One time I got accosted by a @virginmedia person on a street, trying to get me to sign up. I told him there was no chance of that happening due to their awful customer service. He gave me a curse heavy reply, telling me how useless I was. I'm still with Sky.

@virginmedia I've just made a complaint. My broadband contract is up for renewal 7th July, but you only just sent me a letter this week telling me monthly bill was changing from £38 to £54!!. This letter should have been received 30 days before 7th July!! @ofcom @KatieMorley_

@ProfWoodward @virginmedia I can believe it. That’s outrageous - and clearly they don’t need the business. Which given the expense of their broadband + TV package seems about right. If it’s any consolation - it’s down a lot, and the speed we get is constantly being throttled, even before covid.

@virginmedia You now admit there is a broadband issue in parts of London but it actually seems bigger than that: your service status pages are not working & if I check that page logged into my app, it claims I have no broadband on my a/c, although the a/c page confirms I do!

I've always said that the @virginmedia product is good, but their customer service is beyond atrocious, just spent over an hour on hold, spoke to an operator only to be cut off after discussing what I want to do. Just bloody appalling. Will they call back? Of course not.

@virginmedia But they hung up after me waiting 40 minutes. So what do i do now? Somebody internally must be able to contact them surely. Have also posted letter as it offers that as alternative for cancellation. Just need someone to help.
