    Predictably depressing experience calling @virginmedia to cancel contract this afternoon. *On hold for several mins. * Offered £2 off contract monthly by automated answer phone message when I navigate through phone menus saying I want to leave. Say no on touchpad.

    @virginmedia I’ve logged in and run the test several times in the past couple of weeks. Always no known issues. WiFi drops for hours on end literally everyday, it’s infuriating. My phone/laptop can’t even find the router name and I’m sat right next to it

    @virginmedia We just have a Fibre m50 broadband package, no TV. We’ve rebooted several times and this does nothing. Nothing unusual with modem lights, just a very slow connection, 4mbps. Only one device maximum works on the WiFi at a time which isn’t right.

    @virginmedia Trouble shooting FFS what do you think the usual one! had it up to here with virgin media, never had any issues with sky or bt that even came close to the problems I’ve had wih virgin, the tv box is shit, had nothing but problems with it, the wifi is crap, the router provided..

    @virginmedia We found a service for cheaper for higher internet speeds and do not require the TV or Phone services any longer. They tried to lower our bill to get us to stay but no matter what offer we get we know we want to cancel.

    @virginmedia Simply said they couldn't do it because of a glitch and when we asked to talk to someone else to see if they could resolve the issue they refused. Then after being on the phone for an hour they hung up on us.

    @virginmedia when it inevitably goes down this evening it’ll disconnect and reconnect for hours, and when it does reconnect it’s with huge amounts of packet loss and slower download and upload speeds. right now the packet loss is 0 and the speeds are all good. what’s happening?
