@virginmedia for the last 2 weeks our Internet both cabled and WiFi has been ramdomly disconnecting. What is going on? Location: Cambridge. I'm paying for a broken service!

  • JayDThePlumber
JayD the Yiddo (@JayDThePlumber) reported from Cambridgeshire, England

@virginmedia Hi, I’ve signed up but received no email from VM to verify my email. To add to that my broadband has gone down as well.

  • Jenacious_D
Jenacious_D (the D is a Tribute) (@Jenacious_D) reported from Cambridgeshire, England

@dcb72 @virginmedia I reckon it’ll be just before the point at which they’d have to pay compensation for the outage.

  • ebuie
Elizabeth Buie (she/her) (@ebuie) reported from Cambridgeshire, England

Dear @virginmedia — you've cut me off a day early; I'm not moving house until tomorrow and was expecting to have service through the end of today. I don't find a customer service phone number on your website. Can you help? I'd be grateful!

  • ScottWestron
Scott Westron (@ScottWestron) reported from Cambridgeshire, England

@virginmedia I’d love to meet you head of customer care. I have nearly ten years’ experience of being your customer - purely - because you are the only people I can get cable with. You have been consistently *awful* every single time that I have had the misfortune to need your help.

  • danj2k
Dan Jackson (@danj2k) reported from Cambridgeshire, England

@virginmedia Yeah it's not WiFi because it's affecting my pc which is connected via an Ethernet cable to the back of the hub. Just now it went down and came back up but there was no change to the lights on the hub.

  • nleaney
Nigel Leaney (@nleaney) reported from Willingham, England

@JoeBaguley What’s your 4G like when you lose power? Often when we have a powercut both the broadband and 4G signal dies too. I’m running a UPS but guess @virginmedia / @EE don’t protect their kit 🤔

  • kelvin_fagan
Kelvin Fagan (@kelvin_fagan) reported from Cambridgeshire, England

@virginmedia A reboot of the hub seems to have resolved my wifi issues, thanks!

  • MHartleyJones
Martin Jones (@MHartleyJones) reported from Cambridgeshire, England

For a while now, I’ve been dissatisfied with the performance of my elderly rented @virginmedia TIVO TV box. Tonight it ceased to function, so I phoned for a fix. I didn’t get a fix. Instead the operator tried to sell me a new one at extra cost. Not a happy bunny!

  • tombowran
Tom Bowran (@tombowran) reported from Willingham, England

@virginmedia i need you to call me. No internet is unacceptable when we’re all working from home. Making it impossible to find a phone number to also get help is also a joke.

  • LordyGibs
Matthew James (@LordyGibs) reported from Cambridgeshire, England

@virginmedia Hi, it’s a problem in the area, i done a reset job yesterday, I useless wireless connection.

  • GoMcMahon
#DocMartin (@GoMcMahon) reported from Saint Ives, England

@virginmedia why is it impossible for you to provide customer support? Every other major company has managed to set up employees to work from home and continue customer support, but your great media company cannot! 20+ mins waiting for an answer, is very poor.

  • ScottWestron
Scott Westron (@ScottWestron) reported from Cambridgeshire, England

@virginmedia After three attempts they’ve phoned back to say they’re the faults departments and can’t help. 😂

  • Liam_safe_hands
Munty (@Liam_safe_hands) reported from Bar Hill, England

@virginmedia Do you think this is exceptable?? No TV or Internet for the whole day. The fix time keeps getting pushed back too. Never had any of these problems with @SkyUK

@virginmedia you've been very quick to take my money over the years but when you want to cancel a contract no phone lines and no clear way to do it online?? Your web chat is appalling! This is horribly painful

  • lizziespeller
Elizabeth Speller (@lizziespeller) reported from Cambridgeshire, England

@virginmedia What's happening with the virgin TV v6 tivo box? I know the streaming channels are going on June 2nd but is it the whole box shutting down if you don't upgrade? Cause we don't want the 360 box in our house

  • tomstocktontees
Tom-Stockton. No DMs without asking please. (@tomstocktontees) reported

@virginmedia #virginmedia made a complaint to these clowns after having three weeks of a locked account. Their response was “login to your account” #fuckinguseless

  • milnerj11
    Janey (@milnerj11) reported

@virginmedia renewal time and I am dumbfounded by the increase! Apparently because I am not an O2 customer I won’t get the discounts I got. So being a Virgin customer since the 1990s doesn’t count then? Clearly not. What a way to retain existing customers #bye

  • lauravince1
    Laura Vince (@lauravince1) reported

@VirginMediaIE upgraded mobile as im a existing customer but have been sent a new number and sim card for the phone. Will my existing virgin media sim not work?

  • RabArmstrong77
    rab1977 (@RabArmstrong77) reported

@virginmedia Just moved home. No broadband or tv. Service supposed to be connected yesterday. Been on hold for over 2hrs last night with no answer and now today 46mins and counting

  • AshronDesigns
    Ashron Designs (@AshronDesigns) reported

@virginmedia I have decided to cancel after nearly 20 years! Tried live chat and all they did was reduce the package to reduce the price.

  • burgcolin
    Colin (@burgcolin) reported

@virginmedia no Netflix or apps working! Rang but still not working

  • OCP_84
    Owain (@OCP_84) reported

@virginmedia @quidco @Top_CashBack ...which always inevitably routes the customer to cancellations after being offered an initial substandard rip off deal. You are treating your current members like dirt. You really have to review your retention initiatives, and put offers in place for EXISTING CUSTOMERS

  • Ester_Laura83
    ester83 (@Ester_Laura83) reported

@Dominiho7 @virginmedia same, thought I'd be able to use the inpost locker down the road, we've 3 evri drop off shops in the village but min 25 min to a yodel one.

  • GarethYOURCXC
    GarethYOURCXC (@GarethYOURCXC) reported

@OCP_84 @virginmedia @tntsports That is just bonkers! Clearly "valuable" is being used in the wrong context. Their 'new' acquisition numbers are more important that long term customer loyalty/value.
