@virginmedia After going through webchat sales team and customer care. Could not reach deal to upgrade so I said Would talk to other providers. Customer care wanted me to wait to speak to relationship manager and I waited on line for a further 45 minutes for the person to come on line.

@virginmedia Thanks for clarifying. Anyway I’ve now been without broadband and landline since 8.30am, back from unplanned trip to office for their wifi to find that service is not going to be fixed until 9am tomorrow! This is the second time in a month I’ve been without service all Friday. 😫

@virginmedia It’s up and running now though I favour it a temporary fix as it’s a repetitive issue in Wandsworth and needs addressing. I pay a premium as opposed to going with a cheaper provider to avoid precisely this scenario. It’s far from a satisfactory service.

I wholeheartedly regret "upgrading" to the @virginmedia Hub 5. SOOOO MANY THINGS WRONG WITH THE FIRMWARE. I'm now on my 3rd hub in as many weeks, wifi will not connect to most of my devices (all under 2 years old), Channel Optimization doesn't work, DHCP corrupted. #Hub5
