Tony (@tony_cop) reported from Ampthill, England@maesozinha @virginmedia They don’t answer this question for some reason. 🤔. But use this virus for an excuse for poor service and slow response times.
-
purplewisdom (@PurpleWisdom) reported from Bedford, England@virginmedia @markscamilleri I’ve tried rebooting nothing is happening. All these people telling you they have no service can’t all be wrong. Stop giving us the same answer, we’re not idiots.
-
Clare grennan (@Clare55A) reported from Bedford, England@Haddy51 @virginmedia Yes I’m having exactly the same problem... so frustrating and despite following all the tips hints am not getting anywhere. I can’t even log into my account on line as it says my email is an old ntlworld account which I haven’t used for years
-
Trushār Patel (@trushar108) reported from Wellingborough, England@Virgin @virginmedia @richardbranson Dear Virgin Media, unlawful pretending fraudulent callers keep ringing us about a nonsense router signal issue and hacked IP network? Can you please implement preventative measures to protect vulnerable community members living in the UK. Thx
-
George 'guy with the coat' Massingham (@WhiteShadowCos) reported from Wellingborough, EnglandI'll be glad to leave @virginmedia superfast nothing most of the time! 'Reliable' my a**e only thing thats reliable is that it'll go down every 3 weeks... we must be entitled to leave for free surely with how often this has happened.
-
Lou Campbell❤️⚽️ (@mrsloucampbell) reported from Bedford, England@virginmedia You’re call centre is not helpful. I’ve spent 2.5 weeks trying to contact you. I am not cancelling the contract - you are- it’s not my fault you don’t provide my new house but you expect me ti@oay £300+ To cancel a contract that I want to keep- you r cancelling. Not me.
-
purplewisdom (@PurpleWisdom) reported from Bedford, England@virginmedia @markscamilleri I have no service at all despite you saying it’s been restored. Can’t even get into the website to report. Everything is down even though it’s showing it isn’t.
-
maggie.todd@live.co. (@maggietodd10) reported from Letchworth Garden City, England@virginmedia We can’t use landline because of fault. Tried mobile - no response. We shouldn’t have to keep reporting. You know there is a problem. Fix it please.
-
John Aitken (@johnait72020789) reported from Stotfold, England@virginmedia why do I only get a notice saying channel failed when I watch sky sports channel live, I can watch any other channel you provide me and don’t have a issue. I have done everything that you tell me to do but it still keeps happening.
-
Jason Flynn 💙 (@jasondflynn) reported from Letchworth Garden City, England@virginmedia It’s not specific to me; and to be honest I’m not really bothered. The problem is your marketing 5G phones in areas that don’t have 5G which is affectively mis-selling. Probably something you should look into.
-
John Aitken (@johnait72020789) reported from Stotfold, England@virginmedia Hi I’ve tried using the link you sent to fix our problem but it keeps just turn off and restarting itself. It happens whether we watch live tv or recorded programmes.
-
Grumpy garage man ! (@RustyOldBanger) reported from Sandy, England@kosind Virgin media area a shower of shite. Customer service means nothing to them unless you are new 😞
-
Abi (@ABeeeABeee) reported from Stotfold, England@virginmedia No, I have done that countless times since yesterday morning and the issue isn’t being resolved. I’m not doing it again
-
Gordon Brown (@KTMGordo) reported from Saint Neots, EnglandOh joy. Christmas Eve and @virginmedia has a fault that apparently won’t be fixed until 4 January. No TV or internet then this Christmas whilst stuck at home on my own 😢 ...although the service status page says ‘good service’ 🤔
-
Justine (@Just_Woodbridge) reported from Wellingborough, England@virginmedia Yes I’ve done the factory reset and still having issues. Sky boxes need to be reconnected to wifi every day and I’ve checked it all out with Sky and it’s not a Sky problem. It’s a Virgin wifi issue.
-
Rob Anderson #TipToeingOutOfHibernation (@Tech_Analyst_UK) reported from Bedford, England@virginmedia I'm well aware of the service status page, but when it just gives a generic 'we know there's a problem and hope to get it fixed by 3pm' it's not very helpful. But seemingly the chatbot is even less so. Just lost connection for the 3rd time in 28 hours. #Anyone4Starlink?
-
Jason Flynn 💙 (@jasondflynn) reported from Letchworth Garden City, England@VisctFishpond @virginmedia I had similar problems to you; got the runaround from Virgin. Lots of research done and the issue is almost certainly the router. You can buy a third-party router and turn the virgin router into a modem. Solved all my problems. Worth a try.

-
Nate-su Dragneel 🔥 (@iNathanM) reported from Letchworth Garden City, England@MrLeeNingLive @virginmedia Virgin have been awful at my current flat! Moving to Sky in my new flat - my mate that has it gets MUCH better connection 😩 When Virgin came to check my speeds they also suddenly went to the right numbers when they visited 👀
-
Jason Flynn 💙 (@jasondflynn) reported from Letchworth Garden City, England@virginmedia You do realise that the majority of messages sent to you are people complaining that your Wi-Fi is very poor? So perhaps concentrate on that for existing clients rather than pushing new sales? Poor router is the issue. #slowerfaraway
Virgin Media Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
mia (@miaKJKJ22) reported@entrustTMF @Gary1165 @virginmedia What issue are you having? I have yellow light flashing since yesterday. Their technical support is closed. Done troubleshooting and all and nothing.
-
Rusty Spoons (@JustRusty) reported@virginmedia How vile. There is no amount outstanding on my account. It has been paid. The response I got from the credit file amendments team was to contact the credit file amendments team. So I'll just go to CISAS. You're even horrible on social media. No wonder your trust pilot is so low.
-
Donna Tudor (@donna2904) reported@FuzziePieRat @virginmedia I’ve had the same issues. Given 30 days notice after 19 years as a customer. They kept offering me things I didn’t want. Three hours on chat to give my notice as they were ignoring me.
-
entrustTMF (@entrustTMF) reported@miaKJKJ22 @Gary1165 @virginmedia Working from home too. A real pain. They told me there was a problem in the area, then made up manifold times that it would be fixed. Often pushing forward the fix by a risible 56 minutes! Then a text yesterday saying it WAS fixed(app said perfect too)...when it obviously wasn't
-
entrustTMF (@entrustTMF) reportedOn day 8 with no broadband from @virginmedia the engineer has finally fixed it INFURIATINGLY he informed me that the service was shut off at the cabinet due to "noise" from the property that was affecting other users back on 21/4! Said he was astonished I hadn't been informed🤬
-
beir13346 (@beir13346) reported@virginmedia there has been intermittent signal in the Salford area on and off for mo this. What is going on with your service? Yes I have already signed in and run the diagnostics.
-
Jason Caine Smith (@jasoncainesmith) reported@VirginMedia No response on X or WhatsApp after hours. Cannot get through by phone due to your system issue. This has left an elderly customer without TV all day. Completely unacceptable. If I don’t get a response shortly I will be making a formal complaint.
-
Chris Ohanians (@COhanians) reported@virginmedia Your message button is not working. Just resets the x page over and over
-
Chris Ohanians (@COhanians) reported@virginmedia genuinely shocked and appalled by virgin leaving my 80 year old father in law without broadband for a week. No o2 signal so was uncontactable by family fo such a vulnerable adult. We live a couple of miles from him and we had intermittent broadband too. I went online
-
Greg O'Connell (Two jabs) (@Gregster29) reported@virginmedia All I'd like to know is if 2Gb fibre is available for my postcode. The website says yes, Customer service says no. So which is it?
