-
Tony (@tony_cop) reported from Ampthill, England
@LloydGriffith @virginmedia The worst company to deal with by some distance. Can never talk to anyone. Just some automated guff. Where you go round in circles
-
Jason Flynn 💙 (@jasondflynn) reported from Letchworth Garden City, England
@Lindzell_LFC @virginmedia It’s their router. All the calls in the world won’t change the problem. You can buy a new router abs connect it to the Virgin one. Worked for me.
-
Jake Kirby (@848Jake) reported from Toddington, England
@virginmedia The issue has been random and, with typical timing, I can’t find it right now so I guess you can’t help.

@virginmedia Yes after a phone call. Now I'm actively looking into moving to @skytv after the poor service.
-
Su Felce (@swimmingsu) reported from Cardington, England
@virginmedia 1/2 been on the phone for over an hour on hold waiting for customer service - finally get through and the customer service rep cuts me off before I even say what I want...
-
Jake Kirby (@848Jake) reported from Toddington, England
@virginmedia We have been trying to contact you for 3 days for a replacement TiVo box. No answer on the telephone and online chat will not help us - not what I’d call Customer Service
-
Phyllis Charles (@flissaggie) reported from Luton, England
@virginmedia been trying to speak to someone about my contract been fobbed off ' our system is down' or ' I will call back' still waiting!!!
-
Simon Hale (@Halo1975) reported from Luton, England
@virginmedia 2nd day on the trot someone claiming to be from your ‘tech support’ dept. have called our landline no. claiming there’s a problem with our broadband; there’s not, it’s clearly a scam. I’ve a number that they called from to share with you if you like? Can I DM this??
-
Jason Flynn 💙 (@jasondflynn) reported from Letchworth Garden City, England
@StMirrenDaft @virginmedia @mat_fraser One of the key issues is their router. It’s rubbish and has programming which means main signal isn’t direct for WiFi. I had this problem; buy another router and turn Virgin one into modem. It solved my problem.
-
Moyra Campbell (@Moyraluton) reported from Luton, England
@virginmedia l have been on the ph for hours all week trying to get though to cancel my contract. I even tried to use the Chat box and no assistant helped me. Your customer service it terrible. I would never use or recommend you to any of my friends. Answer the phone ,
-
Ashley (@randellauk82) reported from Luton, England
@virginmedia so I’ve had three weeks of hub issues 3 engineers out I tell you how to fix the issue but ignored 3rd manager to promise call backs and got nothing had 3 days wasted of my time and down service. Getting very 😡 when big companys disrespect their long term customers
-
dan@randrhotrodimports (@Dan_lutonbear) reported from Luton, England
@virginmedia do you actually have humans employed at your call centres ? After spending a total of 6 hours going from one recorded message to a automated line I have given up. I have absolutely had enough of your lack of customer service poor service poor quality broadband
-
Jason Flynn 💙 (@jasondflynn) reported from Letchworth Garden City, England
@virginmedia @mouthwaite Hi John; just jumping in on this. You really need to start advising customers properlyit doesn’t matter how many technicians visit it won’t solve the problem of the poor standard router and your default settings.
-
Jason Flynn 💙 (@jasondflynn) reported from Letchworth Garden City, England
@VisctFishpond @virginmedia I had similar problems to you; got the runaround from Virgin. Lots of research done and the issue is almost certainly the router. You can buy a third-party router and turn the virgin router into a modem. Solved all my problems. Worth a try.
-
Jake Kirby (@848Jake) reported from Toddington, England
@virginmedia Not sure@of the model name - barcode on the back has two numbers C8 1862094XCCFRVD and M: 24374C4F1E0F - does that help you ?
-
Jason Flynn 💙 (@jasondflynn) reported from Letchworth Garden City, England
@virginmedia You do realise that the majority of messages sent to you are people complaining that your Wi-Fi is very poor? So perhaps concentrate on that for existing clients rather than pushing new sales? Poor router is the issue. #slowerfaraway
-
Su Felce (@swimmingsu) reported from Cardington, England
So frustrated with @virginmedia spend over an hour on hold only to be cut off by their customer service rep #whatcustomerservice #frustrated #zerocustomerservice
-
Jason Flynn 💙 (@jasondflynn) reported from Letchworth Garden City, England
@AdamDea29742908 @virginmedia But buying one between £50 and £200 will probably suit most and if it turns out it doesn’t solve your problems it hasn’t broken the bank. I went for an Asus one at about £120. Netgear is another strong brand. I had poor WiFi for years and it was a massive improvement. 2/2

Let's get back to normal #KBF (@TMITV19) reported from Bedford, England
@virginmedia The outcome of the call was what I wanted. I mean your pour service telling people to sit online for 4 hours waiting for someone to talk to me rather than call your call centres. If I'd called up straight away I'd not have needed to tweet you. You didn't even tweet back quickly.

-
Tony Bradman (@tbradman) reported
@virginmedia ...and what your company is telling me is that you can’t provide the service I’m paying over £500 a year for, and it’s my responsibility to chase you every other day until you do. Way to go, @virginmedia
-
Lucy Fraser (@Lucy_22) reported
@virginmedia Over the past 3months there has been occasions where the speeds are terrible due to both known area issues and not. No clear cause but frustrating. Only 2 adult house so would expect there to be enough speed for the TV, if nothing else used
-
dazz ii am (@dazzgedd73) reported
@virginmedia I don’t have 30mins to spend on hold like yesterday I will let them call me but the phone Lind to your call centre is poor and their are hard to understand as they have strong accents, I am in the process of emailing customer complaints
-
D (@DNCLB) reported
@virginmedia It has been the last month or so. Sometimes connection drops for a minute sometimes half an hour. Are Virgin not struggling with connection issues recently? My friend in another part of town had the same thing for months and had to move to Sky.
-
Tony Bradman (@tbradman) reported
@virginmedia It seems bizarre that you’re the Virgin Media Twitter team and yet you don’t have access to accounts. And why can’t you tell me what you’re doing in my area to solve the problem? I mean, what are you actually for?
-
DADam (@a_damster) reported
@virginmedia No fix time. Meanwhile I am paying for 200mbs that disconnections every 5 minutes. How am I meant to work from home tomorrow?
-
Damian Kinsella 💙 #wearamask #protectlives (@damokinsella82) reported
@ColinBrown1968 @virginmedia The worst customer service, they might claim there amazing. They really aren't. BT or Sky now. They might be slower, but we can upto 50mb which is more than sufficient!!
-
Simona Tagliacozzo (@SimonaT007) reported
@virginmedia What do you mean, the issue is with the broadband you provide.
-
Del 🌈 (@derrickca) reported
@elijahcooperx18 @virginmedia Unlikely I’m afraid. All I wanted to do was ask a really quick question. I’m giving up now sadly. Thanks buddy for your help 👍🏼
