Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Lambeth and nearby locations:

  • munirawilson Munira Wilson MP (@munirawilson) reported from Richmond, England

@janeillustrates @bristolboudicca @VirginMediaCorp @virginmedia @Ofcom If she receives any care support, the agency ought to be checking up on her more regularly. That doesn't help with the isolation of no TV though.

  • tonystwit Tony Mills (@tonystwit) reported from Kingston upon Thames, England

@telnetport25com @EdwardJDavey @virginmedia Ed likes to campaign for populist issues with no success, so don’t hold your breath. Virgin media is his current target after failing with his SWR campaign. South of the Borough lost faith in him!

  • GavinJPoole Gavin Poole (@GavinJPoole) reported from Merton, England

@virginmedia Ok, thanks, we had service this am but when the portal@shows three greens and a good device it should be updated to at least amber.

  • JonGardner_gb Jon Gardner (@JonGardner_gb) reported from Richmond, England

@____________jkg @harerik @virginmedia You have a backup hub that you can route traffic too if one is down. In a business environment this is standard practice. If Virgin want to just be a home TV provider, fine. But if they want to sell services to schools, other public services and business things need to change.

  • Pientello Christian Furr (@Pientello) reported from Richmond, England

@smittyonline @virginmedia Virgin Media has been down in Richmond upon Thames since 9am Thursday 19th December. Over 2 days now at the busiest and most needed time of year. No Internet, phone, TV or customer service information. Shocking

  • JonGardner_gb Jon Gardner (@JonGardner_gb) reported from Richmond, England

@harerik @virginmedia They sell a business class service to businesses, schools and all manor of other organisations. They should be able in emergency to reroute traffic around a problem like this in minutes or hours, max..... #virginmediadown

    @hamptonbaglady @munirawilson @HamptonPN @VirginMediaCorp @virginmedia @Ofcom @UKLabour Which wouldn’t have stopped the outage of course

@virginmedia They removed my 5gb sim even though they specifically said I would keep it. The price is also wrong as the '18 month discount' ends this November. I raised the complaint on Wednesday.

  • sallyhhk SallyH (@sallyhhk) reported

@virginmedia How long should the service page take to update?

  • Keltique Alf Kelly (@Keltique) reported

@virginmedia Been through this! I paid the final bill-ca £106. Last time I tried I was sent via phone to 4 different depts. Have written to Worthing twice. Was told I was in CR. Still getting bills sent to an address no longer mine for a service I no longer have. Why? @Ofcom @WhichUK

  • charlieensor Charlie Ensor (He/Him) (@charlieensor) reported

@virginmedia So am I right in thinking "service request" is their engineers coming to install the fibre optics today and installation is them connecting from there? If so, I know how to install it after the fibre optics have been fitted outside

  • Eleanor65767843 Eleanor Stephens (@Eleanor65767843) reported

@virginmedia Had to turn my WiFi off and use 4G just to send this tweet, it’s that bad! Not helpful at all! Your telling me what I’m actually paying for could be nothing and you wouldn’t be responsible… shocking! I’m making a complaint to the ombudsman, just ripping us off!

  • RetroArcadeMan ArcadeMan (@RetroArcadeMan) reported

@CommodoreBlog just had a hilarious phone chat with somebody called 'James Smith' (who had a suspiciously strong Indian accent) claiming to be from Virgin Media. He wanted to talk me through how to 'fix' my broadband. He couldn't get his head around it when I told him my(1)

  • Jonni_Badger John Gledson (@Jonni_Badger) reported

@virginmedia What a joke, we pay a fortune for this service and can't even talk to customer services!!

  • karibag karima tribak (@karibag) reported

@virginmedia Please tell me why my contract has been renewed without consent and £30 more expensive. Is this my reward for being a loyal customer and after my booster exploding just before Christmas. Where is the logic!!!!
