First time I’ve ever finished my data on my phone because I had to keep tethering internet at home because @virginmedia can’t be bothered to fix the internet at my house. Mum, dad if I die this weekend and can’t contact you, you can blame @virginmedia 😡

@virginmedia Thanks. It’s only been down this morning. I’m advised it’ll be back by 4pm. So I lose one day of study/work and have no recompense because it isn’t 2 days. I can’t wait to leave Virgin Media but feel trapped. Not a good place to be.

Appalling service from Virgin media. Internet down in our house since Thursday - appalling customer service and still no internet after 4 days.

@virginmedia Before I moved the router, I kept on losing Internet connectivity in other rooms in my one floor flat on my phone. No issue in my living room where the router is located. I would have to disconnect Wi-Fi on my phone, then reconnect. I moved the router by a about 1 foot. Now fine

@virginmedia No. Ever since I've had broadband, the router (of which yours is my third), has been pretty much in the same place. I've had your service for maybe 3 years. The issue is relatively recent. The nearest items are 1) my PC 2) loudspeaker. 1/2

@virginmedia I’m trying to cancel my shitty overpriced virgin media and I’ve been on hold for 40 mins with no answer. Quick enough to take my money though. Wankers

@virginmedia I did. This is where this conversation started. The first time I tested using, it claimed all was well. Substantially it simply advised me to restart the router. It was not of any help, hence I moved the router, which resolved the issue & uninstalled the app.

@GavinWilkie @beeshi @virginmedia Same. @virginmedia I’m switching because of your crazy high pricing and a year of promises to fix but only if I pay more. 200mb promise, never ever got higher than 50mb, peak times are dismal at 0.5mb. Bye.
