just spent 3 hours on the phone with @virginmedia trying to get an early termination fee waived (for an account which they cancelled) only to be passed to about 8 departments, and then be told it’s not possible and I’d have to make a complaint.. make it make sense pls

I upgraded our wifi from 200mbps to 500mbps but as always the darn thing is even slower than before. The worst thing about is am paying even more now?? I complained so many times but @virginmedia only ignores it. Why are you deceiving the public @virginmedia? @BBCWatchdog

@virginmedia It was slightly better, but not much. I WFH, like most ppl and during meeting calls the internet connection is atrocious. It's not professional and frustrating. I end up hotspotting my phone. Thinking of cancelling contract if issue persists #internetIssues

@edmorrish @virginmedia Random thought but have you recently changed your network ID? For me that broke 5G and forced devices onto slower 2.4Ghz frequency signal. I fixed mine on router admin but it’s a bug in Virgin equipment.

@virginmedia That there is no problem. Then that there was a problem which would be fixed by Monday ar 1pm and nothing could be done until then, Monday came and went nothing happened. Called again today, I was told there wasn’t any issues, then that there was and it needed a technician.

@virginmedia so now you can’t actually do anything so how’s my husband can’t work... what is the point in having a technical department if you can’t fix an internet problem, sending a technician tomorrow when my husband needs to work is tonight it pointless!
