  @StMirrenDaft @virginmedia @mat_fraser One of the key issues is their router. It’s rubbish and has programming which means main signal isn’t direct for WiFi. I had this problem; buy another router and turn Virgin one into modem. It solved my problem.

  @virginmedia can you improve your customer app experience? Your app is broken and your *** clearly aren't using it to see how broken it is. 1. App refreshes when swapping apps to get your requested information disconnecting Comms with a human with no ability to return 2. Unable to lodge a complaint within app 3. 2 plus hour waiting times on phone 4. Showing incorrect information about my contract (says it's ended, but it definitely hasn't) I've been without WiFi for 3 days and once again I'm stuck having to reach out on twitter to be heard.

  @0xsachi I think "moat" is just a polite way of saying monopoly. First mover advantage builds a brand and customer stickiness, and I think this should be the goal, personally. But all these anti-competitive practices like making cancelling services ridiculously hard (hello @virginmedia ) or walling the garden once you get enough users (hello @facebook Open Graph) should be cracked down on, in my opinion.
