@TheStevieG123 @virginmedia I had a similar issue with EE (plus the phone wasn't a good enough upgrade for the money!) I sent it back within 14 days and got a sim only. 5g prob won't be worthwhile over here for some time yet

@virginmedia Yeah... he he... when the broad band decides to work that might help.. when you get 'not connected' via ethernet and wifi the tests are a bit meaningless

  • ERS_SteveG SteveG@ERS (@ERS_SteveG) reported from Toddington, England

@skytv very poor service when switching to your service. Currently left without broadband for 2 weeks due to a BT Engineer not being able to go up a ladder to fit a cable! Regret leaving @virginmedia

  • LisaKathryn5 Lisa Kathryn (@LisaKathryn5) reported from St Albans, England

@virginmedia what is happening in AL3? Now saying 9am tomorrow before broadband repaired, this is almost a day of lost working time. Service is so bad, what is being done to make it more reliable?

  • jamescun James Cunningham (@jamescun) reported from London Colney, England

@doismellburning @danpalmer I have a self-hosted box with DigitalOcean in London. My use case is isolation from local networks and ISP privacy (I know I’m just moving the problem, but I trust DO more than Virgin Media). For those cases, VPN providers are a haven for data collection, so no.

  • NannyDebbs NannyDebbs (@NannyDebbs) reported from Hemel Hempstead, England

@virginmedia HP2 TV and Website down from 11am fix time please

  • JB_CFFire John B 💙🤍🔥💥🚴‍♂️⛷⭐️🇪🇺💫☄️ (@JB_CFFire) reported from Hertfordshire, England

@Paulos_the_fog @virginmedia Because of home working I upgraded to 350mbps package and was getting that until a few months ago measured using a variety of apps - now it’s down to 80 consistently.

@virginmedia I’m trying to help my mother-in-law who’s a registered cater, with her broadband. Her wi-fi signal is very patchy and it’s causing her problems (plus unnecessary extra stress). She has a Hub 3; can she get a Hub 4 without upgrading to Gig 1?

Virgin Media Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • BrianDoyle1974 Brian Thompson (@BrianDoyle1974) reported

@virginmedia Yes, my bill has jumped to £66 per month. How do I cancel?

  • atr8472 Andrew McCallum (@atr8472) reported

@sideshowtob @virginmedia @thinkbroadband Few friends, who run SME type buinesses, retail, deli / coffee bar, often have the router hidden away, tried to encourage them to mount a dedicated shelf, if Halo then locate it where you get a signal for it, tag the cables, everything now is IoT or connected

  • Bassy100 Martin Bass (@Bassy100) reported

@virginmedia your broadband service is complete sh*te I should not have to regularly turn off my phone Wi-Fi to access my internet bits & pieces. It’s a disgrace and will know think about leaving you. It affects my whole family

  • atr8472 Andrew McCallum (@atr8472) reported

@sideshowtob @virginmedia @thinkbroadband I've done a few installs for friends, you can mount the 4G Halo unit, somewhere else to the main BT router, as long it has an RJ45 port, then run a longer cable eg from wherever you get a better signal via 4G to the main router location eg comms area, if you have a rack or shelf

  • CrissBKreme Baking Bread (@CrissBKreme) reported

“…we'll be carrying out essential works on our network on Fri 05 Aug, which could interrupt your services. We're sorry about that & will try and get you back online as soon as possible.” @virginmedia could you not do this out of working hours? I work from home…

  • nichola_daly Nichola Daly MIH (@nichola_daly) reported

@virginmedia Yes, can you please provide an email address where I can forward proof of my new address, which regrettably you don’t provide a service in the area. I’m being charged a hefty early termination fee which is very unreasonable.

  • DrNFox Dr Fox (@DrNFox) reported

@virginmedia 1/2 Dear Virgin Media Customer Service Team, out of complete exasperation, I am contacting you via Twitter to express my utter frustration at the non-existent service you are providing my elderly cancer-stricken father. He has been without TV & internet for 3 months

@virginmedia why are you so incapable of keeping an Internet service running? Once a month MINIMUM it ***** up, tell @richardbranson to pull his wallet out and sort his dog **** service out

  • SarahIndge Sarah Indge (@SarahIndge) reported

@virginmedia Internet down in Swindon, and alarmingly landline phones because of the recent change. What’s happening? Can’t access my app on my phone either as poor reception and no internet!
