  • michaelwebborn Michael Webborn (@michaelwebborn) reported from Rickmansworth, England

Very rarely do I actively warn people away from things, and maybe it is my bad experience, but beware @virginmedia internet. Difficult, takes far too long to install, others are just easier. Others have horror stories too. Fast internet yes, but the other aspects are not worth it

  • feldmannews Mitchell Feldman (@feldmannews) reported from Hatfield, England

  • gorgeousuk anne hill (@gorgeousuk) reported from London, England

@foxinthebox2010 @virginmedia The £20, £15, £10 down to £5 smacked of desperation really! Just give me the bloody box. We’ve been with you long enough!!!!!

  • gorgeousuk anne hill (@gorgeousuk) reported from London, England

@foxinthebox2010 @virginmedia You do have a point @foxinthebox2010 though because they were asking if customers would be willing to pay £20 one off fee, then £15, £10, £5...which implies they could afford to upgrade for free but just want to squeeze more money of out their customers. We’ve had awful service

  • gorgeousuk anne hill (@gorgeousuk) reported from London, England

@foxinthebox2010 @virginmedia It was a customer insight survey sent to me by email. Gives you no chance to really voice your opinion as it’s just pushing the new box.

  • gorgeousuk anne hill (@gorgeousuk) reported from London, England

  • GoonerKJP Kaz 💋 (@GoonerKJP) reported from Stevenage District, England

Disgusting @virginmedia charging £56.49 for the most basic crap tv package and phone line. Think they are having my elderly mum on. I'll be cancelling that tomorrow. I pay over £10 less with sky for a better tv package, phone & broadband!

  • nigeljcp Nigel Pearce (@nigeljcp) reported from Barnet, England

Very disappointed with @virginmedia. Was offered a new price for a monthly deal on TV & broadband this morning. It was not activated. When I called back, was told that the deal didn't exist and wouldn't be given. The call was recorded! Abysmal customer service. Cancelled.

  • debswild DEBS WILD (@debswild) reported from London Colney, England

@virginmedia You are way too late! You ignored a bunch of us yesterday when we had outage for over 24 hours. Suddenly the mention of @BBCWatchdog & you're interested. Nah. Forget it. After chasing for hours, the eventual information was - as usual - vague & inaccurate.

@virginmedia When you are using your data in your own house so often, have Netflix, Now and Amazon Prime you pay for that you can’t even use when Broadband are down, you have to ask, what the HELL am I doing with a company that can’t provide a basic bloody service.

  • gorgeousuk anne hill (@gorgeousuk) reported from London, England

@virginmedia Or maybe that’s wishful thinking. Anyway. We will be considering our options over the weekend and I don’t think we will be staying with VM. Bad service is too regular now

  • gorgeousuk anne hill (@gorgeousuk) reported from London, England

@virginmedia The deeper check did not work because the internet is down and therefore the check did not work......it’s just so pathetic really

  • gorgeousuk anne hill (@gorgeousuk) reported from London, England

@virginmedia That would imply that I had faith in your services & belief that you cared about your customers. I know from the past that this is not the case. I have already checked and this problem is supposed to be fixed by 3pm, it has been ongoing since 8am. It really is tedious and boring

  • TallulahB4 Tallulah B (@TallulahB4) reported from London Colney, England

@virginmedia It was for landline and broadband. After hanging on for 25 minutes I gave up and put the phone down. You are currently charging me £59 a month whereas Sky have offered me a package for £26 a month

@TalkTalk I have no words for how shit your services are. I’m taking my talents to @virginmedia. Absolutely shambolic company F/O

  • Hamzah_Bhuta Hamzah Bhuta (@Hamzah_Bhuta) reported

@haveapizzame Awesome. I've got it myself. I quit also from virgin media. Not because it was slow. Because of the prices. It keeps on fluctuating. Whereas sky sticks to the plan. Which area you live in so I can find out the area broadband speed accurately

  • StevieMiles135s Steve Miles (@StevieMiles135s) reported

@TIMO317 @virginmedia I was fully prepared to terminate my BB with VM there and then. £40 for 69mb/s BB is horrendous. They sorted out an 18 month contract for 100mb/s at £27 month. I should've done it sooner. 🙂

  • absolutelynob15 absolutelynobody (@absolutelynob15) reported

@virginmedia atrocious service, completely and utterly unreliable for FOUR MONTHS now.

  • Binarytales Jon (@Binarytales) reported

@virginmedia It's a kick in the teeth to get a letter about price increases that also boats about new speeds I can't get as an existing customer. 😡 But double whammy: I find out I'm paying the equivalent of M350 but only getting M200. Way to screw over loyal customers VM. 😡

  • magicbird813 Emma (@magicbird813) reported

@virginmedia Would be wonderful if I was able to book it!!. Despite running tests, rebooting, trying to get through to a pointless office hours tech line I am unable to watch the PPV. Yet another problem with the services

  • Gardner1Stephen stephen gardner (@Gardner1Stephen) reported

@virginmedia the worst broadband around, we pay £120+ a month for the full media package and my 4G from Vodafone has a lot better signal than virgin WIFI...#timetochange

  • MrdashboFx Dashbo (@MrdashboFx) reported

@virginmedia Hi virgin media thanks for your generic reply. Fix your issues on WiFi

  • StevieMiles135s Steve Miles (@StevieMiles135s) reported

@virginmedia Hi. after recently contacting your CS after receiving an email to increase my monthly BB only service to £40, i was offered a new 18 month no increase contract for £27 😲 which i jumped at. Just shows, it helps if you complain to VM. I should complain more often. Ste

  • LouisPMertens Louis Mertens (@LouisPMertens) reported

@lizsilversmith @virginmedia I'm about to write a formal letter of complaint over repeatedly being over-charged £18 a month despite contacting them every single time it happens.
