@virginmedia @btsport why can’t I see the red button sports on the Virgin App?? Why can’t I login to the BT sport?? Missing the rugby!!

  • mrsloucampbell Lou Campbell❤️⚽️ (@mrsloucampbell) reported from Bedford, England

@virginmedia Could you please highlight exactly what clause you want me to read ? I am a disabled mother of 3 with her daughter needing internet for gcse - which You can’t provide- she needs internet to study. I am NOT cancelling contract - you are - by not providing service that I pay for

  • Gturv GTT* (@Gturv) reported from Bedford, England

@virginmedia No fault that describes my issue. Tried fault page but led to a dead link.

  • mrsloucampbell Lou Campbell❤️⚽️ (@mrsloucampbell) reported from Bedford, England

@virginmedia That is a joke - as I want to take @virginmedia with me - so are you saying I should be choosing a house based on virgin media’s’ service ??? it’s not my fault you don’t service the area.... why am I being penalised ? You are breaking the contract by not providing the service.

  • paulwatts003 Paul Watts (@paulwatts003) reported from Biggleswade, England

For the 4th time this weekend, @virginmedia is down. 4th time in actually less than 2days! I’m back to work tomorrow - from home. Am I’m going to end up losing money due to this incompetence?? No confidence in this company.

  • LizzieSagoo Lizzie Sagoo (@LizzieSagoo) reported from Swavesey, England

@virginmedia It does now (6pm). Do you know why we don’t have service when others in area do? We have tried rebooting

  • GoMcMahon #DocMartin (@GoMcMahon) reported from Saint Ives, England

@virginmedia I have tried every method to get a response and a solution from customer support and it's now another week gone by that we can't use the V6 box because you haven't sent me a small cable adapter. @Ofcom you could be more firm with companies that let customers down!

  • AmitP1992 Amit Puntambekar (@AmitP1992) reported from Fenstanton, England

@IFALeicester @virginmedia @Ofcom Terrible company to deal with Scott, took me 8+ months to set up an installation as they had to come out to do road works. Every week promised they’d come within the next few days. Effectively no internet during that period. Left us in limbo the whole time.

  • ohhollygosh Holly O (@ohhollygosh) reported from Biggleswade, England

@virginmedia Hi, are there any known issues in SG18? Our wifi has been dropping out a lot over the last 3 days or so

  • jamesdgreen02 jamesdgreen (@jamesdgreen02) reported from Bedford, England

@virginmedia great service from your sales team over the phone as your website crashed when ordering. But needed to talk to CS to get them to cancel the order that was partially done before website crashed. But accordingly CS they can’t see it. Ant it would take them 7 days 1/2

  • RustyOldBanger Grumpy garage man ! (@RustyOldBanger) reported from Sandy, England

@kosind Virgin media area a shower of shite. Customer service means nothing to them unless you are new 😞

  • Gturv GTT* (@Gturv) reported from Bedford, England

@virginmedia Do you have issues in MK42 area? My internet down, 2nd time in 3 days. Your service status says everything is good, I don't believe that for a minute.

  • GoMcMahon #DocMartin (@GoMcMahon) reported from Saint Ives, England

@virginmedia why is it impossible for you to provide customer support? Every other major company has managed to set up employees to work from home and continue customer support, but your great media company cannot! 20+ mins waiting for an answer, is very poor.

  • LizzieSagoo Lizzie Sagoo (@LizzieSagoo) reported from Swavesey, England

@virginmedia Still no broadband. We texted that number yesterday as advised - when can we expect to hear back? Do you have a customer service telephone number? I can’t find customer service tel number or online chat on your website?

  • kevinspicer72 Kevin Spicer (@kevinspicer72) reported from Bedford, England

Just been DM'd by @OpenreachHelp to ask if there is anything ELSE they can help me with TODAY. After NOT being any help at all on FRIDAY. I think it's a parody account. Also @SkyUK didn't call as promised. God I wish we had @virginmedia round here.

  • bellinghman Alan Bellingham (@bellinghman) reported from Royston, England

Dear @virginmedia - your web page doesn't think that your services are available on my postcode. Should I cancel my account? I was hoping to change my package

  • LizzieSagoo Lizzie Sagoo (@LizzieSagoo) reported from Swavesey, England

@virginmedia our internet is still down. Website says there is a fault, but our neighbours Virgin service was restored yesterday evening. I can’t find tel number or online chat on your website to find out more. Pls can we have an update

  • LizzieSagoo Lizzie Sagoo (@LizzieSagoo) reported from Swavesey, England

  • alanwildthing99 Alan Wildman (@alanwildthing99) reported from Bedford, England

@virginmedia hi just making sure your tech department would never phone up and not ask for the Bill payer first?? Or you don’t have a 01253 code call place?? Mother in law had 5 calls Saturday!!

Virgin Media Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • chris_ian_dixon Chris Dixon (@chris_ian_dixon) reported

@virginmedia I actually want to upgrade my broadband from M200 to M500 however I am paying too much for the rest of my package. I.e tv and home phone. I don’t have a second box. I can move to sky for TV and reduce my bill or cancel with you and enjoy a 50% discount with you for m500 and tv.

  • jfpod Keep Left (@jfpod) reported

@yorkshirejesus7 @richardbranson @virginmedia This is, if you ask me, the result of an #effectivemonopoly . No other #cable service so I'd have to install a phone line and all the extra costs that entails, if I want to switch. #Virginmedia should be broken up into 2 or 3 smaller, competing Telcos.

  • PippaDuffy Pippa Duffy (@PippaDuffy) reported

@virginmedia Not only has our internet service been awful this week, but on three separate occasions your operative has hung up on us after an hours wait, rather than accept our request to terminate our contract. WE ARE MOVING HOUSE. LET US CANCEL!!!!

  • BeereAlex Alex Beere (@BeereAlex) reported

@virginmedia Wow so it’s either write to you or burn time and money waiting beyond another hour to see if you might be able to match what the competition is offering! Doesn’t seem the most efficient or non obstructive way to let someone cancel easily?

  • cmhbyandco Christine Davies (@cmhbyandco) reported

@virginmedia We have a problem with our Wifi being intermittent. Have done all that your web suggests but it still drops out. It's not our tech or network but the hub! Need a new one please!

  • STUPOTT77 THE MORRIS MOB (@STUPOTT77) reported

@virginmedia Yes. After 6 months we still have the same issue. I was told today there is a 3 month wait. Is that correct?

  • Lou1232 Lou (@Lou1232) reported

@virginmedia After trying for 6+ hours today, it's not looking good though is it? What happens if i cant get through and you hike up the bill on a package i want to (and quite rightly should br able to) cancel?

  • Benjiffy Benjamin Clarkson (@Benjiffy) reported

@virginmedia I'm calling about the price increase, which means I'll be paying £56.50 per month for something a new customer would pay £40 per month for. That'd be about £163 difference over a year. I was told I could cancel for two months then get a new customer deal... Why not just do it?

  • stevie_boy Steve Smith (@stevie_boy) reported

@virginmedia Unfortunately the issue isn’t being resolved by your engineers as it appears fixed but a day or so later it fails again so clearly isn’t being fully fixed.

  • Chris_Godsave Chris Godsave (@Chris_Godsave) reported

@virginmedia do you have the worst customer servicing in the world? So far It’s taken 4hrs of my life to make a basic change to my package & still not done. I’ve been on hold for an hour 4 times and then been cut off. Made a formal complaint & told it takes 28 days to respond!
