@virginmedia so I’ve had three weeks of hub issues 3 engineers out I tell you how to fix the issue but ignored 3rd manager to promise call backs and got nothing had 3 days wasted of my time and down service. Getting very 😡 when big companys disrespect their long term customers

  • xArtik RVNS Artik - Marcos (@xArtik) reported from Milton Keynes, England

@DarkDroid__ @Jukeyz @virginmedia I have Hyperoptic and really is the way. Takes literally minutes to get all activated & never had any issues in 8 months with it.

  • Dan_lutonbear dan@randrhotrodimports (@Dan_lutonbear) reported from Luton, England

@virginmedia do you actually have humans employed at your call centres ? After spending a total of 6 hours going from one recorded message to a automated line I have given up. I have absolutely had enough of your lack of customer service poor service poor quality broadband

  • jasondflynn Jason Flynn 💙 (@jasondflynn) reported from Letchworth Garden City, England

@Lindzell_LFC @virginmedia It’s their router. All the calls in the world won’t change the problem. You can buy a new router abs connect it to the Virgin one. Worked for me.

  • Dan_lutonbear dan@randrhotrodimports (@Dan_lutonbear) reported from Luton, England

@virginmedia 1st issue not being able to change address from 1 property to my new address (new build). 2nd issue trying to speak to someone to cancel our account.

  • 848Jake Jake Kirby (@848Jake) reported from Toddington, England

@virginmedia Not sure@of the model name - barcode on the back has two numbers C8 1862094XCCFRVD and M: 24374C4F1E0F - does that help you ?

  • flissaggie Phyllis Charles (@flissaggie) reported from Luton, England

@virginmedia been trying to speak to someone about my contract been fobbed off ' our system is down' or ' I will call back' still waiting!!!

  • lydia43632819 Niks (@lydia43632819) reported from Luton, England

@virginmedia #virginmedia lied to me when I join the network they I get a recommendation offer but I don’t get 😣

  • jasondflynn Jason Flynn 💙 (@jasondflynn) reported from Letchworth Garden City, England

@StMirrenDaft @virginmedia @mat_fraser One of the key issues is their router. It’s rubbish and has programming which means main signal isn’t direct for WiFi. I had this problem; buy another router and turn Virgin one into modem. It solved my problem.

  • swimmingsu Su Felce (@swimmingsu) reported from Cardington, England

@virginmedia 1/2 been on the phone for over an hour on hold waiting for customer service - finally get through and the customer service rep cuts me off before I even say what I want...

  • Dan_lutonbear dan@randrhotrodimports (@Dan_lutonbear) reported from Luton, England

@virginmedia Same as usual. Bots. Round and round in circles I want to cancel virgin media. Maybe you will contact me when I cancel any further direct debit payment 😡😡😡

  • swimmingsu Su Felce (@swimmingsu) reported from Cardington, England

So frustrated with @virginmedia spend over an hour on hold only to be cut off by their customer service rep #whatcustomerservice #frustrated #zerocustomerservice

  • jasondflynn Jason Flynn 💙 (@jasondflynn) reported from Letchworth Garden City, England

@AdamDea29742908 @virginmedia But buying one between £50 and £200 will probably suit most and if it turns out it doesn’t solve your problems it hasn’t broken the bank. I went for an Asus one at about £120. Netgear is another strong brand. I had poor WiFi for years and it was a massive improvement. 2/2

  • jasondflynn Jason Flynn 💙 (@jasondflynn) reported from Letchworth Garden City, England

@virginmedia You do realise that the majority of messages sent to you are people complaining that your Wi-Fi is very poor? So perhaps concentrate on that for existing clients rather than pushing new sales? Poor router is the issue. #slowerfaraway

  • jasondflynn Jason Flynn 💙 (@jasondflynn) reported from Letchworth Garden City, England

@virginmedia @mouthwaite Hi John; just jumping in on this. You really need to start advising customers properlyit doesn’t matter how many technicians visit it won’t solve the problem of the poor standard router and your default settings.

  • jasondflynn Jason Flynn 💙 (@jasondflynn) reported from Letchworth Garden City, England

@VisctFishpond @virginmedia I had similar problems to you; got the runaround from Virgin. Lots of research done and the issue is almost certainly the router. You can buy a third-party router and turn the virgin router into a modem. Solved all my problems. Worth a try.

  • 848Jake Jake Kirby (@848Jake) reported from Toddington, England

@virginmedia The issue has been random and, with typical timing, I can’t find it right now so I guess you can’t help.

  • Moyraluton Moyra Campbell (@Moyraluton) reported from Luton, England

@virginmedia l have been on the ph for hours all week trying to get though to cancel my contract. I even tried to use the Chat box and no assistant helped me. Your customer service it terrible. I would never use or recommend you to any of my friends. Answer the phone ,

  • bobster76 Robert Beahan 💙 (@bobster76) reported from Hertfordshire, England

Hi @virginmedia, my tv service isn’t working. Are there any issues in the SG14 area, please?

@LloydGriffith @virginmedia The worst company to deal with by some distance. Can never talk to anyone. Just some automated guff. Where you go round in circles

@virginmedia please advise if you are experiencing issues in the EX4 area, no wifi for the last hour but outage checker stating no issues??

  • smoggy_smithy Mark Smith (@smoggy_smithy) reported

@jamiemadden1989 @virginmedia You can’t do a speed test on wifi. So many things can interfere with it. Plug a laptop into the back of the router with a cat5e cable (or better) then run the same test. I’m not saying you don’t have an issue, as you may well might, but at least you can rule out the wifi signal.

  • XIXMusic Yung General (@XIXMusic) reported

@virginmedia Hello, I'm having massive issues with my WiFi today. It's been rebooted several times. It'll work for a bit then cut out again. A green light has come on a few times.

  • keezo1985 Neil Keenan (@keezo1985) reported

@virginmedia While I’ve removed the white box inside my house I still have some cabling coming through the wall from the brown box outside. Is this something that VM is able to remove for me as I worry about causing issues to be broadband connection if I try to remove them myself.

  • avenger_grey Jedi Avenger 🖤✊🏿🏳️‍🌈🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇺🇦♿💛💜 (@avenger_grey) reported
