Jason Flynn 💙 (@jasondflynn) reported from Letchworth Garden City, England@virginmedia @mouthwaite Hi John; just jumping in on this. You really need to start advising customers properlyit doesn’t matter how many technicians visit it won’t solve the problem of the poor standard router and your default settings.
-
Garry Solomon (@gsolomonphoto) reported from Rushden, England@virginmedia on a 200mbps download package and I’m averaging 9mbps this morning! I understand there might be heavier traffic at the moment, but we can’t do any work from home with such poor service!! #stayconnected I would if I could!!
-
Jason Flynn 💙 (@jasondflynn) reported from Letchworth Garden City, England@AdamDea29742908 @virginmedia But buying one between £50 and £200 will probably suit most and if it turns out it doesn’t solve your problems it hasn’t broken the bank. I went for an Asus one at about £120. Netgear is another strong brand. I had poor WiFi for years and it was a massive improvement. 2/2

John Aitken (@johnait72020789) reported from Stotfold, England@virginmedia Hi I’ve tried using the link you sent to fix our problem but it keeps just turn off and restarting itself. It happens whether we watch live tv or recorded programmes.
-
Tyler Quantrill (@TylerQ2001) reported from Rushden, England@virginmedia No known issues in the area, and then the services test doesn’t work either? 😕
-
Jason Flynn 💙 (@jasondflynn) reported from Letchworth Garden City, England@virginmedia Sorry but the old ‘we don’t have email addresses’ doesn’t work. Everyone does. It’s just company policy not to hand them out. The key issue is that with this level of service, someone should say ‘leave it with us, we’ll look into it and someone will get back to you’ 1/2
-
Lee Hammond (@StopItRawr) reported from Biggleswade, England@BrianHandscomb @virginmedia You know when an ISP is broken when this happens. Not a great start to my working day heh.

-
Jason Flynn 💙 (@jasondflynn) reported from Letchworth Garden City, England@virginmedia It’s not specific to me; and to be honest I’m not really bothered. The problem is your marketing 5G phones in areas that don’t have 5G which is affectively mis-selling. Probably something you should look into.
-
benj clews (@benjclews) reported from Letchworth Garden City, EnglandI can’t figure out who the biggest ******* is: the previous owners of our new house who didn’t bother to cancel their Virgin Media broadband account or @virginmedia who won’t set up my broadband until they cancel it #incompetentTwats

-
Jason Flynn 💙 (@jasondflynn) reported from Letchworth Garden City, England@virginmedia And to re-emphasise what I’ve said countless times before; you’re wasting peoples time, because you don’t tell them that it is your router that causes most of the problems. Can’t believe @Ofcom allow this.
-
maggie.todd@live.co. (@maggietodd10) reported from Letchworth Garden City, England@virginmedia This problem was reported 11th November 2021. You promised to correct the problem by 18th November.

Carl Harris (@Carlgooutdoors) reported from Bedford, England@virginmedia Hi, I am trying to reduce the services on my contract but your contact service is very poor. Upgrade? No problem we answer straight away. Reduce?? Wait for ages with no reply. 11 years a customer and yet this is how you treat me!
-
Jason Flynn 💙 (@jasondflynn) reported from Letchworth Garden City, England@VisctFishpond @virginmedia I had similar problems to you; got the runaround from Virgin. Lots of research done and the issue is almost certainly the router. You can buy a third-party router and turn the virgin router into a modem. Solved all my problems. Worth a try.

Dips (@Ndola19) reported@moonpeach212 @virginmedia Hey, VM will not sort anything out. I have spent so much time trying to sort out my issue as O2 failed to apply my Volt benefit. VM claims they have done everything while O2 claim they are waiting for VM confirmation. They drag the issue out hoping you will go away
-
Frazzz (@FrazzzYT) reported@virginmedia Apparently you're still looking into issues in the area... two months on from looking into issues in the area
-
Captain Howdy (@colonbarbarian) reported@Dratcliffe1986 @virginmedia @ExeterBub You need to first register the outage through Virgin media itself. I do this everytime there is an outage. Virgin will usually then give you any compensation, if they don't, then report to Ofcom.
-
Paul Green (@pgreen83) reported@virginmedia I have sent you two private messages and have not had a response. Is this how you treat customer complaints?
-
Jim Davies (Ex Labour Voter & Member) (@Davies133) reported@virginmedia 30 minutes and counting waiting for someone on your retentions line to pick up the phone!!! It looks like I'm not alone in wanting to leave. Is this what counts for customer service? 😡
-
Openreach (@WeAreOpenreach) reported@RDadpour Good Morning Reza, Thanks for contacting Openreach today regarding your query, If you have not used a provider that uses the Openreach network for more then 2 year (i.e. City Fibre/ Virgin Media) What happens the address gets de-activated from our network but it will still (1/2)

APTS Archive (@APTSArchive) reported@virginmedia we notified you in early July that we would be moving on 31st. You deemed our new address as unserviceable & therefore there would be no early termination fee & to return the kit to you. I have made in excess of 10 phone calls with your moving home team - amount to several hours getting contradictory information every time I've phoned, depending on who I spoke with. On Wednesday you took £1,070 from our bank account, causing us to become overdrawn, despite assurances from your moving home team that there was an extension on our account in order to give us time to return the kit, & no early termination fee would be charged. The kit was returned to you on Wednesday morning. Upon phoning yesterday (yet again), I was dealt with someone that might as well have been a robot, he's inability to listen & constant repeating set phrases over & over again was of little help & particularly annoying. You have made the issue of moving home particularly difficult and stressful, which for a company of your size I find inexcusable. I emailed your moving home team on Tuesday & yesterday yet have still not received a reply, despite being told in a phone call my email would be dealt with as a matter or urgency! I'm resorting to public exposure in the vain hope there will be some action & you will expedite this matter.

G (@gemgemmzzzz1) reported@virginmedia It’s been going on for weeks now and the completion date keeps getting pushed back meanwhile I have to deal with terrible internet connection
