@virginmedia How do you send an engineer to my house to take away a hub that works and leaves me with a new one that hasn’t worked since he installed it? I was on the phone for 25 mins to customer services and got cut off at 7:30pm because the lines closed!

@drewsonix @virginmedia @BAFTA I only use the broadband and landline, as I use Sky and Netflix for tv Is they’re much saving in ditching the basic tv part if the “package” I never use.

What a nightmare to try to get any assistance from @virginmedia!!! They make it impossible to do anything online and the phone team is no help. The moment I mention “Id like to cancel my contract” I got disconnected after 30 mins.

@virginmedia It was down for the whole of yesterday. Came back eventually in the evening but too late for my working day. Please can you tell us what the problem was. The service is really flaky and for the price you charge I would expect 99.9% reliability.

@virginmedia I've used it, upstairs and at the back of our kitchen it says there's no connection to test it in the first place. I'm getting constant 400mbps+ download speeds but the signal reach and the time it takes for things to load on devices is terrible!

@BainzyC All scams, from inland revenue, d.v.l.a ,virgin media, I had them all. Take no notice, if they were legitimate they would contact you by letter to say there is a problem. If they ring you tell , tell them to put in writing, them contact the real dept, they will confirm its a scam

@virginmedia I’ve tried, but the WiFi is too intermittent to get any kind of result? It’s been really bad for 3 weeks now, and every time we call customer services we get told to reboot it and it’s ok for 10min and then bad again. There’s obviously a problem here?

@virginmedia It’s fixed now. But I’m told no refund or anything until after 24 hours, which it has been. But just spoke to you again on the phone and now told 48 hours. That can’t be right. I’ve been told 24 so surely has to be followed up with @Ofcom. Loss of service for 38 hours total
