Jason Flynn 💙 (@jasondflynn) reported from Letchworth Garden City, England

@virginmedia Sorry but the old ‘we don’t have email addresses’ doesn’t work. Everyone does. It’s just company policy not to hand them out. The key issue is that with this level of service, someone should say ‘leave it with us, we’ll look into it and someone will get back to you’ 1/2

  • ushererofsouls
✨kate✨ (@ushererofsouls) reported from Harlington, England

@virginmedia Hi. I can see there’s an ongoing issue with the TV in my area with fix date of 1600hrs 25th. This has been going on for over a week now & the blips/surges through the box & it constantly resetting is becoming really annoying & has even taken the wifi out sometimes.

  • Gturv
GTT* (@Gturv) reported from Bedford, England

@virginmedia No fault that describes my issue. Tried fault page but led to a dead link.

  • Clare55A
Clare grennan (@Clare55A) reported from Bedford, England

@Haddy51 @virginmedia Yes I’m having exactly the same problem... so frustrating and despite following all the tips hints am not getting anywhere. I can’t even log into my account on line as it says my email is an old ntlworld account which I haven’t used for years

  • Tech_Analyst_UK
Rob Anderson #TipToeingOutOfHibernation (@Tech_Analyst_UK) reported from Bedford, England

@virginmedia I'm well aware of the service status page, but when it just gives a generic 'we know there's a problem and hope to get it fixed by 3pm' it's not very helpful. But seemingly the chatbot is even less so. Just lost connection for the 3rd time in 28 hours. #Anyone4Starlink?

  • kahoona7
Paul Brennan (@kahoona7) reported from Barton-le-Clay, England

@virginmedia any known issues with broadband in the Mk45 area? Tried your internet checker which says no issues but my internet down for the last hour? Tried all the usual steps to try and resolve 😞

  • PurpleWisdom
purplewisdom (@PurpleWisdom) reported from Bedford, England

@virginmedia @markscamilleri I have no service at all despite you saying it’s been restored. Can’t even get into the website to report. Everything is down even though it’s showing it isn’t.

  • beckybaldock77
Becky (@beckybaldock77) reported from Baldock, England

@virginmedia bill was supposed to be reduced to accommodate the lack of Sky sports, bt sports etc etc etc. But no. Great. Thanks. Final nail in the proverbial coffin. Customer loyalty accounts for nothing with you. Will be looking to go elsewhere.

  • johnait72020789
John Aitken (@johnait72020789) reported from Stotfold, England

@virginmedia Hi virgin just rang the phone number you have gave us to call but we went through using the key pad and then all you said was we will send a text message with way to fix which don’t work.

  • jasondflynn
Jason Flynn 💙 (@jasondflynn) reported from Letchworth Garden City, England

@virginmedia Totally shocking service from your team today. Nearly 2 hours of calls. Cut off; not being put through to disconnections and effectively being called a liar. Interested @virginmedia ? @MartinSLewis one for you

  • TMITV19
Let's get back to normal #KBF (@TMITV19) reported from Bedford, England

@virginmedia The outcome of the call was what I wanted. I mean your pour service telling people to sit online for 4 hours waiting for someone to talk to me rather than call your call centres. If I'd called up straight away I'd not have needed to tweet you. You didn't even tweet back quickly.

  • PurpleWisdom
purplewisdom (@PurpleWisdom) reported from Bedford, England

@virginmedia @markscamilleri I’ve tried rebooting nothing is happening. All these people telling you they have no service can’t all be wrong. Stop giving us the same answer, we’re not idiots.

  • Jagercraig
Craig (@Jagercraig) reported from Saint Neots, England

@virginmedia can you help? Recently got broadband with you and my iPhone won’t stay connected

  • jasondflynn
Jason Flynn 💙 (@jasondflynn) reported from Letchworth Garden City, England

@StMirrenDaft @virginmedia @mat_fraser One of the key issues is their router. It’s rubbish and has programming which means main signal isn’t direct for WiFi. I had this problem; buy another router and turn Virgin one into modem. It solved my problem.

  • TylerQ2001
Tyler Quantrill (@TylerQ2001) reported from Rushden, England

@virginmedia broadband down? Woke up with it connected but not working at all?

  • PaulGrayDJ
Paul Gray (@PaulGrayDJ) reported from Flitwick, England

@virginmedia @pauldonkin09 App not working and you get the same issue when you try to log via the website.

  • MickRooksby
Mick Rooksby 🔰🎯🎯 🔰 (@MickRooksby) reported from Rushden, England

@virginmedia my wife @sj_rooksby has been ringing u this morning first time for 30+ mins and someone hung up and then again for 56mins before being hung up on again she only wants to add cinema and Disney plus one well and truly pissed off customer

  • l_m_h_76
lee hamilton (@l_m_h_76) reported from Stotfold, England

    I don’t know what’s worse @primevideosport shocking #streaming service or @virginmedia shite internet service #CRYLEI

  • jasondflynn
Jason Flynn 💙 (@jasondflynn) reported from Letchworth Garden City, England

@Lindzell_LFC @virginmedia It’s their router. All the calls in the world won’t change the problem. You can buy a new router abs connect it to the Virgin one. Worked for me.

  • WhiteShadowCos
George 'guy with the coat' Massingham (@WhiteShadowCos) reported from Wellingborough, England

I'll be glad to leave @virginmedia superfast nothing most of the time! 'Reliable' my a**e only thing thats reliable is that it'll go down every 3 weeks... we must be entitled to leave for free surely with how often this has happened.

10+ years. 50M+ users. £11M+ revenue impact. Mercedes. Citibank. Sky. Virgin Media. NatWest. Here's what I learned: Bad product flows can cost thousands, or even millions, in lost revenue. Regardless of company size. What kills conversions in big-name products does the same for startups: - Onboarding that loses people in the first 60 secs - Pricing pages that confuse instead of convert - Sign-up flows that cause decision fatigue I’ve seen that when you fix these - you get more from the traffic you already have. Now I build those same systems for funded startups - so they keep the users they've already paid to get.

  • IsTheTruthToxic
    Face palm Vengance (@IsTheTruthToxic) reported

@virginmedia Yes it does and it’s a bad system. Your tortuous phone tree system makes talking to the right people very difficult, having to phone for the best deal instead of being offered it by daily is predatory and unnecessary, you know the problems so fix them

  • ads913
    keith addy (@ads913) reported

@virginmedia I understand they're introductory, but the gap is £51/month for the identical package. That's not a normal "new customer discount" that's a loyalty penalty. What can you actually offer me?

  • paul_k_toner

@virginmedia what’s the issue in G72 area? Was supposed to be fixed overnight and now set to be out all day?

  • chinoalemano
    ChinoAleman (@chinoalemano) reported

Everyone's focused on $AMPG's US story. And fair enough, they're expanding fast across America. The only American 64T64R AI-RAN radio, deployed at Telus, a Strategic Partner in the DoD-funded Open6G hub next to $NVDA and $QCOM, and the CEO just said new major carriers may go straight to POs next quarter. The US story alone is plenty. But here's what almost nobody is connecting: it was never going to stop at America. On the last earnings call, CEO Fawad Maqbool pointed somewhere else entirely: "Our success being the largest O-RAN deployment in America is helping us reach out and reach further into Europe and other areas of the world". That's the strategy in one sentence. Win the flagship at home, then use that credibility as a passport into other markets. And it isn't just talk. The groundwork is already there. Receipt 1, the concrete one: AMPG signed a 5-year supplier agreement with Fujitsu Spain back in October 2024, explicitly expanding its reach across Europe, Africa and the Middle East. So when the CEO says "Europe," there's already a signed, multi-year channel underneath the words. Receipt 2 is hiding in plain sight: the United Kingdom. Look at AmpliTech's customer wall and you'll find Digital Catapult. Most people scroll right past it. But Digital Catapult isn't a random logo. It's a UK government-backed innovation organization, funded through Innovate UK and DSIT (the UK's Department for Science, Innovation and Technology). And it runs SONIC Labs, the country's flagship Open RAN testing facility. Here's where AMPG enters. Its 64T64R Massive MIMO radio was tested at the O-RAN Global PlugFest in London, hosted at SONIC Labs, with HTC's G-REIGN providing the DU/CU stack and AmpliTech bringing the radio. The only American radio in the room, validated inside a UK government-funded laboratory. Now the part that makes it interesting. Who advises SONIC Labs? All four of Britain's major operators: EE/BT, Three, Virgin Media O2 and Vodafone UK. They sit on its advisory board, shaping what they need from Open RAN vendors and acting as potential future buyers of the vendors who pass through. So picture it. AMPG's radio validated in a government-backed UK lab, whose advisory board is a who's-who of every major British carrier. The entire UK Open RAN buying ecosystem, in one room, watching the only American radio perform. Now let me be completely honest, because that's the only way this is worth anything. There is no signed UK contract. The British operators advise SONIC Labs, they do not own it, and they haven't bought anything from AMPG yet. This was a product-validation milestone, not a revenue event. Anyone telling you the UK government or a British carrier is about to hand AMPG a deal is getting ahead of the facts. A foot in the door is not a sale. But here's why it matters AMPG keeps showing up in exactly the rooms that matter. The US DoD-funded Open6G hub. The O-RAN Global PlugFest as the only American 64T64R radio to pass. A signed channel into Europe via Fujitsu Spain. And now a UK government-backed lab advised by every major British operator. And the CEO saying they'll expand to Europe. That's the pattern. The same playbook, repeated across the Western world: get the only American radio validated, get it in front of the buyers, and let the sovereignty tailwind do the rest. One market at a time. This isn't a company waiting to be discovered. It's methodically getting itself in front of every major Open RAN buyer in the US and Europe, one validation at a time. The contracts are the next step, not the first one. A foot in the door isn't a deal. But you never get the deal without it first. And AMPG's foot is now in a lot of very important doors. Still sub-$1B while all of this quietly compounds. Not financial advice. I'm long $AMPG. DYOR. 📡
