  A man in his 20s has been arrested in connection with a shooting at a house in Co Galway during the August bank holiday weekend. A man was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after gunshots were reported at a residence in Dunlo, Ballinasloe on Monday 3rd August at around 3.15am.  Gardaí are appealing to anyone who was in the Cúlán Eiscir Riada area between 2.30am and 4am, and who may have witnessed the incident or has camera footage, to come forward.   @DorzetRob @Artemisapphire Ditto here. We're between 3 towns. Sod all signal. Had to get 'wi-fi calling' on the mobile phones, to make mobile calls via the broadband. Smarty seems to work OK. Old copper land line now shut off by Virgin Media.

  @virginmedia I can’t send DMs but update. Issue won’t be fixed until 14th August . Absolutely unacceptable. No notice or comms I had to check myself. I pay you a lot of money. To be over 2 weeks with no WiFi is unacceptable. No details either and your hotline has a wait time of over 45 mins.
