@virginmedia Yes I did, a VM agent went through the whole event and resolved it for me. There are thousands of VM customers in a FaceBook group suffering similar problems it is called Virgin Media Customer Service.

@virginmedia broadband has been absolutely dire in the last few weeks. Phases of outage or sun 2mbps speeds. Anyone else experiencing similar in SE26 area? Remember it was around cold snap it got bad - maybe affected the infrastructure.

@virginmedia That is what happened. If it didn’t happened to you it is even more strange. Do you want me to do it again and record it? In the meantime, I was contacted today and agreed a way forwards to stay with VM. It is quite hard to have to deal with bad customer care while grieving.

@virginmedia Just tried that. Endless waiting and ended up exactly where I started. Just can’t speak to a human and explain my specific issue.

@virginmedia They can't give me any credits or any reduction in price while engineers can't visit to change the box location. Only way not to pay for the TV service would be to downgrade my bundle, but that means I'm not eligible for 'new client discount', thus I don't save anything. 🙄

Guess what? Yes, @virginmedia is down again. I have no idea what I have done to them but they are treating me like I'm a c**t. Since 12 Feb I can count the days of adequate service on one hand. What an embarrassment of a company.

@virginmedia Just to update you. Engineer came round on Monday and informed me there was a local issue with broadband that @virginmedia were aware of and was surprised I had not been informed. The last engineer who came round seemed unaware of this!!! How do I get compensated? Anyone know?

5th visit in 20 days from @virginmedia today to fix my broadband. Am I confident they'll actually give me the service they charge me £112.50 a month for? Am I hell. Can I actually get thru and speak to a virgin employee? Don't be ridiculous.

Clearly the 06:05 ETA for a fix is an arbitrary generic number, as on the 1st March when it went down, the fix ETA was 06:05 too. @virginmedia

@virginmedia without a doubt the worst company I've dealt with. But they have a great person in Stefano, an engineer in the SW4 area. He has actually gone above and beyond to provide some customer service. I hope Virgin notice this, but they probably won't.

@virginmedia wifi down in Brixton (SW2). It says you’re not getting it fixed until tomorrow?! Any chance it will be done sooner than this? It’s a pretty vital resource for many of us right now!

@virginmedia Service status says no known issues but when I call over the phone an automated message refers to intermittent problems last two days and that engineers are taking a long time to fix complex problems. Currently ok but recently every day there is a long period of issues.

@virginmedia My partner - a current Virgin customer - just got *HUNG UP ON* by one of the rudest customer services advisors I’ve ever heard in my entire life. Abhorrent customer service. Absolutely shocking.

@virginmedia I have been “on hold” since 1851 for a customer service agent. This is kinda cementing my view of needing to leave.

@virginmedia Yes, but it said we'll fix it by 4PM, then it said 8PM, then it changed to 4PM Sunday. Meanwhile I am missing the Olympics closing ceremony. VM make huge profits, why not spend some on employing senior engineers at weekends and stop lying about 'doing your best'; it's not true.

@virginmedia I have today asked for WIFI booster pods due to poor WIFI so am unable to have an installation. But had called previously and told that we would get a call back. As this has been going on since February very disappointed in lack of response from a customer of 20 plus years.

@virginmedia @WadeLudovic RG4 5BF doesn't take 31+ to send an engineer out. Internet went down 7th aug between 3am and 6.30am and still no engineer has been sent. Is the fictitious engineer on holiday?
-
Hannah

@virginmedia I've now had to pay over £150 this month, and none of this was explained while I was arranging my move. Why, after paying my usual £44.50 (albeit late due to your DD issue), did I still have £107 outstanding?
-
Steven
(@scottsyns) reported
@virginmedia Go back and read again, you changed my contract without my knowledge and I would have assumed that you would have set up the DD on the new account, but guess that is my fault and should pay the price. Idiot!
-
Lynda Mitchell
(@LyndaJMitchell) reported
@virginmedia You really are missing the point here. We are having to operate on 4G and making a complaint will have to come later, once this fiasco is sorted. What I need and want now is help in sorting this out now, not in another 2 days. This is woeful and unacceptable
