@tomfenn8 @elondems There's a lot @virginmedia does well, particularly on the setup, online configuration and admin sides. But when it goes wrong they fall apart. After 4mnths of this we went @Hyperoptic and never looked back. VM uninterested in my feedback on its failings. As to the street boxes...

@virginmedia Honestly, I’ve had this issue on going since near the start of February and we are nearing the end of it now. I would simply like to have the contract that I agreed to on the phone. I’ve been waiting for a manager to call from the 11th and I honestly have been considering @skytv

@virginmedia The engineer did not ask if I was experiencing any service issues. They opened the connection outside at the wall and said that the full cable needs to be replaced. I haven't spoken to the team yet, I'll give them a call tomorrow.

@WolfBrother_ I wondered if I was being scammed - oh wait a minute..! Same email/timeline. Ironically, I joined O2 as part of my @virginmedia package. In all my years of having a mobile phone ('86!) never once in contract has a supplier put the price up. How to impress a new customer - not @O2

@virginmedia I’m on a standard Virgin media package. I have full signal in these areas as the house is fairly small but it’s just my device that seems to not load any data. My phone is on a Virgin Mobile contract so should I seek help from Virgin or from the original manufacturer (Apple)?

@virginmedia Hi not without hauling the desktop to the hub. Can get 300mb wirelessly standing next to the hub, by halfway up stairs 200 and top of stairs 20mb. That reading was taken in the room above the hub not usually that bad but regularly around 10-15mb. Speeds got worse over 3-4 months
