@virginmedia another 10 minute broadband outage in CB245* which didn’t show on your status page. This seems to be occurring more frequently 😔

.@virginmedia Greetings. How on earth is a person supposed to speak to you? I can’t change anything meaningful on your website & your phone system won’t accept my password. So you just keep charging me for out of date kit & poor service. CALL ME or DM me please.

@virginmedia broadband outage in CB245* again. A couple of short outages today already but this seems to be a bit longer and nothing on your status page to indicate a problem...
-
Nigel Leaney (@nleaney) reported from Willingham, England
@virginmedia completely lost broadband service in CB245xx. Not very helpful for those of us working from home. Are you able to provide any more details than your status page tells us: We have identified the problem and an engineer is on their way. Fix estimate: 18 November 15:00

@virginmedia So my Broadband/phone is now £50. And a £3.50 price rise. But new customer can have it for £26.99... you robbing ungrateful bastids, existing customers obviously don't matter!! Time to look elsewhere.

@virginmedia Hi, I disabled 5ghz on the IP website because someone at ‘Ring Doorbell’ said it will only work on 2.4 but now none of my devices will connect to WiFi. I now can’t log back in to change it back to what it was. Is this something you can please help me with? Thanks

@JoeBaguley What’s your 4G like when you lose power? Often when we have a powercut both the broadband and 4G signal dies too. I’m running a UPS but guess @virginmedia / @EE don’t protect their kit 🤔

Elizabeth Speller (@lizziespeller) reported from Cambridgeshire, England
@pbw1000 @virginmedia Same problem here, same timing, also in CB4, now one call told it’s not their problem so must be ours. Next call told it might be their problem! Daughter is NHS Dr trying to work line @virginmedia

Tom Bowran (@tombowran) reported from Willingham, England
@virginmedia I’ve been through your rubbish instant chat, i’ve been connected by your phone lines back to a phone tech, but I want to speak to a manager in the UK about the diabolical service I’m having both with your products and service

Elizabeth Speller (@lizziespeller) reported from Cambridgeshire, England
@virginmedia Internet down since yesterday. Ring: automated message says it’s an area problem. Then told it’s fixed. It stops again-they deny any problem now and suggest it cd be router but insist we wait 48 hours to see. Dau is hosp Dr. working from home! 48 hours no NHS access?

Elizabeth Speller (@lizziespeller) reported from Cambridgeshire, England
@Football101blog @virginmedia And it’s not just one customer. Is there some magic number of customers that make a complaint valid? When you have a business to run, a job to do- and are in lockdown already- days without internet are a major problem.

Nigel Leaney (@nleaney) reported from Willingham, England
@UKPowerNetworks short (7 minute) power outage experienced in CB245** @virginmedia service lost as well as @EE service too. I know the value of a UPS and while I recognise that residential broadband isn’t protected, I’m shocked that the EE mobile service was compromised.

adamrobertson.co.uk (@AdamRPhoto) reported from Godmanchester, England
Hey @virginmedia who do I contact for constant packet loss and internet issues as your software says there are none, but there 100% is 😩🔫

@IFALeicester @virginmedia @Ofcom Terrible company to deal with Scott, took me 8+ months to set up an installation as they had to come out to do road works. Every week promised they’d come within the next few days. Effectively no internet during that period. Left us in limbo the whole time.

Mark McC. (@MarkMcC57046578) reported
@virginmedia Maybe, but that still doesn't address the issue of Abysmal service, and lack of compensation thereof... 🤬
-
Dale Robertson (@R3Dale) reported
@virginmedia Also, it seems to fall out completely at times and when I look there are certain network names that match up. Could this be massive usage in the area that is effecting my own signal?
-
BECCA (@fashiontrain) reported
@virginmedia Internet has gone down twice today so far! Thanks again for not sending anyone out or giving myself and my partner a refund off our bill dead useful 👍🏽
-
Dale Robertson (@R3Dale) reported
@virginmedia It's over a WiFi. It was fine when the device was on the side of the house where the Hub 3 is, but on the other side (this is my guess as being the cause anyway) it's terrible. Sometimes okay, but often VERY slow. Signal booster maybe?
-
Matt Spencer (@MattSpencertv) reported
@virginmedia Hi there, could I DM you about an outage in SW20 - one of your engineers was spotted in the area just before it began, so hoping you may be able to help advise.
-
🎮Robbie🕹 (@Robbie_Jardine) reported
Hey @virginmedia I'm trying to report an exposed external junction box outside my flat but when trying to contact your customer service there is no option to speak to someone regarding this. There are exposed cables and at risk of being tampered with.
-

@virginmedia With the current waiting times?? I have a job, I can't wait for two hours. Terrible customer service!
-
leighton (@LeightonForeman) reported
@virginmedia I have. 30 mins of my time wasted, rude, unhelpful staff.
-
Suzanne Amos (@Guerrilla_edit) reported
@virginmedia hi there, I’m in the 14-day cooling off period and I’ve been trying to cancel my broadband contract but cannot get through to you. I cannot get through to your pre-installation team.
-
Peter McLoughlin (@lastminutepete) reported from Hillingdon, England
@virginmedia Yes I’ve done all that and it said the signal was weak. Pressed the button to optimise the WiFi or router or whatever it is and that didn’t work. Is it not the job of the router to emit a strong WiFi signal? All the devices trying to connect are modern and up to date.
