Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Bedford and nearby locations:

  • PaulGrayDJ Paul Gray (@PaulGrayDJ) reported from Flitwick, England

@virginmedia @pauldonkin09 App not working and you get the same issue when you try to log via the website.

  • jasondflynn Jason Flynn 💙 (@jasondflynn) reported from Letchworth Garden City, England

@virginmedia And to re-emphasise what I’ve said countless times before; you’re wasting peoples time, because you don’t tell them that it is your router that causes most of the problems. Can’t believe @Ofcom allow this.

  • jasondflynn Jason Flynn 💙 (@jasondflynn) reported from Letchworth Garden City, England

@virginmedia So @virginmedia my contract has finally been resolved. 3 hours of phone calls in 24-hrs (including phone being cut off 3 times) 6 hours of WhatsApp Failure to honour contract offers. Shambles of a company. Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. #virginmedia #fail

  • johnait72020789 John Aitken (@johnait72020789) reported from Stotfold, England

@virginmedia Hi virgin just rang the phone number you have gave us to call but we went through using the key pad and then all you said was we will send a text message with way to fix which don’t work.

  • jasondflynn Jason Flynn 💙 (@jasondflynn) reported from Letchworth Garden City, England

@virginmedia So @virginmedia what do I do when your phone team tells me they can’t do anything and it’s down to the WhatsApp team who don’t do anything ? What is the next turn? I have a contract offer I want to accept but can’t ?

  • TylerQ2001 Tyler Quantrill (@TylerQ2001) reported from Rushden, England

@virginmedia broadband down? Woke up with it connected but not working at all?

  • jasondflynn Jason Flynn 💙 (@jasondflynn) reported from Letchworth Garden City, England

@virginmedia Sorry but the old ‘we don’t have email addresses’ doesn’t work. Everyone does. It’s just company policy not to hand them out. The key issue is that with this level of service, someone should say ‘leave it with us, we’ll look into it and someone will get back to you’ 1/2

  • johnait72020789 John Aitken (@johnait72020789) reported from Stotfold, England

@virginmedia Hi I’ve tried using the link you sent to fix our problem but it keeps just turn off and restarting itself. It happens whether we watch live tv or recorded programmes.

  • jasondflynn Jason Flynn 💙 (@jasondflynn) reported from Letchworth Garden City, England

@virginmedia Not ‘sorry hit you’ll need to get into another queue for hours and hours because it’s another team and we can’t help you’ That is not how to treat customers. In any business. Someone needs to take ownership of a situation. Truly terrible customer service. #virginmedia

  • jasondflynn Jason Flynn 💙 (@jasondflynn) reported from Letchworth Garden City, England

@virginmedia @Ofcom - can you help with this situation? As you monitor, telecoms companies; Do you think 3-hours worth of phone calls, being cut off 3 times and 80 minutes on WhatsApp (and counting) is good enough service from @virginmedia just to renew a contract ? #virginmedia

  • TylerQ2001 Tyler Quantrill (@TylerQ2001) reported from Rushden, England

@virginmedia No known issues in the area, and then the services test doesn’t work either? 😕

  • ABeeeABeee Abi (@ABeeeABeee) reported from Stotfold, England

Can honestly say I don’t think I’ve ever received customer service as poorly as I have from @virginmedia this weekend/this morning. Absolutely disgusting 😡😡😡

  • jasondflynn Jason Flynn 💙 (@jasondflynn) reported from Letchworth Garden City, England

@virginmedia Totally shocking service from your team today. Nearly 2 hours of calls. Cut off; not being put through to disconnections and effectively being called a liar. Interested @virginmedia ? @MartinSLewis one for you

  • jasondflynn Jason Flynn 💙 (@jasondflynn) reported from Letchworth Garden City, England

@virginmedia It’s coming up to 3 hours wait on WhatsApp on TOP of 3 hours of phone calls. Do your teams compete for the worst service levels @virginmedia ?

  • johnait72020789 John Aitken (@johnait72020789) reported from Stotfold, England

@virginmedia Hi yes I’ve check all cables are in correct and I’ve turn off from socket and removed plug then put back the plug after 30 seconds but it didn’t help it still turn itself off twice after doing it.

  • jasondflynn Jason Flynn 💙 (@jasondflynn) reported from Letchworth Garden City, England

@virginmedia None. Last three phone calls were cut off. I don’t really want to phone again, spend 20 minutes only to be cut off again. Can you help ?

  • Roy_Long Roy Long (@Roy_Long) reported from Clapham, England

@SamRobertsComms @virginmedia They are about as good as Three for customer services. Complete bags of smelly stuff.

  • jasondflynn Jason Flynn 💙 (@jasondflynn) reported from Letchworth Garden City, England

@virginmedia I don’t have a problem with mine. I changed it to a different router a couple of years and all of the problems that everybody experiences; such as dropping Wi-Fi disappeared.

  • jasondflynn Jason Flynn 💙 (@jasondflynn) reported from Letchworth Garden City, England

@StephenD1402 @virginmedia It’s the router Steve. The free Virgin router is the problem. Buy a new router from someone like Asus and turn the Virgin one to Modem mode. Should solve most problems.

  • garyjackets gary jackets (@garyjackets) reported from Biggleswade, England

Well done @virginmedia 2 yes 2 hours on hold to cancel my account and YOU put the phone down on me !

  • SadieMayCakes Sharon Bimson (@SadieMayCakes) reported

@virginmedia is there a problem in Stockton TS18 TV down most of the day today...

  • ChrisPearson93 Chris Pearson (@ChrisPearson93) reported

@virginmedia My contact with Virgin has been terminated without fees. Disappointing, as I have enjoyed the services for 2 weeks and now they are taken away from me because of someone else's mistake. You would have had a customer for years had you honoured your original promise!

  • PatrickMullark9 Patrick Mullarkey 🇪🇺 (@PatrickMullark9) reported

@brendanbelfast @virginmedia @VMHelpDesk Gave up on Virgin Media after 10 years or so, as service was more variable than the weather and they increased the contract price as often as they thought they could get away with it. BT since. Consistently good service and an agreed contract price

  • a_borwick Alex Borwick (@a_borwick) reported

I'm now on hour 3, department 6, and security check 5. At this point, all the people I've given individual password letters to could get together and figure it out! Maybe a fun challenge for the @virginmedia customer support lines.

  • drewsnx Drew White (@drewsnx) reported

@O2, hi - I want to switch from @virginmedia cable to O2 5G. When I went into an O2 Shop & asked about offers, they told me as I'm a Virgin Media customer I should ask VM, as the two are linked. They mentioned "Volt", but I can't see how this relates to my situation. Any idea?
