@virginmedia I’ll ring your call centre again tomorrow. When I’m paying nearly £65 a month for a service I’m not getting I don’t really feel I should have to post to a online community forum to solve the problem. A Virgin tech should come to my home & fix it!

  • sjdhatters

@virginmedia I refer back to my original tweet. Zero attempt to resolve my issue. Just can't do it. Your solution is not acceptable to me or new owner. Can you please provide details on how to escalate this to a complaint? What if I cancel DD and then set up new DD with new owner details?

The only good thing these new @virginmedia super hubs are good for is flying out of a window! Dropping internet connection like AH dropping her package on JD’s bed! Fricking awful service!

@MartinSLewis Virgin Media is not actually Virgin, it’s a ****** American company called Liberty with a license to use the Virgin Media branding. The real Virgin company should take the license off them for driving the name through the ****.

@virginmedia @botbusta999 Haven’t you just received a fine because of this exact thing forcing people to stay with you when you are providing substandard service for ridiculous prices

  • Minutemarketio
    Minute Market (@Minutemarketio) reported

Virgin Media Gets Fined 🫰 Virgin Media was hit with a £28 million, or roughly $37 million, fine by UK regulator Ofcom for repeatedly making it harder for customers to cancel contracts between 2022 and 2024. That is not just a consumer-rights story. It is a warning for telecom and subscription businesses that “retention tricks” can become regulatory liabilities. In a market obsessed with recurring revenue, cancellation friction is now a legal risk.
