Declan Higgins ☘ (@declan1968) reported from Southwark, England
@virginmedia What does an area outage mean? I pay Virgin about £150 a month for services. This is over the odds but I thought I was getting a reliable service and so went with it.
-
Declan Higgins ☘ (@declan1968) reported from Southwark, England
@virginmedia Oh yeah. Nothing that explains why it keeps happening though. Fix dates are usually meaningless. Feels like we're being rationed.
-
#AshTag (@Ashley_Rhysss) reported from Southwark, England
The service from @virginmedia is utterly dreadful. Had Wi-Fi issues so they sent someone out to rectify. Worked for 2 days then the same issues started again. Not had working Wi-Fi for the last 3 weeks. If your thinking of going with them for tv / internet, go with someone else.
-
Derrick Brown (@DerrickSWB) reported from Lower Clapton, England
@virginmedia Can someone advise how I fix the Wi-Fi pod which isn’t working with my new router - I had to upgrade at extra cost to receive new kit as the lead time was shorter than getting a competitor in #ThisIsWrong
-
DJ MRT (@DJMRT) reported from Sutton, England
It would appear that despite 3 emails to @virginmedia regarding their lack of service, their rubbish broadband and the fact my TV hasn’t worked since November - they have instead chosen to engage debt collectors for a £141.54 (for ONE MONTH) bill. See you in court then I guess.
-
Geoff Rogers (@GeoffRogersEU) reported from Hersham, England
@virginmedia @FeelitWorking I think the OP is airing his frustration at the fact that he has to ask for discount at the end of the contract. VM does not do this with its business customers (I know as a former very satisfied business customer) so why should it apply to consumers? To be fair, Sky, BT, Talk…
-
グラハム・スミス® ©Official (@BancoDePapa) reported from London, England
@TfL why is the 4G signal on the Central line underground only around the posh area's of Notting Hill Gate, Queensway and Holland Park? Since @virginmedia stopped their WiFi in April it's annoying that a major metropolis like London has no internet connections on a lot of lines
-
Steven Kraan 🐀 (@drawing_daily) reported from Islington, England
@virginmedia internet down second day in a row, when will it work again?
-
Tinders (@safctinders) reported from Worcester Park, England
@virginmedia Abysmal service. Pay a premium for this stuff and nothing but aggro; TV freezes, ages to boot up… been sat here 20 minutes and still “starting up”. **** show.
-
Dr Jan Evelyn-Wilson (@WilsonJevelyn) reported from London, England
@VirginMedia wi-fi just cut out AGAIN! Annoying when one is in the middle of something. WHY!
-
Lewis Allen ⚒ (@_Lewis_A) reported from London, England
@ameehan71 @virginmedia All new and reconnected. 200mb then next day nothing, comes on for a day then drops to 10mb. Talk to customer service and they don't have a clue. They also want over £400 for me to leave. Worst service I've ever known
-
Alex (@ameehan71) reported from Bromley, England
@_Lewis_A @virginmedia I had this problem and was advised to buy new cables, did that and it gets minimum 200mb now, also make sure all cables are really tight and fitted properly.
-
Lewis Allen ⚒ (@_Lewis_A) reported from London, England
So @virginmedia won't let me leave our contract despite their service continually crashing or not providing the speed it promises. Ultrafast broadband but getting nothing or 9mb download. Fed up with it now. Avoid them at all costs. #VirginMediaoutage #broadband

Derrick Brown (@DerrickSWB) reported from Lower Clapton, England
@virginmedia It’s arranged (3rd time) for engineer visit tomorrow 4-7pm…. I just hope they don’t randomly cancel again
-

@virginmedia Green up/down arrow flashing and router restarting
-
Derrick Brown (@DerrickSWB) reported from Lower Clapton, England
@virginmedia The uplink is failing and it’s being denied access to the network as it’s poking and failing
-
グラハム・スミス® ©Official (@BancoDePapa) reported from Haringey, England
@virginmedia can I have the customer service number to cancel my broadband.... There are seemingly better deals out there for faster services
-
Mitch Manning 💜💙🦁🇺🇦 (@MitchM77) reported from Worcester Park, England
@neilpr85 @virginmedia Yes, this! Oh and now O2 have told me I might lose signal over 24hrs as they’re doing some works. So no mobile data for me either! I feel like I’ve jumped in a time machine and have gone back to 1990!! 😫

Shah 🦅 (@shah4569) reported from London, England
@virginmedia All these problems. But still fleecing money from us.
-

@virginmedia So we're we're updated last night informing you'd come today 21st, nobody arrived. Called to check and now informed it will now be the 26th! I have a vulnerable person in the property and wish I hadn't called to fix the pixelation on the TV as you've made everything worse.
-
Neil Malley (@malstar79) reported
@virginmedia My elderly folks internet, TV and landline has been down since Thursday. You keep pushing back the estimated fix time, now Monday. They can’t get past your automated support systems to speak to a human about this. What on earth is going on with the BB2 area? Sort it!

@virginmedia Hi, do you have a contact email address where I can cancel my account. I've tried on webchat but they're asking for parts of a password that I don't know
-
Jenny (@Jenny49059358) reported
@virginmedia how can I get some technical help. Hub delivered with no instructions, socket is old and I can’t install the cable. This isn’t safe!
-
GeekyHairyBestia (@GeekyHairy) reported
@virginmedia Yes get my Internet back on. I’m losing money while it’s off as can not work ans can not even go home. Having to sit in my car in a carpark to get stuff done and even use phone. Been promising to sort cell issue out over a year and still nothing
-
GeekyHairyBestia (@GeekyHairy) reported
@virginmedia But a week. How is that okay on any level. Like I say I work from home and only can talk to you now as I’ve had to walk off my street to get a signal. As although I’m with you for mobile as well and live close to tower apparently I live to close to get a signal. Lucky if get 1Bar

Rik Temmink (@riktem) reported
@virginmedia Your 360 service is shockingly bad and so is your customer service! My box was upgraded this week, nothing but problems since. Online chat agent said he fixed it, but didn't. Phone support agent says he has to ask IT, will take 5 business days. Not good enough.
-
GeekyHairyBestia (@GeekyHairy) reported
WTF @virginmedia all your services in my local area have gone down and your stating your doing work and won’t be back on till 26th at earliest. What the hell. Why have we not been contacted before about this. This is insane and totally unacceptable on every level

Kay Thomas (@mrswoodwoose) reported
@virginmedia Yes there is an issue . Like there have been multiple issues these last few months
