@maesozinha @virginmedia They don’t answer this question for some reason. 🤔. But use this virus for an excuse for poor service and slow response times.

@virginmedia Hi yes I’ve check all cables are in correct and I’ve turn off from socket and removed plug then put back the plug after 30 seconds but it didn’t help it still turn itself off twice after doing it.

  • benjclews
benj clews (@benjclews) reported from Letchworth Garden City, England

I can’t figure out who the biggest ******* is: the previous owners of our new house who didn’t bother to cancel their Virgin Media broadband account or @virginmedia who won’t set up my broadband until they cancel it #incompetentTwats

@virginmedia your #internet is absolutely diabolical you may offer the fastest speed but pointless without a decent service

  • Gturv
GTT (@Gturv) reported from Bedford, England

In a constantly changing world we need something to rely on. @virginmedia can guarantee that you will be kept on hold long enough to see if you die waiting for help. #crapcustomerserviceasusual

  • Tech_Analyst_UK
Rob Anderson #TipToeingOutOfHibernation (@Tech_Analyst_UK) reported from Bedford, England

@virginmedia I'm well aware of the service status page, but when it just gives a generic 'we know there's a problem and hope to get it fixed by 3pm' it's not very helpful. But seemingly the chatbot is even less so. Just lost connection for the 3rd time in 28 hours. #Anyone4Starlink?

  • Clare55A
Clare grennan (@Clare55A) reported from Bedford, England

@Haddy51 @virginmedia Yes I’m having exactly the same problem... so frustrating and despite following all the tips hints am not getting anywhere. I can’t even log into my account on line as it says my email is an old ntlworld account which I haven’t used for years

  • johnait72020789
John Aitken (@johnait72020789) reported from Stotfold, England

@virginmedia why do I only get a notice saying channel failed when I watch sky sports channel live, I can watch any other channel you provide me and don’t have a issue. I have done everything that you tell me to do but it still keeps happening.

  • johnait72020789
John Aitken (@johnait72020789) reported from Stotfold, England

@virginmedia Hi I’ve tried using the link you sent to fix our problem but it keeps just turn off and restarting itself. It happens whether we watch live tv or recorded programmes.

@virginmedia Hi. I can see there’s an ongoing issue with the TV in my area with fix date of 1600hrs 25th. This has been going on for over a week now & the blips/surges through the box & it constantly resetting is becoming really annoying & has even taken the wifi out sometimes.

  • SsiiicckkkNails
PrettyInPinkNailbar (@SsiiicckkkNails) reported from Bedford, England

@virginmedia WiFi has been down since last night, no faults in my area, green lights just flash on my hub. #help

  • Just_Woodbridge

  • gsolomonphoto
Garry Solomon Photography (@gsolomonphoto) reported from Rushden, England

@virginmedia My broadband fluctuates, but even when I’m getting above 200mbps WiFi , my Ethernet to the back of the house is 5-10mbps. I’ve done all your tests, but read lots of comments that this is due to the virgin hub. Can you find a solution so I can work from home please!

  • jasondflynn
Jason Flynn 💙 (@jasondflynn) reported from Letchworth Garden City, England

@virginmedia It’s coming up to 3 hours wait on WhatsApp on TOP of 3 hours of phone calls. Do your teams compete for the worst service levels @virginmedia ?

  • jasondflynn
Jason Flynn 💙 (@jasondflynn) reported from Letchworth Garden City, England

@virginmedia @Ofcom - can you help with this situation? As you monitor, telecoms companies; Do you think 3-hours worth of phone calls, being cut off 3 times and 80 minutes on WhatsApp (and counting) is good enough service from @virginmedia just to renew a contract ? #virginmedia

  • MattLucasTweets
Matt Lucas (@MattLucasTweets) reported from Bedford, England

Hey @virginmedia, can you please let me know what your formal complaints procedure is? Just experienced an absolutely horrific customer service call

  • jasondflynn
Jason Flynn 💙 (@jasondflynn) reported from Letchworth Garden City, England

@StephenD1402 @virginmedia It’s the router Steve. The free Virgin router is the problem. Buy a new router from someone like Asus and turn the Virgin one to Modem mode. Should solve most problems.

  • swimmingsu
Su Felce (@swimmingsu) reported from Cardington, England

@virginmedia 1/2 been on the phone for over an hour on hold waiting for customer service - finally get through and the customer service rep cuts me off before I even say what I want...

  • Just_Woodbridge
Justine (@Just_Woodbridge) reported from Wellingborough, England

@virginmedia I have sent text messages to the number you provided on here, and I last spoke to several customer representatives on 26th January, then asked to speak to a manager, was put on hold for 50 minutes, then you cut me off/the line went dead. So, nothing has been resolved.

  • jasondflynn
Jason Flynn 💙 (@jasondflynn) reported from Letchworth Garden City, England

@virginmedia None. Last three phone calls were cut off. I don’t really want to phone again, spend 20 minutes only to be cut off again. Can you help ?

  • O_E_W
    Our Electric World (@O_E_W) reported

@TheEvEngineer @gigaclear @MartinSLewis I used to get the same with Virgin Media when it was our only option. Simple solution is to swap and change to the cheaper deals. I got an Orbi mesh router a while back. It should help simplify our next swap as it keeps the same network name whatever company we’re with.

  • Malcolm_Sillick
    Malcolm Sillick (@Malcolm_Sillick) reported

@LeilaniDowding @EE Lellani, it's not just EE, it's everyone. Even those on cable (Virgin Media) still have to have the phone plugged into the router. Seems like a good idea, until you get a power cut (which can be supported by a back-up battery, which is NOT given as standard) If the internet goes down, then so does your phone. Great if you have a mobile, but if you live in an area with a poor mobile signal, so reply on 'Wi-Fi calling' in the house, then when the internet goes down, you also have no mobile service. It's called progress!!

@PaulOBrienKil @VirginMediaNews @VirginMediaIE Currently swapping to Digiweb for broadband. Customer service seems to be their thing. A sales rep from Eir annoyed me with his pushiness, and Virgin Media ain't that great a price anymore
