@IFALeicester @virginmedia @Ofcom Terrible company to deal with Scott, took me 8+ months to set up an installation as they had to come out to do road works. Every week promised they’d come within the next few days. Effectively no internet during that period. Left us in limbo the whole time.

@virginmedia I was meant to have my virgin media installed back on the 23rd and it didn't happen due to a wayleave. Was told to leave it with you guys and you'd let me know. Its now the 4th October and still no communication from you at all. Very poor service.

  • LizzieSagoo
Lizzie Sagoo (@LizzieSagoo) reported from Swavesey, England

@virginmedia Still no broadband. We texted that number yesterday as advised - when can we expect to hear back? Do you have a customer service telephone number? I can’t find customer service tel number or online chat on your website?

  • Carlgooutdoors
Carl Harris (@Carlgooutdoors) reported from Bedford, England

@virginmedia Hi, I am trying to reduce the services on my contract but your contact service is very poor. Upgrade? No problem we answer straight away. Reduce?? Wait for ages with no reply. 11 years a customer and yet this is how you treat me!

  • TMITV19
Let's get back to normal #KBF (@TMITV19) reported from Bedford, England

@virginmedia The outcome of the call was what I wanted. I mean your pour service telling people to sit online for 4 hours waiting for someone to talk to me rather than call your call centres. If I'd called up straight away I'd not have needed to tweet you. You didn't even tweet back quickly.

  • Andrewocd
Andrew Maynard (@Andrewocd) reported from Eltisley, England

@JustisMatt @virginmedia @SkyUK You can get out easily. They haven’t performed their side of the contract so they have broken it .

  • Mazeda_B
Maz (@Mazeda_B) reported from Royston, England

@virginmedia Funny enough that’s the same thing two individuals told me over the phone and made me explain the issue multiple times! @virginmedia clearly don’t value existing customers.

  • LizzieSagoo
Lizzie Sagoo (@LizzieSagoo) reported from Swavesey, England

@virginmedia customer. Activated 24 July on Gig1. Nine days in: WiFi works in one floor of my house, upload is 40% below spec on router, I’ve been told I cannot order the equipment needed to fix it. 90 minutes on chat today produced a £5 offer and a suggestion that I cancel. Detail below. 🧵

  • cdavo25
    Chris Davis (@cdavo25) reported

@virginmedia WORST Internet Provider iv ever had! Internet breaks takes nearly 2 weeks to fix it and within a week it broke again! And all you get back from customer care is no understanding and promises it will be fixed soon! Absolute joke of a company L

  • JacquelineBolto

@virginmedia No Internet since 5am today. Checked status no reported issues in our area. Equipment all fine. What do you suggest I do???

  • shardon1980
    Shardon (@shardon1980) reported

@virginmedia Issue still not fixed . your compensation is £10.34 a day . What about subscription services like Netflix etc . I’ve had to use data from my phone to work, this is unacceptable in an age where everything is WiFi. Also no contact from your team. This is a major issue in the area

  • TubzNetz
    TubzNetz (@TubzNetz) reported

@virginmedia smart move switching from analogue to fibre landlines during business hours, causing broadband to reset, what retard in change control approved that in statement of work?

  • HRH_Duke_of_Url
    Dadaldo (@HRH_Duke_of_Url) reported

Virgin Media are the worst. They strong armed me into a ****** deal to take out an O2 sim for £5 a month just to get affordable broadband. Now when my broadband's down, which happens weekly, I check their online service checker and it bounces me to a virgin02 sign in page.

  • Nokkapie
    Paul Tee (@Nokkapie) reported

@virginmedia Oh ive just had a chat with your customer services and they were not just useless but they lied! Claiming my bill increase was a contractual price rise which is utter nonsense seeing my actual pre contract I AGREED to has the price rises April 2027!
