Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Harringay and nearby locations:

  • shaomeeng Shaomeeng (@shaomeeng) reported from Walthamstow, England

@virginmedia I made a complaint in Feb 13 to dispute about the undue charges. On Mar 6 and 17, virginMedia claimed to write me a letter and Mar 18 to have emailed me, I’ve received nothin. Now virginMedia is to disconnect me tomorrow for outstanding payment. I requested to cancel just now

  • craiginmotion craig crawford (@craiginmotion) reported from Kensington, England

@virginmedia F*k YOU. No wifi for a week. Waiting for a supervisor to call me back within 24 hours. FOUR DAYS Later and 2 IDIOT technicians ... cancel my service NOW. I’m moving my building Into the 22nd century. Keep playing with copper wires See ya *******

  • andylockran Andy 🏊🚴🏻🏃 (@andylockran) reported from Walthamstow, England

@virginmedia Your phone number just informed me that there is a problem across E11 with expected resolution time of 12.30 Surely that’s information you have available to share; rather than making customers dial in to find that out?

  • Murrony Jenny Haines (@Murrony) reported from Islington, England

@virginmedia what a terrible customer service experience

  • ianeastlondon IanEastLondon (@ianeastlondon) reported from Poplar, England

@virginmedia Sometimes. But that’s not the issue. It behaves the same if not connected to VPN.

  • IanBorrett ian (@IanBorrett) reported from Lambeth, England

Another day without @virginmedia service, cannot report a fault and yet these wankers continue to charge me. Avoid like the plague.

  • andypurbrick Huey Morgan Gluten Freeman (@andypurbrick) reported from Walthamstow, England

@virginmedia I was told by Mark in your call centre in the Philippines that this was planned maintenance and my connection will be down until 24th - I wasn't informed this was going to happen. I need broadband to work from home 🤷

  • andypurbrick Huey Morgan Gluten Freeman (@andypurbrick) reported from Walthamstow, England

Morning @virginmedia, your famously unreliable but expensive broadband service is down in Walthamstow (again)

  • shaomeeng Shaomeeng (@shaomeeng) reported from Walthamstow, England

@virginmedia It was about a complaint made formally on Feb 13. Are you asking me to do something like a dog chasing its tail ?

  • andypurbrick Huey Morgan Gluten Freeman (@andypurbrick) reported from Walthamstow, England

@virginmedia He also refused to give me another Virgin Media telephone phone number to contact unless I closed a complaint that I wanted to make about this

  • khem21766391 Khemical (@khem21766391) reported from Ealing, England

@virginmedia internets down again.. is there an outage?

  • shaomeeng Shaomeeng (@shaomeeng) reported from Walthamstow, England

@virginmedia Who can save the customers to save virginmedia? Do virginMedia have someone as supervisors to look into VM complaint team behaviours ?

  • SoulfulScotsman 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Stephen Howie 🍀 (@SoulfulScotsman) reported from Richmond, England

@PaulLuckhurst @virginmedia Hi @virginmedia - This morning I'm having the same problem Paul was. A rights restrictions message on the video stream on BT Sport 1 via Virgin TV Go. Never seen this before. Can this be investigated. Fairly certain there can have been a sudden change in rights mid-season. Thanks

  • khem21766391 Khemical (@khem21766391) reported from Ealing, England

@virginmedia One of your service providers have just said there is a problem in the area and the internet will be down until the 23rd March... surely this can’t be correct...

  • AngusTeee Angus Teee (@AngusTeee) reported from Islington, England

@virginmedia Please can you explain why broadband has gone down in the London N1 area and what you are doing to remedy this? I have an urgent deadline to hit and currently have no internet access ...

  • andypurbrick Huey Morgan Gluten Freeman (@andypurbrick) reported from Walthamstow, England

@virginmedia It now says that there's a known fault in my area that will be fixed today. So, why did Mark say it was planned maintenance to be resolved on 24th and why wouldn't he share the number without closing my complaint?

  • andylockran Andy 🏊🚴🏻🏃 (@andylockran) reported from Walthamstow, England

@virginmedia I’m not paying you for a self-service option. I’m paying for a service you’re not delivering - the onus is on you to fix it - not me!

  • andypurbrick Huey Morgan Gluten Freeman (@andypurbrick) reported from Walthamstow, England

@virginmedia How can I speak to someone in the UK to make a complaint? Worth noting I'm out of contract and can switch away from Virgin anytime I like

  • khem21766391 Khemical (@khem21766391) reported from Ealing, England

@virginmedia Yes, it says I have a good internet speed which is incorrect. As I said before, Iv contacted your customer service and one of your agents said that the internet will be down until 23rd March & that there is an outage in the area. Surely it cant take that long to correct a fault

  • ianeastlondon IanEastLondon (@ianeastlondon) reported from Poplar, England

@virginmedia It was to try and fix my router / modem issues. I didn’t arrange it, the person I spoke to not the phone (the fifth person) said she had arranged it.

Virgin Media Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • PaulHos93404413 Paul Hoskins (@PaulHos93404413) reported

@vrginmedia book appointments for new customers, then keep changing them. Cannot seem to cancel order without getting the runaround. Help lines are of no use. Come on @virginmedia , do you not want new customers??

  • vicsmith72 victoria smith (@vicsmith72) reported

@virginmedia That’s the problem the agent I spoke to has not recorded anything!!

  • DBill147 Dave B (@DBill147) reported

@virginmedia I was told the new complaint would have the same information. Which is no details on what went wrong and internal feedback as the resolution so would not be raised. I said this wasn't good enough but was denied a deadlock letter when I requested it.

  • Scookson2019 Sophie (@Scookson2019) reported

@virginmedia I don't have an account set up because I haven't had any email other than my order confirmation, that's the issue

  • jsan1972 jsan1972 (@jsan1972) reported

@virginmedia I know this but I’m being told there is nothing to say I called to cancel apparently. I require confirmation this has been action and it is free cancellation and where my returns label is. #RogueCompany #virginmedia

  • SteveEdis Steven Edis (@SteveEdis) reported

Oh no @virginmedia yet again I have no internet and you're letting me down. For the umpteenth time this year. People, don't sign up to @virginmedia the reliability of the service is truly awful

  • mashpitz Palfreywho? (@mashpitz) reported

@virginmedia 2nd Feb I phoned your offices, dropped my service from m100 to m50 in order to save some cash. Had m50 speeds since then. Still being charged my original price though. Such a waste of time, money and patience.

  • notfunnymatthew Matthew (@notfunnymatthew) reported

@virginmedia About the same. No one available to speak to online and there's 0 point in calling. Suggesting I upgrade because your broadband isn't as sold is stupid. Still no answer as to why the price rise is happening during a contract where you're not providing the speeds promised.

  • rossstevens_uk Ross Stevens 🖥️🏃📈 (@rossstevens_uk) reported

@virginmedia Good to know. The switchover page would benefit users to mention about the 2025 date. As it stands, it seems like an unecessary change that may cause compatibility problems in the future.

  • senso_del WabiSabi (@senso_del) reported

@virginmedia E3 London - internet down since yesterday. Can we get a BT Wifi voucher so we can work from home?
