-
Gordon Brown (@KTMGordo) reported from Saint Neots, EnglandOh joy. Christmas Eve and @virginmedia has a fault that apparently won’t be fixed until 4 January. No TV or internet then this Christmas whilst stuck at home on my own 😢 ...although the service status page says ‘good service’ 🤔

-
Rob Anderson #TipToeingOutOfHibernation (@Tech_Analyst_UK) reported from Bedford, England@virginmedia I'm well aware of the service status page, but when it just gives a generic 'we know there's a problem and hope to get it fixed by 3pm' it's not very helpful. But seemingly the chatbot is even less so. Just lost connection for the 3rd time in 28 hours. #Anyone4Starlink?
-
Tyler Quantrill (@TylerQ2001) reported from Rushden, England@virginmedia broadband down? Woke up with it connected but not working at all?
-
Trushār Patel (@trushar108) reported from Wellingborough, England@Virgin @virginmedia @richardbranson Dear Virgin Media, unlawful pretending fraudulent callers keep ringing us about a nonsense router signal issue and hacked IP network? Can you please implement preventative measures to protect vulnerable community members living in the UK. Thx
-
Jason Flynn 💙 (@jasondflynn) reported from Letchworth Garden City, England@Lindzell_LFC @virginmedia It’s their router. All the calls in the world won’t change the problem. You can buy a new router abs connect it to the Virgin one. Worked for me.
-
maggie.todd@live.co. (@maggietodd10) reported from Letchworth Garden City, England@virginmedia We can’t use landline because of fault. Tried mobile - no response. We shouldn’t have to keep reporting. You know there is a problem. Fix it please.
-
Jason Flynn 💙 (@jasondflynn) reported from Letchworth Garden City, England@AdamDea29742908 @virginmedia But buying one between £50 and £200 will probably suit most and if it turns out it doesn’t solve your problems it hasn’t broken the bank. I went for an Asus one at about £120. Netgear is another strong brand. I had poor WiFi for years and it was a massive improvement. 2/2
-
Jay Atkins (@jay_atkins7) reported from Eaton Socon, England@virginmedia trying to book an engineer to come out as my Internet has been down for over a week now and having no luck over the phone as it keeps cutting us off, can you help please.
-
Let's get back to normal #KBF (@TMITV19) reported from Bedford, England@virginmedia The outcome of the call was what I wanted. I mean your pour service telling people to sit online for 4 hours waiting for someone to talk to me rather than call your call centres. If I'd called up straight away I'd not have needed to tweet you. You didn't even tweet back quickly.
-
Paul Watts (@paulwatts003) reported from Biggleswade, EnglandFor the 4th time this weekend, @virginmedia is down. 4th time in actually less than 2days! I’m back to work tomorrow - from home. Am I’m going to end up losing money due to this incompetence?? No confidence in this company.
-
Weanie4🇬🇧🏴 (@Weanie4) reported from Stotfold, England@virginmedia why do you advertise high broadband speeds yet I never get over 17mbs more often in single figures, whenever I phone up it improves for 24hrs, your helpline is a waste of time and I regularly get outages as well, as in most days
-
Jo Buxton (@JEM1429) reported from Biggleswade, England@virginmedia @virginmedia My husband adjusted our VM package to include an extra V6 box in a bedroom. Engineer booked in 6 weeks ago. Turned up last week without the box. He said he'd call back 3 days later to install. He didn't turn up. We've phoned your customer services over
Virgin Media Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Charley Northwood (@CharleyNorthwo2) reportedProblem with this is £28M is probably small pocket change to @virginmedia. They will laugh it off and carry on as they have been. What should have happened is a ban on signing up new customers for a period, say 6 months. That might have concentrated their minds a bit.
-
Groupthink Blogs (@GroupthinkBlogs) reported@simonlevans @virginmedia They even admitted they did so. I remember trying to cancel my mum's contract 10 years ago, took me 2 hours. Most people would have given up.
-
Chris Mullan (@ericthecatmk2) reported@Ofcom I had this problem with Virgin Media 4 years ago and told them the reason I'd never go back to them was because how difficult they'd made it for me to leave them. Months of stress
-
🐰 🦄 Kimberly 🦄 🐰 (@Nesphalim) reported@BBCNews This doesn't surprise me. Virgin Media treat their customers horrendously.

-
Xmarksthespot (@hopskipjumpy) reported@MatthewStadlen @virginmedia Virgin Media are the single most useless, duplicitous, awful company on the planet. I wouldn't piss on them if they were on fire.
-
Disco Dave (@DiscooDave1969) reported@BBCNews @virginmedia I am disappointed the fine is not higher. Let this be a warning to anyone thinking of moving to them. They will offer a great 12 month deal and then double the price in year 2 and making it extremely possible to cancel.
-
Corax (@Refan80) reported@virginmedia you are down in my area yet again. I get pushed to WhatsApp to chat about the problem and you don't reply to me there. Your service has been getting steadily worse. I doubt I will renew with you when the contract is up.
-
WimpingEgo (@WimpingEgo) reported@EE At what stage of the order would I get a set up/ connection date please. @virginmedia have let me down far to many times so looking to switch to a new ISP
