Gordon Brown (@KTMGordo) reported from Saint Neots, EnglandOh joy. Christmas Eve and @virginmedia has a fault that apparently won’t be fixed until 4 January. No TV or internet then this Christmas whilst stuck at home on my own 😢 ...although the service status page says ‘good service’ 🤔
-
#DocMartin (@GoMcMahon) reported from Saint Ives, England@virginmedia been without broadband since lunchtime. Your support app says it'll be out until 22:50. I run my business from home, and now cannot hold my afternoon meetings with clients. So are you going to compensate for my loss of earnings?
-
GTT* (@Gturv) reported from Bedford, England@virginmedia No fault that describes my issue. Tried fault page but led to a dead link.
-

-
Carl Harris (@Carlgooutdoors) reported from Bedford, England@virginmedia Hi, I am trying to reduce the services on my contract but your contact service is very poor. Upgrade? No problem we answer straight away. Reduce?? Wait for ages with no reply. 11 years a customer and yet this is how you treat me!
-
Let's get back to normal #KBF (@TMITV19) reported from Bedford, England@virginmedia The outcome of the call was what I wanted. I mean your pour service telling people to sit online for 4 hours waiting for someone to talk to me rather than call your call centres. If I'd called up straight away I'd not have needed to tweet you. You didn't even tweet back quickly.
-
Rob Anderson #TipToeingOutOfHibernation (@Tech_Analyst_UK) reported from Bedford, England2nd day running that @virginmedia services have dropped out. Unacceptable with so many working from home. Chatbot just redirects to service status #fail
-
#LITFL (@GoMcMahon) reported from Saint Ives, England@virginmedia I have been a customer for 20yrs, have a minimal service broadband, tv and phone and pay £60/m. There's no match in current bundles. The nearest offer to new customers has more tv, less broadband but costs only £38/m for 12 months then £69 This is just wrong!
-
Pete Sibthorpe (@Sibby_Sibthorpe) reported from Over, England@virginmedia why can I never get through to your support team.
-
Lou Campbell❤️⚽️ (@mrsloucampbell) reported from Bedford, England@virginmedia Could you please highlight exactly what clause you want me to read ? I am a disabled mother of 3 with her daughter needing internet for gcse - which You can’t provide- she needs internet to study. I am NOT cancelling contract - you are - by not providing service that I pay for
-
Pete Sibthorpe (@Sibby_Sibthorpe) reported from Over, England@virginmedia I have been yes. WiFi service from router. I’ve rebooted several times.
-
purplewisdom (@PurpleWisdom) reported from Bedford, England@virginmedia @markscamilleri I’ve tried rebooting nothing is happening. All these people telling you they have no service can’t all be wrong. Stop giving us the same answer, we’re not idiots.
-
Craig (@Jagercraig) reported from Saint Neots, England@virginmedia can you help? Recently got broadband with you and my iPhone won’t stay connected
-
Let's get back to normal #KBF (@TMITV19) reported from Bedford, England@virginmedia Eventually I looked at my phone and saw that they'd replied after 3 hours. I saw it half an hour later and replied but they then weren't talking to me. The next day I called up and got through after 3 minutes. Using covid as an excuse for poor service is awful.
-
Lee Hammond (@StopItRawr) reported from Biggleswade, England@virginmedia Intermittent? It's absolutely, 100% buggered for those affected. Please could you have some transparency and tell your customers what has broken and an ETA to fix?
-
Su Felce (@swimmingsu) reported from Cardington, England@virginmedia 1/2 been on the phone for over an hour on hold waiting for customer service - finally get through and the customer service rep cuts me off before I even say what I want...
-
Jo Buxton (@JEM1429) reported from Biggleswade, England@virginmedia @virginmedia My husband adjusted our VM package to include an extra V6 box in a bedroom. Engineer booked in 6 weeks ago. Turned up last week without the box. He said he'd call back 3 days later to install. He didn't turn up. We've phoned your customer services over
-
purplewisdom (@PurpleWisdom) reported from Bedford, England@virginmedia @markscamilleri I have no service at all despite you saying it’s been restored. Can’t even get into the website to report. Everything is down even though it’s showing it isn’t.
-

Virgin Media Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Andy Nicholls 🫧⚒️✝️ (@andy_nicks60) reportedWell @virginmedia certainly have great customer service people that just feed you absolute lies about not stocking 360 boxes anymore then when they lose the argument they say you can’t have one because you’re not a new customer, and promptly end the conversation.
-
Habbott :-) 🇺🇦 (@BeakyTweeter) reported@virginmedia Help!! Our neighbours are Virgin installed but they said cables were needed as no-one on the street had it. Our Virgin connection at the gate has now been cut off!!!!!
-
doozerlyn (@doozerlyn) reported@YouMadBruv3r @virginmedia Check on their service checker page.... Mine says will be sorted at 1008 hours on 28th August... Very specific... I bet yours will be the same.... @virginmedia lying to everyone, refunding no one....
-
Mike B (@BonesE78) reported@virginmedia SERIOUSLY SORT YOUR ******* INTERNET OUT!!!! I need to talk about my contract ASAP,sick of this **** service!!!
-
Gary Adams (@GazzaAdams) reported@UKDan86 @virginmedia I have read the T&Cs, Dan. Working from home isn't the basis of my complaint — paying for a broadband service that's been repeatedly intermittent for four weeks is. Virgin Media themselves acknowledge an ongoing fault. Whether I use my connection for work, Netflix or watching cat videos is irrelevant to expecting the service I'm paying for to actually work.
-
Amy (@AmyDonalson_X) reported@virginmedia please explain to me how after my package ran out and I renewed with a different package in JULY it’s taken 3 phone calls, 5 online conversations and 4 different bill amounts for September/October to still have no resolution or idea how much my next bill will be??
-
Jon H (@JonHar1985) reported@virginmedia Haha there is zero point. I’ve got 2 complaints ongoing due to how crap you’ve become. Really love I’m ******* for like another 18 months. Absolute top tier service you bunch of jokers
-
Dr Sonali Misra (@MisraSonali) reported@virginmedia can you help as O2 account isn’t answering?
-
❌️ (@Guacamole_Hater) reported@elliviant I've got just broadband with virgin media (worst customer service in the world) and I'm paying £21 for 250mb. Also this reminded me I forgot to pay my bill 2 days ago so thanks for this haha 😭

Robin Hall (@RobinHall115) reported@APTSArchive @virginmedia Beware the spam help page that has added posts. Unfortunately a too common trend. Our rail operator is frequently being spammed on its customer account.
