  • PurpleWisdom
purplewisdom (@PurpleWisdom) reported from Bedford, England

@virginmedia @markscamilleri I’ve tried rebooting nothing is happening. All these people telling you they have no service can’t all be wrong. Stop giving us the same answer, we’re not idiots.

  • tony_cop
Tony (@tony_cop) reported from Ampthill, England

@maesozinha @virginmedia They don’t answer this question for some reason. 🤔. But use this virus for an excuse for poor service and slow response times.

  • StopItRawr
Lee Hammond (@StopItRawr) reported from Biggleswade, England

@virginmedia Intermittent? It's absolutely, 100% buggered for those affected. Please could you have some transparency and tell your customers what has broken and an ETA to fix?

  • Carlgooutdoors
Carl Harris (@Carlgooutdoors) reported from Bedford, England

@virginmedia Hi, I am trying to reduce the services on my contract but your contact service is very poor. Upgrade? No problem we answer straight away. Reduce?? Wait for ages with no reply. 11 years a customer and yet this is how you treat me!

  • gsolomonphoto
Garry Solomon Photography (@gsolomonphoto) reported from Rushden, England

@virginmedia My broadband fluctuates, but even when I’m getting above 200mbps WiFi , my Ethernet to the back of the house is 5-10mbps. I’ve done all your tests, but read lots of comments that this is due to the virgin hub. Can you find a solution so I can work from home please!

  • Clare55A
Clare grennan (@Clare55A) reported from Bedford, England

@Haddy51 @virginmedia Yes I’m having exactly the same problem... so frustrating and despite following all the tips hints am not getting anywhere. I can’t even log into my account on line as it says my email is an old ntlworld account which I haven’t used for years

  • RichardPFisher
Richard Fisher (@RichardPFisher) reported from Wilby, England

Yay! @vmbusiness has **** the bed once again, third time in a week. Going to have to put a smart switch on it so I can remote reset the router.

  • jasondflynn
Jason Flynn 💙 (@jasondflynn) reported from Letchworth Garden City, England

@virginmedia Not ‘sorry hit you’ll need to get into another queue for hours and hours because it’s another team and we can’t help you’ That is not how to treat customers. In any business. Someone needs to take ownership of a situation. Truly terrible customer service. #virginmedia

  • jasondflynn
Jason Flynn 💙 (@jasondflynn) reported from Letchworth Garden City, England

@virginmedia None. Last three phone calls were cut off. I don’t really want to phone again, spend 20 minutes only to be cut off again. Can you help ?

  • jasondflynn
Jason Flynn 💙 (@jasondflynn) reported from Letchworth Garden City, England

@AdamDea29742908 @virginmedia But buying one between £50 and £200 will probably suit most and if it turns out it doesn’t solve your problems it hasn’t broken the bank. I went for an Asus one at about £120. Netgear is another strong brand. I had poor WiFi for years and it was a massive improvement. 2/2

  • drjawor
Michał Jawornik (@drjawor) reported from Letchworth Garden City, England

    @virginmedia But it’s not working.

  • jasondflynn
Jason Flynn 💙 (@jasondflynn) reported from Letchworth Garden City, England

@virginmedia So @virginmedia my contract has finally been resolved. 3 hours of phone calls in 24-hrs (including phone being cut off 3 times) 6 hours of WhatsApp Failure to honour contract offers. Shambles of a company. Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. #virginmedia #fail

  • WhiteShadowCos
George 'guy with the coat' Massingham (@WhiteShadowCos) reported from Wellingborough, England

I'll be glad to leave @virginmedia superfast nothing most of the time! 'Reliable' my a**e only thing thats reliable is that it'll go down every 3 weeks... we must be entitled to leave for free surely with how often this has happened.

  • jasondflynn
Jason Flynn 💙 (@jasondflynn) reported from Letchworth Garden City, England

@virginmedia And to re-emphasise what I’ve said countless times before; you’re wasting peoples time, because you don’t tell them that it is your router that causes most of the problems. Can’t believe @Ofcom allow this.

  • spurs6720
Chris Davis (@spurs6720) reported from Wellingborough, England

@virginmedia Service is fine , pissed off they took £132 this week though when obviously no sport to view

  • johnait72020789
John Aitken (@johnait72020789) reported from Stotfold, England

@virginmedia Hi I’ve tried using the link you sent to fix our problem but it keeps just turn off and restarting itself. It happens whether we watch live tv or recorded programmes.

@Stsantek @virginmedia This is mental. When I moved house, over a decade ago now, they were upfront with the contract. However, they did indeed massively screw up - cancelled the DD for the new contract, left the old one in place, I was still paying for the old service. Took 6 months to fix.

  • nubnutts
    Matthew Lock (@nubnutts) reported

@Stsantek @virginmedia damn i feel bad for you, i mean i pay £40 for gigabit on VM

@Stsantek @virginmedia Hartlepool, Swindon, Reading - 3 places where I know for a fact a VM connection has packet loss. They’re selling a broken service and are getting away with it.

  • GDW1807

@virginmedia why send a text saying the issue is fixed, when it isn't?
