bad last night, seemed better during the day but now poor again, picture breaking up and sound drops out momentarily.

@virginmedia This is getting boring now. Contacted customer services to be told a Virtual Technician would ring me by 18:00. I wasn’t holding out any hope. So far been without TV or Broadband for 10 days with so called engineers never turning up to replace equipment. I give up !!!!!

@virginmedia I am not disputing the validity. I am stating that this is dreadful customer service. You cannot offer a connection and therefore I have no alternative. This is reflective of your lack of coverage. The poor customer service certainly means I’ll never be back. A very bitter taste

@virginmedia As I said, I am aware of the contract - however it reflects very poorly from a customer service perspective. You can’t offer a service to the capital city and want to charge me for your lack of coverage. Shocking business practise. #avoid #ripoffbritain @bbcone

@Kezza101064 It's the old equivalent of the wi-fi going down for ages, otherwise known as being a Virgin Media customer.

Terrible customer service from @virginmedia . Don’t offer coverage at my new house and want £250 to cancel my existing connection. Would be happy to take it with me but they can’t offer a service (that should be their issue not mine). #dreadful #avoid

@virginmedia You’d think their customer services were good according to their lovely adverts. Automation is only so good when it keeps you in a useless loop going nowhere.

@mdf200 @virginmedia Ah jeezo, best of luck if you have to engage with their customer services, round and round on their website, passed to their chat bot (round and round) to end up back at their website. Their Whats App exactly the same. Techie guys are brilliant if you can get through to them.

@virginmedia I've called this number also and it provides a target time of 9.40am tomorrow to get the issue fixed. Why didn't the online service tell me this? Fed up this is the third day running with no broadband. Hardly a "network upgrade". No doubt Virgin will be wacking-up my price soon!
-
Victoria Trow

@virginmedia basic phone package £26 Then sign up for basic TV bringing monthly bill to £31. Within days of 360 I don’t want it,didn’t activate it. Cancel it within 14 days. Am told if I my bill for broadband will now be £51 pm. WTF? Why not original £26. Feel very shafted by VM

@virginmedia I realise you cannot promise a fault free service but I deserve better than the rubbish I keep being told after all this time. How would you like it if you could not work properly for three months and no-one told you why?

@virginmedia Joined in December and was promised wi-fi boosters would be sent. Called two weeks ago to see where they were, was told I would be called back within 24 hours? Still no call. Starting to think I'd have been best staying with my previous provider. Very poor so far.

@virginmedia No there is no update. Initially it says everything is fine but when you test my hub it acknowledges there's an issue. I've turned the WiFi off at the hub, and also tried a reboot from the wall, so nothing. Says connection failed.

@virginmedia are you aware that your customer retentions team are essentially just telling your customers to set up an @O2 SIM and then cancel in your cooling off period to get the best deals. I insisted and insisted that I didnt need or want a new SIM but she didnt listen and…

@virginmedia 1) You’ve just completely ignored my issue. 2) So the boderline harassment I received is my own fault? Sounds an awful lot like victim shaming to me. 3) The company who hasn’t paid tax in the UK in 10yrs begging UK taxpayers for more money during a cost of living crisis?
