@virginmedia Yeah... he he... when the broad band decides to work that might help.. when you get 'not connected' via ethernet and wifi the tests are a bit meaningless

  • sjdhatters I Make Stuff Up On Tw*tter (@sjdhatters) reported from Stoke Mandeville, England

@virginmedia Company has been wound up so there won't be any concerns about liability. This wouldn't be an issue if account had been set up properly in the first place Tried to do it properly and will screenshot the chat for future legal recourse

  • johnvasili1 VAS (@johnvasili1) reported from Hertfordshire, England

@virginmedia Unbelievably shockingly bad customer support today. 1hr 25 mins on the phone, spoke to 7 agents and no resolution 2 of your agents were excellent the rest were appaling. As a long standing customer I feel I have no option but to change provider. #virginfail

@virginmedia I’m on a sim only deal with you recently taken it out, but looks like I have under estimated how much data I need is it possible to switch to a higher data plan? And then if not needed move back down?

  • sjdhatters I Make Stuff Up On Tw*tter (@sjdhatters) reported from Stoke Mandeville, England

@virginmedia I refer back to my original tweet. Zero attempt to resolve my issue. Just can't do it. Your solution is not acceptable to me or new owner. Can you please provide details on how to escalate this to a complaint? What if I cancel DD and then set up new DD with new owner details?

  • brookersx5 amanda brooker (@brookersx5) reported from Hemel Hempstead, England

@virginmedia for 3rd time short gap in time my service is showing w02 with repairs just up the road .for the prices i pay i shouldnt pay full service when disrupted so much .a text saying you are doing repairs no good to a 2 year old waiting for peppa pig

  • ERS_SteveG SteveG@ERS (@ERS_SteveG) reported from Toddington, England

@skytv very poor service when switching to your service. Currently left without broadband for 2 weeks due to a BT Engineer not being able to go up a ladder to fit a cable! Regret leaving @virginmedia

  • johnvasili1 VAS (@johnvasili1) reported from Hertfordshire, England

@virginmedia Again why send me a bill when I'm no longer a customer

  • sjdhatters I Make Stuff Up On Tw*tter (@sjdhatters) reported from Stoke Mandeville, England

Dear @virginmedia Congratulations for the worst possible Customer Service going. Been hung up on twice. You don't deserve to be in business

  • Pensar_Mark Mark Williams (@Pensar_Mark) reported from Berkhamsted, England

@virginmedia Still no reply from @virginmedia over 8 hours after they promised they would call. Was told I would be called back at 12:00. It’s now 20:15. They seem to be oblivious to the very notion of customer service. #completefail

  • domoriley Dom O'Riley (@domoriley) reported from Milton Keynes, England

@virginmedia And @virginmedia another point.. you say you offer compensation when your service fails.. not charging me for something you aren’t delivering is NOT compensation.. like going to a restaurant and being told we won’t be charging u for the food we won’t serve!! A disgrace

  • CazDigital1 Caz Digital (@CazDigital1) reported from Hemel Hempstead, England

@virginmedia I’ve already done that. It says no known issues.

  • sjdhatters I Make Stuff Up On Tw*tter (@sjdhatters) reported from Stoke Mandeville, England

@virginmedia That's ridiculous. It's a business. Internet is critical. Thats not an acceptable solution

  • CazDigital1 Caz Digital (@CazDigital1) reported from Hemel Hempstead, England

@virginmedia hey. Board and doesn’t seem to be working at the moment. I’ve tried restarting twice and called to have a check on my equipment. That seems to be fine. When I restart it works for about 30 minutes and then goes down again. Thanks

  • Claydon8Tim tim (@Claydon8Tim) reported from Hitchin, England

@virginmedia Sorry. That’s it. Sorry. Yes I’ve checked and the WiFi is now working. I also checked and I’ll still be billed the full amount for a 2nd rate service that doesn’t in anyway match your glitzy empty advertising campaigns.

  • CazDigital1 Caz Digital (@CazDigital1) reported from Hemel Hempstead, England

    @virginmedia Completely down

@virginmedia Was told by Virgin on the phone today, there is a big problem that is affecting 25k people. They don't know what the issue actually is though(?) So Virgin Media *know* there is a huge issue affecting a very large amount of people.

  • straw481 straw48 (@straw481) reported

@virginmedia I've got to say that your disability service is absolutely hopeless!!! I've been waiting for over 2 hours for someone to get back to me. I can't login to my mobile account yet again!!! 😠

  • _666revelation Glenn Scott (@_666revelation) reported

@virginmedia AND I had to purchase my own extender because customer service says that's not what you do anymore!! Really?? According to your app you do!!

  • vsyptts Lisa Voisey (@vsyptts) reported

@virginmedia Thank you for the reply. Very much the same here, current download speed of 12.1mbps.... rather than expected average of 107mbps as on the m200 service. I have emailed a complaint, is there anything else you recommend?

  • Terryjdwyer Terry J Dwyer (@Terryjdwyer) reported

Thanks Virgin media, been a loyal customer for years. Needed to lower my bill because of job loss, my bill increased from £106.00 to £128.00, said nothing they can to do help me so I contacted sky and got a better package for £81.00, so much for loyalty.

  • MrBPrimaryEdu MrBrooksPrimaryEd (@MrBPrimaryEdu) reported

I follow the advice given to me, my equipment is sent to the wrong household twice. When it finally arrives it still provides me no internet ? I’m trying to work from home and your service is simply shocking @virginmedia @VMSolutions_

  • andrewbroaders Andrew Broadbent (@andrewbroaders) reported

@virginmedia Hi. 24 hours have elapsed and no response from VM to my forum post. Spent another 2 hours on the phone to VM today trying to get someone to look into the issue (or even admit that the problem exists). What do I do now? #virginmediadown

  • the_janner Ross Eady (@the_janner) reported

@virginmedia I've done that and it appears that because virgin have oversubscribed there is nothing that can be done. Please tell me how to make a formal complaint. Not only are you increasing prices, you're failing to provide a stable, satisfactory service.
