@Mike_Randazzo1 @virginmedia Oh, they did let me cancel, but I had to answer about 3 “last question”s before they proceeded 5 minute response time on chat, took me nearly two hours, after the 4 hours it took to connect an agent. We could get a contract with a credit check in 5 minutes.

@virginmedia Just spouting corporate line does not improve the situation. No advanced notice, no resolution to problem, appointment missed, but if I am not here for a visit I am fined. This is very one sided for a service that has other companies wanting the business

@virginmedia disappointed after 10 years of being a loyal customer that I can’t pause my monthly payments for 11 weeks while I’m not at home and no one using the broadband or TV!

@AbzAaron @virginmedia Even better… if you don’t play along, nobody else will cancel it. You can’t even hang up on the sales pitch.

@virginmedia please fix this issue. Recently not loading some emails over wifi saying it’s to do with network settings. Ok if I turn wifi off. Reading lots of people having the same problem with you on iPhone.

@Mike_Randazzo1 @virginmedia Thought about it, but it’s most likely a management directive, nothing will happen. All I want is my package, set up the new flat, and not hear about them until we cancel again, hopefully last time.

@atnori_ @virginmedia Yep, experienced just recently :D I am an extremely patient person… I properly lost it today 🙃 At least the damn thing is cancelled though.

@virginmedia But cutting people off to enforce this is unethical, besides no previous communication has indicated this and the solution is not convenient with where they want to do this and no suggestion to reposition my hub

@virginmedia After the two hour chat, it was finally resolved. Wife have arranged an internet connection to our new flat before this(with Virgin btw), took 5 minutes. Lot of hoops to jump through to cancel, when I just wanted to get it over with. No offers, just cancel.

@virginmedia how do I get my account details if you have never emailed me or sent me and letters. I don’t even know my account number and have to wait till you text to say my bill is overdue to be able to pay my account. What the hell? Customer service is no help so wtf?

@virginmedia I shouldn’t have to. It’s a new issue that other people are having too. I can turn off wifi on my phone and it’s fine. Please tell them who fix things to fix it. Not only me

@virginmedia No effort is made to rectify the problem they just want to change to VOIP with no regard to a customer who spends over £1200 a bear for all devices, I wonder what offcom would think

@BigupJeff @virginmedia Yeah, unfortunately. We are okay with the service, that’s why we kept it in the new one, but the customer service is a joke. Had @Hyperoptic once, was absolutely brilliant. Too bad it’s rarely available.

@virginmedia how do you have the worst customer service ? Will just have to book a technician to sort out issues with account login.

If anyone is looking for broadband/TV services then I would urge you to stay away from @virginmedia. After being a customer for over 6 years I have had a horrific experience arranging changes to my package and a house move over the last couple of weeks. A thread...

@colh79 @virginmedia Wouldn’t necessarily say I’m a new customer, I pay £49 for this currently so not next to nothing but took a good 4 hours of haggling on the webchat to get the deal

@virginmedia The fact that I have been repeatedly misled. That there was an install due today, but would not be done. That my job is heavily reliant on internet. That I am in an area of very poor mobile coverage. That while I appreciate the thought of mobile access, it won't work.
