One time I got accosted by a @virginmedia person on a street, trying to get me to sign up. I told him there was no chance of that happening due to their awful customer service. He gave me a curse heavy reply, telling me how useless I was. I'm still with Sky.
-
Erin Dog (@Erinthedog) reported from Stevenage District, England
@virginmedia Thanks for the reply, 40 mins on hold to the call centre, the network connection had been lost, was talked thru resetting it. All working now.

@virginmedia I would of preferred to stay but your advisor was not helpful at all and wasn’t interested in keeping me as a customer. I guess we will see if someone rings or not.
-
Lynn Beattie (@MrsMummypennyUK) reported from Knebworth, England
@virginmedia I've just made a complaint. My broadband contract is up for renewal 7th July, but you only just sent me a letter this week telling me monthly bill was changing from £38 to £54!!. This letter should have been received 30 days before 7th July!! @ofcom @KatieMorley_
-
Matt Lucas (@MattLucasTweets) reported from Bedford, England
Hey @virginmedia, can you please let me know what your formal complaints procedure is? Just experienced an absolutely horrific customer service call
-
Greg Stewart (@gregstewart) reported from Hitchin, England
@virginmedia help please. Both IOS Apps are failing, can’t login or reset, no answers online, no phone support and been alone on your webchat for 30 minutes.
-
Angell812 (@Angell8121) reported from Stevenage District, England
The staff @virginmedia are so rude. Called to renew my package and was dealt with appallingly. Offering extortionate prices for a lesser package than I already have. Virgin are clearly not interested in keeping their loyal customers. Looks like it’s back over to Sky.#virginmedia
-
Greg Stewart (@gregstewart) reported from Hitchin, England
@virginmedia New customer . You were prompt with billing for 2 months ‘service’ immediately. Now it has stopped. Cannot access VM phone apps, nor login on web, reset password, get answers online, or phone or chat. Please contact me to cancel. (23 May 2020 , 12:20)

Karma🖤 (@Carahaych_) reported
@virginmedia how long with the internet be down for in the WS3 area?
-
Cllr Donna Greaves (@Donna4Rainhill) reported
@virginmedia You've flatly refused to take a report of a fault for an elderly customer who's landline is faulty when somebody else has tried to report it for them you have said "computer says no" Your CSR confirmed "you do not have a dept that deals with vulnerable customers" WOW JUST WOW!
-
Samo Chandler (@SamoEdits) reported
@geraintthomas @TalkTalk Get Virgin Media fibre. Yes they're more expensive, and don't have great customer service themselves and won't give good deals to keep your business after your contract is up. But I've rarely ever had disconnection problems, the odd area-wide issue. But mostly always reliable.
-
Lita Doolan (@Litadoolan) reported
@virginmedia Yes still an issue. @richardbranson please advise. #virgin #email #volt
-
✨SynchroJack88 - TL47✨ (@SynchroJack88) reported
@virginmedia I’m no novice and have worked in technology for over 14 years. I know how to reboot a router etc and it doesn’t solve the issue! Funny how the service deteriorated after the cooling off period ends
-
Mia Culpa (@UBSixT) reported
Further to previous @virginmedia tweet..just got a call back from Glasgow..they had a power outage so call was ended,Lady confirmed 150 call if I press option disconnection will go through to a UK call centre but it can be any of six or can be outsourced no numbers kniown. FARCE!
-
Ricki Wellman (@rickiwellman) reported
@virginmedia really need to sort out your business broadband services, have had NO internet all morning and have been told a fix will be done around 5/6pm, how am I meant to run a business 🤬
-
Peter Wells (@peterwells79) reported
@MelHorrocks19 @virginmedia Have you got a good data package in you phone contract? I use my iPhone as a Wi-Fi hot spot when my broadband goes down at work (not Virgin)
-
Cllr Donna Greaves (@Donna4Rainhill) reported
@virginmedia Furthermore a complaint was made from one virgin customer about the lack of support asking you to test the line for a fault and you incredulously sent a copy of that complaint to... the customer account that you are unable to act upon or test, that is just utter madness Virgin
-
Peter Rossi (@prprivate) reported
@virginmedia Virgin Media do - I don’t want you to call me from “Twitter” you have my complaint ID, please get someone to review it who has the capacity to resolve it and get them to call me
