Virgin Media Issues Reports Near Newham, England

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Newham and nearby locations:

  • ACMru_ Akshay (@ACMru_) reported from City of London, England

@virginmedia That’s absolutely fine, but again like mentioned before. I should not be receiving contrasting information from your employees. I can understand one isolated incident but having 2 incidents for the same issue highlights a form of incompetence somewhere

  • groovyblueshed The silver goat 🐐 (@groovyblueshed) reported from Enfield Lock, England

@reece_dinsdale @virginmedia is terrible for that. Its website seems designed to navigate you away from finding contact details and customer services.

  • derrickca Del 🌈 (@derrickca) reported from Croydon, England

@virginmedia There are no issues in my area supposedly. So why I’m I told that there are issues when I call. Nobody else around has a problem. My account says everything is working. Who’s telling the truth? Feeling very vulnerable here

  • sbraganza Stan Braganza (@sbraganza) reported from Barnet, England

@virginmedia *sigh* it’s ok. I was overreacting too - I had some stuff I was working on and I felt that it was my router that was at fault. Once I knew it was a network issue I was able to relax (and subsequently used 5gb of my mobile data allowance) - at least my hardware still works!

  • MrGarySmith Gary Brian Smith (@MrGarySmith) reported from Dartford, England

@virginmedia No show yesterday over 2 hours lost time today trying to sort out the item which ironically are apart of an agreement with @virginmedia to resolve slow speeds and #badcustomerservice. Looks like you don’t ever listen back to your own training recorded conversations...

  • derrickca Del 🌈 (@derrickca) reported from Croydon, England

@virginmedia Over a week to fix it seems ridiculous

  • derrickca Del 🌈 (@derrickca) reported from Croydon, England

@virginmedia We can’t go for a week without this. Disabled person heavily reliant. Home security compromised. Not acceptable. Nobody else has the problem. This complaint is going to escalate

  • derrickca Del 🌈 (@derrickca) reported from Croydon, England

@virginmedia An intermittent problem in the area (we appear to be the only one). It’s not intermittent as it’s not working. It’s beyond a joke now. Costing a fortune in data usage

  • mediaczar Mat Morrison (@mediaczar) reported from Paddington, England

@OminousBagel @virginmedia Although I’m equally annoyed by their fault self-checking system … that requires you to be on the internet, on the same network you’re complaining is down…

  • hdoddles Hannah Dodd (@hdoddles) reported from Merton, England

@virginmedia It’s Hannah. I’ve been a customer with Virgin since 2019. I don’t need to check the postcode checker again, I want to know why your still advertising our post code as available for service on price comparison sites? When you clearly don’t provide to that area?

  • derrickca Del 🌈 (@derrickca) reported from Croydon, England

Now going to look at changing to Sky. Absolutely unacceptable delay by @virginmedia for a week. Trying to work from home. Definitely time to go. We pay a lot of money for a service that we’re not receiving. Don’t use them

  • derrickca Del 🌈 (@derrickca) reported from Croydon, England

@virginmedia Same message that I always get. “Working to fix the problem” no indication of time. But my neighbours don’t have any issues

  • derrickca Del 🌈 (@derrickca) reported from Croydon, England

@virginmedia I’ve hammered my mobile data since the internet has been down it’s costing me a fortune. I’m not even sure that the site will benefit me.

  • andyyoung2 Andyy 🇪🇺 (@andyyoung2) reported from Wandsworth, England

Hi @virginmedia - can you tell me why you’re advertising on GB News platform of hate please? If you continue I’ll need to cancel my contract. Thanks.

  • ACMru_ Akshay (@ACMru_) reported from City of London, England

@virginmedia I don’t mind speaking to technical support and them trying to troubleshoot, but what I absolutely hated was being told contrasting information by all the different staff members in VM

  • MrGarySmith Gary Brian Smith (@MrGarySmith) reported from Dartford, England

@virginmedia **** knows? Can’t trust any appointments you make anyway... still waiting for her to phone back again 4th time lucky that she won’t cut me off again eh?

  • derrickca Del 🌈 (@derrickca) reported from Croydon, England

@virginmedia Just called. Message says there are intermittent problems in the area. Then back to main menu on the phone says “ there are no problems in the area goodbye “. Not impressed

  • ACMru_ Akshay (@ACMru_) reported from City of London, England

@virginmedia And then told that they couldn’t do that either, all whilst being very rude on the phone for an issue with the equipment which frankly I believe is not an acceptable level of service ( I don’t expect 100% reliability - but something better than no service would be nice!)

  • ACMru_ Akshay (@ACMru_) reported from Enfield Lock, England

Virgin media 2nd line support have got to be one of the rudest and worst customer services I have ever ever ever spoken too. Contemplating just cancelling the service. @virginmedia

  • ACMru_ Akshay (@ACMru_) reported from City of London, England

@virginmedia One of your agents said they would send across a WiFi pod (which never happened) and then we were informed that he didn’t have the ability to send them after a further call 1 month later. We were also advised they would send us a hub 4 to try and get rid of the existing hub 3

Virgin Media Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • MekeWhy krispy (@MekeWhy) reported

    @virginmedia I can’t login or restart password

  • DonnaGalbraith6 Donna Galbraith (@DonnaGalbraith6) reported

@virginmedia @HunterJay67 Stop replying with contact numbers where people can’t actually get through to or have to spend hours on hold, come on Virgin, treat your customers with a bit more respect

  • Saralimback Sara Venn (@Saralimback) reported from Bristol, England

Hi @virginmedia we are trying to get hold of someone to cancel our internet/tv with you but it seems impossible. Please advise. @AndyVenn1

  • clayton_hatch Louise Clayton-Hatch (@clayton_hatch) reported

@virginmedia I've been trying to fix this since OCTOBER. NOT acceptable. All I'm asking you to do is fix the cable in place in a safe manner. What has been put in place is bordering on dangerous and the process of dealing with VM to get it sorted has been nothing short of shocking & negligent

  • DeanCPearson DIIPRO (@DeanCPearson) reported

@virginmedia Where do I register a loss of service? No broadband/TV in BD16, but status checker says no issues. #virginmedia

  • Cartmarc674 Marc carter (@Cartmarc674) reported

@virginmedia I have spent 10 months trying to contact VM re billing issues. Have tried every means available, but no joy. On 3rd Jan.21. Eventually Laura Hackett rang, VM Executive Team. We agreed a new contract but no confirmation. I am now in arrears! HELP!

  • GSP18 ShowBIZ (@GSP18) reported

@Fut_Berg @virginmedia Mine keeps dropping completely at night, no idea why. Can't get through to anyone in the place. Useless customer service

  • DonnaGalbraith6 Donna Galbraith (@DonnaGalbraith6) reported

@virginmedia please enlighten me on how I cancel my account, you never answer the phone, online help only responds to certain words, and of course none help, you can’t cancel account via the app. And you want 30 days notice ! What a joke being trying for months to get thorough.

  • IJohnson_TNF Ian (@IJohnson_TNF) reported

Wtf is happening @virginmedia, I'm only getting 20Mbps when I pay for over 200

  • Mark_the_man_89 Mark (@Mark_the_man_89) reported

@virginmedia That error just shows connected devices with low wifi signal which I know they are but why is it showing this all of a sudden in browser. Have you updated it and this is a bug
